My Tooth Fairy
Coming together
ENJOY!
"Get something to eat, I'll wait here."
The voice rang through Kili's ears as she waited in line for the food that most called sustenance while she called it mush. It filled her though, enough until she reached the next human city. With the help of Mirage they procured the cities and set the humans free, of course though the humans had to stay within the confines of their city lest the wish to die of no oxygen. But there were no more guards and Mirage kept patched in with each cities comm. link so that when someone called in he would state that everything was alright, no need to come down.
"Hey, It's the Masked Warrior!" Someone yelled from across the hall. Kili looked over her shoulder, her black and green armor glinting under the light.
People tramped up to her gleefully and shook her hand, thanking her for what she was doing. Others hugged her, some smiled, and some asked her to remove her helmet. She kept it on, wanting to keep her identity a secret, why, she didn't exactly know herself.
"Lemme, guess, you want a back room?"
Kili blinked at the man behind the counter. The words gnawed at her before she nodded and he led her off to one of the back rooms. She walked in as he clicked on the light, which barely lit up half the circular metal table. It was centered in the middle of the room with an elongated chair welded to it.
"By the way, it's on the house." The door clicked shut on her and she walked over to the table. Setting down her plate, filled with nothing more than half rotten foods covered in seasonings and preserving salt, she sat. With a turn and a click, her helmet slid off her head and she was free from the stuffy heat inside. Her short hair cascaded toward her shoulders and stopped short of them. She would've forgotten she had any if it weren't for the feeling of soft kisses it gave her against her neck.
The sound of metal against metal turned her attention back to her armor as it retracted into small pods in her wrist.
"So, that's what the famous Masked Warrior looks like underneath all her metal."
Kili jumped out of her seat, falling backwards toward the ground. She gripped the edge of the bench at the last minutes and caught her body before her head could collide with the metal ground. She pulled herself upright and held her breath, her heart stomping in her chest. She narrowed her eyes, looking through the darkness for who stood before her, but whomever he was, he kept himself hidden behind a wall of darkness.
"Didn't mean to scare you." His husky voice came from the other side of the room and she could softly make out the form of a man.
"These rooms are private, how'd you get in here!?" Kili's face screwed with anger as she smacked her hand against the table. The vibration sent her drink over the edge and it clattered to the ground, spilling all its water. "Great." She murmured, reaching down to pick up the cup.
"I paid in advanced, knew you'd be coming to this exact camp next." The body moved toward her, but stopped just before the seat still sitting silently in the darkness.
"You been following me?" Her voice rose with defense.
"Not long, but I just had to know who lied behind that mask, and who knew she was so beautiful." He sat across from her and she saw the whites of his teeth as his lips curled up in to a smile.
Kili leaned forward. "Flattery's not really going to get you anywhere, you know that right?"
"I don't want to get 'anywhere' with you," He stated blandly. "I just needed to know. . . And, I wanted to help."
"Help, what could you possibly help me with?"
"To get revenge on your friend of course. I lost someone dear to me too once and I know how hard it is." Kili's eyes widened into saucers, how had this man known she'd lost Ravage? She'd told no one that but Alexis and those on Earth. Well, maybe a few here, but they'd sworn to never speak of it to another.
"I don't need your help." She said jabbing her fork into the half rotten food. "I'm perfectly fine on my own. Thank you very much."
The man shrugged. "I'd just thought you'd like to know that you're just going in one big circle. There's only one way to get where you're going."
"Ya, I'll just believe a random man who just happens to know some of my personal life." She rolled her eyes and stuck the food in her mouth, gagging when it hit her tastebuds. It was like watered down mush with seasonings caked on to abstract it from the real taste. She couldn't bring herself to swallow it and without a care she just spit it back onto the plate. She heard the man grimace a little and she couldn't lie when she said that it actually made her smile a little bit.
"All I'm saying is that you've been here what? More than a couple weeks, and you've gotten nowhere? I can help, that's all I'm offering." He leaned back, resting his hands behind his head.
"I don't need your help." She shoved the plate aside and let it tip into the nearby trash bin. "I need to get to my destination."
"Yes, the Decepticon headquarters so you can kill Megatron for yourself because of what he did to Ravage. And I'm telling you that, that's not as easy as it sounds."
"It sounds easy? I've been trudging these lands for who knows how long and I've found nothing." She paused, rethinking his words. "Wait, did you say, Ravage?"
"Well clearly you've done something right," He continued, sliding around her question. "You've got a lot of humans curious about you and there have been a lot of rumors spreading around about how you're going to save them all. A couple weeks is a long time here and I think it's time you start moving on."
"I am moving on. I mean, if you've been watching me than you know what I've been doing."
"Yes, yes, I know, you're saving the humans enslaved to Megatron." She could see his face dropping without care. "But have you really moved on? Because I've been watching you and all I've seen is you moving from city to city. . ." His tone dropped. "Then that sad look in your eyes, how I wish you wouldn't have it. You're hurt, I know that and I also know that you're afraid. . . Afraid that once you find Megatron and his goons that he'll squish you like a bug and you won't be able to avenge your lost family. . . You're human, it's typical and I expected nothing less; but you Kili, I'm really disappointed that you haven't even tried to find your way out of this funk."
"I am trying." She growled through her teeth, glaring at him. She could see the whites of his eyes glowing in the darkness and she wanted nothing more than to punch him right there and knock him into unconsciousness. "Just-Just shut up." She stood up from the chair and walked to one of the darker corners of the room. Lifting her fist to her mouth she gnawed on the ball of her finger. Kili closed her eyes and tried hard not to cry, but the man was right, she was afraid. Afraid of death, afraid of what she'd find. She couldn't do it, not without Alexis backing her up and she was probably halfway across the planet tearing down the Decepticon base by now. "Why do you want to help me?" She asked finally, turning a few degrees so that she could see the dark form of the man who still sat at his seat.
There was a moment of perpetual silence and Kili was beginning to think that this man had been all in her mind. Then he let out a cold sigh and stood up. He stood still next to the chair for a while before walking over to her and Kili flinched back when his cold hands brushed against her skin. "Because I lost my family, too." She looked up and stared at him, the dim light only lighting up his upper body.
The man looked so familiar; sleek silvery black hair, an angular face filled with poignance and lips that curled up into a sly-saddened smile. His dark shirt reflected the light, making his upper torso almost look invisible. But it wasn't his hair nor his shirt that caught her attention, it was his dark shining crimson eyes, those eyes that seemed to look like one with the way they shone. His eyes stared back into hers with an emotion she hadn't yet seen before, but she innately knew it was directed toward her. Then there was one more thing, the most disappointing thing she'd felt, his whole being made her want to see Ravage again.
"Wh-who are you?"
"I'm hurt, Kili, that you wouldn't recognize me. I really am."
"I-I." He lifted up his hands and brushed his long fingers against her face. They were so cold, but yet warm like- "Ravage." The name was barely a whisper, but it been heard enough by the man that he leaned in closer, his lips pressing lightly against her ear.
"I'm afraid so." A shiver worked its way up her spine and she almost let out a squeak. But the feeling vanished as soon as it came when reality finally hit her.
"You're dead, I watched you die." Her eyes clenched shut, tears boiling under her lids. This wasn't happening, it was a dream, a nightmare playing with her weakened mind.
He chuckled again and she just couldn't get over how much she actually liked it this time. "SoundWave didn't let me die that easily. When Megatron killed me, he only managed to kill off my body, but my mind was fully in tact. . . SoundWave forced some scientists to work on a new body for me, sadly they couldn't remake my old form without Megatron fully knowing what was happening so they made me into a techno-organic; android if you will." He explained, not leaning back from her ear. His head rubbed against her like that of a cats.
She brushed her finger down his chest and bit her bottom lip. He was like her, well, almost like her, and he could speak. Truthfully, when she'd known him, that's all she had ever wanted was for him to be able to speak.
"I thought you were dead for the longest time. I missed you so much, your caring demeanor even though you looked so deadly, your soft purrs for when I-"
"From when you ran your fingers down my back." She could of sworn that he shivered this time, but she brushed it off as memory. "You don't know how many times I wished I was human like you, Kili. . It was painful not being able to be by your side without hurting you." His head pulled back, their eyes locking once more.
"But you never hurt me," She rested her hand against his cheek and he leaned into it. "You were always by my side and never once did I get hurt."
"I always hurt you, Kili. The Decepticons had tried to use me as a spy on you, I tried for so long to follow their commands, but seeing you in pain. . . That's when I got you out of their base back on Earth. I could never though curl up next to you, warm you when you were cold, or gently console you when you were weak. Then I died and I killed you Kili, I didn't mean to, b-"
Kili pressed her fingers to his lips and his dark crimson eyes looked into her vibrant green ones. "You never hurt me. That was Megatrons doing, not yours." He tried to smile, but couldn't find the strength to. "Now how about you show me where I apparently want to go."
"Can I try something first?"
Kili gave Ravage an odd glare before shrugging. "Sure, why not."
He leaned in and gently pressed his newfound human lips to hers. She reared back in surprise but his hand pressed close to her head, entangling her hair between his fingers. She closed her eyes, giving in to the moment. She hadn't paid attention to how much time passed between her giving in and him pulling back, their lips parting. "You don't know how long I've waited to do that."
"Clearly too long." Kili fluttered her eyes open and looked Ravage back in his eyes. "I didn't know that's how you felt."
"I had a knack for keeping secrets."
Kili held herself silent for seconds, wondering her mind through the recent event. "We need to go." Her feet bounded from her spot and within moment her armor was covering her again. Clicking her helmet back on she looked to Ravage. "Alright, lover-boy, let's go."
"Lover boy?"
Kili only smiled and grabbed his hand. Pulling him out of the room she rushed them through the crowd who gave them either happy thanks or odd glares.
"What took you so long?" Kili walked up to a red sports car, his engines revving with energy and hint of slight annoyance.
"Sorry, got caught up." She looked to Ravage and pulled him next to her so that her Autobot friend could take notice of his presence.
"And who's that?"
"A new. . . Friend, look he can help us so you're letting him in." She grumbled, knowing that the mech cared a little too much about his own looks.
"That's for me to decide."
"I will kick your exterior."
Silence filled the group with an unexplained uncomfortableness between them all. "Fine." Mirage finally huffed out. His doors flew open and Kili crawled in to the passenger side, allowing Ravage to take the back. "But one scratch and I'm kicking you out."
"And her?" Ravage asked almost playfully.
"She's staying." The mech pressed down on the gas pedal and drove away from the city.
Omega-one, come in, this is IronHide. I repeat, Omega-One, come in, this is IronHide. Come in, I beg of you, get this message. I'm free, so are Dine and the twins, we need backup here on Cybertron. Alexis has been kidnapped by a 'Con and our numbers are exponentially low, we need backup. . . I repeat, come in.
The words echo'd through the broken cities as the measly crew that only grew with every aching, energy depleting fight traveled.
Thus far they'd free'd the twins from their mind control and Dino had comm'd in saying that he was free as well and heading to their location via comm. link signal. The twins, whom were walking in the back with the others, had been found transporting energon to a secret storage base in Kaon's outskirst - the purpose for it was unknown due to the twins not remembering a single thing about their mission after they were free'd; no doubt a con tactic to keep their reserves safe from luring Autobot hands.
The crew trudged on and on, tired, hungry, some of them scarred, and most of all, fearful of who was to be taken next. Regener sunk to the back with his head held low, the aftermath of their almost death getting to him, but it was the bomb that had made him silent. Calysta was crying invisible tears, using herself as comfort. Sideswipe had tried to woo his way in and comfort her, but all he received in return was a literal swift-kick to the aft. Sunstreaker turned it into a game and tried his own way to comfort her; he fared worse with a fist to the face and a five fingered gash to his right shoulder. He cared not much about the pain, but more about how his exterior was ruined until further notice.
"Where exactly are we going?" Sides asked over exasperated.
"Well, since you can't remember where Megatron's energon reserves are, I DON'T KNOW! So shut your fraggin' mouth 'till I can find us somewhere to recharge." IronHide spat. He turned back to a device that was directing their way to Kaon, but it only helped in keeping the group irritated with its constant beeping.
Sideswipe raised his arms in defense. "Sorry, didn't mean to upset you." He mumbled something incoherently and IronHide shot a glare at him.
"We're all really tired, and hungry, because someone," Calysta directed her attention to Sunstreaker. "Decided to blow up what little energon you had on that cart of yours. So next time, don't question, just go with it." She stated matter-of-factly. She was pinhead close to blowing up and letting the twins have her angry burst, but she kept herself reserved, for the sake of everyones sanity and quite frankly, her own.
"Ya, okay, but why's the ol' general over there about ready to pound us into the ground. I mean, he's already like that with us, but this is unusual." Sideswipe asked, leaning over to the femme.
Calysta looked up with a subdued angry tone in her optics. "You know Alexis right?"
"Ehhh," Sides rocked his servo back and forth. "Kinda, I heard bits and pieces of her when I arrived with the others."
"They love each other."
The twins silenced and looked at the femme as if she were mentally insane. "Wasn't she. . . Human?"
"She's not human anymore, somehow, I don't know, she became one of us and well, they're inseparable. . . But, err, they've now been. . . Separated." Calysta rubbed the nape of her neck.
Again, she gained weird looks from the twins.
"She was kidnapped by a 'Con named Chopper who had masked himself as-as." Her mouth went dry with the pain of the fresh memory. "As one of us, a reformed 'Con. . . Later he killed some our crew and left with her."
"Must've been one heck of a fight."
"She went willingly, didn't want Chopper to harm Novaria because of her refusal."
"Wow, that's. . . Wow."
"Ya, it would be if he hadn't planted a bomb inside Novaria and tried to kill us all in one swoop. We got out of there alive, but Nova and two others died." She looked away and sighed. "I never even learned their names."
Silence was mutually shared after that and all that kept the crew going was that subtle, annoying beep from the device. IronHide raised his fingers up to his comm. system and began trying to connect to NEST. They all knew it was futile, but it gave them something of hope and that's all they needed to keep going.
"NES. . . Come in. . . One. . . Come in. . ST. . . Read?"
Annabelle snorted when she was awoken by the bases comm. system, the large screen before her fuzzing with choppy words.
"This is. Iro. . . Come. . ES. . . one."
She rapidly blinked and threw her hands around the desk, trying to configure everything. The Comm. system should've been working.
"Come in. . . Can. . . Me?"
"I'm trying to, don't get your tailpipe in a twist." She twisted in the chair and screamed. "TECHO! Get your butt in here, I need your help!"
Feet clambered through the hallways and a lanky body erupted from the shadows. "Uh, yeah?" He rubbed the back of his neck, even through the darkness Annabelle could see his sweat.
"The comm.. someones trying to transmit through, but can't. I know you've got the skills."
"Sure." He walked over to the desk and took the empty seat next to Annabelle. Pushing her off to the side, his fingers hovered over the keys, his eyes trailing past every broken word that had tried to pass through their system. "Give me a few minutes."
Annabelle gawked at the speed of Techo, A.K.A, Daniel Brashler. Little by little he cleared up the system, bringing the voice and typing words out of their oblivion. His eyes never left the screen, only glancing back and forth as he read each sentence.
"NEST. . . Come in. . . . Bertron."
"I'm clearing up the words, but I still don't know who it is. I'll try and search for his name."
"NEST. . . Do you copy?"
Annabelle stood up and leaned over the control system, she recognized the voice. "No need, Techo. . . I know who it is. Gotta go!" She burst from the room and trampled down the hallway, her legs wanting to trip over each step. "DAD! DAD!" She came to a sharp corner and couldn't help herself when she skidded into the wall. "Gah! DAD!"
A cybertronian sized door slid in to the wall and her father showed on the other side, along with the Autobots who had been in the meeting room with him. "Annabelle, are you alright? Who hurt you? When I ge-"
"No one hurt me and I'm perfectly fine." She brushed his hands off her shoulders and looked him straight in the eyes. "It's IronHide. He's alive and contacting us."
Everything went silent. All the personnel looked at each other before Lennox broke the silence. "Show me."
Annabelle led them back to comm. central where Techo was finishing the last of his deciphering project. When he saw Lennox and the holoform of Optimus he stood up and saluted. "Lennox, sir."
"At ease, Techo, do you have the transmission?" Lennox asked, his eyes wide and scanning the transmission.
"Almost, I just need like half a minute." Techo sat back down and began typing again, not waisting a second. By now the audio transmission was over and the lanky man was left to pull back what had been said before it was lost to space. The others waited until he pulled back and smacked his hands together. "BAM, ready to be read."
Annabelle was the first to lean in and read over the words that had come from the comm.
"It could be a trap." Lennox stated. "Megatron has done things like this before."
"Megatron does not know our private Autobot coding system." Optimus interfered.
"Your what?" Annabelle asked.
Optimus cleared his throat as the humans all looked to him. He'd kept the information a secret from them for reasons only he and his crew understood. "When Megatron began plucking us off and using us as his personal puppets, my comrades and I created a code that only we could access when we were under our own control. If by any way one of us had somehow escaped from Megatrons grasp, we were to contact anyone or anything else that could accept the same code."
"So you rigged this up with that code?" Lennox asked, slightly agitated that he hadn't been let in on the project.
"Yes, I had Ratchet come in when it was unmanned."
"Unmanned." Lennox glared over at Techo. "This post is to never be unmanned."
The younger man shrugged. "Sorry, Sir, but when nature calls, it calls."
Lennox turned back to Optimus. "I don't like that you kept this a secret from me, Optimus, and I'd like to know why."
"We only thought it in everyones best safety. If a human portable device with the code were to be taken by the Decepticons, they would have been given unbridled access to everything just by being able to listen in. As well, some Decepticons have mastered the art of voice manipulation, especially over masked devices, they would be able to sound legitimate to your human ears and that would be the end to all we know."
"I for one, don't care." Annabelle said flatly. "All I know is that IronHide is alive with some other people and they need our help. If you guys aren't gonna go, I sure as heck am."
"I would accept their call, but we have no means of transportation." Optimus spoke sullenly. He looked off to the side, almost showing shame through his bleak expression.
"That's not exactly true." Techo got up from his seat and led the group to another room, a massive room that held something unseen to most. Flipping the lights on, they flickered to life one by one and blared down on a huge ship, metal gray half painted over with dark red, midnight blue and black. "Meet my baby, Havoker"
Optimus could only stare, but the three humans could clearly see the questions planted on his face. The ship could fit, at the least, six transformers and over fifty human crewmen, along with a full arsenal and two escape pods.
Lennox smirked as he crossed his arms and leaned his weight to one side. "You have your secrets, we have ours." He waited for a reaction, but nothing came. Looking over to Optimus, he noticed that the Prime's expression was ambivalent and not one emotion could be placed. "It should take us a few hours to get ready for flight, but if we get started now we could be out by midnight tonight."
"And the ship is ready for flight?" Optimus asked, snapping from his oblivion.
"Has been for a few months now, we've just been waiting for the right time to use her."
"I will ready my men for tonight then, Lennox." Optimus turned on his heel and walked away, his holoform fizzling out halfway across the room
Standing curtly by her fathers side, Annabelle swirled on her heel so that she could face him. "I-"
"No." His eyes didn't meet hers and she frowned.
"Bu-"
"It's too dangerous."
"Da-"
"I said no, Annabelle, I won't risk your safety, especially on another planet we know little about."
She groaned and dropped her shoulders.
"Thats for Lamuna." Alexis smashed into the buildings outer wall. "And that's," Chopper swift kicked her in the abdomen and she doubled over in pain. "For killing her." He leaned down to her and cupped her chin in his hand. "Honestly, Alexis, why'd you go and have to do a thing like that? All she wanted was to turn you in like I do, if you would have given up and given in, this whole thing wouldn't even be happening."
"Go. . ." Alexis spit out a substance that was foreign to her. "Screw yourself, Chopper, and your girlfriend too." She spat out the rest of the liquid onto his face and he wiped it off.
"I see how it's still going to be. And I had just high hopes those cuffs would work on you." He slammed his heel down on the cuffs, sending Alexis's head forward, smashing it into the side of his calf. "But even still, I've got the upper hand and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it."
"I don't need to do anything about it, my crew will find me, and when they do, Ironhide will smash to you pieces."
"You're an optimist, maybe a little bit too much of one." He threw his pede up and it collided with her chin, sending her reeling back toward the wall again. "I can fix that for you though, would you like the glass half empty, or completely spilt?"
"I don't care what you do to me. . ." More spitting. "I won't break, I never will." It was a lie, she could already feel herself cracking inside. But not just from Chopper's momentary abuse; from this whole thing, the lives she'd ended, the fights she'd fought with a strength she didn't know she had. . . It was all falling down on her at once and little by little it chipped away at her stubbornness and will to survive. Something sharp dug into her side and she wailed. Looking over she saw Chopper slowly slicing his wrist knife through her side. She whimpered, tried to curl up, but the pain was too much.
"You don't like this, do you? I'm recreating the pain you gave my femme when you dug your sword into her." He twisted the knife with ferocity, gaining a scream from Alexis.
"Her death was fast, I swear I didn't torture he-aaahhhhh!"
"You put the sword through her spark chamber, do you know what kind of pain that makes a bot go through? . . I didn't think so! When a spark is pierced pain is nothing compared to what you feel throughout your whole body, it's like a million knives all puncturing you at once, without mercy." He pulled the knife out and then rested the tip above her spark chamber. "You may only have second to live after that, but the pain lasts an eternity during your last moments. . . Shall I give an example?" He drew the knife down her exterior, gaining an agonizing cringe from Alexis.
"Sound like you're speaking from experience." Alexis spat and she was greeted with another douse of jabbing. "Hurt me all you want, but you know you can't kill me, Chopper, or Megatron will do the same to you."
A moment of fear flashed through the mechs optics and Alexis took the second to shove him off of herself and make a run for it. She clearly couldn't face him fist to fist, so she'd have to find a way to get the cuffs off before she did so.
"Get back here!" His voice reverberated off the walls she ran past, but it didn't stop her, not when she was so close to freedom from his torture tactics.
Alexis looked to her left, to her right, forward, behind, anywhere she could to spot a hiding place away from the mech. Finally she looked up to see a roof of one of the buildings still in tact. It was about five stories high, just enough to keep her hidden from the mech until she could assess her wounds and get on to finding her crew. Taking a sharp turn Alexis ran into the building and swiftly charged up the stairwell covered in bits of debris, that if she took one wrong step, would send her tumbling down the stairwell to her impending doom.
She reached the top in record time, with the inclusion of her seeping wounds. Falling to her knees, she then got onto her stomach and wiggled over to the ledge so that she could watch the mech go by or for any signs of Autobot help. Pede's pounded down the street of the little city and she ducked behind the roof walling. The pede's stopped for a moment and the sound of gravel crunching as they twisted filled her audio receptors, then they stopped again. She kept herself hidden for a moment before taking a peak to see if he was still there. Just as she reached her optics over the ledge she slipped and her helm banged against the metal, telling Chopper of her existence.
He looked up and the locked eyes for a second, his sadistic smile returning. He said something inaudible and she bit her lower lip, why, of all things, did she have to look over the edge?
His pede's clambered up the stairwell and she pulled herself to her knees before sloppily walking behind to a storage shed that had been stationed on the roof. When he reached the top she held her breath, and though her systems screamed for air, she didn't abide. The silence was all but inviting and she wanted to cry, but she couldn't, not without giving her position to Chopper, her position locked between the buildings ledge and the shed.
"Alexis." He toyed playfully, clicking his taloned fingers against nearby metal. "Where are you?" She heard something being thrown about on the other side of the roof and she caught a whimper in her throat. "Not there, huh? Guess we'll have to try-" Something else was tossed around and thrown carelessly off the roof. "You're good, but I'm better." His fingers clacked against the shed and then drew across it, creating a sound worse than nails down a chalkboard. Alexis cringed but allowed not sound to escape her, she couldn't, she wouldn't give in to his game of cat and mouse.
The noise stopped and she paused with her spark pounding in its place. Chopper's pede's stood before her but they looked rigid, as if they had been dipped in dry ice. Then suddenly, without warning, he fell to his knees, a look of utter surprise sketched across his face. His fell forward onto her and began convulsing. She scattered back with a screech, looking up to see who had stopped the mech in his trek.
"Dino? I-I thought you were-"
"Nope, not yet." He lent her out his servo and she took it without questions. Minutes later she stood before an unconscious Chopper with her wrists free again from the shackles.
"How'd you know I was here?"
"We didn't." Kili's voice broke first. "We were driving through trying to get to another group and ended up hearing this freak calling out your name. I made Mirage stop or else."
"Else what?" Alexis had to know."
"Or else he'd wake up in a frilly baby beige pink."
Alexis looked over to Dino who groaned with annoyance, crossing his arms to show it. She chuckled and looked to her friend who was standing next to another human, oddly not in armor.
"And you are?"
"Ravage, we've met before, but I'm sure you remember me as a cat like creature."
"I thought-"
"Another story, another time." Dino interrupted. "Right now we have to get to the others before Megatron and his goons catch up to us."
"What about, Chopper, he's not dead."
"Let him wake up, run back to Daddy with his tail between his legs. He doesn't deserve the easy way out anyways."
Alexis complied and followed the group back down to the road. They transformed, Kili going with Alexis this time and Dino stuck with Ravage. They drove quietly for some time, only speaking when it was most important, but otherwise they kept to themselves.
"You okay?" Alexis asked between one of the quiet intermissions.
"No, not really."
"This is gonna sound stupid, but why?"
"I've been stuck on this planet for some time, saving the humans from their Decepticon tyrants, had my aft whooped a thousand times from those freaks only to be saved by Dino. Learned Ravage is still alive, and that's good, but it's just all so different. I'm seriously thinking of just turning back to our ship and getting out of this joint." Kili slunk in her seat and looked out the window.
"Wow, I thought you never backed out of challenge. I mean, it's been a crap-ton of life altering events here, but that doesn't mean we're going to just give up."
"Hey, that's my speech." Kili sat up, jokingly glaring at her friends dash.
"Well, it's a good one, so be proud."
Kili fell back into the seat and nodded, fiddling with her fingers. "Ya, I guess it's just that I miss so much about Earth and I'm living with the thought that maybe I won't ever be able to play sports again and my friends are all either going to be dead or in the loony-bin and you. . . Well, you might me moving here with Ol' Hide and I won't ever see you again." Tears flowed freely from her eyes and this was one of the moments she was glad to be wearing a helmet.
"Don't you go all weepy on me, girl, I'm your friend and even if I did move here after the war, I'm not leaving you."
Kili sniffed. "Thanks, that means a lot to me."
"And you mean a lot to me, too. Don't forget that we're family, and whether were states, countries or planets apart, I'll always be there for you."
"And I you."
"Diamine Santo, Optimus Prime."
Alexis swerved to a stop behind Dino and both girls looked to where he looked. Before them rested a behemoth of a ship and out walked the whole Autobot Earth crew along with many human reinforcements. Optimus stood amongst them, talking to his comrades, no doubt planning their future plans. Kili jumped out of Alexis's alt-form allowing the femme to transform. "Optimus, sir." Alexis stood straight when the mech came her way. "I didn't know you were coming."
"I wouldn't have come if it weren't for Ironhide's transmissions."
Alexis looked over to her left to see her crew standing about, but she couldn't face the fact that someone vital was missing. She looked to Optimus and he nodded at her to go ahead and join them.
"TF!" The mech looked up to see Alexis and he smiled. "I thought I'd lost you!" He grabbed her just as she ran into his arms and they held each other close. "I thought I'd lost you all." She finally said, looking to everyone. "Did Novaria no-"
"She was the bomb." Regener sighed, looking away.
Alexis felt sorrow for him, but she couldn't say that she knew what he was feeling. "Regener, I'm so sorry."
"It happened, Nova wouldn't want me to wallow in the past. . . I'm here now and it looks like you need me help."
Alexis looked to her wounds and absently nodded. "Ya, they're not too bad, easy recovery."
"Did Chopper do this to you?"
Alexis nodded at Ironhide's question just as Regener sat her down so that he could fully examine her wounds. Malice flashed through Ironhides optics and Alexis reached her servo out to his. "I'm fine though, really, I barely notice them." She cringed when Regener started to weld, then laughed it off. "No, seriously, I'm fine."
"Still."
"If it's any constellation, he's not dead yet, just tased." Kili piped and the other jumped at her sudden appearance. "When we get to Megatrons base you can use him as a punching bag all you want."
Just as Kili finished Optimus walked over and Alexis looked his way. "Sir, what is our course of action?"
"We infiltrate Megatrons Kaon base and take back Cybertron. This war will end tomorrow."
"So, we hit him fast and we hit him hard. . . Those 'Con's won't know what hit them."
Not Finished, YAY! Next chapter though comes the big battle you've all been waiting for! And yes, I brought Ravage back because I'm sorry, I don't see Kili with anyone else and she can't exactly be with an oversized metal cat now can she? XD - Dino's okay, but I see those two butting heads all the time, and it would undoubtedly end with Kili throwing mud or some other dirty substance at the mech.
