A/N: Happy 2018, everybody! And welcome back, after half a year, to Mega Man Star Network! I'm incredibly sorry it's taken so long. Honestly, in the time I've been gone, I have had a lot of things to have happened. One of which was me moving to Georgia, so I had to focus on that (decorating the house, getting it inspected, getting it sold, actually packing a lot of stuff into a storage unit, shipping it all back, finally getting my driver's license, about two days of driving, living in an apartment for two months, getting a new house) for the longest time.
Some good news, though: this story now has a TV Tropes page! My first one ever! So go back through this story and put some tropes in... please!
So, where were we? When we last left our heroes, they were in the middle of going to Jing Bing in 22XX-56 (or 21XX+44... honestly, I still prefer the latter). This time, for something slightly different but partially related as to WHY they're in Chonia.
Chapter 28: A Jing Bing Reunion
-AE-
Sky Town, Cyber City—22XX
Ace walked through the doors of Sky Town's Weather Control facility, Mayor Prairie at his side. "So, let me see if I have this right, Mr. Eos," Prairie said. "In the past approximately 56 years ago, something happened in Choina that caused present day Choina to be hit with flooding and all other disasters, and the only way to fix it is by you figuring out how Mr. Weather works so your away team knows how to repair it, because that Choinese Weather Control system is based off the one we had developed in Cyber City approximately 200 years ago before we were thrown forward in time?"
"I know, it's a very bizarre topic," Ace confessed, taking a bite out of his Mega Snack. "But that is what's happening. We have our best team working on the problem on top of a rescue mission, but if there's anything I can do here, I'd appreciate your cooperation."
"Well, I can't just let the people of Choina suffer if I can help it," Prairie said. "I'll talk to the facility's manager with you, and we can see what we can do. In the meantime, since you don't have a Navi to work with, you could use some help who knows special systems of Cyber City better than I do." Pulling out her PET, she said, "Hey, Aile?"
"Yes, Mayor Prairie?" Aile asked.
"Could you do me a favor and contact your brother and his Operator?"
"Yes, Ma'am," Aile agreed. "Contacting Vent, now." The PET's phone began to dial.
"So, who is this Vent person?" Ace questioned.
"Like I implied, Vent is Aile's older brother," Prairie said. "Whereas Aile is the head of Cyber City's Net Police. Meanwhile, Vent, is a former Official. He and his Operator are retired, but Vent's Operator is a legend in both battling and virus busting. The only two people to ever match Vent's Operator are Lan Hikari and Eugene Chaud."
"Eugene Chaud?" Acid repeated. "Ace, isn't that the name of Lan Hikari's rival?"
"Yeah, I think I heard about that," Ace frowned. "Who on earth could match them both?"
"Mayor Prairie," an older male voice greeted. "It's not everyday the mayor of Cyber City calls on me personally. To what do I owe the pleasure of this call?"
"Hi, Baryl," Prairie smiled. "Could I ask you to come to Sky Town? We need to do a weather check."

Jing Bing Outskirts—22XX-56
Luna's Time Travelers noticed that they were pulling up to a bus station on the edge of the city. From there, they could see so many things being set up for the New Year's Festival. Fireworks stands, decorations, food booths, and that was just one street. The whole city was lit up. But the strangest thing noticed by Lan and Dex was the giant billboard featuring a winking girl just a couple years younger than them with blonde hair in pigtails and a large forehead advertising certain technology.
"No way," Dex said as they got off the bus. "Is that… Yai!?"
"Wow, that's lucky!" Roll beamed.
"What's she doing here in Choina, though!?" Dex asked.
"Apparently doing well," Lan replied.
"Wait, you know that girl?" Zack asked as he held up his Hunter-VG to translate the Choinese script. He then read, "'Ayano Tech Industries is hosting a Choinese New Year's Party on the SS Yai, in honor of the founding of the missing heiress of the company. Come see the technological marvels we have cooked up and meet Yai Ayanokoji!' Lan, how do you know the Ayano Tech CEO who would eventually help create the technology for the Transers that would evolve into the Star Carriers and Hunter-VGs?"
"She did WHAT!?" Dex asked. "Aw, man… I just want to be Mayor of Den City!"
"Oh, right," Lan explained, "we forgot to mention that the reason why we're so used to seeing Luna being a rich kid is because our friend Yai is also a rich kid. She's also a grade skipper."
"Neat," Luna said. "You could have mentioned that your friend was THE Yai Ayanokoji, though."
"To be fair, we didn't know she did all of this before time got scrambled," Dex added.
Luna shrugged. "Well, that's another part of your Purpose, Lan. We'll have to get on that boat, but we have to fulfill our other Purpose, too. So, how do we go about finding Amy…?"
"You there!" a male voice their age called over to them. The team turned to see a cloaked figure walking towards them. "Lan Hikari. I should be more surprised than I am to see you, here."
"H-Huh?" Lan asked. "How do you know who I am?"
"It doesn't matter how," the cloaked boy said. "What does is I do. And I need you to come with me right now."
"Hold on!" Luna scowled, getting between Lan and the boy. "Who the heck are you, buddy, trying to take my friend Lan away!?"
"Young lady, this is above your clearance," the boy said. "And how the heck do you know who this kid is?" Looking at the SN-PET clipped to Luna's side, he demanded, "And where did you get Mayl Sakurai's PET, and how did you get it upgraded!?"
"How the heck do YOU know who Lan is!?" Luna shot back. "And how do you know about Roll and Mayl!? Are you working for Chromos!? Where did you take her!?"
"Chromos? Me?" the boy asked. "Don't make me laugh. If anyone is working for a time-traveling cyber-terrorist organization, I think you fit the bill better than me!"
"Aha!" Luna cheered. "So you DO admit you're a time traveler and know what Chromos is up to!" The boy groaned in frustration at the blonde. "And the only people who are capable of time traveling on your own are us working with WAZA, Chromos, these strange Chroniclers, and Rogue! You can't be Rogue since you would have already made a move by now and you would have targeted Geo! And I've never met you in 22XX, so you can't be with WAZA. So that makes you either a Chronicler or a member of Chromos!"
"So you're from the future responsible for what happened to Cyber City," the boy mused. "Interesting."
"Ghk!" Luna flinched. "W-Well, you're not taking Lan anywhere, and that's final!"
"Prez," Geo warned, "I don't think this is a fight you want to start. There's something about this guy…."
"Geo," Luna argued, "this guy is threatening Lan and we don't know who he's working with or for! I'm protecting all of my Brothers, including you and Lan!"
"Brothers?" the boy asked. "This future is getting weirder and weirder." Turning to Lan, he said, "The kind of company you keep now is strange, Lan. But at least I know you're not in any immediate danger."
"...It can't be," Lan realized. "What are you doing here!?"
"I should ask you the same question," the boy said.
"Hey, how do you know each other!?" Geo asked.
"Classified," the boy replied before Lan could respond. Turning to Lan, he said, "And don't you tell them, either. I need to know if these people from 22XX can be trusted, since their technology is responsible for this mess." Turning to Geo, he said, "Meet my Navi in Jing Area 2's Bing Square. Prove yourself there, and I might be willing to allow Lan to explain who I am." Turning to a robotic panda, he instructed, "That should allow you access to the Net and take you directly to the Square. I'll be waiting." The boy then walked away.
"That was… strange," Zack confessed. "Geo, you're not going to accept that, are you? It's clearly a trap."
"It sounded a lot more like a challenge," Omega-Xis grinned. "And you know I can't say no to those!"
"Well, he's clearly been here longer," Jack said. "We kind of have no choice but to face this guy. Hey, who is he?"
"He's—" Lan started.
"We should let him and his Navi do the talking," Hub suggested. "That is, if it's really those two. Let's just say you have your hands full, Geo."
"Mega," Roll asked. "Was it really them?"
"Has to be," Hub agreed.
"No way," Dex said. "How many people do we know are time travelers?"
"This is giving me a headache," Geo said. After looking around to make sure nobody was watching, he called, "Trans-Code #003! Mega Man!"
-003-
Jing Area—Bing Square
Geo touched down in the square, seeing the massive decor that reminded one of feudal China. There was also a baby panda wallpaper, and while that was adorable, the red Navi standing in the middle of the Square while other Navis and even Wizards gave him a wide berth was anything but adorable. The white ponytail, the black bodysuit, the black and white insignia on his chest, and the visor over his eyes seemed to give off an intimidating vibe.
Hub, Roll, and GutsMan all came in behind Geo. "Wow," Roll said. "It really IS him!" She then turned to Geo, and said, "Oh, and nice to meet you face-to-face, by the way. You really do look like Mega, Geo, save for a few details."
"Um, thanks," Geo nervously blushed.
"The resemblance IS uncanny," the red Navi noticed, walking over to them. "So, another Mega Man exists in the future? This is an interesting world we live in."
"ProtoMan," Hub greeted. "It's been too long!"
"ProtoMan!?" Luna asked from the real world. "Geo, isn't that the Navi of Lan's friend who's an Official? What was his name again?"
"The name's Eugene Chaud," the boy from earlier replied. "So, you know who I am… but I'm still not finished with this test. ProtoMan… let's see what this other Mega Man is capable of. Battle routine, set!"
Geo was thrown off guard by this, especially as ProtoMan's right arm turned into a sword. "Execute!"
"Quick, kid!" Omega-Xis called. "He's coming!"
"G-got it!" Geo said. "Wave Battle! Ride on!"
Geo had to dodge ProtoMan suddenly warping in front of him, and had to block the Step Sword strike with his shield. Geo eventually dropped the shield to pull out the Mega Buster, and opened fire. The red Navi easily swatted away the shots, before lunging at Geo. The EM-Wave Changer was grazed by the attack, but he recovered quickly enough.
"Okay, that does does it," he said, checking his Battle Cards. He spotted Mr. Mach's face and BlastMan. "Historic Wave! BlastMan, On the Air!" When ProtoMan turned around, he saw the future Mega Man erupt in flames. When the fires died down, Geo's armor had turned brownish gray, Geo's left hand changed into the nozzle of a flamethrower, his hair was turned into fire, with his father's pendant turning red.
"An interesting transformation," Chaud observed. "I shouldn't have underestimated the future. ProtoMan, let's go!"
"Roger!" ProtoMan answered. He then tried using Step Sword again, but Geo was ready this time, dodging out of the way.
"Battle Card! Mech Flame!" Geo said, sliding the card. His flamethrower arm turned into an even BIGGER flamethrower, and he opened fire with it, hitting ProtoMan. "Got you!"
"For now," ProtoMan said. "Chaud, Battle Chip."
"Got it," Chaud agreed. "Aqua Sword Battle Chip in, download!" The next thing Geo knew, ProtoMan's arm turned into a blade made of water, and had to barely avoid being slashed by it. "Now, Sword, Wide Sword, and Long Sword Battle Chips in, Download!"
"Geo, get out of there!" Hub called. Geo was about to ask why, when ProtoMan's sword arm became much, much longer.
"Life Sword Program Advance, ready," ProtoMan answered.
"Drill Arm Battle Card In!" Geo called, barely swiping it in time to dodge the swipe. However, when he had the drill up, the tip was slashed off before he could even fire up the drill, returning his arm to its regular state. He even deactivated Blast Historic, seeing that he couldn't beat how quick ProtoMan was.
"Enough, ProtoMan," Chaud said. "I'm satisfied with that."
"Roger," ProtoMan agreed, standing down. Geo panted while looking at the barely even fazed ProtoMan returned his sword to an arm. "Not bad," the red Navi said. "Chaud, what do you think?"
"The future has interesting people," Chaud said. "Not once in that battle did we hear communication between Operator and Navi. This means either they're in full synchro the whole time… or the future has Navis no longer. Instead these 'EM-Wave beings' and 'Wizards' that were in the report."
"That's a disturbing thought," ProtoMan said. Turning to the MegaMan he was used to dealing with, ProtoMan asked, "Is it true, though, MegaMan?"
"Sadly," Hub said. "Anyway, ProtoMan, Chaud, Lan and I are glad to hear from you! We have a huge problem!"
"I'll say," Chaud said. "After that battle, I think these guys are trustworthy enough. We can share intel. But not in this space. Too many Wizards and Navis just saw that battle. Find ProtoMan in Jing Area 3. We'll open a chat there and talk privately."
With that, ProtoMan walked through to the Square's exit. Hub groaned. "Lan, Chaud WOULD make this difficult, wouldn't he?"
"I thought he was your friend," Luna said. "Yet he was fast and strong enough to give Geo a run for his Zenny!"
"Oh, that," Roll said. "It's true Mega and ProtoMan are kind of friends, but ProtoMan's Operator Chaud and Lan aren't always close. Chaud started off antagonistic to Lan, seeing him as an obstruction of justice since Lan and Mega frequently butted into WWW and Gospel affairs. After proving themselves, Chaud relied on Lan and Mega. Even then, the two occasionally have butted heads."
"Neat, Roll!" Mode chirped. The female Navi smiled.
"Anyway, you saw ProtoMan in action," Roll said.
"Yeah, he was though," Geo groaned. "Why do I feel that if he wanted me deleted, he could have done so easily?"
"Welcome to my world," Hub replied. "Anyway, we SHOULD catch up to him. Jing Area 3, right?"
Jing Area
Through Jing Area, it was no surprise there were plenty of viruses. Thanks to the removal of Wily and his programs from the timeline (and no effort to replace them), the viruses seemed significantly tougher. Luckily, they were able to defeat them, and Lan even taught Luna how to operate Roll in Mayl's absence… although not without some minor heartbreak all around. Eventually, the group came across ProtoMan.
"So, you made it," ProtoMan said. "Good… I've already set up the chat. Let's get sharing."
"So, what do we do?" Luna asked.
"Think of it like a phone conversation," Lan explained.
"I'll make sure nobody's looking our direction," Zack said.
Luna's Time Travelers took turns sharing with Chaud and ProtoMan about what has happened with the timeline. For their part, Chaud and ProtoMan took it all rather well, even Mayl's kidnapping by Chromos right after they had succeeded in 20XX+20 Creamland.
"I'm sorry to hear about Mayl," Chaud said. "I really am, Lan. Other than MegaMan and your parents, Lan, it's safe to say there's hardly anyone that close to you as she is. If anything, this is exactly like what happened with your father at the hands of Dr. Regal. But Mayl's not the only person we have to worry about. Speaking of him, your father is important, too. If anyone we could trust that could help us fix this mess, it's him. I was hoping to question if you have any ideas about his whereabouts through time, but you clearly don't know."
"I wish," Lan replied. "All I remember is that he and Mom were together before being sucked into the Time Waves, and he told me that we'd find each other. However, we're still not 100 percent certain on the rules of time travel."
"We aren't, either," ProtoMan said.
"Alright, guts," GutsMan said, "we've shared, now your turn. What are YOU doing in 22XX-56 Choina?"
"To the people here, it's 21XX+44, but I think I know what you're talking about," Chaud answered. "Like I said, we were trying to find clues on Dr. Hikari's whereabouts since Wilshire Hills was put in 20XX. He was last seen frantically leaving SciLab with his wife, only saying that they needed to go to the town from the future." ProtoMan looked at Hub while Chaud added, "And reviewing the footage of what was seen from Wilshire Hills, we found out YOU were there during the incident, Lan."
"Oh, right," Lan recalled. "That's why Mom and Dad went to Wilshire Hills that day."
"Lan, I feel like we've had this conversation before countless times," Chaud sighed. "Regardless of being on the Anti-Nebula Net Liberation Team, you are NOT an Official. Which means you have next to no authority investigating any of the events you do. When someone tells you to not do something, you're supposed to listen and avoid getting involved. And this time, your reckless curiosity has put not just your friends and family, but the entire timeline in jeopardy. What the heck were you thinking, investigating without contacting me?"
"That's a little harsh, isn't it?" Geo asked.
"He's always like this," Dex replied to Geo.
"Look, Chaud," Lan said, "you're right, I screwed up again. Bigger than I've ever screwed up before. It was a trap and I fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. Now, Cain and his organization are free to do whatever they want literally whenever they want, Mayl is being held prisoner by them, and the only person we can trust who has interacted with Cain and could possibly outsmart him—my dad—is missing. And it's all my fault. Do you think I haven't beaten myself up for it? Trust me, I have."
"I can vouch for him," Geo added.
"But I'm trying to fix it, just like I always do when I mess up. So, if you're gonna try to make me abandon this quest, I'm not. This is BEYOND personal, now… so please, let me do right and help save the world."
Chaud was quiet for a brief period of time. "You know, Lan," he said, "if you gave this to the old me, I wouldn't have cared your reasoning. I would have seen you as just a juvenile delinquent and spoiled brat who sticks his nose into areas he just should not, hiding behind his genius father when things go wrong, and deleted your Navi and arrested you to show you that you are not invincible. But… you've changed me, and I've changed you. I'm still upset that you keep doing things like this without consulting the Officials, but I understand you well enough to know your motivations. And I've seen you in action well enough to know who'd have my back if I needed help. While I'm still iffy about your allies from the future, this future Mega Man seems at least seems capable of handling himself." Chaud then said, "Alright, we'll work together for now. ProtoMan, we're cooperating."
"Understood," ProtoMan nodded. "So, MegaMan, what's our next step?"
"Me?" Geo asked.
"I think he's talking to me," Hub replied. Turning to his red and white rival, Hub explained, "Well, before we got sidetracked by you and Chaud, we were in the middle of looking for someone who came here from the future, and we ended up finding where Yai was…"
"Yai Ayanokoji," ProtoMan recalled from their conversation. "Getting on that boat will be difficult without an invitation, but it's your best bet at finding Yai. As for this Amy girl, she's a lot harder to track down."
"Hold on," Chaud said. "She's tan, about our age, and wearing a yellow-orange ski dress, right?"
"Yeah," Lan said. "Why, you've seen her?"
"About a few hours ago, yeah," Chaud answered. "She was looking a bit fidgety, but a quick scan of her from my PET showed no dangerous equipment on her or signs of a virus on her OS device, so I ignored her. Last time I saw her was around the food stalls near the street you guys are at. Maybe she's still here, but it's been a few hours."
"Thanks, Chaud!" Lan said.
"Don't thank me yet," Chaud said. "I may need your help… a lot of people are getting worried about the weather, lately, saying that the snowstorms are coming more often and the seas are becoming more and more dangerous."
"Weather?" Geo asked. "...Hang on. Pedia?"
"Yes, Mr. Stelar?" Pedia asked.
"Could you do a quick history update on Choinese weather in Jing Bing from 21XX+44 to 22XX?"
"Of course," the smart Wizard nodded. "Scanning… uh-oh."
"What does 'uh-oh' mean?" ProtoMan asked. An Air Display popped up in front of him. "Huh… so, approximately 24 hours from now, a huge hurricane impacts the country, flooding it and killing thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of innocent people. Well, that's not good. Furthermore, the weather protection device that's meant to defend southern Choina was heavily sabotaged beyond repair to increase the power of the storm, and would causing massive flooding for the next several decades, making much of southern Choina uninhabitable."
"Ooh, we can't tell Jasmine," Lan winced. "But we have another crisis on our hands."
"I'm already updating our new Purpose," Luna added.
"Purpose?" Chaud asked.
"It's goal setting," Lan explained. "We have to Stop the Storm and Save Amy. Which means we have to find the device and stop whatever sabotage is done to it."
"Easier said than done," Chaud said. "I did some digging in my spare time, looking up this device. The Weather Facility was built on an island off the mainland. Said island is surrounded by rather harsh weather… a side effect of these increased storms. You would need to make an approach by sea to get to the island, and that would require a specific engine on the boat. The only boat with a Supra Engines available to the public in Choina right now is the SS Yai."
"In short," Luna concluded, "we have a party to get to, anyway. What's the dress code, Eugene?"
"One, just call me 'Chaud'. And two, did you forget the party's invitation only?"
"Well, we just have to find a way to get invited," Zack said. "How do we do that?"
"That we don't know," ProtoMan replied. "We have been so focused on locating Dr. Hikari that we considered securing Yai Ayanokoji a minor concern. Now that we know her company's ship is key to averting this new dark future, getting on board seems an immediate priority. Wouldn't you say so, Chaud?"
"While it's not exactly our time period," Chaud said, "we as Officials are obligated to help defend people regardless of wherever and whenever we are. So, Lan… just this once, we'll work alongside these people from the future. However, the deal still stands: we trust each other one step at a time."
"Agreed," Luna nodded. "Alright, so, we'll look on the Net for a way to get onboard the SS Yai. We should split up to secure our objectives, however. Someone needs to find Amy to get her back to 22XX. That should keep her safe and motivate Bud to get well, soon. Meanwhile, someone else needs to find a way on the ship."
"Got it, Prez," Geo confirmed. "Lan, since you know Yai better, I think you should look on the Net for figuring out how to get on board. As for Amy, leave that to me and Jack."
"Geo, why are you splitting up tasks like that?" Zack asked. "Prez didn't even tell us who was doing what!"
"Just a reasonable approach," Geo said. "I'm a stranger to Yai, so why would she open her boat to me, another Mega Man she could confuse for her friend's Navi?" Everyone nodded, noticing that is was a good point. "Alright, I'll pulse out for now. And Chaud? It was nice to meet you."
"We'll see if that is mutual," Chaud replied. "Contact me again when you have an update. Chaud out." ProtoMan jacked out, leaving Geo to pulse out right behind him, and Hub, GutsMan, and Roll to look at each other and Pedia, and begin to backtrack.
-HH-
"I can't believe it," Roll beamed. "We're so close to being reunited with Yai and Glyde!"
"Yeehaw!" GutsMan grinned. "It's like we've almost got the whole band back together!"
"Miss Roll," Pedia asked, "what is Glyde like?"
"Well, he's smart like you, Pedia," Roll explained. "He's more or less Yai's butler. He's not as tough as Mega and GutsMan are, though, but he and I have sparred a lot."
"You know," Hub realized, "I've never battled Glyde. I've battled you and GutsMan, Roll, but not Glyde."
"We better look for the local Chat BBS," Lan suggested. "Maybe somebody's talked about the upcoming party and wondered how to get on board."
"It's really surprising how quickly news traveled on the Net back before we switched completely to Wave technology," Luna noticed as they found a forum. "...Hey, what's this? Translating to Electopian… bingo!"
Poster: AyanoTech
Subject: Meet Yai!
'Good day, ladies and gentlemen! We of Ayano Tech are announcing that we are giving away VIP tickets for four people for the Official SS Yai maiden voyage! The winner of these passes will get a full tour of the ship, including an opportunity to have a private meeting with our lost princess returned, Miss Yai Ayanokoji. Come to Bing Square approximately 2 hours after this post is placed up for more details.'
"Pedia," Zack asked, "how long ago has this post been placed up?"
"Approximately one hour, fifty minutes," Pedia answered. The three Navis' eyes widened while the Wizard realized what they had figured out. "Oh… that is bad."
Kingdom Rider92's Notes: So, yeah, time for mad dash backtracking!
And while you welcome back Chaud, you're probably wondering why is he NOW getting involved? Simple: Chaud's been involved since the beginning (it's his job as an Official to look into bizarre events), but he's not exactly been able to get in contact with Lan. To be fair, time travel in this universe is pretty weird. Furthermore, imagine things from his perspective. Lan, a known trouble magnet, is traveling with a group of strangers in a time period that's clearly not his own, and no doubt chaos will follow. Needless to say, he wants to get Lan out of Choina as soon as possible, and he's naturally suspicious of anyone not a part of the Officials.
Geo may be a detective, but not in Chaud's timeline.
So, I have a lot of reviews that need tending to, so here goes:
Plasma57: You know, I actually thought about him when I was making the original idea for this story. So far, the answer is going to be "no", only because he's been arrested twice.
Matteso585: Avalanches, maybe? But Amy's ancestors? I didn't think about that, but I've assumed this whole time she was from specifically Electopia but has gone to Choina for skiing competitions. And thanks for setting up the TV Tropes page.
JaneValentine007: Yeah, Bud's got to sit most of the action out, but he's with the rest of Luna's Time Travelers in spirit. And thanks for the pictures, by the way.
Rockster: Yeah, I realized that when I was writing the scenario that literally anyone else would not have been so lucky, so I couldn't let Bud get out of that completely unschathed... hence, he's sick. But yeah, as someone who actually ships Bud and Amy, I couldn't help myself and have him be her guardian.
Luna, by Star Network, has taken a considerable level in kindness compared to Star Force, but she does understand what Lan and Roll are going through with Mayl's kidnapping, and wants to help in any way she can. She knows Bud is concerned for Amy and his feelings for her, and since Bud and Lan are her Brothers, she wants what she feels is best for them.
I'm pretty sure if Sonia wasn't in the middle of trying to save Choina, she'd appreciate your lesson on Choinese. I at least do. Well, I wanted to make use of those in Project Trans-Code, so I had them doing some vacationing... at least Damien. He does work as a school gardener, and Wolf Woods does like sparring, so Kung Foo Kid would be the best partner. Finally, Xiao Long is actually based off of Hong Kong. I know it's not exactly a part of China, but it's close enough for this story.
And yes, actually, Blackbeard's altered the timeline. In the now altered future, Blackbeard had sabotaged and destroyed the Weather Control Machine that protected Choina from coastal storms, which resulted in coastal storm that kill hundreds if not THOUSANDS of people. And you thought he was bad in Battle Network 6 where he releases a bunch of dangerous aquarium animals into Cyber City's water system.
And yeah, I'm now aware of the whole 22XX-56/21XX+44. Either one is honestly acceptable, since they're pretty much the same year.
V01dSw0rd: You have a very good point, now that I think about it. I'll have to actually think about how to balance the two.
Eeveechan: ...Oh my god, it's so cute. Anyway, sorry you had to wait, but I like answering reviews, it makes me feel nice to comment on what people say and let them know that, yes, I read your guys's reviews.
We'll get to Zero and Patch, soon.
Wiechcheu1925: I have to warn you, now, that I'm sporadic with updates. Not because I don't want to update, but I'm not always in stable spots to write, these days, I get my interests altered at times, and I want to make sure that whatever I put out is actually good. I'm sorry, I don't have a schedule for my stuff.
kirbypikachu2: Okay, so I'm hoping I translated this right.
Alright, that should be everyone. Next time on Mega Man Star Network, we'll see what Geo is up to, and make a dash to try to meet up with Yai. Farewell, my subjects!
