She ran back to her house, of course, the journey taking way longer back than it did forward.

"Lauren," she said opening the door.

"Bo?" she called back.

She followed Lauren's voice, running upstairs to her. When she entered the room she saw Lauren standing in the middle of the room. She ran to her immediately, and picked her up, holding her close in her arms. When she pulled away from her, she kissed her more passionately than ever before.

"I love you," she said breaking off. "So much."

"I love you, too, Bo."

"I'm gonna make this work, no more secrets, no more sneaking around. You're everything to me, and I don't want to lose you. I went with Dyson to get Kia back, Mark, the kid we thought was on our side had kidnapped her, he tricked us into thinking he was one of the good ones. As soon as I found out where she was, I had to get her back. I didn't wanna tell you, or anyone else, because I didn't want you to worry, or tell me 'I told you so'. I just wanted to get her back to protect her like I had said I would."

"You could have just told me instead of me sitting here thinking that you're involved with Dyson again. You made yourself so suspicious. I'm sorry that I didn't trust you, Bo."

"You had reason not to. I understand, and it's okay."

She let go of Lauren and looked around for Kia. She found her in Kenzi's old bedroom.

"Kia, i'm sorry."

"I know your situation, Bo. I'm not angry one bit. I can only imagine how hard it is for you to deal with being what you are. I support you, mistakes and set backs are allowed. I'm still your friend."

"Thank you," she smiled. She returned to Lauren, taking her by the hands.

"Listen, I have one last loose end to take care of. After Dyson, Tamsin, Talulah, and I kill Mark, me and you are getting out of here, we are going away for weeks, anywhere you wanna go. We're gonna lay around and do nothing, sleep in, stay up late, go for late night walks on the beach, long sunny walks during the day. We're gonna do whatever you want whenever you want, okay? I promise you."

"I trust you. And I will be waiting when you get back I promise you."

She nodded her head in understanding and took out her phone. She called Dyson, and let Lauren listen.

"Dyson, are we ready to move in on, Mark?"

"No, Bo I want you nowhere near this anymore."

"What? Why"

"Because now, it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with me."

"What do you mean, why Dyson?"

"Because Mark only wants one thing to leave us alone forever. Once he gets this thing, he will leave us alone forever."

"What is the one thing he wants, Dyson?"

"He wants my wolf. And i'm going to give it to him."

"No, you can't! Why would you even consider it?"

"Bo listen to me. I looked into his eyes, they were pure evil, the darkest I have ever seen. There will always be people he can send after us, his connections go far deeper than any of us could ever fathom. I don't want to look over my shoulder for the rest of my life and I don't want you, Tamsin, Talulah, Kia, Trick, or Lauren to have to either.

"There's always a way, Dyson. Not this way."

"I'm sorry, Bo."

He hung up, taking in a deep breath, ready to meet with Mark and the Norn to take away the last bit of manhood he had left. But he knew he had to do it, for his family.

The drive to the Norn's apartment was one full of nervousness. He tried to swallow it back, but he found he couldn't. He knew her tricks, and didn't know what Mark was going to do. If it was a trap, he was willing to take that risk, for them.

He had no thoughts of being the hero, but to be the one that leads the bad guys away, the one that makes life easier for the people he loves.

He walked the stairs and knocked at the door. He was let in almost immediately.

"We've been expecting you," he said, opening the door.

"I see," he said, making his way inside cautiously.

"Welcome," the Norn said with her same sick grin she always had.

He growled at her, using his wolf before it was taken away.

"Come now, I don't have all day," she said, not afraid one bit.

He walked over to where she was standing, Mark following behind him, so he was careful to watch his back.

"The terms we are agreed upon are a transfer of powers from Dyson to Mark."

"Wait," Dyson said, thinking on his feet. He had to make sure everyone was truly to be protected. "I want assurance that if I do this, you will leave, take whoever you have brought with you, and never come back to this place again, staying far away from everyone you have threatened to harm."

"I will give you my blood oath," Mark said, taking a knife out of his pocket and slitting his hand and holding it out for Dyson to grab.

Dyson took his hand and shook it, aware that he has just made a deal with the devil.

Dyson and make stood facing each other, about an arms length apart from the Norn. He blankly stared in front of him ash she placed her hands on either of their chests.

"You're doing the right thing," Mark encouraged.

Dyson said nothing, knowing everything he had was about to be taken from him. The Norn's fingers curved as she dug into their chests, taking Dyson's powers, and transferring them into Mark. It was a slightly painful process, but Dyson did not resist. Afterward, Mark knelt before the Norn and Dyson, his new power coursing through his veins. Dyson was still strong enough to remain standing. He watched as Mark rose with the very essence of who he was. He could have killed him still right then and there. But he didn't. Without a word, he left the Norn's apartment, never once looking back.
