Wow so I'd like to thank winterschild11, deanloverbabe, Franshes, annabellex2, Chey21, DeniseDEMD, and Sir RCCS for all taking the exra time to review.

Ok so I am going to apologize for this in advance. I don't know where this chapter came from, it's a bit random and I am just...I'm sorry.

Chapter 29: Ghosts

Adam was sitting in the living room watching Hank play with Miri, who scoot around in her walker. Mina was over visiting with him again, this time she brought Hank. Hand had given Adam a hug and told him he was happy he liked his picture. He was pretty articulate for a three year old. Adam was thinking about Cooper again.

"Stop it," Mina said. Hank was pushing Miri around and she was giggling. Adam smiled. Mina kept telling him to be careful.

"Stop what?" Adam asked his eyes still on his daughter.

"Thinking about Cooper, he just needs some time to realize what an idiot he's being," Mina said.

"I don't know what thought he's gotten into his head that makes him think he's not good enough," Adam said thoughtfully. "I mean…he's prefect, and before all this he really care about Miri. I know he still does, but he's…just…" Adam sighed.

"Quit it," Mina said, "give him some time and everything will be fine." she said.

"I just wish he wasn't being so stupid," Adam sighed.

"So, what were you talking about something with Jake?" Mina asked confused.

"Jake came to talk to me over the weekend, he told me that Cooper had gone to talk to him before we broke up. He told me he didn't tell Cooper to break up, but they kissed. Well I think Cooper kissed him, but I know Cooper, he'd never do it intentionally, if we could just talk…maybe we could work this out, but…" Adam sighed again.

"He's avoiding you?" Mina asked. Adam nodded his head. He looked over at Miri who was babbling happily while Hank was laughing and talking to her making her babble more.

"Yeah, he won't even look at me and it sucks," Adam whined. He leaned over and rested his head on Mina's shoulder. Mina's hand came up to his head. She stroked his hair gently. They sat there watching the kids. No words were needed right now.

"So, when does the trial start?" Adam asked after a bit.

"Two weeks," Mina said.

"How are things looking?" Adam asked.

"Really good on our part, with Blaine and Cooper testifying about how bad of dad he is and the other kids talking about how they never got to meet their dad, it looks really good," Mina said.

"That's good," Adam said looking at Hank. What he had heard of Carter Anderson, from Cooper and Blaine, he wasn't a good man. He was hard to please and had high standards. Hank didn't need that. He needed support and love, something the Carmichaels gave him and then some. Mina was practically his mother already.

"In two years I'll be off to college," Mina said softly. Adam looked over at her. "I don't know if I'll be able to leave Hank though," she said.

"There's always UCLA, that's where Jake is going and he's over all the time," Adam said.

"Yeah, but my parents were talking to me, if Tina doesn't come back by then, maybe I could adopt Hank, he calls me mom already," Mina said looking at the small boy.

"Really? How do you feel about that?" Adam asked.

"I love Hank, he's practically my son already," Mina said.

"That's a big thing to do Mina," Adam said.

"It's two year away, I've been helping raise him for three years already what's the difference other than legally he's my son," Mina said.

"I say go for it, I mean he's gonna need a mom and if you can give him that, then why not. I mean you love him and I can see that he loves you," Adam said. Mina smiled as she turned to look at Adam.

"I do love him," Mina said. Adam leaned over and gave her a hug. Mina hugged him back as well. She let go and they pulled back to look one another in the eyes. Adam blinked and before he knew it Mina leaned in and kissed him.

Mina jumped back quickly, her eyes wide as she stared at Adam. "Adam, I'm sorry I know you're-" she started. Adam silenced her with another kiss. Mina melted into the kiss and allowed Adam to lead. They parted once more resting their foreheads together.

"Adam you're gay," Mina said.

"Maybe I'm bi," Adam suggested. He couldn't deny that he didn't feel anything for Mina. She was a sweet girl and she had been there for him since he and Cooper had broken up.

"You're rebounding," Mina said shaking her head. She stood up and looked at Hank. "I think it's time for me to go," she said. Adam nodded his head. Mina walked over to Hank. Adam walked over to Miri and picked her up as well. "Say good bye to Miri, Hank," Mina said.

"Bye Me-wee," Hank said smiling at her. Adam grabbed Miri's arm and made her wave at Hank who smiled. Adam walked Mina to the door.

"I'll see you in school tomorrow," Mina said.

"Mina, I'm sorry," Adam said. Mina just gave him a small smile and left. Adam stood there staring at the door. He wasn't sure what had happened.

-Aftermath-

Kyle was sitting in his bedroom. He was working on some homework. He hadn't gotten busted at school for punching Cooper, since no one had been around a camera. He however had not been spared at home. Kendall and James had over heard the two telling Kyle he had been wrong and where Leora and Adam relayed everything to them after some bribery. Kyle had been told off and been sent to his room for the last few days.

"Kyle."

Kyle turned and looked to the doorway where Kendall and James were standing in the doorway of his bed room.

"Yeah dad," Kyle said.

"We'd like to talk to you," Kendall said not moving from his spot near the door.

"Ok," Kyle said turning away from his homework completely. He had a feeling he knew where this was going, but he wanted them to say.

"We know you're getting older," James said.

"Yeah, everyone does old man," Kyle teased.

"Kyle, this is serious," James said.

"Sorry, let's talk," Kyle said. Kendall and James walked into the room. James looked uncomfortable. Kyle knew neither of them wanted to do this so soon, but he was curious. Kyle wanted to know hoe to be safe and things like that.

"Ok look, we know you're dating Lilly and you're probably gonna want to do more, which you shouldn't, I mean, you should wait until you're old, but we can't have eyes on you all the time," Kendall said.

"Yeah," Kyle said.

"We can only hope you'll be smart and wait until you're ready," James said.

"I know and I will, but I believe it's better to be informed rather than not," Kyle said.

"Don't they have Sex-Ed in school?" Kendall asked.

"Not until health which is junior year," Kyle said.

"That late really? What do they think if they keep the information from you, you won't have sex?" James asked.

"I don't make the courses," Kyle said putting his hands up.

"Ok anyways, you know about condoms right," Kendall said.

"Yeah," Kyle said nodding his head. He knew about them and the basics of using them. He had never used one but it couldn't be that hard.

Kendall and James continued to talk and Kyle listened to them. They talked about being careful and listening to your partner. Kyle listened and asked questions when he was confused. Kendall and James answered them to the best of their ability. Kendall and James also told him not to just throw himself around like he didn't matter. Sex was something special you shared with someone special.

"Ok, now just remember Kyle, you can come to us with anything," Kendall assured his son.

"Yeah dad, I know," Kyle said nodding his head. "Oh and can Miles come ovre for the night? He just got a new game and needs some help." he said.

"Yeah, as long as Carlos and Logan say it's ok," Kendall said nodding his head.

"I know it's Saturday, but try to go to sleep at a reasonable time," James said. Kyle nodded his head with a smile. Kendall stood up and gave Kyle a hug. James did as well. They both left.

Kyle sat there, thinking about everything. He was glad he had gotten he talk, as awkward as it had been. He was a little more prepared incase the time arose. With the way Lilly was acting it seemed she was almost ready to take that next step with him. He was ready, he wanted to. He loved Lilly and wanted to share that bond with her.

-Aftermath-

Logan looked at Carlos silently begging him to not make him do this. He didn't want to talk to Lilly about sex. She was too young.

"It's better to inform her rather than not and have her make a mistake," Carlos said.

"I know, but she's too young and I swear to god if that boy touches her," Logan started.

"That boy is Kyle, Kendall and James' son," Carlos said.

"So what, he's still a boy and I know what boys think about, I was a boy once and I thought about it too," Logan said.

"Ah ha, you admit you thought with your dick," Carlos said earning a glare from his husband.

"Of course I did, I am male after all, after we got past that awkward stage in our relationship that's all I thought about," Logan said.

"You were only after sex?" Carlos asked.

"No, I loved you, I just wanted sex," Logan said.

"Typical male," Carlos muttered.

"Says the one who practically raped me in my sleep," Logan muttered.

"One time, and you wouldn't wake up," Carlos said glaring at Logan.

"Am I interrupting something?"

The two looked up and saw Lilly standing in the doorway of her bedroom. She must've heard them arguing.

"No, your father and I were just coming to talk to you," Carlos said with a smile.

"Ok," Lilly said slowly.

"Can we come in?" Carlos asked. Lilly retreated into her room. Carlos and Logan followed. Lilly sat down on her bed and Carlos sat down beside her. Logan stood in front of her.

"Ok mija, you've shown some interest in sex," Carlos started. Lilly blushed. His choice of words wasn't the best. "Well, now that you're on the pill," he started.

"That doesn't mean you can just throw yourself around and have sex whenever," Logan said.

"I know dad," Lilly said.

"What you dad is trying to say is, don't rush into it mija, wait until you're ready," Carlos said.

"Yeah, like when you're thirty," Logan said. He'd rather she never had sex and remained his baby girl forever.

"Until you're ready," Carlos repeated.

"Don't let that boy force you into anything either," Logan said pointing a finger at his daughter.

"He's not pressuring me dad," Lilly assured him.

"If he does, let me know," Logan said.

"Dad Kyle, is the perfect gentleman," Lilly said rolling her eyes.

"Ok, ok getting back on track here," Carlos said getting their attention. "Lilly always remember to use a condom too. Just because you're on the pill doesn't mean you shouldn't wear one. They protect you from not only unwanted pregnancies, but if you have other…partners STDs and stuff," he said slowly.

"Partners?" Logan asked nearly having a heart attack right there. "You're acting like she's sleeping around with the whole neighborhood," he said to Carlos.

"Oh will you stop, Lilly is a grown girl, she knows what to do and if she's in trouble she'll talk to us right mija," Carlos asked looking at his daughter.

"Yeah," Lilly said nodding her head. "You guys don't have anything to worry about, I haven't had sex yet, and just wanted to start the pill as a precaution, so I could be ready incase the time comes," she said.

"It won't, not until you're older, you really should wait," Logan said looking at Lilly. "Don't' listen to boys and what they say. They all want the same thing, trust me I should know I was a teenage boy once," he said.

"I really starting to doubt our relationship," Carlos commented dryly.

"Oh stop it, I love you," Logan said turning to his husband. "I'm just saying there is a point in every teenage boys life where all he thinks about is sex. I'm only telling her to be careful. Really Lilly, just be careful," he said.

"Speaking from experience here?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah, I thought Camille was the one and she wasn't," Logan said.

"But it was special wasn't it?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah, we both really care about each other," Logan said. He looked at his daughter. "Just don't waste it, you only have one first time," he said. Lilly nodded her head.

The finished talking to Lilly about sex and Lilly asked to go over to Leora's and pick her up to head to the mall. They let her go and headed to the living room for some peace and quiet.

"So, when did you and Camille do the deed? I mean I know you've talked about her being your first, but you guys dated on and off until you and I got together," Carlos said.

"The first time was about a year before you and I got together, we did it a couple of times, why does this matter, I chose you in the end," Logan said.

"A year?" Carlos asked, "isn't that around the time she got pregnant with…" he trailed off.

"No," Logan said shaking his head, "I mean yes, but no we did a DNA test. You have nothing to worry about Los," he said leaning over and pecking his husband on the lips.

-Aftermath-

Kendall made his way upstairs to the nursery. James was in the living room with Jenny and had sent Kendall to fetch some toys for her. Kyle had Miles over for the night and Leora was out with Lilly right now. She'd be back later. Adam was in the nursery with Miri. He had been up there ever since Mina had left. His kids were all growing up so fast.

Kendall walked into the nursery. Adam was sitting in a rocking chair with Miri in his arms. She was making small whining noises. She was almost asleep.

"You ok there, Adam?" Kendall asked looking at his son.

"I don't know," Adam said honestly.

"What's wrong?" Kendall asked walked over to him.

"I kissed Mina," Adam said slowly. He seemed unsure about it. "I didn't exactly hate it either," he added.

"You're rebounding," Kendall said shaking his head. He knew exactly what Adam was doing. He had done that after Jo had left him. "Throwing yourself at the first person to come along isn't a good thing Adam. Don't mess up your friendship," he said.

"What if it's more than a friendship though," Adam asked. Kendall looked at Adam. He sounded serious, but Kendall knew better. He had made that mistake before. You needed to grieve before you could more on and Adam still wasn't quite there.

"Don't Adam, unless you're one hundred percent sure, which I don't think you are," Kendall said.

"Why not?" Adam asked.

"You're not over Cooper, son don't do it. Give it more time," Kendall said. Adam nodded his head. What Kendall was saying made perfect sense. "Now you are going to apologize to that girl, because she has been nothing but nice to you," he said.

"I know and I have, and I will again," Adam said.

"Good," Kendall said. He moved over to the pile of toys that seemed to keep growing no matter how many toys Kendall gave away. He picked a few and left, leaving Adam alone once more.

Kendall made his way down to the living room. James was laying on the floor on his back holding Jenny above him. She was smiling and laughing. It wasn't a full on laugh yet, but that would come soon. Kendall smiled as he watched the two.

James brought Jenny down and started to blow small raspberries on her cheek making her smile harder. He then lifted her up and her eyes went wide before her smile returned. James repeated the process a few times. Each time Jenny smiled and let out a small half laugh.

"I've got some toys, but I can see you found something else to do," Kendall said walking into the room.

"Look Jenny, it's daddy," James said with a smile. He sat up as Kendall sat down next to him. He handed Jenny over to Kendall. Kendall smiled at his baby girl. She smiled big and Kendall's smile grew, if that was even possible. Just seeing her smile made Kendall smile. "Aw, she loves her daddy more than me," James said with a fake pout. Kendall nudged James lightly.

"She loves us both," Kendall said.

"Oh please, she smiles bigger when she sees you," James said.

"She loves you James, she just sees you more than me," Kendall said.

"True, but still I want that smile," James said tickling Jenny's cheek lightly. Kendall laughed and shook his head. James was so ridiculous some times.

-Aftermath-

"I'm serious," Kyle said slowly. Miles just looked at him like he had lost his marbles.

"Shut up," Miles said shaking his head.

"Serious about what? You're never serious."

Kyle and Miles turned to the doorway where Adam stood with his arms crossed. He looked curious as to what Kyle was talking about.

"Our house is haunted," Kyle said without missing a beat.

"Are you high?" Adam asked, looking at his brother like he was crazy.

"No, I'm being serious," Kyle said, "strange things have been happening."

"You're an idiot," Adam said shaking his head. He turned and walked away. Kyle just sent a glare in his direction.

"I'm serious though, things move around at night and I hear footsteps," Kyle said to Miles.

"Wow, maybe you should try and capture stuff on camera so then you can prove you're not nuts," Miles said.

"My thoughts exactly," Kyle said pulling out a camera from under his bed. "it's even got an IR setting for the dark," he said smiling.

"This is gonna be awesome," Miles said nodding his head.

The two continued to plan for what they wanted to do tonight after everyone fell asleep. Miles was game for helping Kyle get to the bottom of things. On the upside if there were ghosts they'd have a cool video.

-Aftermath-

Jake moved about the apartment cleaning up. Damien had gone out saying he had something he needed to take care of. Jake didn't mind, that gave him some time to clean and fix the place up. He also had some time to think some things over.

Jake couldn't' help but think about when Damien had purposed to him a few months ago. He was sure Damien would've done again by now. He knew his answer, he loved Damien and they were great together. He knew he wanted to spend his life with him. What worried Jake was that Damien had changed his mind. He was scared that Damien as trying to find the right time to break up with him.

No, don't think like that Jake. Damien loves you. Jake thought. He shook his head. He needed to get rid of those negative thoughts. Maybe Damien was just planning some elaborate. He had to have something planned that would take some time to get together, or maybe he had something planned for their anniversary.

Jake woke to someone nudging him lightly. He opened his eyes and saw Damien standing over him with a tray of breakfast food. Jake smiled and sat up.

"Happy Anniversary Jake," Damien said with a big smile. He set the tray over Jake's lap. Jake looked at the food and noticed the flower in the vase had a ring on it. He looked at Damien who smiled and picked up the flower.

"I know this isn't big or showy, but I love you Jake," Damien said with a smile. He held the flower out to Jake.

"Damien," Jake said with a smile.

"Like I said Jake, things with you just feel right. I know we're young, but I love you more than anything. I just want to be with you and show people that you are mine, so, will you marry me?" Damien asked. "And no maybe crap either," he added playfully. Jake laughed and nodded his head.

"Of course," Jake said pulling Damien to him and into a kiss. He grabbed the flower and pulled the ring off. He looked at it with a smile then to Damien once more. "I just wanted a little more romance than what you gave me last time," Jake said.

Jake slipped and nearly fell as he had been leaning on the broom handle. He blushed embarrassed that he let his fantasy take over. He was just glad that Damien wasn't here to see that. That did seem like a nice way for it to happen, and seemed like something Damien would do. Jake was eager to see what Damien had planned, but he wasn't sure when he'd actually do it.

-Aftermath-

Kyle and Miles had Kyle's camera set up in the kitchen. Kyle was sure he had heard the noises coming form the kitchen. This was where he wanted to base things. Everyone was already sleeping, so they had to be quiet.

"Ok, so it's after midnight and this is the first night of our ghost hunt," Kyle said into the camera.

"We're so ready to catch some ghosts," Miles said.

The two then sat down at the kitchen table and waited. Kyle looked around the dark and could make out some shapes, but nothing too distinct. They sat there for about a half hour before they heard anything. It sounded like someone walking in the hallway. They both just up as the kitchen light flipped on.

"Christ Kyle," Adam said his hand over his heart as he looked at the two. "You guys are idiots," he said.

"We thought you were a ghost," Kyle said.

"There are not such things as ghosts now go to bed," Adam said glaring at his brother. He walked over to the cupboard and got a bottle. He then proceeded to make a bottle for Miri.

"Just a minor set back, come on dude," Kyle said to Miles.

"Go to bed before you get in trouble," Adam said.

Kyle just stuck his tongue out at Adam. He left the kitchen, with Miles behind him. They headed back up to Kyle's bedroom. Kyle heard Miri crying, at least he assumed it was Miri since Adam was up making a bottle. Kyle stopped in his doorway. His room was messed up. He hadn't let if that way. The things from his dresser were on the floor and clothes were strewn about. He turned as he saw Adam coming up the stairs.

"Ha, ha so funny dude," Kyle said, "mess with Kyle because he's nuts," he said.

"What are you talking about?" Adam asked confused.

"You messed up my room," Kyle said.

"I didn't step foot into your bedroom," Adam said looking into his bedroom. "If I did I'd probably die from the smell," he added. He continued to the nursery.

Kyle and Miles shared a looked before their eyes went wide in shock.

"Dude, it's because we were in the kitchen," Kyle said.

"Wow, I guess you were right, not that I doubted you, but…well nothing happened down stairs," Miles said.

"Because it was happening up here," Kyle hissed. They walked into his bedroom. Kyle set the camera up once more. They then sat down and waited again.

There ya go, I just...*shakes head* this was so random, but I loved it. So Adam and Mina kissed. Adam's rebounding, but how does Mina feel? Kendall and James gave Kyle the talk and Carlos and Logan gave Lilly the talk. I liked the second one better. Kyle think that their house is haunted, is he right? Or is there another explanation. Jake can't wait for Damien to purpose (who forgot Damine purposed?) How will Damien purpose?
