The Next morning,
Jade was awakened by the sound of crying. Alerted she sat up quickly.
Jade: I'm up. I'm up.
Jade looked around the room confused but suddenly remembered the night before. Merissa walked in the living room carrying her toddler son John.
Merissa: Morning Jade. Did he wake you?
Jade: Yeah. It's okay. I'm used to being woken up that way.
Merissa: How are you feeling?
Jade: Shitty.
Merissa: Well, I'm going to go make him some oatmeal. Do you want any?
Jade: No.
Merissa: Well, do you-
Jade: Merissa! Go take care of your child. I am fine.
Merissa: Okay Jade. I'm just making sure.
Merissa walked to the kitchen living Jade alone. Jade sat up on the couch grabbing a picture frame nearby on a table. She smiled. It was a picture of all five babies, the day they were brought home from the hospital. Ben walked in the room.
Ben: Hey druggie. How's it going?
Jade was too focused on the picture to reply to Ben's insult.
Jade: When did you take this picture?
Ben: I think Merissa snapped that pic.
Jade: I miss them.
Ben: Then go home and see them.
Jade: It's not that easy.

Later that day, Beck was exhausted. The babies needed so much attention and he was too stubborn to let his parents help. Robbie and Tori were both laying in swings, Cat was crawling around, and Beck was trying to burp to babies at once, Trina and Andre.
Beck: Come on, just three more burps. Burp. Please.
Andre gave a loud burp, Trina spat up.
Beck: (sighs) It's all over my shirt. I forgot about the burping cloth.
The intercom rang.
Beck: I'm not getting that. Too risky.
Beck continued burping the babies, this time Trina burped as Andre spat up.
Beck: I think you two are doing this on purpose. You're against me aren't you?
The intercom rang again, Beck sighed as he laid Trina and Andre down on the couch and ran over to the intercom pressing the button.
Beck: Mom, I thought I said I don't need any help/
Merissa: It's Merissa. I'm here to pick up some things Jade wants.
Beck pressed a button opening the gate for Merissa, he opened the front door a few minutes later. Merissa walked in.
Merissa: Hey Beck.
Beck: Hi Merissa:
Cat crawled up to Merissa and sat up.
Merissa: (picks up Cat) Hi Tori.
Beck: Cat.
Merissa: Cat. Hi Cat. Your mommy misses you.
Beck: What did you have to get?
Merissa: Jade's phone and her laptop. She's been bugging me all morning about it.
Beck: Her laptop is in her office, her phone is in our room.
Merissa: Thanks.
Merissa walked away carrying Cat. Trina and Andre were crying Beck rushed over to them picking them both up.
Beck: Oh shit.
Trina and Andre both had the hiccups. Bad. The hiccups were hurting them.
Beck: You just need some water.
Beck sat them in their bouncers and walked away to get water for them. A few minutes later, Merissa came back with Cat and Jade's things, she sat Cat in her bouncer and sat on the couch next to Beck who was feeding Trina and Andre bottles of water.
Beck: I know she's still taking the pills.
Merissa: What? I don't think she's still taking them.
Beck: The pills are gone. I remember I left them in the bathroom. Last night after everyone left, I realized they were gone.
Merissa: I haven't seen her with them.
Beck: Merissa, she's probably taking them behind your back.
Merissa: Well that does explains her appetite.
Beck: What do you mean?
Merissa: She hasn't eaten anything all day.
Beck: Merissa, I can't do this alone. I can't.
Merissa: Then get off your ass and go handle things like a man.
Beck stared at Merissa in shock.
Merissa: Sorry. With Jade staying at my house, she's starting to rub off on me.
Beck: Jade is so stubborn. None of this would have happened if she wasn't so stubborn.
Merissa: How did this all happen?
Beck: I was just trying to calmly talk to her and she jut acted as if I was against her.
Merissa: You should try calling hr later.
Beck: I have to. I can't do this alone. The milk in the freezer is almost gone. She has to come back to feed the babies.
Merissa: You have to make sure she's healthy first.
Beck: I know.
Merissa: Well I should get going. I left Jade alone with Ben. It could be dead now.
Beck: I'll try calling her.
Merissa: Okay.

Later that day in the evening, Jade was sitting on the couch with her head buried in a pillow. She was on her last nerve. She looked up at the toddler sitting on the floor in front of her.
Jade: That toy must be destroyed.
Jade got up from the couch and took the musical toy away from John.
John: No! Mine!
Jade: Shut it!
Jade took out the batteries throwing them aside and threw the toy down at John.
Jade: There. Play with it.
John pressed a button on the toy and started to cry.
Merissa: (rushes in) What's wrong?
John: (points to Jade) Toy.
Merissa: Jade what did you do?
Jade: I took the damn batteries out. Stupid piano.
Merissa: (picks up John) Come on honey, let's leave Aunt Jade alone.
Merissa walked out as Jade's phone started ringing. She saw that it was Beck and waited till' the last ring to answer.
Jade: Wow, look who finally decides to call.
Beck: Jade if you're gonna be childish about this-
Jade: What do you want Beck?
Beck: I need you to come home.
Jade: You need me to come home?
Beck: Well, yes. The milk is almost gone and I need you to feed the babies. Once you're, you know, free of the pills.
Jade: Is that all you called for? To tell me I'm needed to provide milk. What about apologizing? What about my feelings?
Beck: This isn't about your feelings. This is about you feeding your children.
Jade: If you want them fed so badly then why don't you produce some milk!
Beck: Jade you-
Jade: Save it. You got a lot of never calling me demanding I show up to provide milk. Have you ever even thought of apologizing?
Beck: Apologizing? I don't need to apologize for anything. I'm not the bad one here, it's you.
Jade: Me? You're the one who abused me when I was trying to feed Robbie!
Beck: I didn't abuse you Jade.
Jade: Yes you did, and you fucking know it!
Beck: This isn't about you! This is about feeding our babies!
Jade: (mocking Beck) The babies. The babies. The babies. I don't fucking care about the babies!
Beck: Jade, you don't mean that, stop being so ignorant and come home.
Jade: No. Because according to you, I'm only good for providing. Am I right?
Beck: No Jade-
Jade: Goodbye Beck.
Beck: But they're almost out of milk!
Jade: Feed them formula.
Jade ended her call with Beck throwing her phone at the wall.
