The sun shown bright over the DWMA, smiling and laughing just like it always did. It was lunch, and around this time a young girl, who was also a gifted weapon, liked to sit on the steps leading up to the school. The girl loved being out in the sun, the complete opposite of her twin.

"Himitsu?" The girl turned her head to smile at her brother, but started laughing instead.

"Wh-why do you always insist on carrying an umbrella when its so nice out Tori?" Himitsu said as her brother grumbled.

"I can do what I want." Torikku muttered. Himitsu stopped laughing and motioned for her brother to sit next to her.

"So, you want to tell me where you were last night?" Himitsu asked as her brother took his place beside her.

"I think you already know the answer to that."

"Why would you go see her without me?" Himitsu's cheery tone turned to one of sadness.

"Because I'm beginning to wonder if you still understand our plan, Su. You know why we came here, and you've been so busy living a fantasy that your actually starting to believe it's true." Torikku didn't yell, but the deep tone in his voice did rattle his sister to her core.

"I'm sorry, your right. I won't forget again." Himitsu whispered.

"It's ok. Come on, we should be getting back." Torikku helped his sister to her feet, and they both walked back inside the school.

Masuta glared at Maka, "I do not agree nor disagree with you calling me by that name." Masuta had not gone by the name Himitsu in almost a century, and wasn't too comfortable having a little meister girl call her by it with such familiarity.

"Um, does someone want to let us in on whats going on?" Hikaru asked, only to be shushed by his brother. Masuta couldn't help but smirk slightly at the two siblings.

"All you need to worry about is making sure that soul is safe. Right?" Maka asked the kishin.

"Yes, I would appreciate that." Masuta looked back at the soul in Haruhi's hands, and felt a slight ache in her chest.

The sun had set, and the only light was coming from the bleeding moon and the dimly lit lamp posts covering the Death City streets.

"Himistu, wake up!" Himitsu shot up from bed and looked at her brother.

"Tori? What's wrong?" Himitsu rubbed her eyes, and was then pulled out of bed, "Torikku?"

"We have to go, Moms in trouble!"

"What? How? Did you go see her?" Himitsu was scarred and also very confused.

"I was speaking with her using one of her spells when something started happening. I tried to keep the spell going, but everything suddenly went dead." Torikku explained as he poured the contents of his backpack on the floor and grabbed a small knife.

"Torikku no! Mom said you can't do this while we're in Death City, they might catch us!" Himitsu yelled as she tried to grab the knife.

"We don't have a choice!" Torikku ignored his sister's pleas and began the spell his mother had created and taught to him. He carved a straight line in the floor, and spoke some familiar words as he cut his hand and allowed a few drops of blood to fall. Normally Torikku would put together some weird concoction of stuff that Himitsu didn't really know much about, but the minerals he used could all be found in blood, so using his own was a time saver if he wasn't planning on going far.

Himitsu watched as her brother opened a portal in her room, which she figured would lead them to where their mother was.

"Come on!" Himitsu didn't even have time to speak before her brother pulled her threw the portal.

In a blink of an eye the two sibling were standing on a familiar beach, the waves crashing against the rocks. The two looked up at the cliff overlooking the ocean, and quickly started to run home.

The path was covered with flowers Himitsu had planted with her mother, and stones that were carved to look like tentacles leading up to the house. Once the twins got close they could hear the sound of a fight, and their mother yelling. They quickly ducked behind a large octopus like rock in the yard.

A moment later the front wall of the home was blown to pieces, and their stood a man holding a sword, and the twin's mother with most of her body engulfed in water. The two looked like they had been fighting very hard, and were close to the end.

"So, I guess you've proven to be a worthy adversary for us after all." The man said. Himitsu's heart fell to her stomach as she realized her mom was face to face with a mesiter and his weapon partner.

The twins stood still, not sure of what to do.

Their mother smiled, and the water surrounding her became large tentacle like shapes pointed at the meister.

Himitsu and Torikku looked at one another, and knew they had to help their mother fight. Himitsu prepared to transform, but then felt a sharp blade appear around her neck.

"Hey Riker, we've got some spies!" The man standing behind the twins yelled, he had transformed both his hands to daggers, and held the sharp blades at the twins throats. The meister known as Riker, and the witch turned to look at the weapon.

"Himitsu! Torikku!"The witch shouted, but the moment her guard was down, Riker slashed his partner's blade into her side. The witch fell to her knees as her blood began to pour out.

"Mother!" The twins yelled.

"Let us go!" Torikku shouted, "Himitsu transform!"

Himitsu tried to think of a weapon to turn into, but she felt so scarred and numb.

"Transform? That's cute, the little witchlings think their a match for us." Riker said as he walked behind the twin's mother.

"Himitsu hurry!" Torikku yelled.

"Tori, Su, I love you both." The witch said with a stern look, "Continue with the plan."

"Relax Kaigara, we'll deal with them right after you!" Riker said as he drove the sword threw the witches heart.

"No!" Torikku screamed as he watched his mother's soul leave her body. Himitsu could only stand their in silence.

The weapon transformed back to her human form and held the soul in her hand.

Torikku used all his strength and was able to pull the blade away from his neck long enough to get a hit on the man's face. Torikku quickly shoved the man's own bladed hand into the weapon's neck.

Himitsu fell to her knees once she was released. She was covered in blood, and didn't even notice as her brother managed to kill the other meister and weapon on his own.

Crona walked in front of the hosts, and pointed Ragnarok at Masuta. No matter what happened from this point on he was going to make sure all the hosts made it to safety.

"It's fine, Crona." Maka said.

Crona didn't trust any of this, mostly because he still had no clue what Maka was talking about, but Maka had never given him a reason to doubt her before. Crona looked down at the madness that was still covering the floor, and readied himself for anything.

"Himitsu, I saw enough of your memories to know that this wasn't what you wanted." Maka said.

"Quiet girl. You know nothing of what 'I' want." Masuta said.

"I know it was your mother's plan to have you and your brother join the DWMA, and I know she was killed by a meister and two weapons in front of you two." Maka said in a soft tone.

Masuta straightened up and looked at Maka with irritation. "But do did you see any of what transpired after that?"

"Bits and pieces. Torikku blamed you for your mom's death, and since the spell she had used to keep his witch soul a secret was broken, he left the DWMA and you."

"I had the soul of a weapon, same as my father, but Torikku always loved to use his powers and that came with pros and cons." Masuta said.

"Like how he was able to use his powers to create the portal to this world." The Hosts and Crona stared at Maka with wide eyes.

"Yes." Masuta said simply. "Our mother's plan was for us to find and revive kishin Asura, and with his help we were going to take down Lord Death and rid our world of the ones who wished us dead."

"But then Torikku thought of a new plan, didn't he?" Maka asked.

It had been weeks since Torikku had disappeared. He had blamed his sister for what had happened, and left her to dispose of the bodies of their mother and her murderers. She had buried them all on the beach, no one would think of them missing for a while, and even when they did no one would even consider her or her brother to be at fault. The next day she searched everywhere for her brother, even going so far as to report him missing, which she now felt was a mistake. All it would take is for whoever found Tori to realize he had a witches soul, and he'd be dead before she could see him.

Himitsu had learned that the night of her Mother's murder Lord Death had found a portal to another world. No one knew how or why it was there, but Himitsu knew. Himitsu knew that her brother had gotten away, and she knew she only had two oppositions now: Stay here and live a happy life as a weapon, or 2: Find Torikku and do what their mother had asked of them.

Himitsu eventually decided to find her brother first before doing anything else. She used a potion her brother had created with the purpose to turn someone invisible, and used her full soul energy to complete it. This was something they had been perfecting for when they went to find kishin Asura, but now the purpose was to get into Lord Death's room, and to his mirror.

Himitsu searched the new world until she lost count of the days. At one point she found herself in the presence of the Holy Sword Excalibur, but he was no help to her in the slightest.

Eventually she did manage to find Toriku, but in a way she was too late.

Himitsu once again felt frozen as she watched her brother kill someone in a large field. "Stop!" she tried to scream, but the soul of the poor human was already in view, and Torikku had begun to eat it.

"Tori, why? How?" Himitsu cried, her brother shouldn't be able to eat souls! He's a witch, and from what little knowledge she knew of this world, the souls of the dead should not be visible.

"I figured out a new plan, Su. We don't need Asura." Torikku's voice had changed, and his once loving smile was now a sharp toothed grin.

"B-but, how are you.."

"New rules to this new world, Su. I've been figuring stuff out since I got here, and I've almost taken enough souls."

"Tori, are you a..a..Kishin?" Himistu felt tears run down her face.

Torikku began to laugh, "No, not yet. But can you imagine it, Su? The power I would have as not only a witch but also a kishin? Lord Death won't know what hit him!"

Himitsu couldn't believe what had happened to her brother.

"I just need a few more souls, Su. You can help, you just need to kill-"

"No! We don't have to do this, Tori!"

"What?" Torikku said angrily.

"We can go back, and we can-"

"Can what? Lord Death and his minions will kill us no sooner than look at us! Mom never even killed anyone and look what they did to her! So many witches who never even wanted to hurt people have been killed! And for what? So weapons and meisters can get stronger!"

"I know! It's not fair, but why should we have to fix all that? We could just go home and never deal with any of it again!" Himitsu did hate how everything was set up against them, how their mother was killed, and how revenge had taken over her brother, but this was a path she didn't think she could take.

"Su?"

"Y-yes?"

"Are you with me or not?"

Himitsu fell silent, and only a second passed before Torikku ran at her with a bloodied knife.

"Tori! What are you doing?" Himitsu cried. She kept dodging her brother's attack, but he continued to slash at her. Himitsu turned her arm into a scythe and tried to defended herself. She knew she was strong enough to stop Torikku, but she didn't want to hurt him.

"If your not with me than your just another soul for me to consume to get more power! I'm going to make Mom's dream come true, with or without you!" Torikku pulled out another knife he had been hiding under his coat, and swung down at Himitsu's chest.

"No!" Himitsu shut her eyes and on instinct turned her other hand into a blade. Everything was silent, Himitsu peered her eyes open, and then gasped in horror as she saw her bladed hand threw her brother's chest.

"Torikku!" Himitsu shouted as she pulled her weapons away, allowing her brother to fall back into her harms, "Tori..this is all my fault..I'm so sorry." Himitsu cried.

"I-It's ok." Torikku sounded like his old self again. "Su, listen."

"Don't speak, you need to rest." Himitsu gently put her brother on the ground. "We have to get help. We, we n-need to-"

"Su." Torikku grabbed his sister's hand, "Please, you have to make the plan work."

"What?" Himitsu yelled in shock.

"Himitsu, please. Become a kishin, and d-defeat..Lord Death. You..Can..." Torikku's voice started to disappear, and his eyes soon shut closed. He let go of Himitsu's hand, but she quickly grabbed it back. Himtsu didn't want to believe this was the end until she saw her brother's dark red soul appear from the wound she had dealt.

Himitsu stared at the soul, and thought about her brother's words. She thought of how much her Mother's dream had meant to them, and how much she hated Lord Death and all the other weapons and meister who had no idea how much pain they had caused. Himitsu didn't want to believe that her brother's final wish was for her to become a murderer like him, but it seems that this new third option was going to replace her original two.

"You don't have to continue like this. All of this is what your mom and brother had wanted, but you're not a kishin yet. You can stop what they started." Maka said as she started walking forward.

"Maka wait!" Crona was afraid that Maka would walk into the pool of madness, but it suddenly began to vanish. Crona and the hosts all watched in disbelief as Maka walked right up to Masuta.

"Himitsu would have never taken a life or wanted to go threw with this plan, and I know the part of her that still exists hasn't changed. " Maka said.

Masuta looked up at the meister, who extended her hand out.

"You're right, Maka Albarn." Masuta said as she moved her hand forward. "Himitsu couldn't even stomach the thought of killing, but she had to find some way to try." Masuta suddenly grabbed a hold of Maka's throat.

"Maka!" The hosts and Crona shouted. Maka tried to attack Masuta, but the kishin grabbed Soul and threw him at the hosts. Soul was quick enough to transform back before he could cut anyone, but still crashed into all of them, causing Haruhi to drop the white soul.

"Himitsu, I thought you wanted to-" Maka tried to speak as Masuta's grip tightened around her neck.

"Live a normal life? I did. I wanted a happy life with my mother and brother, and when that was taken from me I had to do something." Masuta threw Maka on to the floor. "You were right about me not being able to stomach killing though, my soul was too weak.

Masuta grabbed the white soul, and held it in her hand before suddenly digging her other hand into her chest. Masuta just smiled as she pulled out a red soul covered in madness tentacles that connected to her heart. "You know they say twins share a soul, and for me and my brother I guess its true."

Everyone quickly stood back up. Soul transformed, and Crona and Maka got in front of the hosts. Maka gritted her teeth, she had believed that she could get through to the once innocent girl, but it was becoming clear that there was going to be no other way to defeat the soon to be kishin that didn't involve destroying both the twin's souls.
