Sunstreaker sighed loudly as I stopped playing my guitar. "Are we ever going to get there?"

I raised an eyebrow, hugging my guitar to my thighs. "Obviously we will. Are you getting restless or something?"

"Or something."

Uncle Will looked over at us. He seemed to be a bit more antsy than usual. Probably because he thought it was a mistake to bring me along. Seriously. A seventeen year old girl, on a cargo holder aircraft, going to some weird country for war? At least, that's how I see it.

Finally, a loud voice came over the intercom. It was not a voice that I could understand, but Uncle Will obviously did. He shouted, "Soldiers, prepare for airdrop! Autobots, wait for our signal to airdrop!"

He didn't look at me. Don't even tell me that he already forgot about me.

"Jessica!" he called.

"Yes?" I looked over at him. It seemed that I was the calmest human on this aircraft.

"Stay with the pilot until further notice."

"Yes sir!"

Seconds later, all of the soldiers made their way to the back of the aircraft. The hatch was unlocked, and they began to file out in an unorderly fashion. I watched them from the front, staying close to Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.

On the other side of the aircraft, Ironhide was sitting, messing with one of his massive cannons. Earlier, I heard that he had called them Energon plasma cannons. I didn't really understand why so specific, but maybe he's just a machine geek.

Sideswipe looked down at me, tilting his helm. "You're going to get bored in here without us, aren't you?"

"Well obviously."

He gave me a sly grin. "You can come with us! I can hide you in my chest plate, and there's a lot of padding because that's where all my seats are, and it'll be warm. I heard it's a bit cold in-"

Ironhide interrupted him. "She is not going, and you can't say she is because she isn't. Lennox would have all of our afts on a gold platter if you took her along."

"Please? We won't get her hurt! She'd be safer with an Autobot than she would in a floating target in the sky, won't she?"

"If Lennox told her to stay here, then she is going to stay here. That's final."

Sunstreaker scoffed. "She's suppose to be under Autobot protection because the Decepticons want her. If they could tell where she was before, what will keep them from trying to get her now? She'd be much safer with one of us, who can protect her, instead of staying here in an unguarded cargo plane."

Ironhide seemed to consider this for a few moments. I had to agree with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, though I'm not quite sure how comfortable being inside an Autobot while they were fighting would end up being. Even with the padded seats that were supposedly inside.

"Fine. She may go."

Sideswipe exchanged the largest of grins with his brother. Sometimes, I just didn't understand those two one single bit.

There was always something. A bang that rung in my ears until another one hit to silence that one, and then another one to sound off once more. One bang, another bang, then another bang, bang bang. It never stopped. Not even for a single second. All I wanted was to get out.

"You doing alright in there, Jess?"

"Y-Yes... What's going on out there?" I managed to get out. He was most likely running. I could see through his optics with a small projector screen, so I knew what was happening at least a little bit.

Every few seconds, he would look up to the sky. It was dark out, night time maybe. There were some lights in the sky, lights I assumed were the NEST aircraft carriers that would bring us home. How we would get loaded back up, now that was beyond me.

Oh, when Uncle Will finds out that they took me...

"Bring in Big Buddha!" somebody on the NEST team shouted, loud enough for anybody within miles to hear. Truthfully, it was a weak code name for the mech.

Several bangs and maybe a minute later, I felt something shake beneath my feet, and it was most definitely not Sideswipe.

His head must have turned. My screen filled with the largest Decepticon I have ever seen, four wheels all larger than a tractor. That's the best comparison I could come up with in my mind. Too many things were happening for me to process.

"Sideswipe, I need backup!"

"Coming right up!"

The next thing that came into view was a blue mech. One I didn't know very well, but I did know his name. Jolt. Or something like that.

Metal meeting metal. Steel meeting steel. All I could hear were all of those bang-bangs of all the fighting. Voices were crying out every which way. Some in English, which I could understand, and some in languages I couldn't even imagine knowing how to speak or understand.

Almost like a split second, and the battle was over. I didn't even understand how it was. It just... Was.

"You let her be involved in the battle?! When I specifically gave you orders to keep her on the damn ship!"

"On the contrary, you gave her orders. Not us."

"I gave orders for her to be specifically on the ship at all times! Can you even see her now? She's not sound of mind at all!"

"Oi," I lifted a finger up to his lips. He looked so tall up there. Like a cloud with raindrops and thunder in his eyes. "I'm fiiineee. Can't you tell, mon oncle?"

His eyebrows furrowed confusedly. "Come again?"

"Mon oncle. Farewell, I shall go to slumber now. Nighty night."

The greatest mistake I made was that. Letting them take me to the battle.
