Hi guys! Sorry for being such a terrible writerL. I am hoping however, that I will find more time to write soon! Until that time, unfortunately, I will be limiting my posts to once a week (like an episode!) they will probably come on Monday evenings, so I have the whole week to write the chapters and do homework and all the other things that prevent me from writing. This will mean the chapters will be longer and better quality, but I'll be updating from around 6-9pm (GMT time) on Monday evenings.

Sherlock AGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

Due to most of my readers being American, I will not say any more ( I Don't want to spoil it), but I will say that the ending of this fic will change, to accommodate series 3, and hopefully I can fit it in! Originally, Sherlock would look for a flatmate when he and Molly divorced in Asylum of the Daleks then they would leave after the Fall, and the Doctor would take them to New York to cheer them up… that may not happen now…

Now a little poem that I saw in a comment on YouTube. I'll just leave it here;

A thousand songs to which we pose,

A thousand wings that made of floes.

To tales be flow of briskly world,

That new shall rise in avid hurl.

So tell me please, what page shall I write?

Do you want of fame or glory delight?

Yet do you prefer the evils road?

Whose path was bleak in merciless strode.

As soon as the Doctor had woken up, and been told that Isabella hadn't made it out. He had flown into such a rage; Molly had shrunk back into the corner. Guido hadn't said a word, simply grieved silently, as another man raged on his behalf. Sherlock was also quiet, which was very unusual for him. Molly wondered if something had happened between him and her Raggedy Doctor. Finally the Doctor quietened. Molly raised her head timidly, hoping that maybe they could go home, leave and never return. But she knew they never would. The Doctor would fight to his last breath to save everyone, however small or insignificant.

"I need to find out what she's doing" the Doctor growled. "I need to confront her, face to face."

Sherlock's head snapped up, and in an instant he was on his feet.

"NO!" the Doctor shouted. Sherlock stared obstinately at him. But the Doctor stayed firm.

"No Sherlock, I can't cope with anyone else dying today" Sherlock reluctantly sat down, but Molly was suspicious. Sherlock wasn't one to give up so easily.

"I'll be at the palace. I need to gather info. Stay here!" he added warningly, looking from Sherlock to Molly and back again.

The door slammed shut behind him.

-ooo0000ooo-

Sherlock was not happy at being left behind while the Doctor was off investigating, and stomped off upstairs.

It was about an hour later when both the Doctor and Sherlock came back into the house. Molly, who had been dozing in a chair after changing back into her normal clothes, sat up and stared at the two men.

"Sherlock…what…you were upstairs!"

"I was, until approximately 15 minutes past 10, which was when I took the precaution of tying several sheets together to abseil down the window and follow the Doctor to the palace where I eavesdropped on a conversation, that was very illuminating, between him and Rosanna. "

Molly just sighed. She had learned long ago that trying to reason with Sherlock Holmes was a useless task.

"So come on" she said to the Doctor "spill the beans. What did you find out?"

Sherlock just stormed off without a word, so Molly knew that he was thinking. The Doctor, on the other stomped off to the table, where Guido and Sherlock had sat at. Molly pulled her chair next to the Doctor, who was mumbling under his breath

"Argh. I need to think. Come on, brain. Think, think, think. Think."

"If they're fish people, it explains why they hate the sun." Molly said.

"Stop talking. Brain thinking. Hush." He put a hand over her mouth.

Sherlock opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, the Doctor put his other hand over his mouth.

"Stop talking. Brain thinking. Hush"

"I say we take the fight to them." Guido said.

"ah ah!" the Doctor motioned at Molly. She rolled her eyes, but did what the Doctor wanted and put her hand over Guido's mouth.

"Ah. Her planet dies, so they flee through a crack in space and time and end up here. Then she closes off the city and, one by one, starts changing the people into creatures like her to start a new gene pool. Got it. But then what? They come from the sea. They can't survive for ever on land, so what's she going to do? Unless she's going to do something to the environment to make the city habitable. She said, I shall bend the heavens to save my race. Bend the heavens. Bend the heavens."

Sherlock jerked out of the Doctor's grasp, but the Doctor was already there

"She's going to sink Venice." They said in unison

"She's going to sink Venice? " Guido asked, incredulously

"Yes, idiot. Repeating the fact doesn't make it less true" Sherlock got a jab in the ribs from Molly for that, but carried on.

"She's going to repopulate it with the girls she's transformed. But she only has one man, she can't repopulate a planet with just him the gene pool would be too small. She needs men, but if it's just a girls school…" Sherlock trailed off

Then Molly remembered "She's got blokes!"

"Where?" said the Doctor and Sherlock together.

"you have got to stop that, it's getting creepy" Molly said, then realised she still hadn't explained herself. "In the canal. She said to me there are ten thousand husbands waiting in the water!"

The Doctor spoke this time "only the male offspring survived the journey here. She's got ten thousand children swimming around the canals, waiting for Mum to make them some compatible girlfriends." The Doctor made a face "Urgh. I mean, I've been around a bit, but really that's, that's eugh."

There was a very ominous creaking from upstairs. That wouldn't have been a problem, except that they were the only ones in the house

"The people upstairs are very noisy." The Doctor remarked, determined to fill out his line in the horror film setting

"There aren't any people upstairs." Guido replied

"Do you know, I knew you were going to say that? Did anyone else know he was going to say that?!" the Doctor exclaimed

"Is it the vampires?" Molly asked in a hushed voice.

"Like I said, they're not vampires. Fish from space." The Doctor grinned at her, but it was then that a shattering window broke the peace. Half a dozen girls from the school were reaching out for them. There were more of them come through the door from upstairs.

"Aren't we on the second floor?" Molly shrieked, as she was pushed towards the stairs. The Doctor pulled out his UV light and waved it around. The girls backed up quickly and hissed at them. The Doctor pointed his sonic at girls breaking in through the window. Their disguises flickered and died, revealing their monstrous fishy forms.

"What's happened to them?" Guido shouted

"There's nothing left of them. They've been fully converted. Blimey, fish from space have never been so buxom." For a moment the Doctor seemed to forget they were in a situation of imminent death. Molly pulled him towards the stairs

"Okay, move!" she yelled at him.

They raced down the stairs, Guido having taken the lamp off the Doctor and waving it whenever the vampires got too near. They burst out of the door, but when Molly turned back, she saw Guido shut the door in the Doctor's face.

"I'm not leaving you! What are you doing?" the Doctor shouted up at him. He tried sonicing it, but it didn't work

Suddenly Molly heard Guido's shout from inside, and realised what he was about to do. The Doctor realised it at the same time and began to run. But it was too late, Molly sprinted forwards, but at that moment the house exploded.

Molly was blasted back, and hit her head in the cobbles with a sickening crack.

The darkness rushed in all too fast.

agggh! if I leave the Doctor and Sherlock together for too long, they reveal the plot of the whole bloody episode! anyway, read and review!
