You're My Absolution Chapter 29
Sonic POV
After Amy and I got dressed I took her out on a date to a movie, but as soon as we left my phone went off. I opened in quickly thinking it might be Sally.
"Who is it Sonic?" Amy asked me as she came back from the bathroom.
"It's my sister actually. She just texted me to ask if we could come with her tonight to a karaoke bar."
"Oh. Well that would make sense, she's probably inviting Silver's dad too so she can audition for when Mina has her baby." Amy said which confused me.
"Um Amy, why would Silver's dad care, he's an accountant." I asked her.
"Did Silver not tell you yet? Shadow and Tikal are his biological parents."
"No, he didn't. I wondered why he didn't go with Blaze in her ambulance after the shooting. Anyway, are you up for it?"
"Sure, I've never had two dates in one day before. Well, with the same person that is."
"I'm not even gonna touch that one Ames. So, I'll call you when we're about to leave so you can get ready."
"Okay, see you later Sonic." Amy said, but I just stood there. "Um, are you going to leave?"
"Well, I think you forgot something." I said grinning at her.
"Oh Sonic, what am I going to do with you?" Amy said before giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"I don't know, love and care for me forever?" I said kissing her cheek back and then running off. I could hear Amy laughing in the distance and it made me smile as I ran home. I got there in about a minute, because I felt like taking it a bit slow, and when I opened the door the only person I saw was Sonia who was sitting on the couch working on her keyboard guitar.
"Hey Sonic, you look happy." She said looking at me.
"Well, sex with your girlfriend will do that for ya." I said with a cheeky grin.
"Um, not to be rude, but which one?" Sonia asked and I nearly facepalmed.
"Amy." I told her. "Oh, and she's in for the karaoke bar tonight. Who else did you invite?"
"Well, other than you and Amy, I was going to invite Silver and Blaze, and I invited Silver's parents if they can come."
"Am I seriously the last person to figure that out?" I asked rhetorically. "And speaking of Silver and Blaze, where are they?"
"They're both probably still in the bathroom unless they left without me noticing, which is possible." Yeah, sure it is. But good for them.
"Okay then. I'll be in my room trying to get in tune if you need me."
"Wait, do you by any chance have a screwdriver and a pitch pipe around here somewhere? My keytar is on the fritz and I'm going to take it apart some to fix it."
"Screwdriver yes, pitch pipe, not so sure. I'll look in my room for one, but no promises." I told her. Then I headed for my room but was stopped when the bathroom door opened in front of me. It was Blaze wearing only a towel who came out.
"Oh, sorry Sonic, I didn't know you were there." She said as she adjusted her towel up a bit.
"It's okay. Is Silver still in there?" I asked and she blushed a bit.
"Um yeah. He should be out soon if you need to talk to him." She answered as she went into Silver's room. And not a second after she closed his door the bathroom door opened again.
"Dude, you're home. How'd it go with Amy? You were gone for a while." Silver asked as he faced me.
"It was great, we had sex a few times, went to a movie, and the day isn't even done yet since Sonia invited us to a karaoke bar later tonight. She said you and Blaze are invited too and so are your parents."
"Cool. Hey wait, I haven't told you that yet."
"Amy told me. And I'm happy for you man. But what did you do to deserve shower sex, because I'm kinda jealous of you right now."
"Well, Blaze got a job today and she wanted to celebrate since I kinda helped her get it. But we kinda had to get creative since I was out of condoms."
"Me too, did you take my last one?" I asked him.
"No, because I was going to ask you the same thing. Sorry man."
"Nah, it's fine. So, you up for some off key singing tonight?"
"With or without your sister hitting on me the whole time?" He asked. But he seemed to already know the answer.
Silver POV
So, Blaze agreed with going to karaoke and we all piled into my car to go pick Amy up.
"So Silver, you get the radio in this car fixed yet?" Sonia asked as she opened the passenger side door to try to sit next to me. But Blaze sneaked in while she was distracted which I thought was hilarious, but Sonia looked a bit miffed.
"No, not yet." I said holding in a laugh as I got into the driver's seat.
"Then for Chaos' sake don't sing Dig at the bar, please!" Sonic begged.
"Don't worry, I won't." I assured him. Besides I usually try to find a song that fits my life at the current time. Anyway, we got to Amy's house around 7:45 and Sonic went in to get her. They came back and she sat in the middle of the back seat so she could talk to Sonic and Sonia at the same time.
"It's nice to see you again Sonia." Amy said cheerfully as I drove off to the karaoke place.
"Same here." Sonia told her. Then Amy whispered into her ear, but I could still hear it.
"Did you take my advice about getting over Silver?" She asked her and I felt good that Amy was my friend at that moment.
"I considered it, but I think I came up with something better." Amy's face went pale when she said that and I was worried again. But seriously, what could Sonia do, she doesn't know enough about Blaze to get her riled up. Anyway, when we got to the karaoke place Sonic and Sonia went in first, but Amy stopped me and Blaze from following them.
"Guys wait! I need to warn you about Sonia, I think she's going to do something bad."
"Don't worry Amy, I can handle anything she throws at me." Blaze said confidently. "But I do appreciate you worrying about me."
"But you don't understand, I accidentally told her about you working at the strip club."
"You did?" Blaze asked her.
"Yes, and I'm really sorry. She asked about what club you worked at and convinced me to tell her. Sonic heard about it too." Blaze took all this in silently and I put my hand on her shoulder.
"Are you okay Blaze?" I asked concerned.
"I think so." She told me and then she turned to Amy. "And Amy, I understand. It's kinda also my fault for putting you into a tough situation. I promise I won't do it again okay?"
"So, we're still friends?" Amy asked.
"Of course we are. You know, I'm starting to see why you and Silver dated, you both have very similar personalities."
"Well, I'll take that as a complement since you're in love with Silver, so thank you."
"You're welcome. Now let's go inside, it's been forever since I've done karaoke."
