And the last of my roll for now. :D

"Butch and Sundance are back!" -Mike

I was in Harvey's office studying. He had to be in the office even though I didn't have school. It had something to do about a pipe bursting. Not that I cared. I was ahead of the grade curve anyway and was on the fast track to graduating with honors. I had been there all day, not realizing I had already thrown my hair up or that I had already gotten through half my missed homework. When I studied, I zoned into it, focused on it until it was done. It was how I had gotten my good grades before. None of it really had to do with the fact that my mother was a lawyer.

Occasionally, I would look up, making sure my environment hadn't changed around me before returning to my work. When Donna would walk in to talk to Harvey, she'd bring in the notes Mike wanted to send to me since I had practically ignored my phone when I was studying. As I read them, smiling at his words, I'd occasionally send a note or two back to Mike. It had been like that all day. I was about done with my work, screwing around since I had gotten bored of my work with doodles of various things in the margins of my work, Mike walked in. I didn't know he was there until he stopped to me.

Mike bent down, like he was helping me with a problem I had been working on, and pecked my cheek, making sure no sound emitted from him. After he leaned in, like he was showing me, and pointed to something. But what he said to me had nothing to do with homework.

"I was hoping I'd see you before you and Harvey left for the night. I'm really glad you're here," he muttered so only I heard. I could only imagine what Harvey thought we were talking about.

Mike stood straight, fixing his tie as I started back to writing my name on the paper to make it look like he had actually helped me. From there, he turned to Harvey, who didn't look too happy. Like he ever was.

"Please say those are my briefs," Harvey said with a tone that only promised an ass kicking if Mike disappointed him. No wonder Mike's grandmother called Harvey a hard-ass to his face. He really was.

I watched Mike as he casually made himself presentable and tossed the briefs onto Harvey's desk. "Yeah, proof read three times, no mistakes, and memorized. I'm good at this."

I saw that smile Mike wore, seeing the pride he had behind it. He really did love what he did.

Harvey glanced to him with that look as he picked up the briefs and skimmed over them. "You better be for what I pay you."

Mike's proud smile only turned into a smirk. Was he thinking the same about the two different versions of briefs like I was?

"You pay me the equal amount between my work and the shit I have to deal with."

Harvey looked up to him from the papers that gleamed against the sun. "Louis isn't shit."

I turned from Harvey, letting my back face him as my mind went back to my preivous thought of briefs being underwear. In an instant, my brain connected the two. I let out a snicker, thinking the whole situation was hilarious. If only Mike and Harvey knew what was in my mind.

"No," Mike started slowly, perhaps wondering why Harvey mentioned Louis. "But Kyle and Greg and the rest of the Harvard drones are. They all seem to make the same mistakes."

Just as I turned back to face Mike, I smiled to him while Harvey's eyes were adverted to the briefs for a brief moment. But I asked in a completely serious tone, my eyes showing the laughter I knew Mike liked. "How do you know they aren't really robotic drones?"

It was like I had forgotten Harvey was in the room. Mike's presence just put me at ease, making me forget my worries.

Mike smiled to me, turning to me as he answered, "I don't, but it wouldn't surprise me. They act like they all either share a brain or were all programmed from the same program."

I let out a small giggle as I smiled, thinking about some tech guy programming androids. "A dime a dozen," I said with a lighthearted voice, keeping my smile that Mike put there. I had temporarily forgot that Harvey was in the room and didn't know Mike and I were dating.

"Make it a penny," Mike said with the same, amused smile.

I giggled again, picturing elegant, graceful Jessica going to a Harvard, douche-bag drone store and paying a penny for a baker's dozen of the Harvard drones that looked like Kyle and Greg and the rest of the associates that resided in the bull pen.

I really had no idea what Harvey was doing or what his facial expression was. In all honestly, I really didn't care. What I really cared about was Mike staying right there for the time being. After a few more jokes and wise-cracks at the associates' expense. Not that Mike took any offense to it at all, which really made me wonder.

From the corner of my eye, I watched as Harvey wrote down something on a yellow sticky note. I wondered what it was, but dismissed it as easily as the wonder came to me. I tried not to care, but, just like how I pretended I didn't want to forgive Harvey, I really did.

Mike eventually looked around. "I should get back to the bullpen. Doing anything fun this weekend?"

Oh, I knew what I was doing over the weekend and it didn't involve hiding out in my room at Harvey's. I was heading to Donna's to go on a date with Mike. It was our first attempt and, surprisingly, Donna was willing to give up a girls' night for this.

I shrugged as I answered him. "Going to Donna's for a girls' night."

Mike smiled. "Have fun, sounds like you need it after some of your texts."

I nodded, knowing very well that this was all a lie, but we had to make it convincing. Harvey was in the room and still had no clue that Mike and I were romantically together. Which was a very good thing. "I am excited."

Mike smiled a little brighter. "That's great. I hope you have some fun over the weekend."

I nodded with a smile, a blush creeping onto my face. "I know I will."

Donna watched me from her bathroom doorway as I got ready for Mike to pick me up like a mom would watch her daughter get ready for a first date. The feeling both warmed my heart and made it drop. It made me remember Mom and her expressions as she watched me get ready for my first date with a boyfriend.

Donna watched me for a moment, her expression soft like her features yet excited. "I am sure Robin is smiling at you for getting out."

I smiled a little, finishing my make-up. "Me too. Just makes me miss her a little."

Donna nodded with a heavy sigh that just came from breathing. "Yeah, I am sure. Just like I am sure she's rooting for you and Mike like I am."

I smiled a little more as I thought about it. "I wonder how she would have handled all this."

Donna chuckled. "I don't know her enough to make that judgement call."

She followed me into my room as I put on my favorite leather, rider's jacket that matched my dark, faded jeans and boots. After adjusting everything, I looked into Donna's floor length mirror she had in her bedroom. I hardly heard the door knock let alone hear Donna talk until she called me back into the front room.

"Hey, Charlie, Mike's here!"

I jumped a little, heart starting at a sudden pound of nervousness. Was I even ready for this? Is my outfit too much or too under dressed? I looked again. My hair was curled into softer locks, my make-up was nearly spot on, and my outfit was drop-dead amazing. So what was my problem? Oh yeah, I was in love with Mike who had way more experience than I at this dating thing. I walked out and saw Mike, my worries vanished. He wasn't dressed up or anything. He was dressed like Mike. I smiled as soon as I saw his face go from a smile to his mouth hanging open in surprise.

"Holy shit," he started, "Charlie, you look amazing tonight."

I blushed when I heard that. "Thank you."

Donna smirked, chuckling a little. "Hey, Mike, you're catching flies."

Mike shook his head, dragging himself from the shock. "You ready to go?"

I nodded. "Yeah," I said as I turned from him to Donna. "We'll be back later."

"No later than midnight, Mike. She is still a minor and I can only hold my own from Harvey for so long."

Mike chuckled. "Yeah, I know. I was going to call if we were going to be late."

With that, Mike and I left Donna's apartment. As soon as Donna's door was shut tightly and we were nearly to the elevator, Mike pressed me against the wall, my back pressing the buttons to summon the elevator, and kissed me. My hands clasped around his arms as I kissed him back, my body relaxing under him. When we parted, he smiled to me.

"Houston, we might have a problem."

I giggled as soon as his quiet, smooth voice said those words. "And what is that?"

"I can't keep my eyes off you."

"And your hands?"

"I am trying to resist the urge. I am losing the battle. Terribly."
