"Son of a bitch is standing us up," Dean grumbled.

It was no secret that Martha was no fan of Crowley, but the fact that he didn't come when they summoned him made her nervous. She had a bad feeling about his involvement in the plan. She was almost certain that he was going to double cross them, but until they had his blood, they were completely at his mercy.

"If we summon him, doesn't he kind of have to—"

Dean cut Sam off. "Look if Crowley wants to screw you, he'll screw you."

"Do you think maybe he can't come?" Sam suggested.

"Because something went wrong?" Martha asked. If Crowley was held up because something went wrong with the plan, then Dick Roman was probably onto them. Even if they managed to get Crowley's blood they would have lost the element of surprise.

"I dunno." Dean shrugged. "Maybe."

Not too long after they finished the summoning spell, Meg showed up with Castiel. Cas was still a bit off after absorbing Sam's damage and he was maintaining his stance about not fighting.

"So your garrison is dead?" Sam asked.

"They're gone," Cas replied. "The entire garrison. If there's anyone left at all, they're in hiding."

"And Kevin?" Dean demanded. After he translated the tablet, they sent Kevin back home to Michigan with angel guardians. If the angels were gone, then Kevin was in danger.

"He's alive," Cas assured them.

"What the hell is that?" Meg asked as she gestured to the stuff they used to summon Crowley.

"We called Crowley," Sam said.

Meg looked alarmed. "You what?"

Dean waved off her concern. "Don't worry. He never showed."

Meg scoffed. "He could still sh–"

"Show up at any time?" Crowley cut her off. Martha tensed at the sound of his voice. "Sorry I'm late." He looked around the room seeing Meg and Castiel, both of whom were high on his shit list. "Well this is an embarrassment of riches."

Crowley gave them the blood that they needed, but not before confirming that Dick had Kevin and was onto their plan. To further complicate things, while they were staking out SucroCorp, with the help of a hacking trick their learned from Charlie, they spotted Dick on the surveillance cameras in multiple places. He had other Leviathans take his form to confuse them.

Then there was the matter of Bobby. He showed up at SucroCorp possessing the body of a maid from the hotel they had stayed at previously. They managed to save the maid and get Bobby out of there before he hurt someone.

"You should've burned the flask right off," he told them once they were back at the cabin.

"Bobby," Dean began.

"I'm still jonesing to go back and grab some poor bastard." Bobby shook his head. "Let's be real. I damn near that killed woman. And Charlie."

"It wasn't your fault, Bobby," Sam insisted. "Not really.

"That's just what ghosts turn into," Bobby said. "I really bet the farm I could outsmart that." He scoffed. "It's like an itch you can't scratch out." He looked at the boys and Martha. "It's time to end this."

Martha bit her bottom lip into submission. Dean could tell she was fighting back the tears.

"Go get Dick," Bobby continued. "But don't do it 'cause you think it'll scratch the itch. Do it 'cause it's the job." He looked at Dean. "And when that job is done, keep your promise to her." He nodded his head towards Martha. "Make an honest woman out her. And when it's your time...go."

Dean resolved himself as he tossed the flask into the fire. Martha gave into her tears and Dean pulled her close to him. It was like losing Bobby all over again.

"Here's to... running into you guys on the other side," Bobby said with a sad smile. "Only not too. All right?"

With Bobby's spirit at rest and Castiel finally on board with the plan, they had everything the needed to take down Dick. Martha held onto Dean, still not able to shake her bad feeling. "Stay safe," she begged him.

"For you? Always." Dean pulled her into a heated kiss through the driver's side window of the Impala. "Just keep an eye on that one." He nodded his head towards Meg.

Part of the plan involved Martha and Meg creating a distraction while the others infiltrated the building to rescue Kevin and kill Dick once and for all. "I trust her," she told Dean.

"You trust Meg?"

Martha shrugged. "Any enemy of Crowley is a friend of mine."

Dean dismissed her comment with a laugh. "See you on the other side."

Martha leaned in for one last kiss. "Not if I see you first."

Meg cleared her throat. "Are you done?"

Martha pulled away from Dean and cranked the car up. "Just because I trust you, it doesn't necessarily mean I like you," she told Meg.

"You mean the Thelma and Louise thing doesn't make us BFFs?" Meg retorted with a smirk.

"Not even close."

"Too bad. Besides Clarence, you're the only one I can mildly tolerate."

"Thanks, I think." Martha cranked up the radio as they hit the road. There was nothing to worry about. Everything would be okay if they just stuck to the plan.

"Castiel," Dick smiled when Dean and Cas cornered him in a laboratory. "Good to see you again. Thanks for the ride into paradise."

Dean pulled the weapon out of his jacket. "It's over, Dick."

Castiel moved towards Dick, but was flung into a wall, giving Dean the opening he needed to plunge the blood soaked bone into Dick's chest.

Dick groaned as he pulled the bone out of his chest and snapped it in two. "Did you really think you could trump me?"

"Honestly?" Dean laughed. "No." Castiel came up behind Dick and pulled his head back as Dean pulled another bone from his jacket and stabbed Dick in the neck. "Figured we'd have to catch you off guard."

Sam and Kevin ran into the room just as Dick began yelling in pain. Dean was happy to see that Kevin was okay, but he felt a small twinge in his stomach at Martha's absence. "Martha?" he asked Sam hopefully.

Sam shook his head. "I dunno."

Dean looked back at Dick as his face gave way to his Leviathan form. His mouth opened wide revealing his sharp teeth. An evil roared emitted from him then his face returned to normal and black goo started pouring from his nostrils.

The doors to the lab flew open once more and Martha rushed in looking disheveled and panting. "Dean." She smiled when she saw him and he let out a sigh of relief. He made to go to her when he noticed that Dick's body was pulsating with energy growing stronger and stronger until it suddenly stopped. Dick grinned at Dean then exploded into black goo.

Martha felt Sam's arm tighten around her as he pulled both her and Kevin close to shield them from the exploding goo that used to be Dick Roman. Frantically, she pulled away from him. "Dean?"

Sam stood up straight and looked around the goo splattered room. Dean and Castiel were nowhere to be seen.

"Where is he?" Martha cried.

"Sam? Martha?" Kevin said uneasily. "I think we should go."

"WHERE IS HE?" Martha repeated.

Sam looked at Martha. "What the hell is going on?"

Kevin began to fidget nervously. "More chompers any second, Sam."

"Wouldn't worry about that," Crowley replied, appearing behind them. "Without a master plan, the Leviathans are just another monster and I have a small army of demons outside."

"Meg," Martha said softly. "Your lot ambushed us and took her."

"We have unfinished business."

"Where's Dean?" Martha demanded.

"That bone has a bit of a kick." Crowley shrugged indifferently. "God weapons often do. They should put a warning on the box.

Sam advanced on him. "Where are they, Crowley?!"

"Can't help you." Crowley snapped his fingers and two demons appeared. Martha recognized them as the ones that ambushed her and Meg. "The prophet's mine."

"NO!" Martha protested, but before she could reach Kevin, Crowley had snapped his fingers again and the two demons disappeared with the boy.

"You got what you wanted," Crowley told them. "Dick's dead. You saved the world. With my help might I add, so consider this my fee." He snapped his fingers again, leaving Sam and Martha alone in the lab. The two of them stared at one another in distress as they tried to figure out what the hell was going on.

"Wake up," Castiel's voice called to Dean through the darkness. Dean opened his eyes and sat up. He was on the ground in the middle of a wooded area. "We need to get out of here," Cas told him.

Dean looked around. "Where are we?"

"Don't you know?"

"The last thing I remember is ganking Dick."

Cas nodded. "And where would he go in death."

Dean froze. "Are you saying that we're in purgatory?"

"Every soul here is a monster, Dean. This is where they come to prey upon each other for all eternity."

Dean scrambled to his feet. "So how do we get out?"

Castiel's eyes darted around the trees surrounding them. "I'm afraid we're much more likely to be ripped to shreds," he confessed.

A twig snapped in the distance and Dean glanced over his shoulder toward the sound. "Cas, I think we better–" He turned back towards where Castiel was standing to find that the angel had disappeared. "Cas?"

Dean looked around at the dark, desolate forest that surrounded him. Red eyes glowed in the darkness and the sounds of rustling echoed around him. It wouldn't be long before the monsters came for him, but he wasn't about to go out easy. He had a promise to keep to Martha and if he had to slice up every son of a bitch in purgatory he was going to fight his way back to her.
