SEASON 2 IS FINISHED! season 3 here we come:) Damon's hallucinations are in Italic...Enjoy:D
Damon's bite had gotten worse. Olivia had just been staying inside with him, caring for him.
"I'll go and get you some scotch, yeah?" She told him and she left. He was pretty bad. He had even mentioned killing himself...Was that groaning? Olivia ran in, Damon stood there, his skin burning in the sun. He had taken off his ring. She threw him away from the window and ran to him, holding his arms and lying on his chest. "Damon, this is not Twilight. You do not sparkle." She laughed despite the situation.
"Can't I just die quickly?" Damon was completely serious.
"STEFAN?!" She shouted and Stefan arrived immediately. "Someone just tried suicide..." Stefan sped, holding Damon in his arms...He had headed down to the cellar. Olivia quickly ran down to them, it was awfully tiring running after vampires.
"I'm going to find a way out of this, Damon." Stefan turned to her. "Can you continue to watch over him?"
"Yeah, just find that cure, alright?"
"Of course I will." Stefan smiled. "Oh, and I wouldn't go in there." He then left. Damon coughed into his hand and Olivia saw sight of blood. Damon was coughing blood.
"What do you want to drink, Damon?"
"Scotch..." He sighed and she headed upstairs.
Florence stood there, wearing a dress of pink and blue, watching him with a smile.
"Damon, aren't you going to catch me?" She laughed a high childish laugh.
"If you're prepared to be caught, Flossie." He smiled and slowly walked towards her, she was so beautiful.
"Why don't we swap for today? You are the mouse and I am the cat?" Her forehead wrinkled as she thought.
"You would not be a cat; you are more like a kitten." Flossie ran to him and fell into his arms, laughing.
"You are too sweet, Damon."
"Not as sweet as you-"
"Damon." He turned, Olivia stood there. It was strange; Olivia was older than Florence now. They looked like sisters. "Don't you see? You were young, foolish...She is young, Damon. She is but a child." Florence giggled.
"Catch me?"She began to run and Damon smiled.
"Of course-" Damon was hallucinating. He rolled up his sleeve, his bite had gotten worse.
Olivia came to the cell door; Damon was looking at his bite.
"Well, that looks worse." She sighed.
"It feels worse. My subconscious is haunting me, Olivia." She wondered what he saw. "Please tell me you have something for that." She put the glass of scotch and his ring on the door window. "Nice." Damon got up and put on his ring. "You could hate me, you know." Olivia tilted her head, confused. "I sent you to live with your alcoholic aunt. I confused your life with the supernatural-"
"I wouldn't give this life up for anything." She said truthfully.
"I even killed your parents," He continued as if she hadn't said anything. "You must really hate me for that one." Damon got closer. "Kill me. Please?"
"Nope." She dropped the 'p'. He fell to the floor, now somehow tired.
"Olivia?" It was a cry.
"I'm here, Damon. I will always be here."
"I need blood." He told her. "I need blood." Olivia considered going in there and feeding him herself, but Stefan had told her not to go in there. She headed to the fridge which was down the corridor; she took a blood bag and turned her head. The sheriff was there with a gun to her head.
"Where's Damon?" The sheriff asked immediately.
"You know, now's not a good time, Sheriff. Trust me." Olivia rolled her eyes.
"He's over here." A Deputy shooed her over.
"I just wanna talk to him." The Sheriff continued to the cell.
"HE'S ILL, HE'S NOT HIMSELF!" Olivia shouted but it was too late, Liz had gone in there. There was a thud and then another. Damon sped out the cell and then he was gone. "Well shit." Olivia sighed.
Damon had been lost for the last hour.
"Damon?" Someone was calling his name. "DAMON?" It was Olivia. "I've been looking for ages. Damon, come on." She took hold of him. "We have to get you out of here. We have to hide you."
"Where are we going?" Damon sounded generally confused.
"EVERYWHERE!" Florence screamed in answer and threw her arms into the air.
"Flossie, you're going too fast..." Damon tripped and Olivia rushed over to him. He pinned Florence against a tree/ he pinned Olivia against a post.
"Hey, relax...We need to get you out of here." Olivia struggled in his grip.
"Why must I always need to catch you?" Damon asked her.
"Because I like to know that you will catch me..." She giggled.
"I will always choose you, Florence." Damon leaned into Olivia's neck.
"Look at me, Damon. Hey. It's Olivia...I'm not Flossie." Her breathing had gotten faster, she was scared.
"Promise me you will be mine forever?" Damon leaned even closer to Florence's neck.
"NO, DAMON. NO." Olivia screamed.
"I have to...I'm ever so hungry and I love you." He bit her neck and began to drink her blood.
"DAMON, STOP." Olivia's body was starting to shake uncontrollably. "You're hurting me. Damon, you don't have to do this." She was losing too much. "PLEASE STOP! YOU'RE HURTING ME!" He let go of her neck and looked at her, his mouth smeared with her blood.
"Olivia?" Damon fell to the floor and she gasped. Had he really just bitten her?
"HELP?" Olivia couldn't carry him to the house on her own.
"Hello?" A dark figure came down the alleyway. He had medium length brown hair and camel skin; his brown eyes seemed to sparkle with the stars in the sky. It was Gale. Olivia ran towards him and hugged him. "Olivia? Is that you-?" She interrupted him.
"Help me take him back to the house. Please?"
Damon lay on his bed; he was sweating now and looked sicker than ever. Olivia and Gale were speaking in the corridor, away from him.
"Thank you, Gale. I'll call you if I need any more help-" He interrupted her.
"Why did you go?" His voice was deeper now. "The last thing I heard from you was to leave town, then 2 years past and I nearly forgot about you."
"I would love to explain, really, but I need to care for Damon now. Thank you, Gale." Gale left with a nod and Olivia headed to Damon, a towel in her hands.
"Olivia." Damon said her name, as if for the hell of it.
"Its okay, Damon. I'm right here." She sat next to him on the bed.
"Olivia, get out of here. I could hurt you again-" He coughed and he finished his sentence. Olivia wrapped her arms around him.
"Hang on, okay? It's okay. Everything is going to be okay-"
"It's not okay, Olivia." Damon frowned. "For all those years, I've blamed Stefan for her death but It wasn't his fault. She did ask me to teach her how to swim but I kept saying no." He was talking about Florence...That's what he was probably hallucinating about. "I made the wrong choice. You tell Stefan I'm sorry, Okay?" She nodded and wiped his face with the towel before putting her head against his.
Damon was still in Olivia's arms.
"I've made a lot of choices that have gotten me here." Damon commented simply. "I deserve this, I deserve to die."
"Damon, you don't at all." She was trying to stay strong, she couldn't cry in front of him.
"I do, Olivia. But it's okay because if I'd have chosen differently, I wouldn't have met you. I'm so sorry; I've done so many things to hurt you..."
"It's okay, I forgive you."
"I know I only kept you alive because of Flossie but," She took his hand and put her head on his chest. "I love you for 'you' now. You should know that..."
"I do, Damon." The tears were coming.
"You should have met me in the 50s, you would have liked me-" Olivia raised her head and looked at him.
"I love you now, just the way you are." He closed his eyes and she reached towards him, and she kissed him.
"Thank you, Olivia, for everything-"
"Well, it's me you should be thanking." Olivia turned to see Elena standing there with curly hair. "I mean I'm the one who brought the cure." She smirked. "It's nice to finally meet you, Olivia." This wasn't Elena, it was Katherine. Her hair seemed to be a shade darker than Elena's and she parted it to the left. Her make-up was darker than Elena's. Even though they seemed the same, they weren't. Katherine made her other to Damon; she was incredibly theatrical in her movement as if she had rehearsed the situation before.
"You got free and you still came here?" Damon asked her.
"I owed you one." She got a viral of blood out of her jacket and feed it to Damon, leaving a little in there. Katherine got up and faced her. "Stefan gave himself over to Klaus."
"What do you mean 'gave himself over'?" She asked, only Katherine continued as if she hadn't said anything.
"And Stefan may have added you in with the deal. Klaus is expecting you in," She checked her watch. "Twenty minutes, say your goodbyes." Then she was gone.
"Katherine must be lying-" Olivia interrupted Damon.
"She can't be. Klaus wanted me two years ago; Stefan knew he wouldn't turn me down." The tears were finally here, rolling down her cheeks. "You must promise to come get me, Damon...Promise me."
He sped towards her, now cured.
"I promise." She fell into his arms.
Stefan watched as Klaus turned to the two men.
"Put it with the others." He pointed to the coffin that contained Elijah, there were others? "We're leaving town tonight. Stefan's phone buzzed, Olivia was texting him:
Damon is fine, I'm round the corner. x
"So, did Katerina make it in time?" Klaus asked, why did he care now?
"Yes, Damon is fine."
"And Olivia? Is she nearly here-?" Long bangs interrupted Klaus's question. Olivia came from the corner, carrying a large floral suitcase behind her.
"I'm here." Her voice cracked as she spoke. She had been crying.
"Ah, lovely." Klaus smiled. "Now we can go."
