Narrator POV
(A few days later)
Cat and Robbie sat on his bed watching a movie. Cat was in his lap, her back against his chest as he hugged her from behind. They were watching the Breakfast Club, one of both of their favorites.
And of course, Robbie couldn't help but be cute and through the entire movie he would whisper sweet things into her ear or softly kiss her neck, making her giggle.
Cat giggled again as Robbie kissed her neck. She smiled before poking is socked foot with hers. He did it back, getting more giggles out of her. Before they knew it they started a full on footsy war.
Cat giggled as Robbie trapped her foot in between both of his.
"Hey! That's cheating!" She laughed, repeatedly poking his foot with her free one, trying to set her other one loose.
Just then, Robbie's phone, which was in his front pocket, began to vibrate. Cat giggled as it vibrated against her butt.
"Hehe it tickles…" She giggled.
Robbie laughed, digging in his pocket to retrieve his phone. As soon as he saw the number he smiled.
"I'll be right back baby, I gotta take this." He said, sliding her off of him.
She giggled, kissing his cheek. "Want me to pause the movie?" She asked sweetly.
"Nah it's almost over anyway." He smiled before leaving the room.
He quickly made his way into the bathroom downstairs (not wanting Cat to overhear) before answering the phone.
(A/N: You can't hear what the "other person" is saying, only what Robbie is saying)
"H-Hello?" He said nervously.
"Yes this is Robbie."
"Yeah, she's been really upset about it."
"R-Really? You can?" Robbie smiled.
"That's awesome! She'll be so happy."
"Yes, thank you."
"Anything for her." He smiled.
"Alright so now you have my number. I'll call you when everything is set up."
"Nice talking to you too. Bye." Robbie hung up the phone before jumping around with joy.
His plan was actually going to work. He bolted out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to find his mom at the counter.
He ran up to her, hugging her excitedly.
"What's up with you?" She laughed, hugging him back.
"He called!"
"He did? So your plan is going to work! I'm happy for you sweetie!" His mom gushed, hugging him again.
"I know I can't wait to see Cat's face. She's going to be so happy." Robbie smiled.
"You love her so much." His mom smiled.
He nodded. "She's my princess. I would do anything for her…" He said softly, his gaze falling on the screen saver of his new phone.
It was a picture his mom took of them one night. He was goofily sitting on Cat's lap while she wrapped her arms around his torso, both of them sticking their tongue out to the camera.
"Robbie!" Cat called from upstairs.
Robbie smiled at his mom before darting back up to his room.
"Hi." She giggled, sitting on his bed, looking at him innocently. "The movie ended."
"I see." He chuckled, going over to sit next to her.
She instinctively crawled over to him, cuddling into his side as he wrapped an arm around her.
"Who was on the phone?" She asked.
"Surprise." He smirked, poking her nose.
Cat pouted playfully before kissing his cheek.
"Wanna go out?" Robbie asked suddenly.
"Out where?" She giggled.
"I don't know. To get ice cream or something. Shopping I don't know let's just go out." He smiled at her.
"Okay." She said, grabbing his hand and her purse before they headed down stairs.
"Where are you guys going?" His mom asked as they made their way to the door.
"I figured we could go shopping or to the park or something." Robbie smiled, squeezing Cat's hand.
"Okay but be back by six for dinner."
"Okay."
And with that they were out the door and in Robbie's new sports car.
"So where to?" Cat asked, linking her fingers with his.
"I was thinking we could do some window shopping and get some ice cream on Melrose?" He asked, looking over at her for a split second before looking back over to the road.
"Okay!" She said excitedly.
After about a 20 minute drive, Robbie found an empty spot to park on Melrose. It was a nice day. It was about 86 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, a gentle breeze here and there.
It was perfect for window shopping and some ice cream, Robbie thought.
They got out of the car, hand in hand as they walked down the sidewalk. They walked passed a variety of different stores. Pear stores, clothing stores, shoe stores, pet stores. Everything. Cat smiled and bounced around, excited at everything she saw.
Robbie practically had to pull her away from the pet store before bought a puppy.
"Oh my gosh! Look at that dress!" Cat squealed, pointing to a store.
Robbie smiled as soon as she said that. It was just what he was hoping she would do.
"Robbie isn't that dress pretty?" He asked, tugging at his arm and pointing into the glass.
It was a pale pink dress that came about mid-thigh. It was strapless and had a whit ribben around the waist area, tying into a pretty bow.
"Yeah, it is." He smiled at it, knowing full well that Cat would look absolutely perfect in it. He quickly took note to what the store was called.
"Come on, let's go get ice cream." He smiled, grabbing her hand as they made their way to the ice cream polar.
…
(One week later)
Finally, the day had come.
The daddy daughter dance.
Cat had been sulking all day. Every time she walked through the hall ways and saw all the decorations up all ready, stung her in the heart.
Robbie had been unusually happy and giddy, only annoying Cat. She didn't know why he was so happy.
After and long day at school, Cat smiled for the first time when she walked through the door of Robbie's house.
Cat went to the fridge, pulling out a big tub of ice cream. Robbie chuckled lightly.
"Be right back." He excused himself.
Cat heard him go upstairs and talk to his mom. She couldn't really make out what was being said, but she didn't like to ease drop anyway.
After multiple spoonful's of ice cream, Cat put it away before heading to the couch. Robbie came downstairs moments later.
"So are you excited?" He asked from the kitchen.
"Excited for what?" She groaned, getting up to join him.
"The dance."
Cat was confused. Had he listened to her at all over the past two weeks?
"Robbie I'm not going to the dance." Cat said annoyed, looking at him with a cross look.
"Why not?" He asked, dumbfounded as he turned to face her.
"That's not funny Robbie." She growled.
"What's not funny?" He asked.
"You know what I'm talking about! Stop being an ass hole." She spat.
"I just asked why you weren't going-"
"YOU KNOW WHY! I don't have anyone to go with!" She yelled.
"What about me?" Someone asked from behind her.
She spun around at the sound of his voice. Her eyes started to water immediately.
"Beck?" She croaked, unable to believe that he was actually standing in front of her.
"Robbie called my producers saying he needed to talk to me. He said you were upset you didn't have anyone to go with." He smiled widely at his sister.
Cat looked back and forth from Beck to Robbie.
"I-I-…yeah…" She whispered, still standing there.
"Well…?" Beck chuckled, holding his arms out to her.
She ran into them, hugging him as tight as she could and letting her tears fall.
"I-I missed y-you so m-much…"
"I-I missed you too Cat…" Beck smiled, kissing her hair.
"How long did you know you were coming?" He asked, wiping her eyes and letting go of him.
"For about a week."
Cat was shocked. She looked to Robbie.
"Surprise?" He smiled warmly at her.
Cat smiled, lunging herself at her boyfriend. "I love you…" She whispered in his ear before grabbing his hand and pulling him to Beck.
"Beck, this is my boyfriend Robbie." Cat said proudly.
"We've spoken before." Beck smiled intimidatingly, holding his hand out.
"Nice to finally meet you." Robbie smiled nervously, shaking his large, strong hand.
Cat giggled at how nervous Robbie got.
"Robbie he's just my big brother, not a monster." She giggled, hugging Beck.
"Well, first impression always counts." Robbie pointed out.
"No need for that." Beck smiled, patting Robbie on the shoulder. "You went through all the trouble of getting me here, just to make my little Cat smile. You already impressed me." He smiled.
"Yay!" Cat squealed, clapping her hands together. "Oh! You should meet his mom! She's really nice! Annabelle!" Cat called upstairs.
The next few hours were spent with Cat and Beck catching up and Beck getting to know Robbie some more. Robbie was still nervous at first, wanting Beck to like him, but Beck seemed pretty fond of Robbie. Robbie noticed how similar Beck and Cat were. Always smiling and seeing the good in people, even if you don't fully know them.
Robbie couldn't seem to stop smiling that night. The more they all talked together the more Cat seemed to talk so highly of Robbie. Telling Beck about how sweet he was, all the nice things he does. Robbie just held her hand under the table, not ever wanting to let go of it.
"So how long have you two been together?" Beck asked, smiling at the two.
"Almost four months." Robbie smiled.
"And counting!" Cat chimed.
"I do have to thank you both." Beck smiled, looking over at Robbie and his mom. "For taking care of Cat when I couldn't. I've never seen her so happy." He smiled at her.
"Well that smile, is all Robbie." His mom chuckled.
"I can tell." Beck laughed. "Thanks for making her happy." Beck smiled at Robbie.
"Well I love her, if she's happy, I'm happy…" Robbie said sincerely, looking down at Cat would was hugging his arm.
"Robbie…" Cat blushed, giggling lightly.
"Look at the time. You guys should probably start getting ready for the dance." His mom said, looking over at the clock.
"Oh, true. Well I'll go to my hotel and get ready and come back to pick you up." Beck smiled, getting up before hugging everyone then leaving.
"Wait…" Cat said in realization. "I don't have a dress to wear." She pouted, disappointed.
"Yeah you do." Robbie smiled as his mom came out with a dress.
It was the same dress Cat had pointed to a week ago when they went window shopping.
"W-What? Robbie you bought it for me?" She asked, dumbfounded.
He nodded.
Cat leaped at him, hugging him tightly. Out of impulse she began to kiss his face affectionately.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She said happily in between kisses, forgetting that his mom was standing right there.
"Cat, honey, you can thank Robbie later. You're going to be late." She chuckled, holding out the dress.
"Yeah…later." Cat whispered before giggling and grabbing the dress, darting back upstairs.
…
"Cat? I'm here!" Beck called to her.
"Coming!" She piped, skipping down the stairs.
"You look beautiful." Beck and Robbie said simultaneously, causing them both to laugh.
"Thank you." Cat blushed, kissing both of them on the cheek.
"You ready?" Beck asked, holding out his arm.
She nodded happily.
"Have fun." Robbie smiled as she blew him a kiss before they walked out the door.
…
The dance was everything Cat had hoped. It was perfect. It felt like forever since her and Beck had seen each other. They had written to each other over the time he was gone, but nothing could compare to actually being able to hug him again.
"I missed you so much." Cat said as they danced to a song.
Cat ad one hand on his shoulder, the other holding his tightly. His other hand on her hip.
"I missed you too." He smiled. "Robbie is as nice as you explained him in your letters." Beck chuckled.
Cat smiled dreamily. "I love him Beck, so much."
"I can tell. You think he might be the one?"
She nodded. "I know he's the one."
"Good. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." He smiled, kissing her head.
"I'm happy when you're here…" She said softly.
He sighed. "I know. But hey, I've been in more than just one play over the past few months. I've been making good money. Soon enough, once my name gets out there, maybe I can get a real acting role, here in L.A."
Cat thought about it for a moment. "I guess you're right." She smiled lightly. "When do you have to go back?" She asked.
"Sunday. But hey, we can hangout all tomorrow."
"Okay…" She smiled sadly before resting her head on his shoulder.
…
Cat was home from the dance and with Robbie in his room. She was currently on top of him in his bed, straddling his waist.
She had come home from the dance and told him all about it. After that, she decided to 'thank' him for everything.
"I love you so so so much…" She breathed, kissing him tenderly.
"I know Cat…" He chuckled. "I love you too."
"No Robbie you have to be the best boyfriend ever. I can't believe you surprised me and got Beck to fly all the way here!" She gushed with excitement, unable to hold back her emotions as she attacked his face with her lips again.
Robbie sat up, continuing to kiss her. He wrapped his arms around her torso tightly, separating from her to bury his face in her neck.
"I don't like it when you're that upset…" He mumbled before looking back up at her eyes. "It scares me." He said sincerely.
Cat just responded with a gentle kiss, gently stroking his cheek.
"Oh! Guess what we're doing tomorrow!" Cat said suddenly.
"What?" he chuckled.
"Beck's coming over and I'm going to invite Rex, Jade, Tori and Andre and we're gonna have a big pool party!" Cat smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"That sounds like fun." He smiled at her excitement, kissing her cheek.
"Beck really likes you by the way." She mentioned.
"He does?" Robbie asked hopeful.
She nodded. "I told him that I loved you and that you were the one…" She blushed. "He said he could tell just by the way we look at each other that we are in love." Cat smiled.
There was a long silence as Cat and Robbie just stared into each other's eyes adoringly.
"It's true." Robbie said suddenly, causing Cat to jump a little.
"What's true?" She asked.
"That I'm in love with you." He said cheekily.
Cat giggled, pressing her lips to his again.
A/N: A lot more Beck in the next chapter! Review loves! :D
