Rose was pacing back and forth in her room with the teleportation device in her hands trying to decide what to do. She had just learned that Loki was suffering greatly in Asgard and Thor had begged her to come back to that universe to help save his brother.
"Rose what is there to think about? Just go!" Tracy urged.
Rose looked at her then down at the device, taking a breath she hit the button. There was a flash of light and Rose dropped to the floor. Sitting up Rose looked at the team. "What are you waiting for Thor? I need to see that idiot and make sure he doesn't die."
*TMG*
Tracy was sitting in Rose's chair talking on her phone. "Yeah I pushed her. She was going to end up dying because of her stubbornness."
"Tracy you can't play these games and expect to get away with them. We have rules for a reason." Simon warned her.
"To hell with the rules! You know just what happens if we lose her. Rose is key in dealing with Fox as well as handling the Marvel side of things." Tracy sighed. "Any news from our Marvel agents?"
"No. We've lost contact with them three days before Fox contacted Rose. We believe there might be a connection between the two events. Perhaps our agents were the ones to tell him about her while tortured." Simon had pretty much written the men off.
"Alright. But Rose is now in that universe and on her way to Loki. Look I know you don't like how I do somethings but don't forget that I am her friend. Yes it's only suppose to look to her like I'm a friend to her but part of being that friend is pushing things and make her do things she doesn't want to do but that she would be best off doing. Maybe if you spent less time in the office and more time in the real world you'd remember that." Tracy didn't mean it to sound harsh. She was worried about her brother not spending any time on anything but work.
Simon sighed. "Alright Tracy. I'll let this one go for now. Just make sure that Rose doesn't die on us and that she gets Loki back. I don't know what fate brought those two together but they seem to work good together."
"Understood boss." Tracy then hung up and watched Rose travel to Asgard,
*TMG*
The moment her feet touched ground Rose was walking fast past Hemidall and towards the city. "Thor move it! I want to give Loki a piece of my mind."
Thor quickly caught up to her. "Then allow me to take you. I know the fastest way to my brother." When she nodded Thor took Rose into his arms and flew them both.
The trip was fast and after going down some halls and stairs Rose found herself before Loki's cell. Loki was paler then she remembered and he seemed to be shaking as he lay in the bed. Rose nearly forgot about her anger towards him. "Loki?" She called.
He opened his eyes and looked at her. "You're not really here. Just a imagine conjured by my mind." He shut his eyes and rolled over.
Rose slammed her hand against the magic barrier that was keeping her away from Loki. After hissing in pain Rose glared at him. "Get over here so I can yell at you you idiot!" She snapped.
Loki turned his head and she could see a raised brow. "Odd, normally you are more kind."
"I'm not a delusion you moron! Now get on your feet and over here so that I can yell at your face!" She growled.
Loki slowly sat up and stared at her. "Rosetta? You're here?"
Rose rolled her eyes. "Duh! I heard what was happening to you and came to see you myself. Now get yourself over here!"
Loki pushed himself off the bed and walked towards her. Rose noticed that the closer he got the stronger he seemed to be. "Why are you here?"
"I here because something is wrong with you." Rose then looked him over. "But you seem fine now. And oddly enough I feel better too. Why do I feel better?"
Loki frowned before he too noticed the change. "You're right. I feel like myself again. Not the slightest hint of pain or weakness. How is this possible?"
Rose had a thought. "When did you feel the first pain?" Loki appeared about to refuse to answer till Rose narrowed her eyes. "We need to figure out how we are both better and why this is happening."
"Fine. It was shortly after you left. I had stopped when that man, Xavier I believe asked to speak with me. After I finished with him I went to join the others on their way out of the mansion and suddenly I was in pain. It lasted less then a minute and I didn't feel it again until after I was placed in this cell. You?" Loki asked.
"I had been home for half a day before the first headache hit me. Before coming back here I had fainted during a very bad one."
Loki frowned. "Since we know time does not flow differently between our two universes the only thing that explains why we fell victim to these affliction is that I was in Asgard and you your universe."
"So then we need to stay together other wise we could die?" When Loki nodded Rose wasn't sure if she should laugh or groan.
"I will tell father of this." Thor said before taking off.
Loki sighed. "Get comfortable Rosetta. For I doubt Odin will let you take me back to your universe." Loki returned to his bed and relaxed.
"We'll see about that." Rose pulled the teleportation device from her pocket.
Loki smiled at her. "Clever girl. But how will you get in here with me?"
"Simple. I'll just say that you need to be closer to me to fully recover. I'm sure you can make it convincing." Rose tucked the device back into her pocket and smirked in a very Loki way.
"And the 24 hours it takes before it can be reused?" He asked her.
"I'm sure we can wait a day." She shrugged as she leaned against the side of he cell.
Loki looked slightly impressed as he returned to his bed.
