Do you know the feeling? When your entire body fails you? When you can't do anything but stare in horror? The feeling when you have screwed up every single thing? That's the feeling I was having.
You may think having 'Armityle, Erasor, Dreadrood and Avatar' is great, it's not. Each of these cards eats away your body and strength, each tears at your sanity.
These monsters, the ultimate darkness… Why did Nyx summon these cards?
All these things and thoughts flew through my brain, as it was being tormented with the presence of the beings of darkness. At that point, I wished I was dead. What happened was different, but not very.
Without noticing, Yubel had taken her turn further, and when I could finally think straight, I had 100 Life points, and the 4 monsters. Yubel on the other hand had a monster I didn't recognize.
"And now, fool, I activate the effect of 'Erastriao', to deal 100 points of damage." Yubel said.
I felt like an arrow pierced me, and my body got torn apart. I fell down, hard onto the ground, unconscious.

-Two weeks later, the garage-
"Isn't there anything you can do, doctor? It's been two weeks." A voice said. The silence that followed indicated the answer must've been negative. A second voice let out a short cry of sadness, and a third voice I could barely make out sighed deeply. I tried to open my eyes, but couldn't. I couldn't say anything, couldn't move at all. I only heard what was happening. I didn't know the voices talking, at least, not that I knew. I desperately tried to struggle for control, but didn't succeed.
A short stab in my right bicep, followed by a liquid entering my body, gave me some strength. Not much, barely enough to open my eyes, but it was enough. I opened my eyes and saw 2 guys around me, one of which I didn't know, and Luna. I faintly recognized IV's yellow hair. Though my entire vision was blurred.

"See, I told you it'd wake him up. Why did you study if you didn't even know it, doc?" IV asked someone, I assume the doctor. The latter snarled something back, and the room went silent. I wanted to say something, anything, but I couldn't move or talk. I could move my eyes, that was it. Nothing else.
I saw everyone leaving the room. Under loud protest of IV, but the doctor kept saying only one person at a time was allowed inside. I couldn't see who stayed.
I could feel an arm on mine, which was improvement, I could feel my body, at least. The arm stroked mine, in a shaky pattern. I could hear short snicks of crying.
I forced my eyes to see the one sitting next to me, but I just couldn't see the person. I don't know how long I've been laying here, in this bed, but I could feel some kind of infusion attached to my arm, so probably a long time. Minutes, hours, days later, I couldn't tell, I discovered my body was starting to listen to me. I could move my toes and neck, a bit. I looked around as good as I could, but could still not see anyone in the room. Though I did still hear the snicks. When I turned my neck, I heard a gasp and felt the hand grasping mine tightly.
I smiled (well, I think I did).

Three whole days later, after having ups and downs, I was alone in the room, and finally able to move myself (except for my legs). I was in a room I hadn't seen ever before, so it was probably new. I didn't see anything in the room, except for a door. I knew I had a T-shirt and briefs on, but that was about it. The room didn't have anything in it except for the infusion attached to me, and the bed.
The door opened, slowly. I noticed the guy I had seen earlier walk in, and recognized him by now.
I opened my mouth, and slowly talked.
"It's been a while… since I saw you…" I mumbled. The guy at the door grunted.
"You don't say? I gotta admit, Lucas. I thought you'd have died." He said.
"Would've been very bothersome too, cause I need you to survive." He said. I turned my head to face his, and looked straight into the eyes of Culas, Kid of Dark World.

"Why do you need me to survive?" I asked Culas. He didn't respon at first, after which he started explaining. "I am a spirit in this world, spirits need their card, you have my card. If you die, I'm stuck close to you for the rest of my life. I don't want that." He said coldly. "So, was it you I heard sitting here?" I asked, my brain wasn't fully working yet, I guess.
Culas always burst out into laughter. "No, that was the green haired girl, should've figured that out mr. awesome." He told me. I had no clue what he meant, but before I could ask, the door flew open. Luna walked into the room, saw me sitting up, dashed to me, and threw her arms around me, in one of the most deadly hugs ever.
