Hello to those of you who are still reading this story. I don't have much to say except for my usual, "Enjoy the new chapter ". So, yeah.

Chapter?: Change

The raven neko stood outside the balcony that linked to his room and allowed his hair to sway by the gentle winds. His strikingly violet eyes stared at the alluring moon for he have done it ever since he returned home with his lover. The Queen assured the two of them that she'll keep an eye on Len during their absence because even she saw how much Kiro needed the sleep, and yet he couldn't. Mixed emotions filled his flexed body as he stood there in deep contemplation. Such concentration was disrupted once his ear twitched to hear footsteps walking over to him. So taking a quick glance to his left he saw the older blonde standing next to him with his hands held behind his back, staring out to the stars above.

"Tell me. What is it that's occupying your mind?" The blonde pipped up, keeping his eyes glued onto the moon. His lover remained silent for a while. He didn't know how to wrap the things on his mind into simple words. Although it took the Neko a while, Riku decided to speak until he get his words together. "Things are most certainly not what they use to be. Tis a shame how we've come down to fighting our own kind when there's larger matters than this." He began. "I was reading the papers and discovered that a group of humans took down a lone Vampire within the dark forest. Since it was near the Ice territory, an Ice Witch found the body before the man could fully die, and I couldn't help but think `That could've been my boy. No. ... That "Could" be my boy´"

It was then that the Neko snapped his head to face him. Riku was a civil and wise man towards every subject and topic. Kiro knew this far too well, and yet he was always taken aback when he heard him say such thing. `Humans killed a Vampire? When was all of this? Who was it?´ The thought roamed inside his scrambling head continuously. "He was a young man as well. About five hundred years old and his name was Usee." `I know that guy!´ Kiro's body stiffened for a second once he began to recall the person. `Him and his sister ran the only shop that sold human goods inside the open market. ... I can believe he was murdered.´

"What the hell was he doing out there by himself? I mean-" He then shook his head quickly and furrowed his brows. "That doesn't sound right. A vampire such as himself could've easily took them on or run away with his speed capabilities! It doesn't add up!" He half shouted. The blonde calmly nodded his head before switching his gaze from the moon to him. "I know it doesn't add. The committee is too focused on the King and his family affairs to the point our specie doesn't really bother to know the things outside of it. It's quite obvious that the humans developed a way or unit that can capture and kill a Vampire despite his or her capabilities. The Queen barely escaped isolation and yet she took notice of this faster than I thought. ... Once the King is dethroned, she must rule and stabilize the Vampire committee or else we'll all fall. Once the humans get through us, they'll then go for the wolves, then the witches, and so on and so forth. It'll become a domino effect that should never happen." Riku closed his eyes for a second and sighed. "Worry not. If we follow through with our plans, everything should be fine."

"I suppose." Kiro slightly rolled his eyes before letting out a light sigh. But that was till he was suddenly picked up by a strong set of arms. Immediately the neko wrapped his legs around his waist to balance himself. "R-Riku, what the hell are you doing?!"

"You're far too serious and tensed. Besides, since when was it bad to pick up a cute cat?" He mused, causing the neko to fluster incredulously and mumble `Shut up´. "Fiesty as a cat, yet horny as an Inu-" (Hiss! s.f.x.) Kiro bared his fangs as he hissed half-heartedly to the blonde. "Don't ever compare me to those disgraceful, good for nothing, ass sniffing mutts! You don't hear me comparing you to a wolf!" He complained and yet Riku chuckled in amusement. He knew just what to say to get him angry.

The two had the energy to upset, fight, or even do missions because their physical age was forever twenty-five, although Riku's physical age was twenty-six. Every vampires physical age stopped at a certain point. For naturally born vampires, their age stops between sixteen and thirty-five. For a human who was turned into one, their age stops at the age they were turned into one. Neko's were mostly on good terms with the Vampire specie due to their similarity and hate for he wolves, even though they hated Inu's more. Their lifespans were far too similar, yet unique. They were able to die easier than an average vampire, but their nine-lives made up for it. Luckily for Kiro, he hadn't died once.

"Riku, what will We do after all of this? As much as I want to deny it to the very depths of my heart, I know far too well that Len will no longer stay with us." Kiro stared deeply into Riku's eyes showing how serious he was with the question. "Do we continue being warriors? Or do we watch Len from afar?" Concern was easily picked up throughout his voice as he spoke and yet Riku remained calm as he sat the man down.

His golden brown eyes stared out to the stars once more as he said, "We run away and explore the world" Violet eyes widened once he uttered those words. "We'll do the things we've always wanted to do long ago. Adventure out and discover things no one else had. Go to ancient cities, collect anything with some sort of power or symbol, gather information from every specie in different countries, and have better connections with the Witches. As long as we have each other we're able to conquer anything that stands in our way. ... If our son need us, we'll know when to come back." The blonde lastly said.

`Our son? ... Riku.´ A wave of emotions swept through the Neko and yet he couldn't help but smile. So he stepped next to him and hugged his arm dearly as he leaned his head on the taller man's shoulder. "Riku. ... Since you say I'm like an Inu; is it okay if a screw you like one?" He then said, hiding any and all hints that he was joking. This had made he blonde turn silent because he was afraid to respond to such thing. He loved the neko dearly, but to be the one topped was something he literally had to rethink life about. Kiro saw this and began laughing hysterically. "I'm just kidding!"

Riku let out a sigh of relief and playfully punched him on the side. "If I were a human you would have given me a heart-attack. I most certainly hope you didn't teach Len your twisted sexual humour while you gave him the talk." And it was now Kiro's turn to turn silent. `Oh shit´ He thought nervously to himself and Riku saw that something was wrong with his partner. "Is there something wrong?" He questioned.

Kiro scratched the back of his head while averting his eyes towards the floor immediately. "Y-You see, Riku; I kind of have to talk to you about that." the blonde had then rose a brow at him and waited for him to continue. "Well I technically didn't expose him to anything ... sexual. So I guess you can say he's clueless?" "You didn't teach him about sex!? Are you fucking kidding me?!" The blonde immediately blew up right then and there.

The blonde would never blow up about anything, but something like this had done it for him.

Kiro flinched from the sudden raise of his voice and he knew fully that it was his fault for refusing to teach the boy anything along those lines. Even if he did, he wouldn't know anything about Len's preferences. Like whether the boy liked girls and if so, Kiro wouldn't have been able to teach him much because he was in love with Riku and only knew what type of sex he'd receive if Riku and him were to ever have sex, which they recently had. Kiro was clueless up until now of the boys preference. Even knowing, he still refused and now he felt utterly guilty about it. "I'm so sorry, Riku! I knew I should've told him as soon as I realized he liked that Damn Prince. ... I'm sorry." was the only thing he could really say.

Riku had only shook his head and grabbed him by the arm. "We have to go back and give him the talk now."

"Now?!- Wait!" Kiro tried to reason with him till the man quickly picked him up and began running towards the royal castle. `I dreaded that something like this was going to happen. I should've done it as soon as I knew!´
