'I promise you, brother, the sun will shine on us again.'
-Loki, Infinity War 2018

(I'm not crying, you are T^T)

Lisanna was the youngest.

The Strauss' was a loving, kind and bonding family, and Lisanna was the youngest child of three. Mirajane was the oldest, and Elfman the second. Both cares for her so much that sometimes Lisanna gets spoiled too much.

She was always taught to be kind and loving, just like her family.

But maybe she was just too spoiled, that everything went to chaos.

And Lisanna was eternally, whole heartedly grateful for her caring friends and family, for without them, she wouldn't be going through the right path again.

Then Lucy. . .

Lisanna hoped she can put everything behind and just look straight towards the future. She did a lot of awful and horrible things.

There was a knock on the door.

She hoped everything could be fine.

It was Lucy and her friends.

When Lucy walked into the room, Lisanna greeted her with a smile. She didn't know what their relationship was now. They had hugged and made up. Did that make them friends now, she wondered.

Lucy gave a sincere smile back.

This may just be a start for them but she believed they would be great friends. Because no matter what happens, Lisanna will try her best to be on good terms with Lucy. No matter what. She screwed things up before, she will not repeat it, she swore to herself.

Natsu would be elated if he sees it. Natsu would be happy. And Lisanna hoped, that he will forgive her.

Lucy approached her.

"How is he?"

Lisanna smiled sadly as she saw from the corner of her eyes Grandine talking to Lucy's friends. "He's stable but no one knows when he'll wake up." She glanced at the sleeping form on the bed then looked away, meeting Lucy's brown eyes.

Lucy smiled at her then at Natsu. "He'll wake up."

Lisanna did the same. "I know."

They spent the evening chatting, waiting in their hearts for the pink haired teen to wake from his slumber.

Two months later . . .

"Lucy!"

"I'm coming! Hold on!"

"I swear Lucy if you make us late-"

"You mean make you late, I don't care about being late."

"Shut up, Cana."

Lucy jumped down the steps to the ground floor of her house to meet the sight of her two best friends. She gave Cana a high five with a smirk. "I'm on Cana's side here."

Levy growled, attempting to be threatening, but with her petite form and cute face, it seemed nothing like terrifying. "We have a freaking test on the first period.

Cana shrugged. "Whatever. You guys are gonna ace it anyway."

Levy let go of her threatening pose to raise a questioning eyebrow. "And the demerits?"

"So?"

"Two demerits for being late?"

Lucy tried to contain a laugh. "Remind you of something, Cana?"

Cana furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What the hell are you guys talking about?"

Levy smiled sarcastically. "It's the remaining number for you not to get another detention."

It hit Cana. "Oh yeah . . . I had twenty-eight demerits already . . . That means . . ."

Lucy laughed. "Detention is coming for you again, Cana."

Cana groaned in frustration and sprinted to the door. "WHAT THE HECK GUYS WE NEED TO GO!" And she went out the house.

"NO SWEARING!" The voice of Layla Heartfilia could be heard from the kitchen.

"Sorry, mom, I'm gonna go now!"

Then it was Jude's voice. "Be careful, darling. You both too, Levy and Cana!"

"Well, Cana's already out now." Levy whispered in annoyance as she went to the door.

"C'mon, Levy, you know how Cana is."

"I swear if she gets to school on time and we don't, I'm going to strangle her."

Lucy giggled as she put on her shoes and went out the door with Levy to be greeted by fresh morning air. The wind was sweeping softly through their hair and clothes. Lucy and Levy stepped down the stone path to the pavement and began their journey to the school.

As Lucy looked back back to her house, a memory flashed through her head and heart.

A memory of when a certain pink-haired boy arrived to that very same porch to pick her up in a bright red motorcycle.

And a memory of when she began to open her heart.

Lucy came to school in a pretty calm and normal mood. She had Levy and a gasping-for-breath Cana next to her. They were together and that was all she needed right now. Everyone around her has taught her to live days with a smile and never let anything negative get to you. You have to love yourself and trust the ones you love.

A special someone was like that too, and Lucy wanted to be like him. He was the greatest gift to ever be given to her. She would do anything to have him back. But Lucy knew she had to be patient.

Oh, how long the time she needed to wait, she would patiently wait.

When Lucy saw a short white-haired girl, her smile widened. When she saw how hurried and agitated she looked, she frowned. Lucy worriedly called, "Lisanna!"

Lisanna turned her head towards Lucy snappishly. Her eyes grew big in relief. "Lucy!" She ran towards Lucy as quickly as she could. Once Lisanna reached her, she took deep hurried breaths.

Lucy smiled softly. "Slow down, Lisanna, what's wrong?"

Lisanna grabbed Lucy's shoulders once she regained her composure, startling Lucy. Then she stared at her straight in her eyes with happiness.

"Natsu!" Lisanna eagerly exclaimed.

Lucy gaped. What's wrong with Natsu?

"Natsu is awake!"

And the world, in Lucy's opinion, couldn't be brighter than it already was.

I'm really struggling to finish this story right now but I'll try my best to keep continuing. The end is not long, people! ;)

And don't mind me putting that quote up there. Infinity war broke me so bad. It is a masterpiece that shattered my heart to a million pieces.

Luckily Deadpool 2 was a movie that made me laugh so hard I forgot about Infinity War for a few hours HAHAHA.

Totally recommend Deadpool 2, especially for MCU movies fans like me. Oh and Infinity War, again, is a MASTERPIECE.

Thank you so much for reading this fic up till now 3
