A/N Thanks so much for all of the support I have gotten with this story. Her are close to reaching 3,500 views and that is just amazing. Thanks so much! Alright this is the last chapter after this there will be an epilogue and some fun facts about the story. This currently has 92 reviews and if we could make it to a hundred by the end of the story I would be so happy. Book 2 is going to be called Realize and I promise it will begin much better than this one did. I will eventually go back and fix this story. Thanks again for staying with me this far.

Chapter 28-
Nightpaw POV- Day of the end of the two moons
The wind is howling and frightening the kits. It's warm enough to be outside today but the elders warn of an incoming storm. I hope the sickness doesn't get to our elders. I love them all as if they were related to me.
"It's almost time to leave Nightpaw." Jayfeather meows, I can feel his tension as if it were my own. He is worried about Swirlpaw. She has so many reasons to stay in ShadowClan I just hope she remembers the reasons she has to come back.
"I'm coming Jayfeather." I reply
Bramblestar was waiting by the entrance to camp and most of the clan was out in the main clearing.
As we leave I hear the voice of my mother Daisy. "Bring my daughters back to me Bramblestar."
None of us turn around to answer her. We need to get going. Glitterpaw was disappointed that she couldn't accompany us but she did promise me one thing.
"Nightpaw," she whispered this morning before I had to leave "I'll be listening."
I had smiled, know that she meant by her powers. I was glad that she would be able to see what was happening instead of a report from Jaydeather or I.
When we arrive at the island, I notice that we are neither first nor last to arrive. RiverClan, with Mistystar, Willowshine, and Willowpaw.
I want to run over to her but I must stay with my clan until all the choices are made.
The next to arrive is WindClan, with Onestar, Kestrelflight, and Pepperpaw. Her face is clear and her step is light. Her decision had been made.
ShadowClan is last. Rowanclaw, er, Rowanstar walks confidently with Littlecloud and his apprentice behind him. Swirlpaw is last to arrive, I cannot read her face. This is not good. She doesn't even look at me.
"All of the clans are here," Bramblestar meows "let us begin this meeting."
We all stand uncertainly for a moment before Rowanstar speaks "How is it that we will begin this meeting? We were told to meet not what should occur. How are the apprentices supposed to make their choices?"
"I would suppose," Mistystar meows slowly "that we would merely go around, like we would at a gathering, and have the apprentices tell their choice."
"Right," Onestar stands "WindClan will begin."
He turns his gaze toward Pepperpaw, who stands tall and ready.
"Onestar," she begins "I have loved getting to know the ways of WindClan and the cats in it. The way you do things feels so familiar to me now and I am close to the clan like it is my own."
Onestar smiles at Bramblestar. Seemingly gloating at the fact that he will keep her. But that smile soon fades.
"But I cannot stay. There is something that I must do and it can only be done when my sisters and I are in the same clan. My choice is to return to ThunderClan. I will never forget the hospitality that WindClan has shown me. I am Wind on the inside."
She pads toward me and sits down.
Onestar is left looking quite shocked. I reach into his mind and find confusion there.
"Did we not treat her as one of our own? Did she not admit to loving WindClan as family? What is so important that she must leave?"
"RiverClan will go next." Mistystar meows
Willowpaw stands looking uneasy about trying to match Pepperpaw's speech. Our sister has always been good with words. As a kit Pepperpaw could talk us out of all kinds of trouble, most of it was her idea anyway.
"I love RiverClan," Willowpaw begins "they have befriended me and taken me in. I was accepted and I have friends there not only among apprentices but older more respected cats as well," she glances toward Willowshine "but I too must return to ThunderClan. There is something that is much more important than my feelings at stake here. My choice is ThunderClan, but I am River at heart." She pads toward us, sadness filling her mind.
I reach into the mind of Mistystar and I am nearly shocked out. She is proud. She knew this would happen. A though suddenly strikes me. "I love you my Willow. My kit."
I physically take a step back. What was that?
"ShadowClan will finish." Rowanclaw speaks quickly, I think he expects Swirlpaw to return.
I see her stand slowly, her eyes are sad and angry. She is going to stay.
"ShadowClan is my home. They are my family, and I wish to stay with them." She pauses and takes a deep breath "but I cannot. I will not waste your time with my reasoning for I expect you already assume. My choice is ThunderClan, but I am ShadowClan and always will be."
At that Onestar and Rowanstar erupt in protest. As one they ask the same question. "If it is where your heart is then why can't you stay?"
Rowanstar glares at Onestar before speaking again. "This is your doing isn't it?" He asks Bramblestar
"You are forcing them to return to your clan!"
"You already have enough warriors! But you just can't stop can you?" Onestar yowls
"How about we fight you for them? You are too afraid of conflict to refuse us!"
"SILENCE!" Screech four voices from above our heads
All is immediately quiet and every eye is turned up. At first I see nothing, but then four pale shapes come into view.
"This is not his doing Rowanstar!" Blackstar meows
"It is ours!" Tallstar finishes
The four cats are from StarClan. Tallstar, Blackstar, Crookedstar, and Firestar.
"There is something at work here that you must understand. These kits are of a prophecy. The sickness is only the beginning of the horrors that await you if you refuse their return." Crookedstar meows
"What is it then?" Mistystar asks "Can you not tell us?"
"We will not tell you, but your medicine cats. They will be given the knowledge of what is happening. Do not tell your clans. They will know in time but to tell them now would take away their hope of survival." Firestar replies
Eveycat sits down and nods their acceptance. I can hardly believe it. My sisters are returning home. We can be a family again.
For now at least. I feel that something will break us apart again someday.
Please review. :D
