Sakura picked up the key with some trouble, due to the wound the sword inflicted.

She stared at it, tilting her head slightly. There was chakra imbedded in it.

Hmm.

She looked to the cage and then to the key. She dragged herself to the door and tried it but it didn't work.

Sakura pouted and dropped her arms with a huff. A tinkering sound drew her attention down where her eyes landed on the chakra shackles. She spent a good moment staring at it before it finally clicked.

"Ohhhhh," she drawled and giggled as she took the key in mouth, getting a good taste of Raku's blood that clung to her hands and key and fiddled with the shackles.

She hummed happily as she worked the key in the lock before it finally dropped free.

Like a damn, her chakra flooded her system. The suddenness activated the Saisen and Sakura screamed as her chakra broke her bones and reset them. The cuts and bruises disappeared as new cells were created to heal any and everything that was not in perfect condition. It even flooded into her mind, dispersing the haze of madness if only a little.

Sakura looked at her hands as she became enveloped in her chakra. No longer was it a soothing blue but bloodthirsty red, flickering like an agitated cat.

Standing on her newly healed legs, she moved to the steel bars of her cage. She raised her hands to the bars and pulled them apart with ease and stepped out of her cage. Footsteps echoed in the underground tunnels, getting louder as the men came closer.

When they finally came upon her, she greeted them as naked as the day she was born and drenched in blood, her chakra flaring around her angrily. Her sickening smile was ever present but her eyes were as cold as the void itself.

"Let's play," she stated.

As the men lunged for her, she thrust her fist into the ground.

Chakra flared, causing Sasuke and Karin to pause just outside the clearing.

"It looks like a fight broke out," Sasuke stated.

"That was Sakura's chakra," Karin whispered in awe.

Sasuke turned to her sharply. "But I thought you said she had chakra restrictors on."

"She did," Karin snapped back. "And knowing Kuromaru, she should still have them on!"

"So she got free? We need to move!"

Without another word, Sasuke flew into the clearing. Those that were nearby looked over in shock at his sudden arrival.

"He's here!"

The call went out and those that hadn't run for the underground entrance was now running for Sasuke.

Bad move.

In a swirl of purple chakra, his Susanoo was quick to take form a second after he activated the Mangekyou Sharingan.

"No one is leaving here alive except for me and my wife," he declared darkly as he extended his arm.

With a great swipe, Susanoo knocked many men away, Amaterasu followed suit, burning them alive.

Sasuke only had to walk while his demon killed men left, right and centre.

Suddenly, there was an earthquake, causing the Uchiha to stagger momentarily, along with everyone else. No, not an earthquake. Sasuke's eyes darted for the underground entrance.

Sakura.

With the men momentarily distracted, he watched as Karin disappeared into the entrance. He went to follow by as another tremor shook the ground, rocks caved in, blocking his way.

Sakura was trapped.

Karin ran, taking turns at random, praying she went the right way.

A sudden ear-splitting scream tore through the hideout. Sadly, it was a scream the redhead was all too familiar with.

She kept running through the underground maze until finally she came upon the naked pinkette who was cowering with her hands to her ears as if trying to block out something. She went to run to her before a man stepped out of the shadows, walking towards the screaming woman with a cruel smirk.

"Get out of my head!" She screamed. "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!"

She continued to scream but words and just unintelligible sounds.

Despite his superior expression, his body was tense and slow. Even though Sakura was not in the right state of mind, she had too much power, too much control over her chakra to not be deemed a threat.

He approached with a sword, knowing anything short of decapitating her would be ineffective with the Saisen activated.

But when he was within reach, he found himself bound.

"What!?"

He looked down at the chakra strings wrapped around him before turning his head to follow their lead and found Karin, glaring at him with anger and fear.

"Karin-chan," he spoke, coolly. "You came back."

"You won't lay another finger on her, Kuromaru."

"Is that so?" He asked.

The black diamond flickered in his eyes and the strings dropped at his feet.

"W-What?" Karin gasped as she took a step back.

"Sakura-chan did quite a number to my eyes, severing the chakra pathways but it wasn't completely irreversible," he explained as he began to walk towards her. "While I may not be able to teleport via shadows, I can still go intangible."

He suddenly jumped away when a fist swung at him. Having dodged, the fist made contact with the wall, shattering it. He looked up into the crazed eyes of Sakura, her pupils dilated in their madness.

"DIE!" She screamed. "GET AWAY! DIE!"

Karin watched as Sakura lashed out wildly. There was no finesse to her attacks, no tactics. Just blind insanity. If she had to give a word to the display, it would probably be animalistic.

Scarily accurate.

Sakura attacked like a stirred up, wild animal. She took many fatal hits but none that her Saisen couldn't immediately handle.

Kuromaru managed to get free for a moment. "You're damned persistent, Sakura-chan."

She silenced any other words as she lunged for him again.

Having lost her mind, she lost all sense of self-restraint. The part of her brain that warned against chakra exhaustion, pain and/or muscle fatigue was quietened by her raving desire for blood

His blood.

Karin knew she should probably stop Sakura before she hurt herself but how did one go about restraining a rampaging kunoichi with monstrous strength that could break your bones with a flick.

But, Sakura's persistent attacks revealed Kuromaru's weakness. He could only flicker in and out of tangibility for a moment and with every flicker, he slowed the tiniest bit. She was wearing him down.

And he wasn't the only one. Sakura's flaring chakra had dropped.

When Sakura took a kick to her back that sent her into a jagged part of stone wall, the gash to her chest didn't heal. The Saisen had dissipated and she was killable again.

Karin could see Kuromaru caught on as he stabbed into her thigh. The wound didn't hinder the pinkette in her flurry of attacks but Karin knew it reached an artery with how much blood she was losing. Her madness would be the death of her.

He was pissed.

He was pissed and sad.

His friends had been injured, hurt and... worse. Beside him was Ino, Sai, Lee and Shizune, the only ones physically capable to continue on and judging by the look in Ino and Lee's eyes, this meant more to them than ever before. When they had caught up to Ino, Shikamaru and Choji, Lee broke the news to them about Tenten's death. To say Ino didn't take it well would be an understatement. She went on a mini rampage. It was a good thing her enemies had already been taken care of because she was seeing red.

Now, as they landed in the Kuromaru's camp, they spared a moment to take in the state of the camp (ablaze), they were quick to join Sasuke in the total annihilation of Kuromaru's army. Lee struck with more force than ever before, the pain of losing his only other teammate fresh in his mind as he all but left holes in his enemies where his kicks and punches landed. Ino stole a man's sword and used it to hack and slash through anyone she deemed an enemy with Sai hanging by to cover his wife's back since her fury left many openings. Shizune was the last of the medical team since the others had to carry the injured back to Konoha and Shino was in too critical a condition for Tsunade to leave and so she would oversee his healing.

Naruto went straight for Sasuke who was still cutting through his enemies with Susanoo.

"Where's Sakura and Karin?" Naruto called.

"Karin ran underground where I assume Sakura was being kept. Sakura managed to get free and recover her chakra. One of her attacks caused a cave in to block the entrance."

"And we can't just blast our way in otherwise it might cause another cave in that could kill them," Naruto caught on.

Sasuke nodded. "A careful and precise attack on a structural weakness could gain us entry but we need to take out any and all distractions."

"Have you seen Kuromaru?" Naruto asked.

Sasuke shook his head, a grim frown on his lips.

"I think he's trapped down there with them."

"We should hurry then."

"Right."

Karin fell to the floor, clutching her stomach where Kuromaru dealt a powerful blow. He went to follow through but Sakura intercepted with a kick. He had no choice but to pull back and dodge.

Karin struggled to fend off the pain, wanting to get up and provide some form of cover for Sakura but she was practically useless in this situation.

'I'm pathetic,' Karin cursed herself. 'I can't do a damn thing and Sakura was the one being tortured for months!'

Sakura was riddled with bruises and deep gashes and yet she continued to throw herself at her tormentor.

With a particular swing, Sakura left herself wide open which Kuromaru exploited. He stomped down into her leg, breaking her leg and shoving her down. Sakura moved to get back up but she only tumbled forward.

She'd lost too much blood, Karin realised.

Her eyes had become unfocused and every time she tried to stand, she swayed and fell back down. Kuromaru stood above her. He stood on one hand, crushing her fingers while pinning her other hand to the ground with a kunai. Sakura howled angrily, snapping and growling as she tried to pull free but it didn't work.

Karin stood and raised her kunai. Kuromaru could see her attack from a mile away and as she slashed at him, he went intangible. He reappeared and drove his sword through her stomach. Karin's eyes widened and he smirked before it fell and he looked down. Protruding from his stomach was an Adamantine Sealing Chain.

"H-How!?"

His eyes moved to her kunai that had a chakra string wrapped around it and the tip of her chain. Though it was not wrapped around him, the pure power of the Adamantine chain reduced Kuromaru and his Kekkei Genkai obsolete. The man strained but there was no give. He couldn't move.

"I-It's over," Karin panted.

"No!" Sakura barked before a fist burst through his chest.

Karin stepped back in surprise as the hand with broken fingers gripped the edge of broken skin and pulled the man back. He tipped over onto Sakura and she pulled the kunai out that had her hand pinned to the ground. She rolled over so she was above him, almost falling off him from the sudden vertigo that blood loss caused.

She glared down into the wide red eyes of her tormentor of several months.

Blood!

She dug two fingers into one of his eyes, tearing out it out. His scream pierced the underground hideout.

More!

Sakura threw it away before tearing out the other, a wide grin upon her face as she cackled. His screamed did nothing but encourage her and Karin could only watch in disgust and horror as Sakura exacted her revenge.

MORE!

Sakura swung the sword down, cutting off Kuromaru's hand.

MORE!

"MORE!" Sakura cackled as she slashed at his body, each time severing a part of his body. Amidst her screams and laughter, Kuromaru's fell silent.

Sakura paused and shook him. His face was still twisted in terror and pain but he wasn't breathing.

"No!" Sakura yelled, smacking his cheek. "Don't die!"

Her hands slipped into the hole her fist had made in his chest and she began to pull at his ribs and skin, breaking his ribcage open.

"You can't die yet!" She screamed.

Karin vomited from her place as her hand glowed with medical ninjutsu, trying to heal the damage Kuromaru's sword dealt.

Sakura was literally tearing into Kuromaru's chest, exposing his innards. She plucked his heart out, glaring down at Kuromaru. She growled and crushed it, the blood squirting about and running down her arm.

She was panting and shuddering and grabbed the sword again.

"Sakura!"

Karin sat up and looked to the entry where she heard Naruto call.

Sasuke made it first and his eyes widened when he took Kuromaru's body, feeling sick. Then movement drew his attention to the naked pinkette as she stood, her back to them.

Karin, who had a clear view of Sakura's front, flinched in fear.

"Sakura?" Sasuke choked out.

Sakura looked over her shoulders at them. She had blood splattered all over her face, bring out the green of her eyes. When she spotted his red eyes, she lunged off her unbroken leg with a furious scream.

Sasuke froze in shock but Naruto reached out and grabbed Sakura, restraining her.

"Sakura-chan, stop! It's us!"

"It's no use, Naruto!" Karin spoke up. "She's lost her mind!" She called over Sakura's angry and frustrated screams.

Naruto's eyes turned sorrowful as he looked upon his crazed loved one.

"Forgive me, Sakura-chan," he begged before knocking her out.

He caught her in his arms and shifted her so she was lying bridal style. Sasuke was still rooted to his spot. He simply stared at her naked form.

"Teme," Naruto called, drawing the Uchiha out of what ever thoughts were running through his mind.

Sasuke held his arms out and Naruto slipped the injured pinkette into his awaiting arms. Naruto picked up an exhausted Karin who didn't remove her eyes from Kuromaru's body. Black flames suddenly engulfed the bloody scene.

Sasuke turned away, followed by Naruto. Silently, they headed home but their minds couldn't help but ask.

Can Sakura come back from this?

FINALLY!

Sakura has been found and being returned home!

But can she recover from this or will it destroy her?

MUAHAHAHAH

I felt terrible about writing such a gory scene.

Kinda felt sick afterwards.

Now!

Several people have asked if I am anti-Sakura because of all the rape and torture she went through.

The answer is no.

Like HELL NO.

Sakura is my favourite character.

It might seem like I hate her because I had such terrible things happen to her but its my way of making you all feel for her!

I love seeing bad things happen to my fav chars because my heart goes out to them. I also feel like bad events build character.

I adore Sakura.

I don't hate her.

Why don't I torture Hinata?

Becoz I don't care what the fuck happens to her, so why bother?

Do you guys feel I went too far on Sakura's crazed revenge or was it well deserved?

Also, Naruto Gaiden chapter 4?
