" C'mon Kyo its gonna start soon! We can't start the wedding without the groom!", Shigure rang delightfully in sing-songy voice, entering the room Kyo was getting ready in. Kyo just turned around and frowned hearing that sick bastards voice ringing through his head, but Shigure eyes just widened. When Kyo tried he really could look quite dashing, all tucked up in a suit and his hair combed to perfection; that and his auburn eyes.

" Wow Kyo, you look really good. You'll definitely bring a reddening to those little cheeks of Tohru's!", Shigure chuckled, circling Kyo like a hawk, scanning every inch of him carefully.

Kyo let out a deep breath, knowing there was no use in getting all pissed off cause of this moron; it's almost time to go. Kyo crumpled his hands in a fist and grit his teeth, he was nervous as hell; he just knew some how he was gonna screw this up. Still he had to admit that he couldn't wait to see Tohru in her wedding dress, she's gotta look absolutely gorgeous; well more than usual.

( Lucky for Kyo she does look absolutely gorgeous!)

" Alright, whatever lets just go so were not keeping people waiting.", Kyo brought the subject back up, not wanting to speak about his appearance at this point in time.

Shigure simply smirked and nodded, opening the large door without hesitance; allowing Kyo to exit the room quickly. Shigure and Haru following close behind, they had to find Yuki now cause he was the " Best man".

Kyo still couldn't remember how Tohru had convinced him to ask Yuki to be the best man, on his list Yuki was the worst not even man a stupid rat!

Walking towards the courtyard where the ceremony would be held, they looked out over all the people out there and Kyo swallowed harshly. All of his family was out there, and Tohru's grandpa and other family. Tohru and Kyo did have one thing in common, neither of their parents showed up...

With both of their mothers dead, and his father hating him for being a cat this truly was bittersweet. Then again, Kyo never got along with his father anyway and would prefer he not be here anyway; Tohru was a totally different story.

She loved her parents, her mother especially; and even Kyo knew every girl dreams of picking out her perfect wedding dress and walking down the aisle with her mom watching her every step of the way. But for Tohru that day of the accident, that dream was ripped from her clutches forever and didn't even have so much as a father to make up for it. She was all alone... Then one way or another she ended up staying with Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure, living out their everyday lives together; like a real family. All of them best friends, until that one day when Tohru and Kyo became so much more; and now here we are.

"Ok Kyo you stand here while we wait for- oh there he is, Yuki come over here please!", Shigure commanded, seeing Yuki turn the corner into the courtyard.

Kyo was already in position, standing in waiting for his beautiful bride to step through those doors; once she did he had a feeling he would be just fine. He stood up straight, picking at his hair, staring at the orange and white bouquets that lit up the booths that were set out for the guests to sit in.

He was even more nervous than before, looking out over the sea of people he called " family". Then there was Tohru's little group of 3 or 4 sitting in the front row, her grandfather waving happily to him. Kyo smiled and waved his hand trembling slightly still, then frowned at his jittery appendage and shoved it into his pants pocket.

He couldn't even wave how was he supposed to put the ring on her finger or stand still and listen for that matter?! But both Kyo and Tohru knew that the long seemingly never ending speech the preached made neither of them actually had to listen to, they could just look into each others eyes lovingly and pretend to be listening; when in reality they were totally focused on each other. Then they said " I do" and kissed, thats all there was to it right?

There was one thing Kyo was still a little unsure about though, what did they do afterwards; they had dinner in the banquet hall he knew that; Tohru got to make a change of clothes for that event. Then when it was all over, what? Did they go back to Shigures and just celebrate themselves? Get a hotel maybe so they could be alone?

Then there was the matter of the honeymoon, which Kyo had already given some thought to. He remembered what Tohru had said about being able to speak fluent French, but having never been to France; intrigued by this useful hint he decided French.

So a few days ago, Kyo got them plane tickets to Paris scheduled to take off the day after tomorrow at 12:25 in the afternoon. An afternoon flight would give them plenty of time to relax for today, tomorrow then pack in the morning before hand then they could just go. He had already booked the hotel, checked out all the cool things to do, and all that stuff. He had the basics covered here, and he was a little shocked himself.

" Kyo, are you ready. Its starting, look alive dumb cat!", Yuki whispered, smiling and standing next to him; knocking his train of thought right off the track of his mind.

Kyo's eyes flickered as his attention was returned to the room, as silence fell over it; everyone directing their attention to the large cathedral style door opposite to Kyo's position where Tohru would be entering.

Kyo's eyes remained wide, he was dying to see Tohru; and the band began to play. The music was light and filled the room, every corner; Kyo swayed along to it, it calmed his nerves. As they began the song " Here Comes The Bride", the doors opened slowly.

There were quiet " Ooh"s and " Ahhh"s from all directions of the courtyard as the sunlight glittered across Tohru's rhinestone skirt. Creating heart shaped reflections on the ground before her, as she took her first few steps into the room; she was already starting to tear up.

Tohru couldn't help but smile enormously, looking at everyones genuine smiling faces gazing back at her. Tohru's pale cheeks began to redden seeing Kyo up there smiling at her the brightest. As the music swelled so did Tohru's heart, she had never seen Kyo smiling so genuinely. Uo and Hana following by her side, Kagura and Rin in front of them; and Kisa in the very front tossing not rose pedals but a mix of orange tulips and white peruvian lilies.

Tohru watched as the pedals color popped against the bright blue sky, swaying with the breeze and seemingly floating to the melody of the music.

Tears dropping from Tohru's eyes, so overwhelmingly happy still she kept walking; Kyo was her final destination on this trip. Tohru didn't even remember that she was wearing heels, it was like walking barefoot on clouds while she walked down that aisle; it just didn't matter.

Her gaze never left Kyo's as they stared lovingly into each others eyes, Tohru was just excited to finally get to the end of the aisle so she could look at Kyo's handsomeness up close. The aroma of the flowers in her grasp tickling at her nose, the sweet smell intoxicating her to no limits.

Finally taking that last step and up onto the platform, Tohru turned her body to face Kyo's; who was still stunned by her utter goddess like beauty. Kyo had truly never seen anyone that beautiful, not models no-one; but here she was right before his very eyes. Yuki stood modestly behind Kyo off to the side a little, and Uo and Hana acted as Tohru's Maid's of honor doing the same behind her.

Tohru reached her hands out, and Kyo found they were shaking just like his; they were together in this, they were both scared. Kyo reached out as well, taking her hands in his softly and caressing them with his thumbs. As both Kyo and Tohru stood, beaming at each other and Tohru's veil not even being able to hid her tears; Kyo could hear her whimpering softly. As the priest spoke behind them, about promises and love, and all that great stuff all Kyo could think about was all there time together up to this point.

There was once a time when it seemed like after high school, Tohru would have probably gone off to college and leave them; he would have probably never seen her again. It was a good thing that one day when Tohru had Uo and Hana over, Kyo did eavesdrop or else none of this could have been a reality.

They wouldn't have been able to laugh and cry together, hold hands, kiss, and be together; now truly forever. So Kyo and Tohru thought about all of this while the preacher made his glorified little speech; cause to them their past together speaks enough for itself.

Tohru continued to cry though through the whole ceremony, Kyo even had a few tears drip down off his face; probably too quick for anyone to notice. His hands felt so warm in hers, his grip not too tight but strong; like he would never let go.

This calmed some of

Tohru's tears, she began to cry less little by little; realizing she should save some for later. Instead she focused on Kyo, his perfect hair, the way he looked so handsome in that tuxedo, and feeling a little bad that he was wearing a tie; Tohru knew Kyo hated ties.

( Just like cats hate collars, see the connection?)

She smiled a little giggle escaping her lips, not audible to anyone but her in seeing that it was so loose around his neck as well; well she guessed it was better than no tie at all. Even though the veil covered Tohru's face, and trembled in the wind Kyo could see her beauty shining through the white piece of fabric; nothing could conceal her beauty.

They both looked up at the priest now, he was about to start the " I do's", finally. Looking back down at each other, Tohru felt tears brimming in her

" Do you Kyonkichi Sohma take Tohru Honda to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?", The priest hummed in his deep voice, directing the center of attention to Kyo who just grinned. Giving Tohru's hand a sweet squeeze and looking into her eyes...

"I, Kyonkichi Sohma take you Tohru Honda, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part." , Kyo promised loud and clear, watching as Tohru's head got a little lower; she was so damn happy to hear those words coming from him. Tears dripped from her chin and into a puddle at her feet, some of them clinging to the material of her dress. Kyo couldn't stop smiling, as he watched Tohru's hands shake as she sobbed happily.

" And do you, Tohru Honda take Kyonkichi Sohma to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live? Tohru looked up now, into Kyo's eyes; lifting her veil up and over her head. Finally revealing her beautiful face, and her mascara had held up; though tears of joy continued rolling down her cheeks. Kyo smiled even bigger now, finally getting to see the face of the woman he loved again; the fact that he had to wait made it so much sweeter.

"I, Tohru Honda, take you Kyonkichi Sohma, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, in any form you happen to be, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.", Tohru beamed back up at him, Kyo's heart bouncing up and down in his chest at her words; it was even hard for him to contain his happiness inside of him now.

Tohru took in a big gulp of air knowing what the next part would be... and smiling at Kyo with a wink. Kyo blushed, knowing what she meant.

" By the power vested in me by the Sohma board of marriage legality, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride!", The man declared, taking a step back to leave them in the spotlight. This was it, all Kyo had to do was kiss her and that was it; they'd be together forever. Kyo's hand found its way to Tohru's head, pushing the rest of the fabric from her veil completely out of the way, clearing a path to her smiling face.

Kyo smiled, leaning in finally and letting his lips meet hers. As soon as Tohru's lips touched his though, sparks erupted from her heart; making her throw her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. That hadn't had a good kiss in a while, not this passionate; and Kyo soaked up every moment.

" We did it Kyo, we're married; together forever...", Tohru whispered between his lips as he took a small breath of air. He heard this and kissed her even harder, it was all he could do to keep himself from crying as well at this point; she was just so right.

As the people in the crowd, Tohru's new family, Kyo's new family; clapped and cheered, ladies swooning and men whooping. Shigure just sat there smiling and whistling in the front row, next to Tohru's grandfather who was almost in tears.

Once Tohru and Kyo finally released, Kyo took Tohru's hand in his again as they walked back down the aisle... together. Kisa tossing the extra flower petals, and everyone watched as they danced through the air; filling the whole courtyard with the aroma of spring! Tohru laughed now along with Kyo, leaning her head against his shoulder as they walked out. Tohru suddenly stopped though, halting Kyo as well.

" Whoops almost forgot...", Tohru smiled, tossing the colorful bouquet over her shoulder and not even bothering to look and see who caught it. As the bouquet flew through the air, every unmarried girl hoping they would be lucky enough to let it fall into her grasp; but this bouquet ended up landing elsewhere. Yuki turned around, he was talking to Shigure; regrettably and they landed in his hands. He looked at them wide eyed, and overall shocked, a blush complimenting his skin tone. Kagura looked at Yuki and she smiled oddly, a little scary; as she walked up to him.

" Hmm Yuki? Ya Kagura likey Yuki, MUST MARRY YUKI!", Kagura thought to herself, finally getting over Kyo and moving onto Yuki in the blink of an eye. So Kagura decided to pursue Yuki's affection much to Yuki's despair. Kyo could only look over his shoulder as they exited through the large doors together, seeing Yuki being smothered already by Kagura and the bouquet in his hands.

" Stupid sissy rat, not even I would wish her upon you.", Kyo thought to himself, and was taken back to Tohru's attention as she snuggled her head into his shoulder; latching onto his arm.

And to think none of this would've happened if not for Kyo's Courage And Accidental Eavesdropping... THE END...JK!
