Disclaimer: I do not own Magi!
Chapter 29
Althea's entire body twitched as she sat by Sinbad. She used too much of her magoi and she haven't had much experience in manipulating the rukh out of her; especially the black Rukh. Althea held her left arm and managed to stop the black rukh from invading to her heart. If it did, than the situation would've been quite different.
"What should we do about this?" asked Alibaba as he held his arm.
"What a shame to allow this to happen in our presence…" said Sharrkan.
Althea glanced at everyone before Sinbad spoke, "Don't panic." He said as he rose his hand, "Curses don't exist. This is most likely some sort of magic. Isn't that right, Yamuraiha?"
The magician looked at Sinbad's arm, looking at it intently. "Yes. This is magic. This black bruise…it works because of magic. If this is magic, then I'm sure there is a way to cancel it!"
Alibaba and Aladdin beamed, "That's great…!" they said.
Yamuraiha frowned, "But I've never seen such magic. It's a magic that attacks other people's magoi. I have no idea what orders of formula made this magic work! For a magic as complex as this, only the person who cast it would know how to undo it…" she said.
"How come…" said Alibaba before Aladdin spoke, "But you're certain this is magic. So there must be a way to undo it, right?"
Yamuraiha looked at her student, "Y-Yes…"
Althea smiled as Aladdin spoke confidently, "Then I will undo it. I won't let you three die from such magic!" he said.
Alibaba looked at his friend, "Aladdin…"
"Althea Onee-San… " said Aladdin, as he looked at her. "Is there a way?"
Everyone looked at her as Althea's face was passive. There was a slight moment as Althea smiled a bit, "There is always a way if you look hard enough" she said.
Sinbad looked at Althea as the two knew what they were going to do, "In any case, Yamuraiha…suppress the magic on Alibaba for the moment." said Sinbad as he got up.
Aladdin looked at him, "But…didn't he cast the same magic on you and Althea Onee-san?" he asked.
Sinbad looked at Aladdin, "Yea….Well, I'm alright." He said with a smile. Althea glanced at the group as Spartos, Sharrkan, and Pisti didn't realize why he said he was alright with Alibaba and Aladdin. Althea looked at the other group; Drakon, Hinahoho, Masrur, and Ja'far as they knew what he was going to do and the darker side of Sinbad.
Althea smiled at the younger group, "Don't worry about us," she said with a tight smile "We are more than what meets than eye."
Sinbad looked at Althea before he looked at Yamuraiha, "Well then…there's only one thing left for us to do. Yamuraiha." He said.
"Yes?" said the magician.
"Prepare the teleportation magic circle…" he said.
Yamuraiha nodded and did what her king instructed. Althea simply reassured the younger group before she turned to the older group of the Eight Generals. "Keep an eye out for us while we're gone." Said Althea.
They bowed slightly, "You be safe now, Lady Althea." Said Ja'far.
Althea smirked to herself and smiled darkly to herself, "Of course" she said before she turned around and followed after Sinbad.
As Yamuriaha prepared the teleportation magic circle, Althea stood by Sinbad. The King of Sindria looked at her, "Are you sure you want to come along?" he asked.
Althea was silent and folded her arms under her chest. The black rukh were starting to influence her like it was doing to Sinbad as she grinned darkly at him. "What? You expect me to let you go off by yourself?" she said with an amused tone.
Sinbad chuckled to himself as the teleportation magic circle was ready as Sinbad spoke, "Don't leave my side".
Althea chuckled to herself, "I'll always be by your side, my King" she said before the two entered through the circle.
There was a flash of light before Althea came upon the large span of the ocean and saw the Al Thamen member riding on his scythe that was flying high above in the air and he was clearly surprised. Althea grinned to herself as Sinbad had a smile of his own, "Hey. Did you really think that someone from Al Thamen," said Althea.
"Would return alive after illegally trespassing into my country?" finished Sinbad.
The Al Thamen member grabbed his weapon in his hand as both Althea and Sinbad floated in the air. "Release the magic on Alibaba" said Sinbad.
Ithnan smiled to himself, "That's impossible. That's the 'The will of our father'. It is already out of my hands."
Sinbad looked at him, "I see…" he said and was silent. "Althea."
The Lady of Sindria looked at him before she bowed her head and allowed Sinbad to do what he wanted. Sinbad raised his hand up and spoke, "Spirit of Dominance and Submission, Focalor. Dwell in my body." The wrist piece around Sinbad's hand started to glow before his entire body was enveloped in light and Althea was met with the sight of Sinbad in full Djinn equip. Sinbad smiled at Ithnan, "In that case, you're of no use" he said.
Ithnan laughed, "How conceited of you, Sinbad, to come after me with the Lady of Sindria." He said, "Even if you've survived until today because you were protected by those household vessel users and that magic barrier…"
Althea spoke, "That barrier is not something used to just protect Sinbad."
Ithnan widened his eyes and gritted his teeth. Sinbad had an amused smile as Ithnan narrowed his eyes at both Sinbad and Althea, "You play petty tricks…" he said.
Sinbad let out a yell of pain as Althea flinched at the pain in her body. The 'curse' was quickly spreading throughout Sinbad and Althea was feeling his pain. The black Rukh were flying as Sinbad gripped his head in pain. Ithnan laughed, "From the moment you were given that curse, you became a doll I can manipulate at will! Watch! The black Rukh that propagate in that bruise are my servants! Let's see how much black Rukh were raised in your body-"
Althea gritted her teeth but she started to laugh as Ithnan realized something was wrong as a light appeared at the center of Sinbad's chest. Althea raised her contaminated arm as the black rukh that Ithnan placed were leaving her body and were being purified. A warm smile returning to her face as Ithnan widened his eyes.
A sad look appeared on Althea's face as she saw the symbol of a circle that was black on one half and white on the other.
"What's that…" said Ithnan as they all watched the black rukh being expelled from his body as Sinbad grinned. "The black rukh were…." Said Ithnan as Sinbad grinned.
"So that was the curse, huh? Unfortunately, this body is already cursed. Your curse wasn't strong enough to take over" commented Sinbad as Althea had a passive face but her eyes twinkled with amusement at Ithnan as wind started to build in Sinbad's arm.
She watched him shake in fear, "Impossible…Impossible, Impossible, you!? You're already fallen…!?" said Ithnan as black and white wind built in his arms. Sinbad clamped his hands together, "I didn't want to use power of this side, especially with Althea here, but…Foraz Zoura!" he yelled as he brought his fist down.
Althea stumbled back and was thrown back by the black and white winds as they combined together. It hit Ithnan in an instant and broke through the rocks below.
Althea begun to fall from the sky and Sinbad immediately flew down, his arms catching her easily. Althea let out a ragged breath as a line sheen of sweat covered her body. They landed on the beach below and Sinbad looked at his companion. Her body was twitching from pain and stress as he narrowed his eyes.
It was a bad idea to bring her with him. Sinbad lowered her onto the ground as Sinbad walked forward to the doll that Ithnan was reduced to. He stared at it darkly, "No one in Al Thamen will be spared" he said before he crushed the doll in in his hand "You are not needed in the future of this world."
Althea went to grip her clothes to her body closer and heard Sinbad making his way over. He knelt down and placed his hand on her face. "Are you alright?" he asked.
Althea try to give a brave smile, "I've had worse" was her only response. "I haven't purified black Rukh in a very long time Sinbad and it took a took on me mentally and physically-"she said before she yelped.
Sinbad had slipped his arms around Althea and carried her bridal style. "I can stand up by myself-" she said but her words were silence as Sinbad pressed his lips against hers. Althea gripped Sinbad's shoulder as the King of Sindria walked and greedily pressed his lips against Althea's.
After a moment, Althea let out a gasp for breath as Sinbad let her breath. Althea slapped his head and grumbled tiredly, "Greedy" as she sighed in defeat.
Sinbad chuckled to himself before he took Althea back to Sindria, allowing his sanity to be restored by Althea's presence and being.
When they arrived back at Sindria, the two immediately went to check on the situation with Alibaba. Yamuraiha brought them up to date as Althea knelt by Alibaba's side. She reached out and gripped his arm, as the Lady of Sindria concentrated.
"Althea onee-san?" said Aladdin as Althea concentrated.
She gave a small smile to Aladdin, "I can hold back the curse from Alibaba's body and direct it to my own. While I do that, do what you can for Alibaba." She said.
Aladdin widened his eyes, "But-"
Althea merely smiled at him before Althea concentrated. 'Please…rukh…let me save this child; Alibaba!' she thought as she closed her eyes. The Rukh around her fluttered as Althea begun to search for the black rukh.
The outside world around her was being cut off as she found the major flow of the black rukh. She could feel a warmer side to the rukh and it felt familiar to her. A figure appeared in front of her as it took her sometime to realize who it was.
'Ah…so you're holding as much of the black rukh back as you can.' she thought as the figure nodded. Cassim held out his hand and Althea took it, dragging as much of the black rukh out as possible. Althea verbally hissed as everyone could see her arms turning black from the curse. Althea could feel herself slipping as she felt her being become extremely light.
She could feel Aladdin's consciousness entering into Alibaba as she found herself standing in front of Aladdin.
"Miss Althea…" he said as he saw her form. Her legs and arms were turning black from the black rukh and her body was showing cracks from before she entered Alibaba and from the stress of everything. "Hey Aladdin. You ready to see Alibaba?" she asked.
Aladdin stared at her before he nodded seriously. Althea smiled warmly at him before she reached out and her hand found a door. She grabbed Aladdin's hand and beamed at him. "Now go to your friend." She said before she opened the door and let the rukh guide magi to Alibaba.
Then Althea felt nothing as she felt her entire being cleansed and the white rukh started to guide her back.
As she allowed her conscious to slip, Althea saw a small figure.
Ithnan.
The two stared at each other as his eyes had the look of defeat with a sense of peace. "I didn't realize you existed." He said, his eyes downcast.
Althea smiled to herself sadly, "I didn't think so either, in the beginning."
Ithnan laughed a bit, "In the beginning?"
Althea shrugged with a slight smile, "There wasn't much I could do anyway. Technically, I shouldn't even exist since those many years ago yet here I am. I saw this world being created and the life was placed here. I thought I was only to welcome them and guide them to liv eon this world. Yet when I died, I continued to rebirth. Right now, I'm used to it." She said.
Ithnan looked at her, "Do you remember?"
Althea stared at him before she placed a hand on his head, giving him passage to leave. "Remembering too much is not always the best thing. Even I'm not sure anymore" She said before everything went dark for her.
When Althea awoke, she lay in Sinbad's bed. Her entire body hurt and her mind was tried. She didn't expect to be this tired but now that she thought about it, it was probably expected. The Eight Generals all went to visit her as she simply reassured them that she was fine. Ja'far gave her an update of everything (although reluctantly as she was still recovering both mentally and physically) but she persisted.
"So…from Zagan's dungeon, we now have a sample of a dark metal vessel from the organization" said Althea as she sipped the tea filled cup, her fingers wrapped around the ceramic cup.
Ja'far nodded, "Yes and also one of the users of such a tool, that princess from the Mustashim Kingdom is presently confided inside the Royal palace." He reported.
Althea lowered her cup down and looked at the coloured liquid, "Is that so?" she said. There was a moment of silence as Althea spoke, "She won't live long, will she?"
Ja'far looked down as Althea took his silence for a yes. "I see…anything else?" she asked, whiling giving Ja'far a smile.
When the Eight Generals finished making sure that Althea was alright, Alibaba sat by her. Althea had already talked with Morgiana as she was over-joyed that Morgiana was up from bed and was healthy. Althea had talked with Aladdin and answered all of his questions before she sent him off to Yamuraiha.
Now it was only Alibaba and Hakuryuu left.
Alibaba clenched his fist and looked at Althea, "Althea Onee-san…." He said hesitantly.
"Yes?" she asked, with a slight smile and leaned against the mountain of pillows. She was dressed in a several white and light blue gowns. Underneath those clothes, were bandages wrapping most of her body.
"I'm sorry…" he said.
Althea stared at him and slammed her hand on his head, earning a loud yelp from the blond. "Ow!"
"Idiot. What are you sorry for?" asked Althea in an irritated tone. She gave a pout to Alibaba as he looked at her confused.
"Eh-but yesterday, you ended up-"
Althea scoffed and pulled Alibaba's cheeks, earning several words of pain. She finally let his cheeks go as the blond held his now red cheeks before Althea spoke. "Idiot. Who do you think you're talking to?" she said.
Alibaba was even more confused before Althea gave him a reassuring smile. "Although this is a weakness of mines and it is probably a bad quality to have, I have come to 'adopt' you, Aladdin, Morgiana, and Hakuryuu. Whether you like it or not, I've grown to see you as my own children." She said.
Alibaba widened his eyes as he had a shy smile on his face. Althea rubbed the top of his head, messing his blond hair before Althea smirked. "It's only natural to take care of the people I care about, after all. "
Alibaba widened his eyes and he lowered his hand, his arm going to his eyes as tears started to fall from his eyes. "Thank you…" muttered Alibaba as Althea enveloped him in her arms, allowing him to cry and let out the emotions that he was keeping in him.
Althea gently ran her fingers on top of Alibaba's head, as the blond had fallen asleep in her lap. She could only smile and remember the past before there was a knock on her door. "Come in" she called out and the door opened.
At the door was Hakuryuu as he held his spear in hand. He saw Alibaba asleep and was hesitant to come in but only stepped in with Althea's hand gestures. Althea smiled at him and pawed her hand, watching Hakuryuu make his way over.
Althea placed a finger to her lips and made a quiet gesture before she patted the empty spot by her bed. The prince of the Kou Empire hesitated before he sat in the opposite chair. Althea pouted at him, causing Hakuryuu to be flustered before Althea chuckled to herself. "It's fine" she said.
Silence soon followed except for the quiet and steady snoring from Alibaba, the fluttering of the curtains, and the sounds of the birds. "What brings you here, Hakuryuu?" asked Althea as she had her eyes closed.
Hakuryuu looked down at himself before looking at the Lady of Sindria, her multi-coloured eyes trained on him. "I'm sorry."
Althea stared at him with a raised eyebrow. There was a tense silence before Althea sighed and placed the fingertips of her free hand on her forehead, giving a dramatic sigh. "First Alibaba and now you, what's with you two?" she chided.
Hakuryuu blushed red before Althea giggled. "I'm kidding. What's bothering you, really?"
Hakuryuu looked at his arm and then at Althea. "When we were at Zagan's dungeon, Judal hurt you so I have to apologize-"
"I'm used to Judal's actions by now, Hakuryuu. Furthermore, it is not as if you ordered Judal to do it. Therefore, I see no reason that you have to apologize." She said.
Hakuryuu stared at her before Althea pressed a hand on Hakuryuu's shoulder. "Don't worry too much, okay? I'm not blaming you nor will I any time soon." She said.
Hakuryuu stared at her and smiled, bowing slightly. "As you wish, Miss Althea"
Althea smiled at him sadly before she ran her hand through Hakuryuu's hair, earning a sigh of content from the prince. This kept up for some time and both Althea and Hakuryuu chatted for a while. It was a nice change of pace to hear the prince of the Kou Empire talk and eventually Hakuryuu spoke,
"Miss Althea…"
"Yes?" she replied.
"I will be departing from Sindria soon…" said Hakuryuu quietly.
Althea stared at him before she smiled, placing a hand on his head. "I know. Take care of yourself, okay?" she asked, "If anything happens, you can always talk to me."
Hakuryuu nodded and allowed himself to cry in the shoulder of Althea; as the Lady of Sindria allowed him to cry.
First it was Alibaba and now it was Hakuryuu.
Geez, they were always going to be children in Althea's eyes.
When Hakuryuu left, Alibaba woke up and he apologized for falling asleep but the look on Althea's face made him stop as she was getting annoyed. The third prince of Balbadd excused himself to look for Morgiana and Aladdin and Althea waved him goodbye.
When she was alone, Althea sighed to herself. Although she had been quick to adopt the four as her own children in her heart, they were already on the path to leaving. Althea closed her multi-coloured eyes and smiled sadly, allowing a small stream of tears fall from her eyes.
Note: Here's a little bonus chapter for you guys. Probably not going to update in a few days but who knows?
When Althea blacked out for the second time, she soon found herself alone in the palace of Sindria. There was absolutely no one around and Althea could feel her skin crawling.
"Sinbad?!" she yelled out as her voice echoed in the vast halls. "Masrur?! Ja'far?! Sharrkan?! Hinahoho?! Drakon?! Pisiti?! Yamuraiha?! Spartos?! Anyone?!" she yelled.
Her voice continue to echo through the hallway and what made Althea even more freaked out was that the echo never completely disappear and overlapped each other.
Her arms went around her body and Althea realized, her swords were gone. She wore a simply white dress with golden bands, that flowed beneath her and top of her chest bare; such as her shoulders, neck, and collar.
Her long raven hair fell over her body and her arms and legs were covered with bangles and jewelry. Other than that, there was nothing much else.
Deciding to go outside, where she didn't feel trapped, Althea begun to make her way out of the empty and large hallways.
Every step she took, her legs felt heavier and heavier. Her back felt bare and it felt like someone or something was watching her.
Deciding to look behind her back, she spun around and widened her eyes.
"Sinbad?!" she yelled in surprise. However, instead of the normal clothes he wore, he was in full Djiin Equip. Althea blinked at him in surprise, "Why are you using Focalor…" her words died in her throat when she saw the look on his face.
Her body went cold as 'Sinbad' walked forward. There was a dark gleam in his eyes as Althea paled and knew what was going on.
"Oh not this again- shit!" she cursed before immediately, running for life.
She heard an amused chuckle and Althea's heart beat against her chest. "Why, why, why…not again!" she cried in the hallway as she knew Focalor was hot on her trail.
A sudden gust of wind, knocking her balance off and sent the Lady of Sindria tripping on her own feet. She let out a yelp and held her arms out so she could brace for impact. The palms of her hand touched the polished stone ground and Althea used the momentum to roll forward; so she could land on her feet and take off.
However, she was too late as she felt Focalor's presence on her back and Althea yelped, the cold ground touching against her back when an arm grabbed hers and flipped her around.
The difference in the temperature touched her skin as Althea arched her back, but that only caused her chest to be pressed into Focalor's chest. Her back stinging as the sudden and harsh movement hit her back.
Althea paled even more as her wrists were grabbed and were placed high above her head. Her legs were spread on the floor and 'Sinbad' was between her legs.
She was trapped.
'Sinbad' smirked devilishly as his eyes gleamed, his face leaning down. "You shouldn't run, you know~" he teased darkly as Althea let out a sudden sound, when 'Sinbad' begun to kiss her bare neck and shoulders.
Althea bit her lip as 'Sinbad' held Althea's wrist with only one hand and the other begun to travel against her body and the thin material of her clothes.
Focalor licked his lips before he kissed Althea roughly as she closed her eyes tight, as she was captured by Focalor and Sinbad and was now trapped underneath their… his body.
Althea gasped as Focalor gripped her thin waist and dug his nails into her, allowing 'Sinbad' to explore even deeper into Althea's mouth.
The smell of a newly incoming storm hit Althea as it radiated off 'Sinbad' and Focalor purred as his nose caught a whiff of vanilla, jasmine, and sandal wood and he inhaled her scent. Althea growled against the kiss and bit Focalor's lips in irritation but she widened her eyes.
'Sinbad' flinched at the action and he lifted his head, licking the small droplets of blood.
Althea kicked at herself. That was a bad move… since she just made him even more interested. Focalor grinned at Althea before she gasped. 'Sinbad' had bitten her lips and was now licking her lips of the red liquid and sucked on it. Althea whimpered as Focalor smashed his lips against hers; bruising it.
Althea begun to struggle herself out but it only made Focalor press his weight against her chest; causing Althea to blush madly.
The lady of Sindria flinched when 'Sinbad' squeezed her raised thigh and his hand ran down her arched back. Focalor grinned and buried his face into her bared neck, his voice filling Althea's ears. "Let's have some fun, shall we?"
Althea widened her eyes and let out a yell as 'Sinbad' bit her neck and begun to suck on it. This was not going to end any time soon as bare skin touched bare skin and sweat appeared on their skin. Moans and groans filled the empty hallways as the atmosphere continued to rise.
'Sinbad' or Focalor, who it really was Althea couldn't make out anymore, spoke into her ear. "Althea-"
Althea gasped and her heart hammered against her chest, when she Sinbad on top of her. His eyebrows were furrowed and he had a slight frown on his lips as Althea panted.
Her eyes looked around and she was in Sinbad's living quarters and in front of her was her version of Sinbad, not the Focalor version. "Good morning, Althea" said Sinbad before he kissed her lips and Althea's face exploded with red. Steam rose from her face as an irritated look appeared in her face.
"What's wrong?" asked Sinbad as Althea turned to her side and had her face buried into her hands.
"I hate it when I meet your Djinn versions of you… especially Focalor! It always ends up in that way!" she hissed behind her hands.
Sinbad looked absolutely confused as a clueless smile appeared on his face and he tilted his head.
"What?"
The Focalor version of Sinbad sat cross legged and smirked to the sky, his hand upwards. He could still smell the scent of vanilla, jasmine, and sandal wood with the scent of Althea on his hands, before he smiled devilishly to himself.
Note: Urgh, thanks to a post on Tumblr and I searched the Magi tag, I immediately saw a post that said somewhere along the lines of "Imagine being Full Djinn Equip and having sex". This is why I hate and love Tumblr. Basically Kisemesis. Ever so slowly, I'm tempted to actually write a fanfiction containing all the possible Mature scenes in this fanfic and posting it… now I'm thinking of Baal, Vaelfor, and Zepar….oh my god, hell is going to ensue.
My fingers hurt...I might take a break from writing a bit...
