I would like to send a thank you to amyytayy14, megfurtado, and LorettyLauren93 for the ideas and inspiration for my writing.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything Supernatural. That belongs to Kripke. I only own Caitlyn, Dr. Matherne, and any other OC characters.
Caitlyn's POV
I can't look at Sam like this. My brothers have been through enough. I walked out of my room, and wandered down the hall and down the stairs. I walk into the emergency room, and I look at all the chaos that has entered through here. So much shouting and howls of pain being exposed for the public to hear. I hear machines beeping out of control, and I look to my right, and see a young woman about my age dying. Doctors and nurses were doing everything they can to resuscitate her.
"Clear!" shouted the doctor, and her body was zapped into the air and back onto the bed. "Continue CPR!"
I saw a figure hovering over the poor girl's body, and soon whooshed right past me. I looked to see where it was heading to next and as I turned back to the area, they just stopped.
"No, don't stop!" I shouted, angrily. "Keep trying!"
"Time of death: 12:30 PM."
Is that what I think that was, I feared. A reaper? It can't be.
I walked down the hall, and I see a woman screaming like a banshee as her husband was holding her up. She was falling apart over looking at a young man's body.
"NOT MY BABY!" She wailed, "OH GOD PLEASE!"
My heart was breaking in to for this woman. And the man was trying to pull it together for her, and I saw a single tear fall.
I had to get away, just too many painful memories in hospitals. I can't stand the deaths, the pain, the suffering of other people who didn't deserve this kind of fate.
It seemed like I was walking forever, and I came across a nursery of newborns. I went inside the nursery, and the crying of the babies were louder than I thought they were. But nonetheless, they are just too adorable.
For a moment, it looked like this one baby was looking straight at me. For a moment it just cooed, and then the next there was a small smile on that pudgy face.
"You were brought into a world not knowing that it may end very soon." I said to it, sadly.
"I am surprised on how good you are with children." said a feminine voice.
That voice is familiar to me. I turned and found the one being I despise more than any other bastards and bitches I fought.
"Hello Tessa."
Dean's POV
I was leaning against the wall in Caitlyn's dark room with monitors beeping and a machine pumping air into her lungs; this just made my body numb. I feel useless just looking at her.
Did she feel this way when I was in her place? I asked myself.
"I remember when you were a little girl, you were probably around four years old. Sam and I we…we came back from this one hunt with dad. Missouri was watching you at the time, and man that woman adored you. Anyway, this hunt was the worst one because we lost an innocent person we were protecting…I went straight to the room I was staying in and went straight to sleep…and I heard you crying" I paused feeling a lump grow in my throat, slowly walking towards her bed. "I didn't realized I yelled at you, and I just went straight to sleep." I stopped for a moment to collect myself as I sat down in the empty chair next to her. "I woke up the next morning, I found that teddy bear you used to carry everywhere you went, I think his name was Buddy, laying right next to me. I found you at the kitchen table and you told me, Buddy saw you sad, and he wanted to keep you company." I paused for a moment to wipe the tear running down my cheek then placed my hand over my mouth to cover the choke that was about to escape. "Well I'm here now, Caitlyn. I thought you could use the company." I said gently, and then my tone changed to an angry tone. "You have been strong since you were sixteen, don't stop now."
A cough was heard from behind me, and saw Sam standing in the doorway, with red rimmed eyes.
"I thought you hated chick flick moments." Said Sam, with his cheeks showing dried tear streaks.
I turned away, and wiped his tears, "Dude, how long have you been standing there?"
"Just enough"
I noticed something was off about Sam. I've never seen Sam like this since the night I was about to be taken to Hell.
"Sam, what is it?"
"I went to the cafeteria, and a nurse gave me something that Caitlyn had with her, and…this was stuffed in her clothes." Said Sam choking on his words.
He pulled my hand out, and placed the item in my hand. I opened my hand and saw my old amulet. The one that Sam gave me that one Christmas all those years ago; the one I just threw away in the trash a couple of weeks ago. I tightly held onto the necklace and put it up against my forehead, squeezing my eyes closed tightly as a single tear escaped me.
"I'm gonna kill this son of a bitch."
"We will, Dean." Sam vouched.
A knock on the door was heard from behind us. And the doctor was standing in the doorway. "Hello boys."
"Doc, any word on Caitlyn's improvement?"
He shook his head, "No, I'm sorry. Her vitals are decreasing, and she has yet to show signs of breathing on her own, and...I'll be damned."
He had a shock look on his face. As much as I hated to let go of Caitlyn's hand, I got up and outside her room, was Bobby wheeling his way over.
"Bobby Singer."
"Marvin Matherne." Bobby said, surprised. "How bad is she?"
"Whoa, wait a minute, you two know each other? And Bobby how did you get to New Orleans?" Sam motioned his index fingers at each of the them.
"Yes, uh, Bobby saved my life during Hurricane Katrina." Marvin remembering, "Mermaids were released when the levee broke. I was at home with my wife. We tried to escape, but I was the only one that managed to escape, until one of the mermaids pulled me under. I couldn't believe my eyes that this thing was after me. You'd expect mermaids to be like Ariel, but not this stunning terrifying creature. Then a bronze spear pierced through her chest, I swam up and there was Bobby and this other man."
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What other man?"
"Now let's see...He was about your height, dark eyes, dark hair, scruffy facial hair, he had a silver wedding ring on his finger...John Winchester."
"Yes." I looked at me and Sam, "You must be Sam and Dean Winchester."
"Yes sir." We answered.
"Oh, please tell me that's not John's little girl." His look turned to despair as we replied with a simple nod.
"Well we can have a meet and greet later, but I need to know what the hell happened to her."
Marvin took off his glasses, and explained what happened to Caitlyn and what kind of injuries she had. By the time he finished, Bobby was at loss for words.
"However, her fever did go down, but everything else still remains the same. If she doesn't make any kinds of improvement, you may need to consider the inevitable."
Sam breathed in and out heavily, as I tried my best not to look at anyone. I turned and looked at Caitlyn, so lifeless, so helpless. She shouldn't be in there in this state. I can't lose her, I need her. I watched the machines breathe for her and her chest rise and fall in harmony with the beeping of the monitor and the cmachines pumping air into her lungs.
"Bobby, you didn't finish answering Sam's question."
"Dean called me yesterday, called Rufus, and he drove me down here ever since. Have you boys even left?"
"No."
"You boys go take a drive, and I'll stay with her. I'll call if something changes."
"I'm not going anywhere, old man." I spat out. And I noticed Sam standing taller than what he should have next to me.
"Same here."
"Look boys, if Caitlyn was awake she would tell you the exact same thing me and Marvin are trying to tell you."
Marvin pats me on the shoulder, "Listen to Bobby, kiddo. Just freshen up and go for a drive."
I looked at him in anger, and turned to find Sam sitting next to Caitlyn with his head next to her. Those two have always stayed together, unless if dad wanted her to stay behind on certain hunts. I could hear muffled cries out of him, and I felt this pain inside of me.
I walked into her room, and I heard him say, 'come back to me, twin.'
I placed a hand on his shoulder.
Sam whispers, "I don't know what to do."
I looked at him confused, "What are you talking about?"
"I feel like I'm not being a good brother right now. I left her in that psych ward, Ruby and Lilith situation, I'm letting her down over and over again. Its no wonder she hates me."
"Sammy, she doesn't hate you." I said, "Hell, I wasn't the favorite brother when I sold my soul for you. She's been there for us, and we gave her pain. Now, she here,..."
"I want her to come back, Dean." He whimpered.
"I know."
I noticed Sam stroking her hand and his thumb rubbing up and down her hand. "I want this guy dead; We're gonna get Adam back."
"We'll get him, that's a promise." I vowed. I didn't want to say anything about Adam yet.
I patted him, and motioned to leave. I saw Sam kiss her hand, and kissed her forehead. I looked at her motionless body, and it worried me that may never see her again. I walked over to her, and said "You come back to us, Caitlyn Marie. Time to wake up." I kissed her forehead, and leaned my forehead on hers.
We passed Marvin and Bobby, "You don't leave her sight." I instructed Bobby pointing a finger at him. "If anything happens to her,..."
"Boy, I'll let you know, good or bad."
"And there is this guy that's being hanging around Caitlyn, and I don't trust him."
I walked out the door next to Sam, and looked back at Caitlyn's room. Just stay alive, Caitlyn, I hoped, for me.
A/N: So what did everybody think? Don't forget read and review.
The next chapter will have bits and pieces of 'Hammer of the Gods', and I know some of you are wondering where Chris is, and he will make an appearance too.
