A bit of a surprise in this one hope you like it. Thank you thank you to all of you who take the time to review, can't tell you how much it means.

Ziva watched the traffic around them grow heavier and realized they weren't anywhere near either of their homes.

"We are not going home?"

"Nope got a surprise for you, us really but more you." He grinned when she frowned slightly and stared out the window. He found a parking lot and pulled into a spot. "We have to walk a little ways so I'm going to give you this here first." From the pocket of his suit jacket he pulled a small bag and laid it in her hand. For just a moment he felt his heart race and his mouth go dry. But the look on her face as she emptied the bag into her hand settled everything in place.

Ziva felt the slightest weight of the gold in her hand and had to work hard to remember to breathe. "Jethro…" In her hand were two bands of gold one the simplest circle, the other a scrolling blend of twisted gold that was nearly identical to her bracelet. Shock hit her in the solar plexus and she found her eyes meeting his full of more questions than she could voice.

Gibbs couldn't help but smile. Her shock was more than genuine he could see it in the way she kept looking from the rings to him and back again. "Oddest thing Ziva, went looking for some tools at my favorite antique shop and found that ring. There in the counter right next to a CD player and some wrenches was that ring. Funny the things you can find if you aren't even looking. Figured it was a sign." He watched her eyes well up and brushed a thumb along the corner of her eye. "Thought maybe we could make it official today."

Ziva had known the moment she'd seen the rings what his intention was but hearing him say it out loud still had her looking at him with a fair amount of surprise. "Jethro you do not have do this. I am already yours. I don't want you to feel pressured, pushed."

Gibbs pressed a kiss to her forehead once again counting himself more than lucky to have her in his life. "Not having to do anything Zi, it's about wanting to do this. But you can say no. If you want things to stay the way they are you can say no and nothing will change." It amazed him that he meant exactly what he was saying. If she wasn't ready for marriage he could live with that.

Ziva sniffled slightly and smiled, closing her hand around the rings she looked at him and nodded. "I would love to marry you Jethro" His smile crooked and genuine had her breathing in every part of the moment. Glancing around she finally understood why they were parked just blocks away from the courthouse. "Are we here to get a license then?"

Gibbs shook his head. "Called in a favor earlier. We have to fill out the license but we don't have to wait hoping you'd marry me today." He watched her smile again and then laugh softly. "What?"

She looked away briefly then back at him. "I thought for a moment you were reacting to the moment with Gruber and then Jack but since you made that call before.."

Gibbs pressed to fingers under her chin forcing their eyes to meet. "It's just about us Ziva, because it's time."

Ziva glanced out the car at the bright light of day and the people walking here and there. "We could get caught."

Gibbs nodded. "Possibly, not likely but even so I figure that's going to happen sooner rather than later." He knew she'd been feeling the same when she didn't disagree. "I can take you home if you feel like you need to change but I think you look beautiful."

Ziva shook her head. "I do not need anything more than you." Ziva slid the rings back in the bag and tucked them back in his pocket.

It took less time than they would have thought to walk the few blocks to the courthouse. Being later in the day it was busy and it wasn't until Gibbs once again pulled out his phone and made a quick call that they were escorted to the back of a courtroom.

Gibbs watched Sawyer step into the room a knowing grin on his face. "So I finally get to meet the infamous Ziva David." He watched her hike an eyebrow first at him and then Gibbs.

"So you have been speaking of me behind my neck? Should I be worried?" Gibbs fought a smile and she cocked her head. "If I said something wrong I do not care to know I like to believe I am getting better."

Gibbs only continued smiling. "Sawyer Reed this is Ziva David."

Ziva accepted the handshake the other man offered. "I am guessing it is because of you that we are able to be married without the wait. Thank You."

"Hard to refuse Gibbs when he asks for something." He watched her blush and laughed. "The judge will be here shortly. If you have no objection Ziva I can be a witness."

"Of course." She felt Gibbs squeeze her hand and turned to him. "If you have second thoughts you should run now."

Gibbs heard the laughter in her voice but still wanted her certain. "No doubts Ziva, besides I know how fast you can throw a knife." He watched her blush and heard Sawyer clear his throat. The moment was broken when the door opened and the judge stepped in.

Gibbs accepted the handshake from the man who identified himself as Nathan Taylor, next to him he felt Ziva fidget and look down at the floor. After a quick glance he saw the Judge startle a bit and then grin when he looked at her.

"Well hello Ziva good to see you here for a different reason." Nathan watched a blush wash over her cheeks.

"Yes sir much better circumstances." She saw the questions on both Gibbs and Sawyer's faces and sighed loudly. "I told you I get a lot of speeding tickets."

"And she always ends up in my courtroom. You're soon to be wife Mr. Gibbs has quite the lead foot." He watched as the couple looked to each other and Ziva shrugged.

Gibbs laughed far harder than he should have ignoring the punch in his arm. "Have to say Judge I have a similar problem though hers comes from dodging landmines and IED's so I can't get too upset." He watched the surprise on the judge's face and knew Ziva had never tried to excuse her tickets simply appeared and done her duty.

"Well that would explain a lot. Now to the matter at hand are you two ready, have vows?" Only Ziva looked caught off guard by the question.

"I know what I'm going to say." Gibbs watched Ziva think for a moment and then look to him and nod.

"As do I. I am ready."

Standing in front of them Nathan offered a quick wink at Ziva and watched her smile. Sawyer stood just off to the side keeping his presence low key. "We shall begin then."

Gibbs reached forward taking Ziva's hands in his own, more than surprised at the way they trembled. Just the slightest shaking but enough to convey her nerves he smiled when she met his gaze as squarely as always.

"Today we gather for the marriage of Jethro Gibbs and Ziva David. Do you both come here and to this marriage of your own free will, and desire to be joined to each other?"

"I do." Ziva heard Gibbs voice at the same time as her own and felt a moment of relief at how strong and sure it sounded.

"Since you have chosen your own vows, I will ask you Jethro to go first." For the first time since he'd walked in the room Nathan watched the man look the slightest bit nervous.

Gibbs looked at Ziva rolling his shoulder back slightly. "You'll have to forgive me if I say this wrong. Took a while to learn it. "Harei At Mekudeshet Li B'taba'at Zo Kedat Moshe V'Yisrael." Gently he slid the ring on her finger not the least bit surprised it fit as it should. He watched Ziva carefully for any sign that the words he'd worked hard to remember had come out wrong. Instead all he saw was the slight hint of tears in her eyes and heard the soft intake of breath. Realizing the judge was watching he repeated the words in English just to be sure. "Behold, you are consecrated to me with this ring according to the laws of Moses and Israel."

Ziva wasn't sure how Gibbs had known just what the right words for her would be, but as always he did. Their marriage was not about taking someone but of sharing of being held sacred and he'd told her that with the most beautiful words.

Nathan turned his attention to Ziva who he had to admit he liked more than a little. "Ziva.."

Ziva clenched Gibbs' hands even tighter showing him she had no doubts. "I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine." Sliding the ring on his finger she found her hands no longer shaking, but back to the steady and true she was more familiar with.

Gibbs understood her vows as instantly as he knew she'd understood his. His research into Jewish culture helped but wouldn't have been necessary. For a moment he was so caught up in her smile he almost didn't hear the judge speaking again.

"Jethro and Ziva have declared their intention to join their lives in marriage..and we now accept them as husband and wife. Jethro you may kiss your bride."

Not having to be told twice Gibbs leaned in and gave Ziva a gentle kiss, nothing more than a soft pressing of his mouth against hers. He knew it was just right when he pulled away and the smile in her eyes was almost like a physical touch. For just a moment he simply savored the moment, her smile and just drank in the joy he'd thought he'd never have again.

Ziva looked at Jethro and was amazed at the happiness in him. If she'd had any doubts they would have been washed away by the grin on his face and the way he looked at her. This moment meant as much to him as it did to her.

It was nearly a half hour later and all the paper work was signed and filed. Still in the judge's chambers Gibbs shook Sawyers hand. "Thanks for everything. We still need to get together for dinner soon."

"Agreed. But not tonight you two need to enjoy your evening." He turned to Ziva and offered her a quick hug. "You're a brave woman Ziva. Hang in there." He heard her laugh as he made his way out of the room.

As they walked back towards the car, Gibbs impulsively picked a handful of daisies and tucked them behind her ear. She smiled but it was followed by a frown. "Something wrong?"

"You should check your phone. When I turned mine on I had multiple messages from Abby. She wants to see us." She watched frustration settle on his face.

"We can say no Ziva." She leaned into him after taking a quick glance around and sighed.

"We will go in but if it takes long than perhaps we will sneak out, Yes?" The kiss on the top of her head was his silent agreement.

"Tonight is ours Ziva no matter what. Work can just wait." Gibbs glanced at her dress. "I'll have to change or people will wonder but I like you like this."

Ziva took his hand in hers and traced his ring. "You should probably take this off at least when we are at work." It was his turn to frown and she stroked his jaw gently. Letting her hand slip down to his neck she tugged gently on the chain around his neck. "Perhaps right here so you are still wearing it."

Gibbs smiled at her suggestion, and more that she understood his reluctance to take off the ring so recently put on. "Good idea."

Forty five minutes later they had stopped long enough for Gibbs to change and Ziva to step into a cab. This time they both grinned at the subterfuge involved with just trying to arrive at work separately. Somehow Gibbs managed to arrive before her and found once again the team waiting on him. If they weren't careful his and Ziva's continued late arrivals was going to tip someone off.

"Abby I got your message sorry I didn't get back to you had my phone off." She gave him a sly grin that made him wonder just what she knew.

"No problem. Found some hinky stuff and I thought it was better to have you come here. Maybe it's my gut this time." Abby took the offered caf-pow and watched Gibbs look around.

"Where's Ziva?" He watched Abby bite back another smile behind her caf-pow. McGee looked up from a computer and shrugged. Tony looked up about to answer when his mouth fell open, then closed and opened again. Finally he pointed at the entrance to Abby's lab.

Gibbs had just seen her yet watching her walk in he saw what the others had to be seeing. She did in fact look amazing. The soft lavender dress flowed, wafting around her with every step of silver colored heel. Her hair caught up in one of the elaborate braids she favored resembled a crown atop her head and the flowers tucked in behind her ear made her look very much what she was today…a bride. She paused as she entered the room and stared at them all.

"What?"

Tony looked at Gibbs and wondered for just a moment at the grin on his bosses face. But then Gibbs shook his head and chuckled. Ziva for her part fixed all of them with a hard look. "You act as though a woman in a dress is shocking."

"Just you Ziva. Not every day you see an assassin in lavender." The hard smack to the back of his head was no less intense than when Gibbs did it but made him laugh harder that it was Abby.

"What do you have Abby." Gibbs turned his focus to the case because if he didn't he was going to pull Ziva into his arms and embarrass them both.

"Haven." Abby stared at her computer not aware of the bombshell she'd just dropped. Beside her Tony and Mcgee stared at the screen with her.

Gibbs couldn't stop his quick glance at Ziva who managed to hide her surprise but just barely.

"What does that mean Abby?"

Abby looked over her shoulder trying to read Gibbs despite the fact she knew that wasn't possible unless he allowed it. "I'm not sure. I was doing some pretty sophisticated internet searches and there was mention of a very exclusive club called Haven. The computer pinged me. Now normally I have the searches set to auto file anything that meets my search criteria. Only this time when I clicked on the link to follow the information found by the search it cleared the hard drive I was working off of. Somehow it completely deleted everything I had found. And the link isn't there anymore either. All I managed to read was a quick blurb about some sort of club named Haven and the only reason I even found it in connection to the description of the H on the ID cards. It was some sort of forum and the mention in the blurb was you better never lose you ID." Abby bounced and took a long sip of Caf-pow. "The hinky part as I mentioned is the forum isn't there, the link as I said is gone and despite trying the search again in a few different ways nothing else has shown up. And of course the fact my hard drive is completely toasted. Luckily I've learned the hard way to use a disposable hard drive so nothing important was affected but still it's more than a little weird."

Gibbs wondered if perhaps it was more than hinky but part of Haven's plan to allow them information bit by bit. Looking at Abby he wasn't sure quite what to say.

Ziva wondered about the fact Abby had been "lucky" enough to see the one part of the search that would give her just that much information. "So you are saying if you had not been here when it found that particular line of information you would have missed it once it had erased itself?"

Abby nodded "most likely. It happened really fast. I had just enough time to read it but if I had been grabbing coffee or even just on the other side of the room it's possible it would have erased it before I got through it. I've seen programs like this before less sophisticated mind you but similar. Call it conspiracy or whatever but some searches just set off a virus or in really ugly scenarios a total erasure of your hardware. Most people without my sort of experience will end up facing a wall of pop ups and spam. It's usually enough for them not to continue that specific search again. Thus the information is safe. In this case I had programs in place to deal with those typical attacks but this. This one someone knew what they were doing and had all the resources to do it."

Tony stared at Abby's computer and now understood the blank screen. "Someone doesn't want anyone knowing anything about Haven…whatever it is." The murmurs of agreement were quiet but enough to portray what everyone was thinking. What had these couples gotten themselves into?

"Was there anything else Abs?" Gibbs ran a hand through his hair, feeling again the weight of their duty to find the final missing couple and killers of the others.

"Nothing Gibbs. I've been looking and I'll keep looking but something tells me information is going to be hard to find. I don't think we've had a case this lacking in information before." She watched him nod in agreement.

Suddenly McGee who had stolen a sip of Abby's caf-pow started choking, hard enough in fact that Tony started thumping him on his back. "What's wrong with you probie?"

McGee tried to hide his brief glance at Ziva but knew he failed when three sets of eyes turned to her. He failed at subtlety he knew that but he should have tried harder.

Ziva felt the weight of everyone watching her and a quick flick of Abby's eyes up and down the length of her and a sudden indrawn breath told her the dance was up. "Go ahead Abby you might as well ask."

She saw the light dawn in Gibbs' eyes as she spoke, saw the self-recrimination that had no business there and simply smiled at Abby.

"Is that what I think it is?"

"Is what….what. Would someone please tell me what is going on?" Tony watched Ziva smile that smile only women seemed to know and lift her hand in front of his face. A not so simple band of gold waived in front of him. The fact she fairly glowed with joy was the only reason he was able to give her the genuine smile she deserved. Her happiness filled the room along with the faintest longing of approval she would never admit to needing. "Congratulations Ziva."

"Thank you Tony."

"Wait did I interrupt the wedding?" Abby was trying hard not to run over and hug Gibbs who she knew should be sharing in the joy but instead she gave Ziva a very tight hug.

"The ceremony was over. However I would like to get back home soon."

"Ziva you could have called in." Gibbs worked hard to hide a smile when she simply lifted a brow at him.

"He understands. And it was unexpected we decided just today to get married. So please do not be upset that none of you were invited." She saw the faintest bit of hurt on Tony's face and felt badly.

Tony stretched his neck and shoved his hands in his pockets "So do we get to meet your mystery man now that you two are official?"

Ziva saw the same question on McGee's face and knew she could only answer as honestly as possible. "Most likely it will be soon. We just have a few more things to iron out."

Gibbs glanced at his watch, "We have work tomorrow. We should head upstairs work out a plan for tomorrow and then head home." No one liked working the weekend shift but since the incident with Paula Cassidy's team no one complained and rarely did anyone switch duties. The nods all around were all he needed. "I'll be up in just a minute. Just need to chat with Abby."

Gibbs saw Ziva's quick smile when the guys weren't looking and answered with the same. When the elevator doors finally closed he was ready for the pouncing hug Abby gave him.

"Gibbs! Congratulations. I can't believe you did it." Abby hugged him longer than she knew he was comfortable with just because it was good for him.

"Thanks Abby. Sorry you couldn't be there." He was sorry a little at least for the fact that she'd been supportive through everything. But he knew that Ziva as well as he had been happy with the very brief private ceremony.

"It's ok Gibbs you two are pretty private guessed it would happen this way. But you should go be with Ziva." She kissed him briefly on the cheek. "Be good to each other Gibbs."

Gibbs managed a hug but no words. Abby held a special place in his heart and always would. Much like Ducky her approval mattered even if he couldn't say it out loud. Stepping onto the elevator he wondered what would happen when the rest of the world found out about their relationship. Would the guys be just as understanding? He honestly couldn't answer that and that bothered him even more. Then of course there was Vance, and the job but even as that thought crept through his mind the even bigger thought of how one Eli David would react made him wonder as well. Not a man Gibbs feared on any level yet one to remain watchful of. The relationship between Eli and Ziva was contentious at best. Stopping the elevator he stared at the ceiling saying a silent prayer they came out of all the secrets unscathed. With the prayer and a sharp smack on the back of the head, he stepped out of the elevator and made his way back to Ziva.
