"Ready, Astrid?" Nana asked on the edge of the city. They said they'd meet here along with Hachi, who was leaning lazily against a tree.

"Yeah!" Astrid squealed. "Oooo, I feel so bad!"

"Alright, do you know what you need to do? Never mind, you'll forget anyway, so I'll go over it." Astrid pouted and stomped her foot on the ground defiantly. "Don't take it personal. Let's review, then." She took off her rose necklace. "What does this do?"

"That's the one that you put on the person you want the subject to fall madly, hopelessly, desperately in love with," Astrid sighed dreamily.

"Very good," Nana praised. She held up her heart necklace next. "And this?"

"That's what you put on the subject to make them fall madly, hopelessly-"

We get it, Ash, Hachi thought. She stuck her tongue out at him.

"And the plan is…?"

Astrid took a breath. "We wait until you get the rose necklace on Spain and then we go put the heart one on Roma-Rome."

"Correct!" Nana tossed her the necklace. "I'll tell Hachi when I'm done with telepathy."

Astrid frowned. She and Hachi could only do telepathy when they were close. Everyone else could do it far away. Needless to say, they needed practice.

"See ya!" Nana teleported away to Spain's place. She rapped on the door excitedly. Like Astrid, she was a fan of Hetalia back in her respective world. Her favorite pairing: Spamano.

Spain opened the door and gave her a confused expression, not recognizing her. "Can I help you?"

"Mm-hm!" Nana nodded sweetly. "Do you believe in lucky charms?"

Spain thought for a second. "I guess."

Nana held up her necklace. "This is a lucky charm. What it does is it brings you good fortune for the next few months. I'll give it to you for free if you'd like."

"Huh? Why are you giving it to me?"

Nana grimaced. "Oh, you know, the pesky magic only works a few months per person. So since it's worn out for me, I have no need for it. You're the first house I saw. Sooooo?" She swung the pendant back and forth like she was trying to hypnotize him. "Do you want it~?"

"No harm in trying, right?" Spain smiled.

Hook, line, and sinker.

"Great! Thank you~!" Nana dropped in into his hands and said good-bye, walking away.

Hachi! she thought.

White Tiger.

What?

My code name's white tiger.

Nana raised an eyebrow in confusion at her little brother's behavior. O…kay. White Tiger! I've given Spain the necklace, but I don't know if he put it on. Get Astrid over there and make sure.

Sure.

Silence…

Okay, Hachi finally said. She's on her way.

Great. Nana cut the connection and grinned triumphantly.

Insert another word for "meanwhile" here.

Knock knock.

Astrid waited patiently for Spain to open the door.

"Hi!" she greeted enthusiastically, searching for the necklace. She finally laid eyes on his fist, which was holding a piece of jewelry. "What's that?"

"Some girl gave it to me earlier," Spain shrugged.

Jackpot.

"A girl, eh~?" Astrid giggled. "Aren't you gonna put it on~?"

"I don't know…" Spain sighed. "I'm not really sure what to make of it. She said it was a magic charm, but it's a little girly, isn't it?"

"A magic charm?!" Astrid repeated in mock amazement. "A deity must've given it to you; they've got loads of them."

"A deity, huh?" Spain held it up by the chain with his thumbs in front of his face. "So…what does this do, exactly?"

"It's supposed to bring the one closest to you eternal happiness," Astrid lied. (Well, it was kind of a lie.) "You should put it on. Just hide it under your shirt or something."

"…I guess it won't hurt anything," Spain shrugged, clasping it around his neck.

Yes!

"I just wanted to say hi," Astrid lied again. "I've gotta go back to Hachi. He's a tad over protective, you know. See ya!"

They waved to each other and Astrid ran away, giggling like she'd just played a prank on the geeky kid at camp. She teleported back to Hachi and Nana.

"How'd it go?" Nana asked intently. "Did you do it?"

"He's got it on!" she cheered, leaping up and high-fiving Hachi.

Nice job, he praised. Do I get a go now?

"You can help Astrid," Nana suggested. "Since you can't fully shape-shift, your gold eyes would be a dead giveaway."

"My eye color changes!" Astrid shouted, waving her hand up in the air, like she wanted to be called on. "Hachi can be my assistant!"

The Shiro Inu huffed and crossed his arms. Fine. But if we ever rob a bank or something, I call dibs on the gun.

Astrid quickly shifted into Spain and looked down at herself. "I never get to turn into Ita-chan enough…"

"That's fine," Nana said. "Now..." She nodded to the heart charm Astrid was still holding. "Good luck! And don't get caught."

"Don't get caught with what?"

Ugh… Hachi groaned. Hey, Ichi, long time no see.

The music deity stared on expressionlessly, a hint of disappointment in her voice. "Playing matchmaker again, Nana? And I assume you still aren't wearing your pendant?" She put a hand on her own medallion with a Japanese character.

Astrid and Hachi shuddered. The older deities wore their medallions, but from Simone on, they decided they wouldn't wear one anymore and attempt to blend in with the humans. In Hachi's case, he had dog ears, so it was difficult unless someone thought he was cosplaying or something.

Leave us alone, he snapped harshly, growling.

"I cannot," Ichi replied calmly. "I am the oldest and your big sister. I must take responsibility for you."

"We're just playing a little prank," Astrid chuckled. "Nothing bad."

Ichi narrowed her gaze. "I am watching you, do you realize this?"

"Oh, don't be so harsh," Roku scolded, walking up to them.

Big sister! Hachi exclaimed, jumping into her arms. I missed you, big sis~!

"Hello, Hachiko," she giggled, stroking his white hair. "Are you still being my same adorable little brother?"

Uh-huh~! he chirped.

Astrid held her laughter in. Hachi was so different and cute around Roku. She just adored him so much. He was busy squeezing the life out of her affectionately while she glared at Ichi.

"Let the kids have their fun," she snapped. "It's an innocent little prank. They aren't killing anyone."

"Yet," Ichi sighed. "But if you say so. I will return to Espa. Please be sure they clean up their mess when they are finished."

What are we doing, playing with toys? Hachi groaned in annoyance, hanging limply in Roku's arms.

"Well?" Ichi said. "Aren't you going to do whatever it is you were doing?"

"Right!" Astrid cheered. "Let's go, Hach!"

But Big Sis… he whined.

"Don't worry," Roku assured him. "I'll be right here when you get back, okay?" She put her hands on his cheeks and smiled. "Now, go help Astrid. She's your priority from now on, remember? You swore that you'd protect her. You told me. You promised me and I allowed you to let go of your duties as a deity."

I'm just helping her make yaoi and stuff happen, he shrugged.

"But even the smallest task is going into that promise you made," she added. "Now, go help her."

"C'mon, Hachiko!" Astrid tore him away from Roku and teleported him away to the Italy house. "I say after this, we do Itacest!"

Big Sister… Hachi sniffed, frowning.

"Who cares?" Astrid snapped, glancing at herself in a mirror on the wall to make sure her transformation was complete. "Go hide somewhere before they come!"

Hachi nodded and ducked behind a couch. Astrid rolled her eyes, shaking her head. Hachi wasn't very good at hiding. She peeked behind the furniture to tell him to hide somewhere else, but she was met with a little white mouse.

Did you really think I would hide here? Hachi scoffed.

"Good job," she whispered as she heard footsteps. She whipped around and leaned against the arm of the couch. "Hi~!"

Romano groaned as he walked in. "What do you want?"

"Nothing~!" Astrid walked over to him. He seemed to be buying it… "I just came to visit."

Astrid!

Not now, Hachi.

You do realize that thing will make him go completely nuts, right? It'll be nothing like how Italy went. Italy could actually think about other stuff like how it would go or if he'd get rejected. His brother won't.

Quiet, you.

"Something wrong?"

Astrid flinched at Romano's sudden question. "No! It…It's just that…" She held up the necklace in front of his face. "I got this for you and I was wondering if you could try it on…"

"Dio, no!" he snapped.

Before he could continue, Astrid whined, "I know it's girly, but I just wanted you to wear it. Just for a second? Puh-leeze?"

"…Fine," he spat, snatching the necklace. "But once I put it on, I'm taking it off."

"That's fine~!" she cooed. "I'll give it to a girl or something."

Oh, this is gonna be good… Hachi chuckled evilly, having a change of heart.

Astrid watched expectantly as Romano clasped the necklace around his neck. She quickly turned back into herself just in case he mistook her for the real Spain again.

"So…how do you feel?" she asked.

"Um…uh…" he stuttered. He grinned happily and bounded out the door. "SPAAAAAAAAIIIIN~!"

"…This was okay, right?" Astrid asked as Hachi jumped onto her shoe. "We should follow him."

You do realize the consequences of this, right? Hachi asked. He won't think about anything else but Spain. Okay? So that means it's your job to make sure he stays out of harm's way.

"I will," Astrid said. "Now, let's go!"

*Nyaaa! Dats so cuuute!

Spain: *Walks in* Sup?

Romano: :D SPAAAIIIIN-SAMA!

Spain: :) YES! *hugs Roma*

K bye.*
