A/N: oops I haven't put in a "I don't own Torchwood just borrowing the characters" for a while so just assume that the BBC and RTD own Torchwood and I don't mores the pity.
Chapter 29
Walking through the Plass towards the restaurant strip Ianto was alarmed when a black car sped up and blocked his path, before he could react or even get a signal to Jack two men in black suits jumped out and bundled Ianto into the car.
One of the two men in suits held Ianto down in the back seat of the car as the driver sped off. The other man rummaged through his pockets of his jacket, waistcoat and pants, once he located his phone he threw it out the window. Ianto heard it smash to pieces as soon as it hit the tarred road. "What do you wa.." Ianto was stuck by a closed fist connecting with his cheek, he struggled but it was to no avail, the man holding him down was able to match his strength. Quickly deducing that he would not be able to break free he thought to conserve his energy for when he had the opportunity to escape.
"That's better" the man who threw out his phone said patting his shoulder.
Ianto frowned at him, then realised that the other man had loosened his grip, Ianto shook his shoulders and settled back into the seat. After several minutes Ianto asked, "What's this about?"
"You'll know soon enough" thug No 1 said.
"Were you at the last gathering?" Ianto asked, trying to make small talk for distraction, he had deduced that the two men were werewolves but he couldn't remember seeing them at the last gathering, well he didn't remember anyone in suits, he would remember nice well-made suits.
"Never mis…" the werewolf who loosened his grip of Ianto said.
"No questions…..we will be asking the questions…real soon" the other werewolf interrupted, staring in anger to the other werewolf in order to get him to shut up.
Ianto decided instead to look out the window to work out where they were heading as it seemed he was not going to be able to get any more information out of either one of them, also noticing that a screen was up between the back seat and the front where the driver was located.

"Where's lunch, what's taking Ianto?" Owen grumbled, as he and Gwen walked up to the boardroom to see if Ianto was there with their lunch, thinking that they missed him walking in with their food.
"There must have been a delay with our order, just practise some patience" Tosh said placing her laptop gently on the table for her presentation to the team about her latest finding.
Five minutes later Jack bounced in, eager for lunch, the phone call that he had to endure had him work up an appetite, he quickly scanned the board room unaware that Ianto hadn't arrived as yet, "Where's lunch?" thinking that Ianto would have dropped off the lunch and then ducked down to the kitchenette to make coffees for all.
"Ianto is not back yet" Owen stated, not too happy about the situation and wasn't concerned about letting it show.
Jack looked about the room, his eyes darting to each team member in turn, his mouth pursed in a tight line his mind working overtime, "He's been gone forty five minutes and none of you thought it odd? Bring up the CCTV of the Plass" Jack said curtly.
Owen and Gwen looked at each other and at Tosh as she quickly brought up the CCTV of the Plass from 45 minutes earlier. They all watched intently as they viewed Ianto walk out of the tourist office, lock the door and then walk across the Plass as a black car, the licence plate obscured cut him off, and two men jump out and bundle Ianto into the car.
"Oh no, Ianto" Gwen exclaimed.
Tosh looked shocked but kept her wits as she followed the car by changing to another camera view to get a better look at the car and where it was going. She gasped as a phone was flung out of the car.
If Jack was tight lipped before when he first discovered that Ianto hadn't returned with their lunch as yet and the others not noticing, his face and eyes was seething with rage now.
"Tosh find out where the car stopped if it has stopped yet, Owen, check Ianto's vitals and Gwen, contact the police, find out how a car gets to be on the Plass and no one reports this, I want answers" Jack bellowed, all thoughts of lunch gone.

Ianto was dumped unceremoniously on the bare floor of the house when they finally stopped after driving for twenty five minutes, the two men holding his arms behind him so he couldn't do anything to escape.
"Now, now that is no way to treat the prophesied one" a were- human said, Ianto recognised him as the one of the werewolf from the five tree stumps when he delivered the box.
"Now Ianto, thank you for coming, we have a bit of a dilemma, do you know what that is?" the ginger haired werewolf said.
"N…no" Ianto gasped out, his ribs were a bit sore from the pounding the werewolves thugs gave him when they first arrived at the house.
"Ianto, we want you to do something" the werewolf with greying hair said.
Ianto's mind raced, he knew what they were going to ask him to do but what he couldn't understand is why they took this tactic, why they didn't just ask him, why send out the thugs to bring him in.
"S….sure" Ianto stammered.
"The sacred box, we would like you to try to open it" the dark haired were-human said gruffly.
"Please transform now" the greying werewolf said, 'Grey' Ianto decided to call him.
"I..I can't j..just transform just like that" Ianto said stalling for time.
"Ianto" the scarred face were-human growled, "we know that you can transform at will…..isn't that right Lisa?"
Lisa stepped out of the shadows her arms crossed over her chest, "Yes he is a quick learner"
Ianto stared at Lisa his mind boiling with rage and anger at himself; he thought they were friends, special even, since she was the first werewolf he encountered when he was a new werewolf.
"Ianto? If you could? Now please" Grey the werewolf said, his voice laced with no pretence of asking, more of a command.
Ianto looked at the werewolves and were-humans in attendance, the five elders, Grey, Scar-face, Ginger, Dark-hair, Baldy as he called them as he never got their names as well as Lisa and the two thugs were-humans. Knowing that he couldn't not transform, Lisa as informed them that he was able to do a voluntary transformation he tried to think of something he could do to delay the inevitable. His eyes settling on the Grey that Ianto recognised as being the centre werewolf when he brought the box to the last meeting, his eyes left no dispute in what he expected Ianto to do.
Summoning the inner beast within, Ianto slowly allowed the transformation to occur. Once he was fully transformed the box was placed into his paws and he was directed to place his claws onto the indents on the box.

"So where did they take him Tosh?" Jack said not quite believing that the Ianto was frog marched into a house and not the bush where he expected them to take him.
"Here's the address" Tosh said confidently, writing down the address and handing it to Jack.
"What are his vitals like Owen?" Jack said worry evident in his voice, but his face was stoic in appearance trying to maintain his leadership role.
"Heart rate is elevated as you would expect but on the whole not too bad, he is trying to stay calm" Owen said impressed.
"Hmmm the house is a disused house in Splott, hmm it shouldn't take that long to reach Splott?" Tosh said.
"Fine, let's go, Tosh you stay here to monitor the CCTV, lucky that they weren't aware that the CCTV is working in that part of Splott" Jack said happy for something to go his way, most people just assumed that the CCTVs in Splott weren't working especially in that part of Splott.
Running through the Hub collecting extra weapons Owen, Gwen and Jack got to the SUV in record time.

As soon as Ianto's claws touched the indents on all the sides, a groove became visible where it wasn't before, with each passing second the groove got deeper. The elders gasped in awe, their eyes never leaving the box, and as before the box split in two in Ianto's paws.
Grey and Dark-hair grabbed the two pieces and Ianto stepped back, wanting to distance himself from the box.
"I was right, he is the prophesied one" Ginger said
"Knowing how to transform early on when first becoming a werewolf isn't the only thing that identifies who the prophesied one is" Baldy rebuked.
"But he is the one" Ginger said smugly, "we should have kept him when he delivered the box"
"Stop arguing we got the recipe now" Grey said holding aloft the recipe above his head as if it is the holy grail.
"Careful with that, put it in this glass container, I'll examine it later for fingerprints and age" Baldy said holding out a glass receptacle similar to those used by Torchwood and museums.
Ianto listened to this exchange between the elders, the news that the recipe would be examined for fingerprints worried him.

Racing out of the underground carpark Jack said, "Remember bullets won't kill them, it will slow them down but not kill them permanently"
"Oh do we need silver bullets" Gwen said obviously forgetting that Ianto had explained to them how to kill a werewolf.
"You watch too much TV, this is not a TV show, this is real life Gwen" Jack said shaking his head, "no, the only way to kill them is to completely sever their heads"
"Love that, makes things very interesting" Owen said smirking.
"We can go in there gun blazing so to speak" Jack said determined, "but if you get the chance cut off their heads….make sure it's not Ianto first though"
Understanding reached Gwen as she had noticed that Jack had gathered several huge knives in his arsenal of weapons as he raced out of the Hub.

"Okay lets go Ianto" Scar-face said then seeing the quizzical look on Ianto's face, "What? Did you think we were going to wait here for your friends to arrive and fight it out with us, oh no, they would be in transit now on their way to this residence but we will be long gone" he said with a sneer as they lead Ianto out the back of the house.
Pushing him into the trunk of a light green car Ianto's head slammed into metal work, he vaguely noticed the trunk door being slammed firmly closed as he lost consciousness.
A/N: Here in Oz we say boot not trunk (of a car) but I changed it for all you in the Northern Hemisphere and in US. If you're from Australia I'm sorry that I bow down to everyone's style of English.
