Hey there readers, looks like I'll be able to update another chapter today. Most of you already guessed the Shadow Dragonair and Zwelious, of course I did make it obvious and easy to guess. And yes, Yellow is indeed from Pokemon Adventures in the manga, but she's not the same Yellow from the manga. And this Blue isn't from the manga, this one is from Pokemon Origins. Just thought I should clear that up. Oh and... Ash isn't snagging Shadow Pokemon since they aren't the main focus here right now, that'll be in a different arc after the whole war thing. For now the Shadow Pokemon are more of an... early future overpowered creatures that Ash has to deal with. Alright, I think I've covered most of the questions from the reviews. I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Chapter 29: Shadow Dragons

Ash's eyes widened. He had only seen one Shadow Pokemon before, but now he had to deal with two of them? And mid evolutions of DRAGONS no less. He looked at the Shadow Dragonair before something occurred to him… there was something familiar about that Dragonair, but… "Why are you two tearing down this place looking for a Dratini if you already have its evolved form?"

Cassidy and Butch just grinned. "Who said we wanted that pathetic little thing?" Cassidy said vaguely. "Dragonair, Shadow Rush! Knock that little fox to kingdom come!"

Before Ash could give an order the Shadow Dragonair's body was filled with dark and sinister aura before it slammed into Eon causing her to scream out in pain. "AAAARGH! THAT HURTS!" She fell back a few feet, cringing from the attack.

"E-Eon! Are you okay?" Ash asked in concern as he bend down to the injured Eevee. What was that attack? I've never seen such a move before…

"Oddish! Hurry use-" Before Yellow could give a command, Butch shouted loudly.

"Use Shadow Storm now!"

The Shadow Zwelious suddenly powered up itself as the same dark aura surrounded its body before it shot out a big dark purple and black tornado attack and it sucked in both the Oddish and Eon.

"ODDISH!" Yellow yelled.

"EON!" Ash called in concern as both of their Pokemon were taking damage within the shadowy twister.

When the Shadow Storm attack faded, both Oddish and Eon were lying on the ground unconscious. Yellow and Ash were shocked at this, how did the attack wiped them both out like that?

Butch and Cassidy were laughing maniacally. "Don't you see how useless this is?" Butch asked rhetorically. "Team Rocket is too strong for a couple of runts like you. Now, we'll be taking your Pokemon as consolation prizes for the trouble you caused."

Ash glared. His other Pokemon were still tired from Hunter J, but he couldn't just let them take his Pokemon.

"Ash… come on, let me fight… I know I can take them."The Pikachu, who had been watching the battle, said beside him.

"Storm, you're still tired from that battle with Hunter J, and their Shadow Pokemon are really strong. I don't think you can handle it as you are now." Ash said to his first partner with worry.

"Ash, let's just hope we've bought Blue and the others enough time to release the Pokemon." Yellow whispered to the boy. "I still have one more Pokemon that can fight and slow them down. Remember, we're not trying to win here; just buy enough time for them to escape."

Ash nodded, "Right, we'll have to prolong this as much as we can."

The Shadow Dragonair gave a sadistic smirk as it looked over at Ash before it spoke up in a sinister voice. "Ash! So it IS you. It's been a while, almost five years now? You've certainly grown."

Ash and Yellow both looked at it in surprise. Yellow was looking between it and Ash. "You know that Dragonair?"

"... I don't know…" Ash frowned. "I think…"

"Aww, I'm hurt. you don't remember me? We used to play around here when I was a Dratini." The Dragonair said before it began to sneer. "But what can I expect from such an important little child chosen by Mew itself?"

"What…? Wait…" Ash's eyes widen. "No way… it can't be… Aurasky?"

The Dragonair just grinned sadistically in response. "So you DO remember. You never returned you know. Never wrote or called." It's tail started lashing back in forth.

"Aurasky, you know it's not my choice what Memma chooses to do with me." Ash said seriously. "Did you choose to become like this because I left?"

Aurasky just snorted. "Of course not. But who could deny the sheer power that I was given? No normal Pokemon could stand against me now."

"Dragonair, enough talk." "We are here to destroy and obey our Masters only." The two headed dark dragon spoke from beside the Shadow Dragonair.

"Is this boy actually TALKING to Dragonair?" Cassidy said, looking confused.

"Either that or he's gone crazy with all the stress. Not that I blame him." Butch said with a smirk.

"Big sister! Big sister!" A familiar smaller voice suddenly shouted and sounded urgent.

Ash and Yellow gasped when they saw it was the Dratini from earlier, she came slithering in and looking at the older and evolved counterpart. "Big sister! Don't you remember me? It's me, your little sister Aliana! I've been worried about you since you suddenly went missing three months ago!"

Aurasky looked down at the little Dratini. "Aliana. What a pleasant surprise. You should leave if you know what's good for you, of course. But then again, you never had much common sense." She began laughing maniacally.

"B-big sister? W-why would you say that?" The Dratini, called Aliana, said in shock.

"Dratini, get out of here! Aurasky's been converted into a Shadow Pokemon!" Ash said to the Dratini. "She's not the same sister you once knew!"

"Hmph, what a sucker, a Dratini let itself be revealed because we have a relative of it. Should we catch it?" Butch said to his partner in crime.

"Eh, why not? Another Dragonite could always do Team Rocket some good." Cassidy said with a smirk.

"No, leave the Dratini alone!" Yellow hissed. "I've had just about enough!" She tossed a different kind of Poke Ball that Ash had seen before. It looked similar to the standard Poke Ball, with the red and white, but it also had a lightning bolt on top of the red, almost like a Fast Ball that one would make out of a White Apricorn found in Johto. "It's time you face my first partner!"

Yellow threw the lightning bolt Poke Ball and it popped open, releasing a familiar shape. Ash and Storm both stared at the Pokemon that came out. It was a Pikachu. This Pikachu had a dent at the tip of its tail, indicating that it's female.

"Whoah. I wasn't expecting another Pikachu." Storm said in slight shock. His eyes seemed glued to her. He just couldn't look away, and he had no idea why. But he simply attributed it to the fact that he, as he'd said, was not expecting to encounter another of his kind since his capture by Professor Oak.

The Dratini looked like she was in shock. She wasn't moving, and she kept staring at the Shadow Dragonair. Ash frowned at this, before he said to Storm, "Come on, we've got to teach to these guys a lesson."

The male Pikachu blinked before nodding to Ash. "You can count on me." Storm walked in front of Ash, sparking his cheeks to show he was ready for battle.

Cassidy and Butch just looked on with evil grins. "If this waterworks show is over, we have a fight to win. Dragonair, Shadow Sky!"

Without hesitation, the blue orb on the Shadow Dragonair's neck and the orbs on its tail began to glow, but it was a shadowy, sinister dark glow that made Ash and Yellow cringe. It sent a bright purple beam into the sky, and unnatural dark purple clouds began covering the blue sky. Soon dark needle-like purple rain came pouring down onto the battlefield. Ash hissed as he felt the unnatural rain hit his skin, it was like being hit with sharp acid.

This hurts… what kind of rain is this? Ash thought to himself as he noticed Yellow, Storm and her Pikachu all cringing as well, they looked like they were in as much pain as he is from this shadow rain. The Dratini beside him was cringing too, but she was still in too much shock to show much else.

The boy looked at Butch and Cassidy, neither of them seemed bothered by this shadow rain. How is this not hurting them?

Butch had a cocky grin on his face. "Nice one, Cassidy," he commented to the side as he turned to Ash and Yellow. "Shadow Sky is a weather altering Shadow move that hurts anyone the user doesn't like. That would be you twits and those little yellow rats."

"Ash, we better attack fast, this Shadow Sky is going to knock us out quickly." Yellow said while trying to fight through the pain.

"A-alright. Storm, use Thunder Wave on that Zweilous!" Ash quickly said.

The male Pikachu's cheeks sparked as he let loose a wave of electricity, it easily zapped the Shadow Zweilous and paralyzed it. But it didn't seem to care that it was paralyzed, and neither did Cassidy or Butch. "Now, attack it with Iron Tail!"

Storm ran at the Zweilous, his tail taking on a smooth silver sheen. "TAKE THIS!" He slammed his Iron Tail at the two headed dark dragon, hitting one of its heads.

"Shadow Rave." Butch ordered with a smirk.

Zweilous immediately threw Storm off its head and gave a roar as it stomped on the ground. The Pikachu's eyes widen as he saw shadowy aura on the ground coming towards him.

"Storm get away from that!" he heard Ash yelling.

Another shadowy aura on the ground was coming to Yellow's Pikachu. "Pikachu, get out of the way!"

But neither of them could escape it. The shadow aura reached both Pikachu and shadow spikes popped out, piercing them. It didn't leave a visible wound, but it was enough to cause both of them to yell out in pain. Yellow's Pikachu glared, she was hurt but far from out of the fight. Storm on the other hand didn't look so good, he was wobbling and looked ready to pass out, he hadn't recovered very well from Hunter J's battle.

"S-Storm…" Ash frowned in worry for his partner.

Cassidy gave the two absolutely no time. "Shadow Rush! Finish off that puny rat!"

"Aurasky, don't!" Ash begged his old friend.

Aurasky didn't seem to listen nor care, and she didn't hesitate to charge at the weakened Storm as her body was covered in a dark aura. She slammed into Storm, sending the little Pikachu flying back several feet. Ash felt his heart stop for a second as he watched his friend get sent flying. He wasn't sure if Storm survived such a painful direct hit like that especially with the shadow rain going on.

"STORM!" Ash ran to catch fallen Pikachu.

"Can't believe he got taken out so quickly." Yellow's Pikachu frowned.

Yellow frowned worriedly at Ash and Storm. The boy managed to catch Storm but he was not only unconscious; he was in bad shape.

"Storm! Storm, are you okay?" Ash bit his lip. There were multiple wounds on Storm's body from the Shadow Sky, and a big one over his head from being slammed by Dragonair. "Storm…" Ash hugged the Pikachu against his chest, trying to keep him out of the shadow rain.

Yellow hurried over to Ash and Pikachu while Butch and Cassidy were laughing about the boy's sentiments for a little rodent that lost.

"What a crybaby. If your Pokemon is too weak to win, don't cry over it. Just get better ones." Cassidy said.

"Don't listen to them Ash. Storm will be okay." She said with a determination in her eyes as she held the unconscious Pikachu's paw.

Butch laughed uproariously. "Didn't I tell you that you had no chance? This fight is ours!"

Ash didn't pay them any mind. He was watching Yellow's hand glowing a strange yellow aura over Storm's paw and body. "What are you doing?"

"It's a technique I learned from my family." Yellow answered softly. "It's used for emergencies. Storm should be fine now, he just needs to rest up a bit."

Ash nodded to her, still not sure what she just did. But whatever that was, it looked like some kind of aura… can she use aura? I've heard some humans can master aura. The boy set the unconscious Pikachu down beside him before looking up. This Shadow Sky isn't letting up.

"Well now, do you want to call it quits before we have to knock you out and steal your Pokemon from your bodies?" Butch smirked.

Ash glared at them as he held out a red Cherish Ball. "How dare you hurt Storm like that. You could've killed him! This time I won't show any mercy. Scorch, you're up!" The boy threw the Cherish Ball as it released a shiny Charmeleon.

Scorch let out a battle roar and the flame on her tail blazed as if sensing her Trainer's anger.

Cassidy and Butch smiled greedily. "A shiny Charmeleon… Heh, looks like the boy actually evolved that puny little Charmander." Butch stated. "That would certainly fetch some favors from the higher ups."

"Yes, it certainly would." Cassidy responded. "Dragonair, Shadow Panic!"

Aurasky's horn glowed with a malicious purple aura as she released a strange beam that kept spinning and spiraling around. The strange energy soon split in two as they began surrounding Yellow's Pikachu and Scorch.

Scorch glared before she spun around with her tail. The fire on her tail began spreading around with tiny sparks, burning the purple energy wave that was surrounding her. Yellow's Pikachu wasn't so lucky, it slammed into her face and her eyes went dull.

"Pikachu?" Yellow called.

The Pikachu looked around before she began slapping herself. Ash frowned at this. "That thing confuses Pokemon. Scorch, we need to end this battle now. Use Dragon Rage!"

"They deserve what's coming to them." The golden Charmeleon hissed before she released a blue energy that turned into a shape of a dragon. The Dragon Rage itself roared as it chomped down on the Shadow Dragonair in vengeance.

Aurasky reeled back and snarled at Scorch. "You pest! That actually stung!"

"Return the favor with Shadow Rush!"

Aurasky continued snarling at the Shiny Charmeleon as her body became surrounded with dark, sinister energy and she charged at her foe with astonishing speed.

"Look out!" Ash yelled.

Scorch stood her ground as Aurasky slammed into her, however, the Charmeleon took the attack before grabbing the Dragonair's neck and spinning her around. Ash watched in astonishment as Scorch threw the Shadow Dragonair right into the Shadow Zweilous.

"Was that Seismic Toss?" Ash said in shock. "Wow, you learned how to use Seismic Toss?"

Scorch looked back at him with a smile before glaring at the two Team Rocket members, who looked just as shocked as Ash was about this.

Pikachu shook her head as the confusion finally wore off, Yellow smiled. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt now!"

Pikachu's cheeks sparked as she charged up electricity before releasing them unto the Zweilous, causing both heads to roar out in pain.

"We're NOT losing to these brats!" Cassidy snapped angrily. "Shadow Rush now!"

"Use Shadow Rave!" Butch demanded.

The two Shadow dragons were still able to fight. They both did as their Trainers ordered. Dragonair's body was covered in sinister dark aura as she charged. Zweilous was sending shadow spikes underground at both Scorch and Pikachu.

Both Pikachu and Scorch were caught up in the Shadow Rave as the dark spikes pierced their bodies but not leaving any wounds and Dragonair Shadow Rush right into Scorch. Pikachu fell to the ground in pain. Scorch rolled on the ground and groaned, the flame on her tail getting weaker.

"They're still too strong." Yellow hissed as the Shadow Sky began clearing up.

Ash gritted his teeth, trying to figure out what else to do when he caught glimpse of Blue coming out of the aircraft just behind Cassidy and Butch. "Yeah, but I think our work here is done."

A Poliwag came out of the water and ran over to them. "Ash, we need to get out of here! There's a bomb about to go off!"

Ash looked at the Poliwag before he quickly recognized it was Mew. "What? A bomb?"

Dratini still hadn't moved since her talk with Shadow Dragonair, but she seemed to blink a bit. "But… our home…"

Butch and Cassidy suddenly returned their Shadow Dragon types. "We don't have time to waste here anymore." Butch said.

"We'll just leave you alone to cry." Cassidy said. "We've got important business to attend to, and you're just wasting our time brats."

Blue jumped out of the aircraft and glared, "You're not going anywhere."

"What? Hey you! Get out of our way!" Cassidy snapped at him.

"Well Cassidy, it's been a while." Jessie spoke up from behind Blue as she, James and Meowth revealed themselves.

Cassidy snorted. "Well, well, if it isn't cherry hair. The boss isn't going to like this, you know."

Jessie got a tic mark. "Who are you calling cherry hair?!" She shouted, as James and Meowth attempted to restrain her.

Cassidy smiled. "Aw, does poor Jessie feel hurt at my mean wittle insult?"

"I'll have you know that my hair is very stylish, unlike yours miss yellow spiky banana!" Jessie snapped.

"Don't you have anything better to do than you hang around here?" James frowned at the other two competition.

"Yeah, like stealing some Pokemon back in the city or something?" Meowth hissed.

Blue frowned at them, "This is no time to be fighting, we've done what we came to do. This aircraft won't be flying any time soon and the Pokemon are free."

Cassidy snarled, reflecting Butch's current expression. "What kind of insult is that?" She asked Jessie. "A kindergartner could come up with better. But you never were very bright were you."

Butch just chuckled. "Look who's talking. What do two broke washouts have to say to us?"

Ash quickly returned Scorch into her Cherish Ball as Yellow did the same with her Pikachu. Ash picked up Storm and hurried over to Blue, "Blue, we should get out of here. There's a bomb under water!"

"A what!?" Blue suddenly turned pale.

There was a sudden tremor in the earth, making it hard to stay stable. Ash looked around. "What's going on?"

"It seems one of our bombs went off nearby." Cassidy said after cutting off her argument with Jessie.

The Dratini squealed before slithering to them. "What have you done!? You're going to destroy this place!"

"You two are mad." Blue hissed at Butch and Cassidy.

"We'll never get out of here before it blows at this rate!" Ash yelled.

"It's too late!" The Mew-Poliwag suddenly shouted. "Brace for impact!"

As if on cue there was a loud beeping sound before the entire zone was covered in fiery explosion. Mew, wanting to protect her child from the brunt of the explosion, covered Ash in a Psychic shield, but it wouldn't be enough to keep the force from sending him and the others sky high. Ash, without thinking, threw his Safari Ball at the Dratini in an attempt to save it from the explosion, and grabbed the ball as soon as the Dratini was inside. He dove and hugged his Pikachu tightly as he hit the ground.

Ash couldn't tell what was happening. There were explosions everywhere and the next second he was somewhere in the sky. The boy was disorientated, he couldn't tell what's happening. How is he not completely scorched or vaporized from the explosion? He supposed he had Mew to thank for that. Unfortunately, this didn't stop him from blacking out altogether while still being somewhere in the sky.

"ASH!" The boy heard Blue yelling for him as he closed his eyes.

The whole bomb thing came out of nowhere. ^^' Someone suggested it was the best way to end the battle since Ash and Yellow were in a battle they can't win. But I think I may work without co-writers for a while. Anyways, this chapter had a lot of action in it and Ash caught a Dratini finally! :D I hope you're all excited for the next chapter. I am DarkFoxKit and I will try to answer your questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
