'Beauty'

"Thank you." and that was that, in two simple conversation's her place and her friends at LME had let her know she was cared for, she was respected and she was above all wanted! She had a place in the world of show business once more and she was happy with that place and as Kuon hugged Kyoko tightly to his side smiling so was he.

It wasn't until the knock at the door the happy little group broke off again to their assigned seats behind the character name and role, Yashiro happily opened the door to the remaining few people who entered smiling Itsumi Momose, Satoshi Takagi, Daiki Arioka and Sousuke Takaoka. As each new person entered Kyoko's heart sored a little higher these were all top named actors and actresses most in their prime or at a point in their career where they didn't need to take up bit parts or supporting roles yet here they all were ready to do just that, to support her in her debut role and for the rest of her life Kyoko new she would never forget all these amazing friends she had made.

Koun watched as Yashiro pulling out a chair asked if Momose would mind staying behind a few moments after the reading had been completed, he had made his start and now with his own will he was going to continue honouring his promise to Kyoko. He watched as Momose smiled at him and nodded her accent, in some ways Kuon suppose it was a good thing Momose had to call and let them know she and her manager were running late it gave him a chance to work on telling people one on one but still even as she smiled so brightly at him he worried what her reaction would be to his revelation.

"She will take it fine Kuon." Kyoko whispered squeezing his hand below the table as Kuon wondered how she always knew, could always see what was in his heart and mind. He relaxed his grip on her hand slightly before squeezing it tenderly. When everyone had taken their seats Yashiro nodded to Koun and started towards the door to convene with the other managers in the room next door.

"Aren't you going to sit Yashiro-san?" Kyoko asked with a very devious smile on her lips, it was Yashiro's turn to look confused as he looked around the table and noticed the empty chair between Kanae and Julie.

"I'm sorry am I required to take notes... or something?" he asked as Lory grinned almost maliciously at him making Yashiro's hair stand up down his neck, it was the soft and serene voice of Ogata that answered him as from his position at the head of the table passed Yashiro the name plate that belonged to the empty seat position. Reading it Yashiro's eyes widened exponentially as he looked at the nameplate then back up at the seated people before looking at the nameplate again.

"I...I... I can't!" He almost cried out in shock as the people just looked on most wondering what he couldn't do and those who knew what they were talking about just smiled in that very fear inducing way which meant he had no choice. "I'm a manager... not an actor." Yashiro cried as he displayed the nameplate for all to see "Robert Tucker - Yashiro Yukihito"

"You can Yashiro-san, I don't know anyone else other than my father that knows this business quite like you and I ask that you please do this for me." Yashiro couldn't help but look at the pleading face of Kyoko and feel like this was something that meant more to her than he could ever imagine but yet he still couldn't help but ask.

"Why Kyoko? You have all of these wonderful actors and actresses that have jumped at the chance to help you... why me?" it was then that Kyoko smiled her winning smile the one that drew people in and made people understand what true care and commitment was.

"Because even with you their as a manager Yashiro, it wouldn't be my debut without you in it." there was more words behind her eyes as she said this more words and expressions than she could ever put into words, gratitude for things he had done, acknowledgment of how he had always been there for her and looked after the man she loved and simple appreciation of who he was not just as a manager of LME but as a person... a person who just happened to be best friends with the man seated beside her who nodded towards the seat that was left open for him to sit at this prestigious table.

Yashiro looked down once more at the nameplate in his hands and felt his eyes well up with all the meaning behind its black and white lettering, "Well I suppose I will be playing Robert Tucker then, please take care of me." he said with a bow and walked around the table to seat himself between the two beautiful women and baby Toru who from his seating position on Julie's lap gave him a pat on the arm as everyone else ignored the few tears which he surreptitiously wiped from under his glasses.

After the introductions were made the reading began, Kyoko having the most lines and also quite a bit of narrating was asked by Ogata to set the stage with the opening paragraphs to set the story rolling.

I was the youngest of three daughters. Our literal-minded mother named us Grace, Hope, and Honour, but few people except I perhaps the minister who had baptized all three of us remembered my given name. My father still likes to tell the story of how I acquired my odd nickname: I had come to him for further information when I first discovered that our names meant something besides you-come-here.

He succeeded in explaining grace and hope, but he had some difficulty trying to make the concept of honour understandable to a five-year-old. I heard him out, but with an expression of deepening disgust; and when he was finished I said: "Huh! I'd rather be Beauty." He laughed; and over the next few weeks told everyone he met this story of his youngest child's precocity. I found that my ill -considered opinion became a reality; the name at least was attached to me securely.

By the end of the hour and a half reading Kyoko was sure she was ready to explode with excitement, Koun had chuckled silently more than once as he had placed a hand against her bouncing leg as she listened raptly to the lines being read and parts of the story unfolding she could not of been happier this was it! This was her story to tell and she had such an amazing group of people to help her tell it.

Again at the end of the reading after most of the people had left to other jobs and such Kuon sat down with Kyoko, Kuu, Julie and Momose and explained himself to the shocked but very pleased actress who as Kyoko had said she would took Koun's true name with extreme surprise but also grace as she patted his arm promising no one would ever get the information out of her and how pleased she was he counted her in such high regard. She hugged and kissed Kyoko's cheek telling her to look after herself and Toru before bowing to both Hizuris and Kuon before leaving for her next appointment.

"I can't believe it." Kuon half whispered as he sunk back into his chair rubbing his temples tiredly as julie patted his hand lovingly and Kuu smiled.

"What can't believe other people now know your true name? Or the fact they have taken it so well?" Kyoko asked as she pulled Toru's sippy cup from his bag and handed it to the little boy sitting on the table before her, Yashiro had happily said he would go down to L. A. Hearts and get lunch brought up for them all with the other Love Me girls.

"Both." Kuon stated with his hands now covering his entire face as he tried to rub away the feeling of disbelief. The other occupants of the room laughed as all Kyoko replied was "Told you so."

Over the next two weeks, Koun told other trustworthy people he would also class as friends his true identity, that included the Darumaya couple who closed the shop up for the evening to host Kyoko a pre debut party as the Okami had called it laughing and when Kuon had told them the Tashio had simply grumbled that he had figured that out quite a while ago and that to be honest he hadn't even thought it wasn't common knowledge. This had simply been the icing on the cake for Kyoko seeing Kuon's completely flabbergasted face as the Taisho and okami simply smiled at Kyoko's rolling laughter as she laughed and laughed eventually the entire gathering was laughing along with her including Koun albite slightly reluctantly.

"Ok Kyoko, you win... you win" he said smiling, as she smiled back the laughter glow still radiant on her cheeks as he kissed her softly "thank you for believing in me Kyoko." he all but whispered placing his forehead against hers as the people around the room smiled softly at there sweetness, even the normally stoic Taisho couldn't help but smile fondly as he said in his ever gruff voice, picking up Toru who had at that moment decided he wanted some attention.

"A toast all around." He said raising his small cup of sake "KANPAI! Kuon and Kyoko!" the rest of the room followed suit toasting not only the debut of the girl they all loved, but also the future that a man and a woman where building together.

Later that night as Kyoko returned to Kuon in her private sitting room in her father's house after putting Toru down for the night in his own room she had smiled as he pulled her tightly into his arms, kissing her hair as she pressed play on the recorded show of one of kanae's appearance on a late night chat show Kuon new that even if the rest of the world never accepted him the people who mattered certainly had and none more than the woman he loved.
