Xion liked to think of herself as her own person.
A person with her own, unique heart.
A person with her own, unique face.
A person with her own, unique memories.
A person with her own, unique life.
But she knew none of that was true. Not even the weapon she brandished was her own, and maybe it wasn't even real. Maybe it really was a sham. Maybe it –maybe she –really was worthless.
Even when she tried to lose herself in battle, she couldn't be her own person. Every move she made, every stance she held, every way she swung, she was just copying the boy in her dreams. She couldn't even have a technique to call her own.
But then again, why would she? She was just a sham, herself.
