chapter 29

Black wolves den

Jonathan sat on his bike whilst the roller doors opened, gently cradled selena upon his lap and rode in slowly. The others followed and the doors closed afterwards, dismounting from thier bikes and assisted with selena's body from jonathan's embrace so he too could dismount.

Hikori cradled her and walked over to the table, placing her down and prepared the funeral she deserved. Cassanda placed matthew's body gently down then approached jonathan and grasped his shoulder and asked. "What are we going to tell, elena?"

Jonathan lowered his gaze and sighed. "Not sure but she needs to know."

"When should we tell her?" Cassanda asked.

"For now, let her rest and I will send for her in the morning. First, let's give selena a proper burial prepartion." Jonathan replied and instructed. They agreeably nodded.

Elsewhere, only managed to enter thier lair. Feeling exhausted, bruised battered and carried a few cuts. Both Jade and Rachel sprung up to thier feet, hurried to thier mates and draped their arms around thier necks.

Ignoring thier pain as thier bodies winced in pain, draping thier own around thier wives and buried thier faces in thier chests. Leonardo smiled, holding his love close then soon realised when donatello sighed sadly. Splinter watched from afar of the lair and his ear flattened, a small lining of his heart had ran through and he felt saddened for his son. A tear streamed down his furred cheek.

Then all were surprised as elena left leonardo's embrace and approached donatello. Gently cusped his cheek with a gentle smile, he smiled too alittle then hugged elena as she hugged him. Inviting his brothers to hug him as well.

"Group hug." she requested. Splinter watched and smiled, he couldn't be or felt more proud then a soft brushed on the back of his neck had ran through his fur. Slightly turned around and wondered whom had caressed his neck and saw no one present but suddenly sensed the love he once felt.

Still overflowing strong as ever, only stronger. Returned his gaze upon his sons once more and smiled, then walked forward toward his children.

As they pulled away, Leonardo sighed and said. "Elena, your father said this is for you." Handing the key to elena and her happy smile changed to a confused gaze.

"My father said it was for me? Anything else he said?" elena asked. Leonardo sighed and answered.

"Only, he said that you will know what to do with it."

Elena glanced confused at first and looked to the key chain tag and opened it. The address was written inside to a PO box with a box number. Requesting leonardo to escort with her, he agreed and grabbed his disguise.

"Need us?" Raphael offered. Rachael and jade protested, instructing them to stay put. "Oh no, you two are not going anywhere."

Mikey gawked shocked and said. "I wasn't going anywhere, I rather be with my boocakes."

Jade smiled and kissed mikey tenderly. Elena agreed and insisted that Leonardo attends to his injuries first then later they'd investigate what the box contains.

Alittle later, Elena sat with leonardo laying across her lap as he draped a arm around her waist. Lightly brushed his head, and glared the key as the light gleamed upon the metal while she turned it around slightly back and forth. Observing the key and read the address on the tag as she wondered what it could mean.

Lightly bit her lower lip, gently ushered leonardo's head away from her lap and removed his arm from her waist. Quietly and carefully climbed out of the bed, placing the sheet over him as he slept. Stood in the doorway as she held the door lightly and glanced upon the love of her life, feeling blessed of the gift she has found. Closing the door behind her as she left the room and quickly observed her surroundings before leaving the lair.

Unaware, as she was about to leave the door. Rachel had saw her leave, scratching her head wondering to herself. Grabbing the keys to the battle shell, and hurried after elena.

"Elena." rachel softly called. Gasped in fright. "Don't do that, rachel. You're like a skulking cat." Elena held her racing chest as she lightly breathed. Rachel chuckled alittle, smiled softly and apologised.

"Sorry, but where are you off to?" she asked. Elena rose and opened her hand. "I need to know what jacy left for me."

Rachel sighed and gently grasped elena's hand then suggestively said. "We'll take the van." Presenting the keys. Elena smiled agreeably.

In the garage, both women glanced marvelled to the battle shell. "Whoa." They said unison. Elena glanced rachel and smiled. Neither said anything as they bolt to the vehicle and jumped in.

Rachel leaped in the drivers seat and elena in the shotgun, aka passenger seat. It didn't take long for either to figure out the buttons to the lair and vehicle. The doors opened, and rachel inserted the key in the ignition then slammed her foot on the accelerator. Driving out excitedly out to through the tunnel until another door, a crate door lifted allowing them to exit to the street.

Meanwhile, the news vans surrounded the purple dragons lair and authorities gathered to keep citizens from entering the crime scene.

The account of those were arrested, possessed massive amount of injuries while others were wheeled out on gurdys, covered in blood stained sheets. Followed by massive cargo of evidence from within. The leading detective, finally walked on the scene as he stepped in from underneath the yellow tape.

"Alright, what do you got?" Senior constantable detetive Ronalds asked, taking a piece of gum. Officer rogers sighed and led him inside. "The stolen evidence, is one and what you see. Injured suspects taken out and no exact count of the dead."

"What about Hun?"

"That is the problem sir. He is no where to be found." Officer rogers answered. Raising a suspicious brow. "What do you mean, no where to be found?"

Handing the evidence bag with the nine milimetre hand silver hand gun. "That's all was found in the scene of what we believe to be left of Hun Jubba."

Observed the blood stained weapon within the evidence bag, then glanced his comrade in silence for a moment. Handing it back then had noticed something odd about the crime scene.

"What is it, sir?" officer rogers asked, watching detective rolands knelt down. Keeping his back towards officer rogers whilst rolands picked up, small shard of fibre glass that was shaped of a vile.

Standing up and turned around, raising in the light. "What is that?"

"I'm not sure, but I want answers. And I mean want answers now. Take it to forescenics immediately and ensure it is on my desk first thing in the morning. Understood?"

"Yes, sir." Officer rogers answered and watched rolands walked away.

Elsewhere, standing before the therapetic support beams. Recalled the gruelling agonzing pain he experienced as he regained his ability to walk again only to use a walking stick as the first step of success.

Turned away, lightly limped to the cushioned table where a hot tea waited. Lightly grunted as he struggled to kneel on the cushion and placed the stick down beside him. Exhaled softly with relief as he reached for his tea, inhaling the sweet aroma which distracted him when the doors opened.

Keeping his eyes closed as he said. "Is that you, Hana?"

Footsteps lightly approached then a sound of paper pile placed on the table before him. Opening his eyes and upon the soldier kneeling. "The purple dragons have failed and have somewhat been disbanded."

The soldier reported. Oroku saki glanced him, with a raised brow. Placed the saki down and repeated softly. "Disbanded?"

The soldier nodded. Waved his hand, gesturing him to leave. Obediently he left.

The doors closed and a thud wtih a grunt caught his attention as he continued to kneeling. The doors opened and misaki walked in. Oroku glanced the woman with suspicion. "Do I know you?"

Misaki scoffed and answered. "Of course you do." Hana grunted, breathed heavily as she was dragged into the room by two other women, holding her hostage. His eyes widen as he pleaded. "Let her go."

Misaki smirked, scoffed again and approached hana as she lightly ran her thumb and index finger around her jawline. Then glanced back to oroku. "Is she that worth it?"

"What are you talking about? Let her go." he ordered. Misaki smiled, taking out a large shredded knife from her back. Shuddered with heavily breathes as she glared the weapon that was held in view inbetween both misaki and hana.

Hana struggled to break free as she said. "What is this? Why are you doing this?" Misaki turned, lightly trailed the knife edge along her jawline and answered.

"This is about you." Holding the knife lighlty against her throat as she turned and glared oroku as he glared calm, calculative then slowly lowered his hand down and toward to the cane. Misaki warned quickly. "Don't think about it or she dies."

"You would dishonour a old man of his walking stick?" Oroku rose his stick to present his intentions as he slowly stood up. Misaki tilted her head and said.

"Of course not." she paused and glanced hana as she resumed. "But she might."

Hana glanced confused and shudderly demanded. "What is she talking about?" Oroku sighed and replied.

"This woman is clearly delusional and I have no idea what she is talking about." Stepping around the table as he walked towards them. He said, commanding once again. "I say once more, release her or so help me, I will kill you myself."

Misaki glared oroku with widen glance and said, lowly. "You wouldn't do that? She is manipulating you against me. Poisoning your mind. Can't you see?" Turned to face hana as she tightened the grip upon the handle of the knife as she continued.

"She stole you from me!"

Hana glared misaki and whispered. "What? This is what it all about? You are the one, that sent the gifts and said it was from saki?"

"You were supposed to die from the poison roses and fish." Misaki hissed. Unaware, oroku had alerted for his guards as he pressed the secret button within his cane. Hana glared to oroku as tears welled up and streamed down her cheek and shudderly breathed.

"Don't worry, my love. I will save you from her lies and posion." misaki rose her weapon to drive into hana's chest when she cried in agony as her forearm was slammed down by a hard object.

Dropping to her knees, and the knife was released as she looked up to oroku. He glared angrily whilst standing over her. Hana was released but she fell to the floor as her legs were broken. Misaki's accomplices tried to flee for safety but were captured as they exited the doors in the corridor.

Four more soldiers, entered the room and two assisted Hana as she cried in agony. The other two immediately restrained misaki. Oroku approached her, back slapped her cheek then whispery commanded.

"Execute them."

Misaki protested, shouted and even cried as she said. "No! Saki, please don't do this! She is a snake, a gold digger! Please don't do this, Please saki. I did it for US!"

Oroku ignored misaki's pleas and protest as he brushed hana's cheek. "Are you ok?" He asked and she nodded, answering. "I'm ok. What did she want?"

"I don't know, but I am going to find out."

Meanwhile, Elena and rachel sat in the vehicle as they waited a few moments before leaving the vehicle and walked in the station's entrance. "Why here, elena?" Rachel asked, curious but confused as why the key would be matched to the locker of a train station.

"I don't know." Elena answered and glanced rachel softly as she too were curious. "Let's find out shall we?"

Rachel agreed. Opening thier doors, exited from their seats and walked to the stations entrance and entered. They walked down to thier last step and grasped eachother's hands, as they realised the station was crowded. People walked in all directions, either entering to board thier trains to thier destinations and others were leaving whilst some were doing thier duties within the premises.

Fifteen minutes later, the pair approached a large locker that stood across from the ticketers booth. Rachel smiled, as she stood on elena's left and she glanced with worrying glance.

Rachel assured supportively. Elena inserted the key in the locker and opened it. Turned slightly to rachel as she waited. Turned back to the locker, reached in and took out two large yellow envelopes, including a box.

Spoke nothing more as she handed all to rachel and closed the locker, locking it again then left the station. Shortly, had returned to the van. Elena opened the first envelope, taking out the letter. Rachel sat and watched elena as she begun to read the letter, and witnessed tears streamed down her cheeks.

Dearest elena

My beloved best friend, and beautiful baby sister. If you are reading this, then the case is I am now dead. I had lost to Hun, but not without getting my revenge for jacy. This is hard for you to read as I wish to be there for your biggest day when you finally bring down the purple dragons as well, your wedding day.

My gifts for you, I leave you everything I have including the ownership of the dojo. I am sorry that I had to keep the truth from you about our lineage as you and your father are my last living kins. I wanted to tell you, but couldn't. Everything I have taught you, and everything that Jacinta had taught you was not only to protect yourself as I chose you to be my successor. Everything I own and everything Jacinta once owned is now yours, dearest elena.

And all evidence you will need, for your biggest scoop of the century. But I have to also mention, that they were not working alone. They had helped, and I believe only your new friends can reveal that pandora box.

Always remember, that I did all this for you. To protect you, and prepare you for whatever challenges may come your way. I love you little warrior princess. I will always be with you and forever more be watching over you.

Love always, Selena.

"Elena? You ok?" rachel asked. Elena wiped the tears away from her cheeks, folded the letter and took out, a testimonal will then replied.

"I have just inherited, everything selena and Jacinta has left for me." elena glanced to rachel with teary gaze. "She...she is gone." Her lips trembled, as more tears fell and reached over for a embrace as she whispery continued.

"She is gone." elena sobbed brokenly. Lightly brushed her hair and shushed her softly.

"Shush, it's ok. I'm here." rachel assured.
