Primacron sat at his large computer console, his head on the alien keyboard and covering himself, trying to block out what was on the monitor and what he was hearing regardless of what it was. Whether it be Tornedron or the two survivors he didn't care, he didn't want to hear or see any of it.

The small brown alien growled as he tried to block it all out all sound while at the same time trying piece together what he did wrong. Years and years of calculating and years and years of experimentation and still he failed even more so than he could've ever hoped.

He thought back to first creation, Unicron. The largest hard matter ever constructed by any sentient being. Inspired by the Cybertronian race as well as the Quintessons previous creations like the transorganics. A being that was mostly machinery but still had the structure and the fluidity of the giant living being and thus came his first creation; Unicron. The being however wanted to rule himself, because of this, it turned on him and nearly killed him.

Then through his broken mind, he felt that it was the fact that it was simply a being made of matter was the issue. Thus leading to the creation of Tornedron; a being of complete energy. Unlike Unicron who only accomplished destroying a number of planets and moons, Tornedron had drained all the energy from planets all around the galaxy and like Unicron, it has turned on him.

"Why? Is it simply...that I am not fit to rule?" Primacron said silently to himself clenching the controls. "I didn't want to destroy the universe."

-Base of the Complex-

"It seems that your key possesses an ability to absorb this energy leech." Starscream mussed while both he and Sari loomed over the key.

Sari kept an eye on it looking at it in wonder. To this day she never knew what she was holding onto all this time exactly. After all, she only used it as a 'Master Key' of sorts and as a repair tool. But exactly what it was, she really didn't know.

She continued to finger to key, still in wonder to what exactly she was possessing. "Still don't really know what happened there."

The ex-Decepticon put a servo to his chin whilst holding onto Sari in the other, in thought "How did that key to fruition anyway?"

"Well, it's kinda weird really. Basically I was exposed to the AllSpark ,when it was still together, and basically it turned my key card into...well...this." She answer while still looking at the key herself. It was just then she noticed something about the key. While she was rubbing around it she noted a bump protruding lightly on the back of the key. Curious, she turned it around and saw what looked like a small fragment was now inside the key. It was orange for a brief moment but it soon turned to bright blue.

"Whoa..."

The seeker raised an optic "Something interest you?"

It took a moment but she finally answered. "The...key. I think it has an AllSpark fragment..."

"You said you were exposed to the AllSpark when it was together!"

"Look!" she said proving her point by showing up to him. And sure enough Starscream had to agree that it was indeed an AllSpark fragment or at least looked like it.

"How did that happen?" Starscream mused to himself "Perhaps it's been there when the AllSpark was destroyed."

Sari sat in thought for a moment before piecing it together "Oh! It's your fragment!"

Once again Starscream was confused "What?"

"Remember!" She showed him the key again raising it "When I repaired you! The fragment disappeared! The key must've absorbed it somehow."

The seeker once again was impressed with Sari's thought and he happen to agree. And he could also tell that perhaps that's what made all the difference. Tornedron was always after them all until the key came into play for the first time but then it was afraid. But what difference did the fragment make? The key was already the power of the AllSpark so what did the fragment do? Also how did it get so small that a human child could hold onto it like this, much less into a small key?

"That doesn't explain why it kept coming after us." The Seeker began "Logically, it would avoid it's weakness." Sari looked a little down "Then again...it was the AllSpark that destroyed Unicron. Perhaps this Primacron has an obvious design flaw that is within his creations."

"Design flaw?" Sari cheered up with a smirk "Against the AllSpark?"

"Suppose the AllSpark has interesting powers..." he mused for a second.

"We need to get back to Primacron." Sari said suddenly.

"He won't help us. You said so yourself that-"

"I know but we need his help! We have a chance now!" She once again presented the key.

The seeker stood in thought looking at the young techno-organic. Part of him still felt hopeless, weather they had the key or not, he could tell that more than likely Tornedron wasn't going to fall for it with what they did before. Not to mention he was still running on empty, he'd probably run out of energy before he made it back to Cybertron if he tried and he knew Sari was probably going to fall over from exhaustion if she kept going like she was soon.

But at the same time, if one thing that carried over from his Decepticon days was his chance to take any kind of minor victory in any situation, no matter how minute. Something that came from his many attempts in trying to destroy Megatron or take over the Decepticons. And who was he to take the little chance they had left and toss it to the side? Part of him couldn't believe what he was about to do...

"Alright." the seeker said "This may be the only chance we'll ever get." Sari looked at him a bit bewildered "Only you can negotiate with Primacron."

She raised a brow "Wha-What are you talking about? We're a team."

"I'm also restricted to the base of this complex." he explained in an un-characteristically gentle tone "I'll send you back up so you can talk to Primacron again."

"Okay great!" Sari said excited but also noticed Starscream's tone "But what's wrong?"

Starscream gave a small smirk "If Tornedron is anything like Unicron, do you really think that it's going to take long for him to notice I don't have the key?"

This revelation shocked Sari, almost wanted to abandon the plan altogether "No, you have to survive!"

"If you succeed then perhaps everyone will survive." he explained "If you stay with me, any chance we have will be gone along with the rest of the universe."

She looked at her recently made friend with wide eyes. The ex-Decepticon really did change. The Starscream she originally knew seemed to have changed to something similar to that of an Autobot. But she also was sad at what he was implying, that this may be the last time they would speak to one another. She already lost her best friends, she didn't want to loose essentially her last one.

But this would be a lesson she has already learned once with Ratchet, even if she would lose her friends, it was for the greater good or in this case, a chance for the greater good. She was willing to die next to him when there was no hope, but now it was a chance but it may come at a cost.

Sari had tears but gave a determined and firm nod to him "Alright."

With that the Seeker did as he said and flew to the large hole he made and put her there so she could do as she planned. As she jumped off his servo she turned around to face him again. "I'll do my best for everyone!"

Starscream gave characteristic smirk "And if not, I'm sure you'll be apologizing about it profusely to me and everyone else in the Well of AllSparks."

One would probably take that as an insult or as a downer but Sari actually preferred this than some sappy good bye from Starscream of all bots. She gave one last smirk back holding onto her key and running back to Primacron down the hallway.

Starscream stayed there till she was no longer in sight. After that he descended into the base of the complex landing on his feet, ignoring all the still petrified creatures that he ruffed up earlier. He let his only means of defense go for the sake of the universe. Something like that was very unlike him, much less caring of another individual's safety.

Sari and the Autobots really did teach him a few things. Something he hated to admit but... maybe it was something he should've considered doing more often.

At that moment he noticed an orange gas seeping through the cracks of the large complex he made earlier. Starscream smirked at the irony that he sealed his fate. "Part of me can't even get mad at this..."

-Control Room Hallway-

Sari sprinted toward Primacron's Lab was, ignoring the pain that started coming from her ankle from the injury earlier. Racing through her mind was all her friends and her home planet. The whole galaxy's fate was in her hands and she wasn't going to let them down. She had to try...this was there only chance.

To her surprise, there were none of Primacron's creations this time just her running toward the place she knew where he was. When the door came in sight she immediately transformed her arm to it's blade form and stabbed through the key panel on the side, not even going to reason with Primacron. Part of her was annoyed that she didn't think of this before but now wasn't the time to dwell on that.

It wasn't immediate but the door did come open slowly. She stood on her guard using her other arm to keep ready for shooting if it was necessary. To her surprise, Primecron was just laying on the control panel not even acknowledging that she just broke in.

"We still have a chance!" She called out holding her arm out, ready to shoot "And you're going to help."

Primecron pushed himself off the control panel and slowly turned his head to face her "I never wanted to destroy the Universe..." Sari remained quiet letting him speak "I wanted order through the universe, no more wars or unjust in the galaxies." He turned back to one of the monitors watching the orange cloud, knowing it was only a matter of time before it would make it to him "I see that I was wrong... fate is cruel in that way." He turned around and faced Sari "I did say I would rather have him succeed than you...but I never wanted to destroy...just create." He paused before nodding "I will help you."

Sorry it's so short everyone. Okay, I want to make something clear, I've never abandoned this work. I admit this story is updated slower than Duke Nukem Forever (though I hope people don't think that the end result is going to be like that) but believe me I want to see this conclude too. Part of the reason is simply because of writer's block (though I know how I want to conclude this just not how to do it in words). There's also things like school but the main reason is the block but I think I can make more steady progress. Don't think I'm annoyed with the 'UPDATE!' message though, it tells me that people still care want to see a conclusion like I do too. Sometimes people need a good kick in the butt to make them realize that. With that said next chapter will probably be the last with an epilogue afterwards. Love you all! I'll get back to this when I can! TILL ALL ARE ONE!
