Away Mission To Terra Beta
Part 91(Love is a Risk)
T' Pol could sense her mates deep fears and concerns. Jonathan Archer was a man of honor and courage. He would not like that his ship was going into a life or death battle while he was on the surface of Terra-Beta. She felt him try to shut her out not wanting to disturb her meditation. They had decided to rest this night and begin in the morning. She rose from her seating position with a practiced ease and went to his side. Her arms wrapped around his waist. "All will be well Thayla."
A strong hand circled hers and she felt him sigh. "I did not mean to disturb you beloved."
"What troubles thee Jonathan?"
"This plan is a risk. It was one thing to give weapons to our allies families. But why must you go back?"
"We must secure the humans in the pueblo. They are defenseless."
"I … I would not choose to risk you T' Pol."
She hugged him and said "I cherish you to Thayla. " She knew he was trying to act Vulcan in this and his attempt pleased her. She turned him to her. "All will be well my husband."
Jonathan gave up trying to suppress his worry as he kissed her with passion. Soon it did not matter as a more universal means of communicating took place.
Amanda gasped as Charles Tucker III reminded her that immortality had its good points. She was growing more and more fond of this man. He may be young but clearly someone had trained him well. She smiled. "More Trip more!"
Charles Tucker smiled at the vocalization and the pure joy on his new lover's face. He smiled as he loved her. It was so good to be having fun. Briefly he wondered what having an other 100 years of this would be like or perhaps a lifetime?
