As you know I don't have a beta and reviews is what keeps me story was highly requested if there is another of my storeys you want to see next let m know. There is a question at the end I love if you guys could answer.
"It hasn't changed," Caroline said as she walked through the threshold.
"Well last time, you were breaking an entry." Klaus joked as he took off his jacket.
"Not true. Your doorman lets me up. If I were You, I would up your security. "
"I already did."
"What does that mean? Did you fire the poor man? "Caroline said shocked, "I made him believe I was your secretary if anyone should get in trouble it's me. That poor man." Klaus just shook his head as he walked into the living room.
"Klaus." Calling his name as she followed him.
"I'm joking." He informed her as he walked over to his black leather couch with his ring phone in hand.
"You can answer that," Caroline told him as she took a seat on his couch.
"It can wait for tomorrow." Putting his phone back in his pocket.
"Thank you again for doing this."
"I told you already, you don't have to thank me."
"I do, you had to deal with Kol all day. You deserve to be thanked and so much more." He informed her scooting closer to Caroline.
"That's true." Shrugging at his comment, "But he's not too bad in small doses."
Klaus let out a chuckle as he swiped her hair off her shoulder. "Yes, very small doses. Now imagine having to grow up with him."
"Please, he most has been entertaining."
"Mostly when he was not playing pranks on me and the others or driving us insane." As he remembered all of Kol's many pranks, "One time he got gum stuck in Finn's hair, and it was hilarious until our father put a stop to it." He said seriously.
"You and your father don't get along." She stated
Klaus let out a sigh," That's an understatement." Playing with the strap of her dress, running his fingers on her shoulder.
"Mikael's not my biological father." He simply said as he looked up at Caroline.
"I'm the product of my mother infidelity." He told her like it was nothing," Mikael allowed me to be born." Klaus let out a small laugh as he pulled away from her and leaned back on the couch.
"At first he was indifferent, but as I grew older and my grandfather started showing interest in me. It's when it all started, he had always punished me. It just got worse over the years, especially when my grandfather passed away. Leaving me in charge of the company once I graduated high school." He told Caroline as he opened his arms for her to come closer to him, placing her head on his shoulders as he continued telling her about his past. "Mikael lost it that day, he went as far as to say I might have killed him." Klaus let out a chuckle looking down at Caroline. "My grandmother in her pain almost believed him, until the family doctor said he had a stock while sleeping. That he went peacefully." He continued," To try and make peace my grandmother made Mikael in charge while I finished college. He tried to find any way for me not to become CEO but in the end, he stepped down and gave me my rightful spot." Caroline ran her fingers over his chest feeling his heart beat calm down, somewhat. "He does resent me. And hopes that I fail anyway so he can come in and take over but you know what the messed up part is."
Caroline stopped and looked up at him. "At the end of the day, Mikael is the only father I know, sure he would at times belittle me and punish me in no way a child should. But at the end of the day, he gave me and education, feed me and in his messed up way let me be part of the family. It doesn't excuse him but ..."
Caroline nodded.
"At least he's been there. "Caroline leaned over and place a kiss on his check. As Klaus leaned forward and place a kiss on her lips, as his hand slowly slipped around her neck pulling her closer.
"I know you're tired." He whispered into the kiss pulling back from her.
"I might be, but that doesn't mean I don't want you." Looking straight at him.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." As he lifted her in her arms and made their way to his bedroom.
"Caroline Dear, I want to introduce you to a friend," Mary called out as Caroline place the coffee pot down.
"Hello," Caroline said as she extends her hand taking the older brunette's hand. "Caroline," smiling at her.
"Jane-Anne," The older women told her, shocking her completely "As In, One in a moon."
Jane-Anne let out a laugh, "It been a while since anyone recognized my name and linked me with that book."
"I study your poem book while I was in college, but it was your article's that really got my attention, the way your words showed what was truly going on in the world made me want to be a writer or journalist. The piece you did on the history of new Orleans." Caroline was awed remembering the first time she read one of Jane-Anne work.
"Thank you, child." as she turned over to speak with Mary. "Your right she just not looks."
"Why you never believe me." Throwing a hand in the air Turing to Caroline. "Since we were kids this one never listen to me. I told her not to marry her first husband and you see what happen."
"We got an annulment Mary, so it's like we were never married." Caroline could help but laugh at the Comment. She hoped down the line this is how Bonnie and Elena would interact with each other.
Mary smiled over at Caroline, "I actually told Jane- Anne that you might be interested in a job position that opened up at her bookstore." Caroline was shocked by the comment.
"Oh, child Close that mouth. "Marry told her, "Truly I think you are perfect for the job is a management position and you be making more than here. We both know you're too good to be in this place."
"I don't know what to say," Caroline did not know what to say, it took her long to get this job. That when she got the offer she took it. She needs to pay her rent and loans.
"Well, why don't you stop by next Wednesday, and will talk about it I'll show you what you had to do and you let me know if you want to take the job," Jane-Anne told her extending her a card as she stood up. "Well, it was great seeing you Mary, got to get back to the store." Smiling and bidding goodbye.
"Thank you, Mary," Caroline said hugging her excited by the offer.
"You deserve it. Now, why don't you go back to work before my husband starts complaining." Caroline let out a laugh as she picked up the coffee pot with a bounce in her step it seemed her life was Turing around.
When I started writing this story Never did I think I be conftrable writing Smut, but if you have read All Work you know things changed in my writing. My question is do you want this story to move from Rated T to Rated M ?
