Robb led Shoshanna by the hand into the small tent. He couldn't believe she stood before him. She was real. She wasn't a dream. He could reach out and touch her. They both stood, staring at each other for a few moments before either spoke.

"Robb-"

"You-"

Robb smiled as he touched her face, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, he ran his finger across her cheek, then her lip, his smile quickly fading. "He has hurt you." He stated through clenched teeth.

Shoshanna took his hand and held it, "It does not hurt." She lied.

"Your face should never have marks upon it. Not by his hand or anyone else's. I will kill him for this." Robb promised.

"We haven't much time, Robb." Shoshanna feared. "If I am gone too long, Viserys will send an army to search."

"You are not going back to him!" Robb shouted, "You are safe now, I can protect you. I will protect you."

"Robb, please," Shoshanna touched his face.

"I have traveled far to find you. I went to Strokwen to speak with your father, I have followed the horde. I cannot let you return, Shoshanna. Please do not let me lose you again." Robb pleaded.

"So much has happened. I cannot begin to start. If I am found here, with you, we will both die." Shoshanna cried. "You have Jon and how many men with you, surely not enough for thousands of Dothraki and Viserys' armies."

"You ARE my Queen." Robb whispered.

"My King of the North, "Shoshanna kissed his hand, "Please listen to me. I need you to hear me. I will come to you. We will figure this out. I have to return, but my legs will not move from standing before you. I thought I would never see you again. Then, I saw Greywind at the creek. I thought I was dreaming. I knew he would lead me to you."

Robb pulled her into his arms and held her tight. "Do not return. We will run. We will hide if we must. We can return to Winterfell. I will keep you safe."

Shoshanna wiped the tears from her eyes, "Starks do not run from anything. I will not ask you to be a coward."

"I will be anything for you, my Queen." He told her and he meant it.

"I will not ask this of you. I will not bring this to your mother and father. I will not put your family in harm's way." Shoshanna tried to reason with him.

"They are your family! Do not ask this of me, Shoshanna. I have waited years for us to be together. I have counted the hours until you would be in my arms, when you would be my wife, My Queen of the North. We would rule Winterfell, we would have a castle of our own, and we would have three strong sons, one beautiful daughter with blue eyes like her father, a fireplace in every room." He repeated the exact words she had said to him many years ago.

Shoshanna sank to her knees and let the tears flow freely. Covering her face in her hands, she cried so hard, she could feel her heart breaking. "Robb, I love you with everything that I am. I can feel you, as if we are one. This was not the life that I had dreamt of. This is not where I wanted us to be. I will not send you into battle. I will not kill you. I will not watch you die. Please, do not make me. This is a battle that cannot be won. It is not time. It is not our time yet. I do not know what I am saying when my heart is speaking words my head is not. Know this, I love you and I will always love you. I will never love Viserys. I will never love him like I love you."

"Shoshanna, my Queen…." Robb's voice broke as he spoke, "We will figure this out together. Please. No more crying."

"Something has delayed our journey. We will not arrive in Westeros for some time. I do not know what it is, but I will find out. I will come to you again, Robb. But please, please promise me that you will stay out of sight. For now, promise me this. I will not lose you." She held onto his neck with everything she had. She tried to let him go, but she held him for a few moments longer.

"I have loved you from the first moment I saw you at Winterfell and I love you still. Until my last day, I will love you. Even in death, my heart will be yours." Robb's voice broke as he tried to hold back the tears that threatened to spill down his cheeks.

"I love you, my King of the North." Shoshanna pulled back enough to kiss him softly on the lips. They stood together, but Robb wouldn't let her go. "I have to return. Please. I will return to you."

He held onto her, "I love you, my Queen of the North."

Shoshanna pulled away from him and ran out of the tent. Robb fell to his knees, crying just like he did when he saw the parchment his father held in his hand that decided his fate.
