Zoe's POV

I had been planning on getting a proper job for a while, the only real way I could afford to live in the house I lived in was because I sold my paintings but I stopped painting when I started dating Dan because I wanted to spend all my time with him. I promised myself that if I had a proper job I would stick to it and not spend all my time with Dan.

I looked everywhere for a job but I could only find small jobs that didn't give a lot of pay, I decided to have a break and I went into costa and ordered a hot chocolate. I then sat down and got out my notepad, I didn't tell anyone but my notepad was full of a story about a girl called Jaylee (weird name, I know) and it's basically about her life and it's pretty much completely based on my life. Her sister is always going to parties, she's really popular and she's always getting boyfriends, Jaylee wants to be just like her but then she finds her drunk and collapsed outside a house and she takes her home and Jaylee realises that she doesn't want to be like her she wants her sister (Trina) to get better and to get out of trouble. I hadn't finished it so I started writing more until I felt a presence on the table next to me, I looked at and my face lit up.
"Chris!" He looked up and grinned.
"Hey baby girl," I rolled my eyes as he came over to me and gave me a hug. "How's my girl who's dating the one and only danisnotonfire?"
"You know about that?"
"Of course I do. It's all over youtube and if you hadn't noticed I'm all over the youtube shit." It was true, he was the one who introduced me to youtube, if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't even be dating Dan.
"Well, what do you think?"
"I'm so happy for you, you and Dan are such a cute couple and if he breaks your heart you tell me so I can break his nose."
"Umm...thanks?"
"No problem baby girl."
"Stop calling me baby girl," I whined.
"You're a day younger than me, meaning you're a baby compared to me and you're a girl so you are my baby girl," He said and hugged me.
"God, you're so irritating."
"Nothing's changed," He got serious for a minute and let go of me. "How's Lena?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean, Zoe!" He said. "The last time I saw her she was you-know-what all the time you could see it on her arms, on her legs-"
"Shut up!" I yelled. "I don't want to talk about it, okay?"
"Fine, but is she okay?"
"Yeah, she's got a baby now."
"Aww, a baby! Can I see it? Please?" I rolled my eyes.
"Fine, come on."

Chris gave me a piggy back after I got a bit tired and I almost fell asleep on him until I heard a familiar voice.
"Zoe, what are you doing?" Chris dropped me on the ground and I saw Adrian.
"Hey Adrian," I said, he looked at me and gave me a dirty look. "What?"
"Are you cheating on Dan with that dude?" I looked at Chris and we both burst out laughing and we couldn't stop. "Answer the question, Zoe."
"No, I'm not, Chris care to tell him."
"I'm gay, dude, if anyone was to cheat on someone with me it would be a guy." Adrian looked uncomfortable as he looked at the ground and played with his sleeves.
"Oh...okay, well...I guess that that's okay then." I messed up Adrian's hair.
"Have you met anyone gay before, Adrian?" He shook his head, still looking at the floor. "No wonder you look so awkward about this, Chris, tell him about being gay."
"It's pretty cool especially since I don't look like a stereotypical gay guy so I can check out guys without them knowing. I have a normal human mind maybe a little more se-" I stopped him.
"Okay, that's enough," I turned to Adrian. "You okay with Chris being gay?"
"Yeah, I know that gay people are just like everyone else but I can't help feeling weird whenever anyone mentions gay people."
"Let me stop you there," Chris said. "Have you ever had a girlfriend before, Adrian?"
"Yeah."
"Have you been happy by dating girls?" Adrian shook his head a little. "Do you think that you might be gay, Adrian?"
"Maybe..." Adrian whispered and then looked up at me. "Don't tell Dan, please!"
"I won't but you have to tell him at some point."
"I will, maybe when you get married."
"YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TO DAN?!" Chris yelled, I shushed him. "You're getting married to Dan? Where? When? Why?"
"Yes. We haven't planned anything yet. We're thinking in a few months or more. We love each other."
"Awww! This is too cute!" Chris said.
"Sorry for telling him," Adrian said, I put my arm around.
"It's fine, where are you going anyway?"
"I was just going to meet my friends, Lana and Harry." Adrian said. "I'm kind of late, I should get going, bye Chris, bye Zoe." He walked off and I looked at Chris.
"He was so adorable!"
"Don't even think about it, Chris, he's way too young for you." Chris pouted, I laughed and punched his arm, he grabbed me and we went on our way to my house.
