YAY! We got to 100.
I have edited this chapter.
Dororo poked the fire some more.
The face in his mind that kept popping up was always Kululu.
Kululu. A keronian. He would kill Kululu.
Or would he?
He recalled Kululu's face. A face filled with hatred and pain. Something he knew all too well.
He almost saw a bit of himself in Kululu. Recalling the pain he felt with the loss of Koyuki he might feel exactly how Kululu had felt. The question was, who had Kululu lost?
Was there a chance….A small chance that Dororo might be able to help Kululu? Kululu seemed exactly like him, experiencing the pain of losing someone that they loved.
Was it worthwhile to put Dororo's vow to destroy all keronians away so he could speak to Kululu?
He wanted the pain in his heart to stop. Perhaps if he helped someone just like him, it might lesson.
He managed to find Kululu quite easily again, he had been tracking him for a while. Instead of sneaking up he showed the yellow keronian himself in plain view.
"Kululu…" Dororo was silent.
Kululu immediately covered his left eye. Dororo wondered what he was hiding.
"Hello." Dororo told him. He sat down next to the insane genius.
Kululu seemed unnerved.
"What should I do?" Kululu asked
Dororo was about to answer, until Kululu responded.
"If you really think Dororo's nice I guess I can let him stay." Kululu seemed to be talking to himself. The conversation made him smile just a little bit.
So Kululu is seeing the person he lost and believes they are still there…Dororo realized
He wondered how he should start the conversation.
"So…" He trailed off, "Lady Koyuki died." He decided to start off with his own problem, "I was heartbroken. I vowed to kill all keronians to avenge her. You're one of them so…"
"Don't worry about killing me. I'm half angol." Kululu answered
Dororo was silent. He had seen Kululu use Angol Mois's Lucifer spear and he had suspected that Kululu had seen Angol Mois, but was Angol Mois the person Kululu had lost?
They did work in the lab together all the time they could have hypothetically created some strong bonds in between them. Maybe, there was something going on between them.
So Kululu had lost the woman he loved more than anything too.
"Lady Koyuki's always within me too." Dororo told him.
Kululu looked at him, it was a way Kululu had never looked at him before, one as if he understood.
Understanding sparked between them and they sat in silence.
"Mois apologizes for Koyuki's death." Kululu finally told him silently.
"Tell her, thanks and that she's nice to say that." Dororo answered. Kululu nodded and stared at his personal fire.
They scotched closer together and sat together in silence most of the night, just understanding each other unlike any keronian ever could.
Their silent friendship was just like the flame, small, tiny and dangerous.
One night that flame lasted.
When the morning came, Dororo awoke, having fallen asleep next to Kululu.
They looked at each other in silence.
"I'm going to leave now. I have to find Keroro and kill him." Dororo admitted
"Good. He deserves death." Kululu responded
"What are you going to do?" Dororo asked
"Destroy pekopon. That's what Mois wants." Kululu answered. Dororo's face paled. This was Koyuki's planet and he wasn't letting Kululu destroy it.
"I'm sorry. I know you were….my friend, but if you decide to destroy pekopon I will have to murder you." Dororo told him.
"Try it ninja boy. Let's see if your love for Koyuki can withstand mine and Mois's bond." Kululu took out his Lucifer spear.
Jumping forward to attack, Kululu tackled him. Hitting the ground next to Dororo a hole was made.
Dororo rolled away from it not wanting to be sucked up.
"I thought we were the same, but our interests are just too different." Dororo answered
"The same? We're not the same at all!" Kululu responded, "Your girlfriend's dead. Ku, ku, ku. Funny." Kululu paused as he imagined a voice answering him, "Sorry, Mois. I guess dead girlfriend's aren't funny. Lucky thing you're alive."
Kululu dodged another shot.
"You can't beat me. I have someone looking out for me." Kululu stroked the left side of his face, he hit again with his Lucifer spear. "ARMAGGEDON! 1/10000000000! Pekopon will be destroyed! For Mois!"
"Pekopon will be saved! For Lady Koyuki!" Dororo used his sword to block and it seemed as if the Lucifer spear and the ninja sword clashed together.
"Koyuki's dead." Kululu reminded
"Angol Mois's dead." Dororo pointed out.
"She's right there. Can't you see her?" Kululu jumped back and pointed to a space on the ground, "Don't worry. I'll kill him quickly."
"Kululu! Please stop this delusion. She's dead. Keronians probably killed her. Maybe you could join me and we'll kill all of them together." Dororo still felt a little bad for the genius.
"Mois…." Kululu hit him again, "Never," He managed to get Dororo on the ground with his explosive powers, "Died." He took Dororo's very own sword out of his hands. "Unlike you." Using the sword and the power of his Lucifer spear above him, he cut off Dororo's left arm to hinder him in battle.
Dororo froze.
Memories washed through him as he remembered another left arm which had been cut off.
"Koyuki?" He asked looking at the stump where his arm used to be. Blood poured out of it. He tried to move it but it was gone. "Are you there?" He asked, maybe, now that they were the same, she would come back. "This is karma isn't it? For letting you get hurt." Dororo put his hand over his eyes.
Tears streamed down his face.
"Koyuki! I'm sorry!"
Let's leave him alone, he's obviously hurt. It will be harder for him to follow us with a missing arm. Angol Mois told Kululu. Did she feel friendly towards Dororo? Or was she wanting to spare him so Kululu didn't have to kill him? Kululu didn't know, but it was sweet of her anyway.
"Fine, we'll leave." Kululu nodded, took his Lucifer spear and flew off. Dororo wondering where Koyuki was reminded him of someone way too much.
"Koyuki…You're within me aren't you? You made this happen. It's karma isn't it…." Dororo was silent, "Do you hate me?" He just lay on the ground looking up at the sky, "I'll live with this injury for you, Lady Koyuki…I miss my arm…But it's yours now…" Dororo just started laughing.
Koyuki had taken notice of him. She was there, watching him.
Because of her hate.
So...Dororo ALMOST got better. Not so much now.
Don't get used to seeing Kululu. He won't be back for awhile.
