Hello everyone, here is the next chapter for Dragon King of Fairy Tail. Thank you for the reviews. I will continue to work on my writing. I will also try and go back and fix the grammar problems but I make no promises.

Continue to review! I enjoy reading them and it helps me improve.

Sayla gritted her teeth with frustration, it was one thing to get into the fight but what Jackal was doing was going overboard, especially in the delicate situation they were in now. She clapped her hands a small bubble forming between her palms she pushed it forward, towards the rampaging Jackal. The bubble touched him before spreading and consuming him, the buildup of magic subsided; Sayla clenched her fist causing the bubble to shrink, she pulled her hand back, the bubble floated back towards her.

"Sayla! What the hell are you doing!" Jackal's voice echoed from the bubble, Sayla merely glared at it.

"Your actions may have compromised the mission" was all she said before turning to the recovering duo, "cool off your head" she told him. Sayla was certain she managed to contain the burst of energy, hopefully nobody outside had noticed; for now she had to deal with the two troublemakers.

"You two certainly are an unusual duo" she said; Aine grinned but didn't reply, instead she ignited her fists and immediately attacked the demon. Sayla using her Macro commanded the ground beneath to rise creating a shield blocking Aine's initial strike, she then commanded rocks and crushed the area Aine stood, not pausing she sent more towards Sora; with a snap of her fingers the large chunks split into smaller shards. Quickly Sora whipped up a gust of wind able to redirect some of the attack but gritted his teeth when he felt cuts on his legs and arms; Aine burst out of the rubble circling around but clicked her tongue realizing that Sayla was raising walls in whichever direction she moved. She was suddenly hit by a pillar of rock sending her flying back.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" she retaliated, a stream of fire shot towards Sayla piercing through the stone wall only for it to bend in direction towards a wall. Aine landed next Sora eyes in shock.

"How is she able to redirect my attack like that?" she asked, Sora's eyes narrowed.

"It must be her Macro, father has always praised its capability."

"Now I'm really curious" Sayla called, "how is it that you know the name of my curse?"

"Sorry, but we can't disclose such information" Sora replied before disappearing and reappearing behind Sayla attempting for a swing of his fist. Much to his surprise however the female demon merely tilted her head dodging the attack before spinning around and smacking him away.

"I can tell that you are not utilizing your full potential" Sayla said, "If you wish to live I suggest you start taking me seriously" Aine narrowed her eyes, but couldn't help but agree with her, she had truly overestimated her own power. The two took a deep breath before a wave of energy emitted from them; red scales formed on Aine's skin while white feathers for Sora; Sayla looked with interest.

"So this is the famed Dragon Force" she said, though her voice was monotone, she was genuinely interested. The two leaped into action. Sayla commanded the air, forcing powerful currents to attack them; however Sora was able to manipulate the air; the attack encircled around him and propelling him faster, he punched Sayla in the stomach before kicking her into the air. Aine followed up by grabbing her by the leg and flinging her into the ground, there was a crash before Aine followed it up with a jet of flames.

"That has to have dealt some damage" Aine said landing next to her brother.

"Even so, it still isn't enough" he replied and he was right; Sayla stood up completely unharmed she unleashed a barrage of rocks. Aine rushed in skillfully dodging the attack, close behind her was Sora, the two split paths and surrounded the demon and with a combination of wind and fire swallowed her encasing her within. Both in synced the two siblings slowly closed the ball of wind and fire before jumping in. But to their surprise two hands pierced through and caught their fists.

"Dragon Force" they heard Sayla say, "very disappointing" she twirled before flinging the two into a wall. Aine cringed in pain; she peeked up at Sayla casually dispersing their combined attack.

"She is nothing like Jackal" she said "why is the difference in power so great?"

"Jackal?" Sayla questioned, "you are questioning his ability?" she started laughing which only angered Aine, "In terms of power, Jackal surpasses me by far; the only reason you damaged him thus far is because he is an idiot who doesn't know how to control his anger" Sayla's eyes gleamed a sinister smile slowly forming "should he ever quench his rage and start thinking straight, you two would be dead already. Be glad that I am your opponent today" Sayla emitted a small amount of her killer intent but it was enough to send shivers down the sibling's spines.

"We have made a terrible mistake here" Sora said; Aine chuckled.

"Can't help but agree" Sora turned to his sister; he knew that if they didn't retreat they were going to die. But something was incredibly wrong, the sequences of fights on this day were not supposed to happen, in fact they weren't even supposed to fight these two down here. Originally they should have found them meeting with their contact who happened to be one of the Garou Knights, Kama; he was under Sayla's control. They would then report back to Zitana and from there they would proceed to stop the gate from opening and reclaim the gate fragment. But right now that was not the case, first they didn't catch them meeting with their contact and they even got into a fight, a losing fight no less. With all these changes it was very possible that their contact could be an entirely different person. Sayla noticed the boys eyes trail towards the exit, she immediately walled it off.

"Don't expect to get any help, you will either be captured or die by my hands" Sayla's words were completely emotionless. Sora really didn't know what to do now; he looked over to his sister and could tell that she didn't have any ideas either. Sayla started her way towards them but was halted by Aine.

"Wait!" she called, "I have a proposition for you" Sayla raised a brow.

"I'm listening" she replied genuinely interested in what the girl had to offer.

"If you let my brother go unharmed I will hand myself over to you" she said.

"What are you saying?" Sora cried out; but Aine ignored him.

"Is that right; you'll actually make it this easy?" Sayla looked between her and Sora; Aine nodded, "very well then" Sayla raised a hand, a rock launched up hitting Sora in the head knocking him out.

"I said unharmed!" Aine cried out quickly running to her brother's side.

"He's not dead, that to me is unharmed" Sayla looked towards Jackal and released him from his prison, "I want you to take the girl back to our guild, let the Master know that this girl is my specimen" Jackal glared at the girl before sighing in defeat.

"Whatever, you're the boss" he said walking towards Aine, "get up" Aine did as he was told. A portal suddenly opened up next to Jackal. Aine got one more look at her brother before she stepped through the portal with Jackal following close behind her. With the two gone only Sayla and Sora were left and the demon was looking at Sora's unconscious form.

"Wiping this boys memories would be the best thing to do for now" Sayla said to herself. She made her way towards Sora and moved her hand towards his head, she was about to chant a spell but was quickly interrupted. She jumped to the side just barely avoiding a sword rocketing through the air.

"Who's there?" she shouted. A woman with emerald colored hair stepped out from a hole that had opened up from the barricaded entrance.

"Zitana, the Queen of Fiore" the emerald dragon announced, she looked at the destruction with a grim expression "and it would seem that I came too late."

The first thing Yukino thought when she sat quietly in a corner watching the Fairy Tail guild was how rowdy they were; she wondered if they all secretly hate each other considering they were all beating each other up.

"Sorry about this, they are always like this" Lucy said standing next to her.

"You mean your guild mates are always trying to kill each other?" Yukino questioned. Lucy laughed shaking her head.

"Think of it as a way for them to express their love for each other" Yukino raised a brow a little stunned. But she couldn't help but smile, even if the guild was pretty hectic Yukino felt the warm atmosphere which was very different when compared to Sabertooth where there was always a sense of tension and coldness.

"Speaking of which you're a Celestial Mage aren't you" Lucy remarked smiling, Yukino perked up but immediately looked down.

"With my keys gone I can't call myself a Celestial Mage anymore" she muttered. Lucy placed a reassuring hand on Yukino's shoulder.

"Don't worry we'll get your keys back" Yukino smiled but still couldn't help but worry, she would soon return to her guild and she had no idea how they were going to react, badly no doubt. Natsu and Gray having been throwing each other about landed next to the two Celestial Mages.

"Oh now you've done it Popsicle" Natsu growled out.

"Right back at you lava brain" the two stood up and got ready to go at it again only to have their heads grabbed and smashed into the ground. Erza stood over them with a dangerous look.

"You two idiots ruined my cake, and you should know by now what happens when people ruin my happy time" her voice crackled murderously.

"Sorry..." the two squeaked out. Erza looked up and noticed Yukino staring at the two beaten mages.

"Ah! You must be Yukino, sorry about this spectacle" she let out a dry laugh while scratching the back of her head. Natsu pulled his head out of the rubble and stood up.

"That's right we need to get you back to your guild." Gray stood up next to Natsu and for some reason ended up shirtless.

"Sabertooth right?" he asked Yukino nodded.

"Let me tag along, I want to see what these guys are like" Natsu shrugged not really caring.

"I'll go too" Lucy said. Erza nodded in agreement.

"As will I, it is always good to get a better understanding of the people you will face in the future."

Natsu, Gray, Lucy and Erza stood in front of Yukino protectively. They have all agreed on one thing after speaking to their guild Master, Jiemma; he was scum.

"My guild has no place for useless trash like her" the large man called "losing your key's? How pathetic can you be" Yukino didn't say anything, only looking down cast as she took in Jiemma's harsh words. Lucy clenched her fist; never has she felt so much rage towards a person before. She was about to take a page out of the Fairy Tail hand book and give him a right hook but Natsu stepped forward.

"You call yourself a guild master?" Natsu eyed Jiemma with held back anger "your lack of compassion for someone in your charge is disgraceful. Do us all a favor and step down."

"And what makes you think you can order me? You should know your place" Natsu shook his head.

"You have no right to be a guild Master; don't make me force my hand." he threatened.

"You think your words frighten me boy?" Jiemma said.

"Of course not, that's why they say actions speak louder than words" as he said this Natsu released a small amount of his killer intent but it was enough to cause Jiemma to drop to his knees. The rest of Sabertooth stood completely stunned by the display of power and none of them dared to make a move; they all flinched when Natsu's gaze landed on them. They've all seen what the Salamander was capable of and none of them wanted to face his wrath.

"So this is your power Salamander" a voice said from behind the crowd. Natsu looked to the source and a woman stepped forth "I will admit I am impressed, for you to force our Guild Master to kneel before you, you must be quite the character."

"Minerva" Jiemma muttered while silently gasping for air at the same time.

"But you really shouldn't cause a scene" Minerva continued "it would be terrible if someone were to get hurt in our little bout." Natsu suppressed his killer intent and looked around; there were still civilians in the area, "but if you want us to take the girl in, I suppose I can look after her" with Minerva's eyes on her Yukino stepped back in fear, she could only imagine what would happen to her if she were in Minerva's care.

"I don't think so" Erza said "We'll be the ones to take Yukino in." Minerva shrugged.

"Oh well, works with me, I'd rather not carry dead weight anyways" walking back into the crowd she couldn't help but get a quick glance at the Fairy Tail group. Natsu turned around ready to leave.

"Come on let's get out of here" the others couldn't help but agree. They were however suddenly attacked by a shadow like serpent; Gray and Lucy tried to intercept it but were thrown to the side instead. Erza thought it would go for Yukino so immediately stepped in front of her; the serpent however went for Natsu who eyed it with great interest. He grabbed the shadow serpent and crushed it within his grasp.

"I didn't think that attack could stop you anyways" Rouge stepped from the shadows along with Sting, Lector and Frosch just behind them.

"I found it odd that I didn't see you two, so this is where you were hiding" Natsu said to them while eyeing their movements "do you want to fight or something?"

"Not right now; that serpent just now was our way of saying hello" Sting responded with a smirk. The two continued towards them; Erza, Lucy and Gray tensed getting ready to retaliate. But they walked past them.

"I would watch your back my King" Rouge whispered. Natsu's eyes widened with realization while Sting's eye twitched with annoyance.

"Why the hell did you give us away?" he shouted in a whisper so nobody could hear them; Rouge shrugged him off, "we were supposed to pose as the bad guys you idiot!"

"It doesn't matter, you'll get your chance to act tomorrow" Rouge whispered back. Natsu looked back at the two silently bicker and immediately realized who they were.

"Shadestreak and Lightbringer" he mumbled.

"Natsu?" he heard Erza call. Back to reality Natsu saw his team already walk out the inn, Natsu jumped into a short jog catching up to them.

"I'm really sorry for all the trouble I have caused" Yukino was the one to break the silence.

"No need to apologize, those guys are jerks anyways, how did you put up with them anyways?" Lucy asked.

"Well, I usually just kept to myself" was her answer. Erza sighed, a little disappointed.

"That won't do, keeping to yourself won't help you grow stronger" Lucy nodded to Erza's statement.

"Why don't you join our guild?" Lucy suggested. Yukino's eyes widened, not sure how to respond, she no longer had her guild mark so she was not bound to anyone but at the same time she didn't think she was ready to join another guild so soon.

"Don't push her Lucy" Erza said before looking back to Yukino, "take your time, but just know that Fairy Tail will always welcome you with open arms." Yukino nodded with a small smile.

Opening the doors back into the Honeybone inn the team was greeted with everyone gathered in a group. Romeo was the first to notice their return and called out to them.

"Natsu-nii!"

"What is going on Romeo?" Natsu asked. The boy didn't respond immediately.

"You should probably see for yourself" he replied. Natsu raised a brow and pushed through the crowd. What he saw was incredibly surprising as well as panics inducing; sitting on a seat missing an arm was none other than the Queen of Fiore, Zitana. With her arm treated by Wendy, Zitana saw Natsu and gave him a nervous smile.

"Good evening my King."
