"Your baby is fine, absolutely perfect" a lady with short blonde hair smiled as she helped her sit up "You fainted but you and baby are just fine" the lady reassured.

"Why was I in pain? Are you sure my baby's okay?"

"The baby was in distress so he or she started making it known, your little one has a very strong kick" the blonde haired lady said "But you need to rest, the spotting was your body's way of telling you that it's doing too much, you need to relax and remember you have another life to think about now"

Grace was about the speak but she heard a familiar voice.

"Trevor, what are you doing here?" she asked as he rushed into the room.

"Baby, why didn't you tell me? You know..." he was cut off by Grace who started crying "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but... please don't hate me, I thought..." she stopped as the tears overpowered her.

"It's okay baby, you're safe and the baby is safe" he placed his hand on her stomach and caressed it "I love you, I love you both so much"

"We love you too" she admitted with teary eyes "I'm sorry"

"Shh, you need to relax now baby" he told her.

"But..." she trailed off "The wedding, the registry office, what time is it? Trevor we're meant to be getting married" she said in panic.

"We're not getting married, well not today anyway, when the hospital rang and told me want happened I came as fast as I could" he said "I cancelled the registry office on the way over here and I let Mel and Tyler know"

"But... How did you get there numbers?" she asked in bewilderment.

"I found your address book, but you need to rest now" he told her "I know how much you wanted to get married today and I'm sorry, but married or not I love you and we will get married, it's just not going to be today" he kissed her on the cheek "Now please get some sleep, I will be right here when you wake up"

...

Grace huffed as she lay on the hospital bed "It's no use, I can't rest I want to go home" she moaned.

"Babe, you can't, you know what the doctor said plus your drip..." he indicated to it and she groaned.

The Doctor had told them she was dehydrated so as well as needing to rest so needed fluids; they decided they would give her a drip because it was the fastest way to get it into her system and help baby plus stop the dizziness and other things she had been experiencing.

"Why do I need a drip? I can drink, I just want to go home Trevor" she pouted.

"Well you can't" he told her, leaning forward and kissing her pout away.

Laying back in bed she sighed in frustration.

"The Doctor said you can got home when the drips done, as long as you agree to rest" he said.

Suddenly she burst into tears "What's the matter? he asked.

"I ruined it, we were supposed to get married and I ruined it, I was stupid, I should have looked after myself better and now I've risked our baby..." she cried "I'm a terrible Mum"

"It's okay baby, you didn't know and you weren't stupid, you just wanted what most girls want, to get married and we will baby, we will be the family you've always wanted I promise, don't blame yourself"

"You still want to marry me?" she asked as he tears subsided.

"Of course I do you silly girl" he said as he reached up and wiped her tears away.

"I just wanted to marry you before the baby came but I couldn't even do that right"

"Calm down babe, this isn't good for the baby" he told her as he stroked her cheek lovingly hoping his gently caresses would calm her.

...

"Finally got her to rest?" a Nurse asked as she walked in to take the drip down as it had finished.

"Yeah, she puts up a front but she's not as strong as she makes out..." Trevor trailed off as he watched a sleeping Grace "I just want to keep her and the baby safe you know"

The nurse gave him a sympathetic smile as she finished disconnecting the drip "She's doing okay now, just make sure she rests" she said "Someone will be along soon to check she's okay to go home"

Once the Nurse left the room Trevor glanced at his watch and saw it was nearly six.

"I love you" he muttered as he stroked a sleeping Grace's hair.

"Love you more" Grace smirked as she woke from her light slumber.

"Hey baby, feeling better?" he asked her.

She hummed in response as she looked at her arm, seeing the drip had gone.

"We should be allowed to go home soon" he told her.

"Good" she said.

"But you will need to rest" he told her causing her to roll her eyes.
