EoS: Here's another chapter, guys.

Lauren: Have they finally made it to the next gym?

EoS: No.

LexiconHuka:

EoS: Nope.

Amalgam24:

EoS: That's definitely enough of a reason to go for Tyra, being a dinosaur herself and all.

RogueSceptile:

Lauren: Not that I know of, but I don't play it.

Archer's Moemon Adventure

Chapter 35

Archer woke up still sitting on the same bench, surprised that he had fallen asleep.

"Well, I might as well go find them." Archer sighed, frowning.

"Cool!" Tyra said, staring up at a large skeleton of a T-Rex. "Dinosaurs are so cool!"

"Look who's talking." Jessica teased.

"Maybe she's an ancestor of yours." Nancy said, smiling.

"Yeah, maybe!" Tyra said, smiling. "But either way, it's still really cool!"

"Hey, guys, are you ready to go?" Archer asked, walking up to the three of them.

"You bet, master!" Tyra said, smiling. "I saw all the cool dinosaurs, so I'm all set!"

"Excellent." Archer said, grinning.

"Yeah, we spent a few hours, I think I'm ready to go." Nancy said, nodding.

"Wow, I must have been sleeping on that bench for a while." Archer said, surprised.

"Hey, Tyra, this town also has a building exclusively for the study of fossils." Jessica said, smiling. "You were probably born there, since it's the only place in the region that has the ability to restore fossils back to life."

"You mean it?" Tyra asked, her eyes shining. "That would be so cool! I want to go! Can we master, can we?"

"How do you say no to a face like that?" Nancy asked, Archer sighing.

"Sure, no problem." Archer said, nodding.

"Yay!" Tyra said, smiling.

The four traveled over to the Fossil Lab, and walked inside, Tyra amazed at all the fossils lining on the walls.

"Um, excuse me!" Tyra said, walking over to the scientists.

"Oh, a Tyrunt!" One of the scientists said. "You must be one of the fossil moemon we restored!"

"Really?" Tyra asked, surprised.

"Now, have you noticed any changes?" The scientists clustered around her. "Anything wrong?"

"Master!" Tyra broke free from the cluster, and hugged Archer. "Scientists, they're kind of scary."

"Wait, you're one of the trainers that we sent the two fossil moemon over to." One of the scientists said.

"Do you have any more fossil moemon?" Tyra asked.

"None." The scientist said, frowning. "Fossil moemon are restored from fossils, you know, and we don't have any left of moemon. However, you could probably find some fossils at the dig site, if you want to go look for one!"

"Yeah, I like that idea!" Tyra said, nodding, excited at the prospect of finding new fossil friends.

The four headed down towards Route 9, but their paths were cut off by a large rocky fixture, nearly impossible to cross.

"How are we supposed to get through?" Jessica asked.

"Simple, we need to ride Rhyhorn." Archer said, grinning. "We just need to find some. My mom taught me how."

"Wait, ride Rhyhorn?" Nancy asked, worried.

"Yup." Archer said, nodding. "Now then, let's find a… There he is!" Archer ran over to a man who was standing next to a herd of Rhyhorn. They wore spiky brown dresses and had grey hair down to their necks, and red eyes, with grey horns sticking out of their foreheads.

"Can we borrow a few to cross?" Archer asked, smiling.

"Yeah, you bet!" The man said, grinning. The three climbed onto three Rhyhorn, Tyra holding onto Archer's back.

The three Rhyhorn ran across the stone ground, and arrived at the other side, where the ground leveled off.

"Here's where we'll drop you off." Archer's Rhyhorn said, the three climbing off.

"Hey, what's that?" Jessica said, turning to a figure hiding in the rocks.

"Darn…" A young yellow moemon emerged from the ground. She wore a yellow dress, and had black hair down to her neck but two long fringes reached down to her chest, framing her face, and she had bright blue eyes.

"Cool, it's a Helioptile!" Jessica said, smiling. "You know what, I think I'm going to capture one!"

"Rain, go!" Jessica said, smiling, tossing out a moeball, which a Masquerain emerged from. She wore an elegant white dress with white diamond patterns sticking out of the bottom, and two large orange and red wings that looked like patterned eyes. She had long white hair down her back, and red eyes.

"Whoa, your Surskit evolved?" Archer asked, surprised.

"Rain, use sweet scent!" Jessica said, smiling. Rain held her hands up, releasing a sweet aroma, drawing Tyra and the yellow moemon towards her.

"Bubble!" Rain said, firing bubbles towards the Helioptile, who just smiled, absorbing the attack.

"Whoa, that was bad." Rain said, frowning.

"Thundershock!" Helioptile said, holding her hands up, firing a thin bolt of lightning at Rain, hitting, her, Rain frowning.

"Ancient power!" Tyra said, firing a blast of energy stones at the Helioptile, who cried out in pain.

"Thanks." Rain said, frowning.

"No worries." Tyra said, grinning.

"But I can beat her myself." Rain said, flying towards her. "Gust!" Rain released a gust of wind, flinging Helioptile into the air, Helioptile crashing down onto the ground in pain.

"Pokeball, go!" Jessica said, tossing a pokeball at the Helioptile, capturing her.

"Yes, I caught one!" Jessica said, smiling. "Another moemon!" She released the moemon, which Helioptile emerged from, smiling.

"Yay!" Helioptile said, smiling. "What's my name going to be, mistress?"

"Um, how about Haley?" Jessica asked, smiling.

"Yeah, Haley sounds good." Helioptile said, smiling. "I like the name Haley."

"Well, now that we've caught another moemon, let's go find those fossils." Jessica said, smiling. "That seems like a pretty good adventure."

"You've gotten pretty strong." Rain said, smiling.

"Yup, and so have you." Tyra said, nodding. "I think we should battle again, don't you?"

"Oh, but I'll win this time." Rain teased.

"Oh, just you try it!" Tyra laughed. "I'll take you down, just you watch!"

"Bring it on then!" The two laughed like old friends, as the group headed down into Glittering Cave.

EoS: So, what will they find there?

Lauren: Who knows?
