Callen drove his car through LA until they reached their destination. Sara watched as Callen drove. She was wondering where they were going. They were in Venice now. Callen pulled into a parking lot and parked the car.

"Where are we going?" Sara asked confused.

"It's right around the corner."

Callen and Sara got out of the car. Callen held his arm out and Sara locked her arm in his. They walked a little before Callen stopped in front of a small restaurant. "This is where we're eating?" Sara asked as they stopped. She looked up and saw "Casablanca" on the sign.

"Yes, I hope that's alright."

"Of course it is. You know this is my favorite Mexican restaurant."

"Yes I do, that's why I picked this."

"Thank you honey."

Sara gave Callen a quick kiss before they walked inside.

"Buenos tardes," a friendly waitress greeted them. "Did you have a reservation?"

"Yes, Gonzalez," Callen told her.

The waitress looked in the book. "Ah yes of course, follow me please."

Callen and Sara followed the waitress to their table. They had a booth. The tables were decorated with a white table cloth with red hearts on it, a small vase with red roses in it and some candles.

"Would you like something to drink?" The waitress asked after Callen and Sara had sat down.

"Could we get a bottle of red wine?" Callen asked.

"Of course. We have Cabernet Sauvignon or Tempranillo."

"Tempranillo please and some water please."

"Alright, coming right up."

The waitress returned shortly with the menu cards. Callen and Sara looked them over, to see what they would order.

Just after Tess arrived Marisa and Zac left too. Marisa was wearing a short strapless cocktail dress. The top of the dress was red with glitter and it flowed over into the bottom which was white and flowing. She wore skin colored panty hose underneath it with red heels and a red sarong for over her shoulder. Zac was wearing a pair of dress jeans with a red and white checkered shirt.

"Have fun you guys," Tess told them as they were getting ready to leave.

"Thank you, and thank you for watching Nick as well," Marisa replied.

"No problem. He seems like a sweet kid."

"Hannah, can mommy get a kiss?" Hannah walked up to Marisa and gave her a kiss. "Be a good girl for Tess."

"Can daddy get a kiss too?" Zac asked.

Hannah walked over to Zac and gave him a kiss too.

"Nick, can Mari get a kiss from you too?"

Nick walked over to his big sister and gave her a kiss too and Zac got one too.

"Just put them to bed in about half an hour. Hannah can sleep in her own room and in the spare room there's a travel bed for Nick."

"Don't worry, I've got it covered."

"Okay good. My parents will come and pick Nick up, I don't know if we're home already then."

"That's fine. Have fun you too."

"Thanks. Bye Hannah, bye Nick."

Nick and Hannah stood in front of the window and waved as Zac and Marisa left.

"Can you tell me now where we're going?" Marisa asked.

"Nope, you'll just have to wait until we're there."

Zac slipped the cab driver a piece of paper with the address on it. A valet came to open the cab door as the cab pulled up alongside the curb. As they got out of the car Marisa saw where they were going to eat.

"We're going to eat at Craft?!" Marisa asked astonished.

"Yes, I hope that's alright with you."

"This is one of the most expensive restaurants in LA!" Marisa exclaimed.

"I know, I've had some business lunches here several times."

"Isn't this a little much?"

"For you, nothing is too much," Zac told Marisa with a smile.

"Thank you honey."

Marisa gave Zac a kiss before they walked inside. The place looked really beautiful.

"Good evening, can I have your name please?" A friendly hostess asked as they walked in.

"Zac Jenkins."

The hostess checked the system. "Yes of course. Brenda will show you to your table." She extended her arm towards Brenda.

"Right this way please," Brenda spoke to them.

Zac and Marisa followed Brenda to their table. The restaurant was beautiful. It was decorated with red drapes and on the tables stood a small vase with red roses and tulips and some candles. Zac sat Marisa down first before he sat down himself. A waiter came to their table as Brenda left.

"Good evening, my name is Kevin and I'll be your waiter this evening." He gave Zac and Marisa a menu. "Today we have a special Valentine's day menu. You can order from that menu but it's also possible to order from the regular menu. Both of them are in the folder."

"Alright thank you," Zac replied.

"Would you like something to drink?"

"Could we have a bottle of champagne?"

"Of course, we have Prosecco, Schramsberg or two of our house champagnes."

"We'll take the Prosecco."

"Alright, I'll be back later to take your order."

A little later he returned with the bottle of champagne and the cooler. He popped the cork and poured a glass for Zac and Marisa and placed the champagne bottle into the cooler.

"Here's to us and our wonderful family," Zac spoke and they toasted. "I'm really happy to have you and Hannah."

"Me too honey. I'm so glad that we were allowed to adopt Hannah."

"Yeah me too. She's so cute and she's such a sweet little girl. The circumstances were sad but I'm glad she's in our lives."

"Yeah me too. She's our little gift."

"Yes she is."

A little later Kevin came back and took their order. They decided to order from the Valentine's day menu. As starter they ordered red beet gazpacho to share, as main course Marisa ordered Texas Quail and Zac ordered rack of lamb, as dessert they ordered a dark chocolate budino to share.

….

The waitress came back to their table.

"Are you ready to order?"

"Yes," Sara answered. "I would like the shrimp cocktail."

"Yes, and as main course?"

"The chicken criollo please."

"Yes, and for you sir?"

"I would like the quesadillas," Callen answered

"With beef or chicken?"

"Beef please."

"With cheese?"

"Yes please."

"Okay, and as main course?"

"I would like the fish tacos."

"Would you like soup or salad with that?"

"Salad please."

"Alright, thank you."

The waitress took their menus and left.

"This is nice G, thank you for making a reservation here."

"You're welcome honey. I know you love this place."

About fifteen minutes later the waitress came back with their appetizers.

"Enjoy your meal."

The food was really delicious. Callen and Sara fed each other a piece of their dish. Callen felt really lucky to have this beautiful woman in his life again. He had been so stupid not to try harder to find her after their case had ended. He should have tried harder, then maybe he wouldn't have missed so much time with his daughter and with Sara. Ever since Sara there hadn't been any other woman who even came close to her. Callen realized several years later that she had been his one. He was so thankful that he got another chance with her and they had the cutest little boy, a beautiful grown up daughter and a cute new little (adopted) grandchild. Callen didn't care that Hannah was adopted. He loved her like she was his 'real' grandchild.

….

A little later the waiter returned with their appetizer. It was a shared dish. They got a plate with the dish on it and two small plates.

"Mmmmm, this is really good," Marisa stated.

"Yeah I know right. I've never had dinner here but the lunch was always amazing."

"Yeah I bet, dinner is really delicious."

"It's nice to have a little time to ourselves. We haven't really gotten that since we adopted Hannah."

"Yeah I know. She's a little handful."

"Yeah, but a very sweet and cute handful."

"Definitely. She really is a sweet and cute little girl. I'm really glad to have her."

"Me too. But it's nice to have a little you and me time."

"Yes it is. Good thing we have Tess. She's really good with Hannah."

"Oh yes, Hetty gave us a very good babysitter."

"Yes she did."

As they were waiting on dessert Zac pulled out a present.

"Happy Valentine's day honey," Zac spoke.

"You got me a present too? I thought this dinner was my present."

"Just one part of your present."

"You spoil me."

"Only because I love you."

Marisa gave him a smile. "I love you too honey."

"Good ahead Mari, open it."

It was a beautiful diamond silver necklace. The hanger was in the shape of a heart with three blue diamond butterflies in it.

"Oh my Zac, this is beautiful. Thank you."

"You like it?"

"I love it, thank you." Marisa leaned over the table and gave Zac a kiss. Marisa put the necklace back into the box so it wouldn't get damaged.

"I got you a present too, well multiple presents. This one is sorta for Hannah. Happy Valentine's day Zac."

Marisa handed Zac the present and Zac opened it. It was a pink body suit with the text in different colors: I have the best dad in the whole world.

"Aww thanks Mari, I'm sure Hannah will look great in this."

"Yeah she will. I've got you another present."

Marisa handed Zac another present and he opened it. It was some sort of book. On the cover stood Daddy is my hero. Zac opened the book and inside where pictures of Zac together with Hannah.

"This is really nice. She's so cute. I love my little princess."

"Yes I can see that. This is my favorite picture of you two," Marisa spoke and pointed to a picture.

"Oh yes, that one if very nice. Thank you for this Mari. I love this."

"You're welcome honey."

…..

As they were waiting for their dessert Callen pulled out a present and placed it in front of Sara on the table.

"Happy valentine's day Sara."

"Thank you G, but you didn't have to get me a present. You got me this dinner already."

"I know, but I wanted to. Go ahead, open it."

Sara opened the present. It were a Mexican beaded necklace, the necklace was green with a red rose in the middle, and in the same style a bracelet.

"Thanks G. These are beautiful. I actually had something like this when I was a kid, my grandma used to make them."

"Yes I know. I same them on an old picture of you."

"You did?" Sara asked with a smile.

"Yes I did, so I had this custom made for you."

"Thank you G, that really means a lot to me."

Sara leaned over to give Callen a kiss. Carefully Sara placed the jewelry back in the box since she was wearing different jewelry already.

"I got you a present too," Sara said and placed a present on the table. "Happy Valentine's day Gabi."

Callen took the present and opened it.

"This is just a small one, the big one is at home. It was a little bit too big to take with me," Sara stated as Callen opened the present.

Callen looked at the present. It was a picture frame. In the frame was a drawn picture of him, Sara, Nick, Marisa, Zac and Hannah. It was the picture they had taken together on Hannah's birthday, their first full family picture.

"This is beautiful honey. Where did you get this?"

"A friend of mine, she's an artist so I asked her to draw this picture. She's really good and don't worry, she knows I'm a federal agent so it's all good."

"Good. It's really beautiful Sara. So you have this one in big?"

"Yes, it's a home. We can put it up somewhere at home."

"That would be very nice."

"And this one you can take with you to the office, if you want."

"That's nice. I will put it on my desk. Did you get one of these for Marisa and Zac too? I think they would love it too."

"Yes I have one for them too."

Shortly after they exchanged presents their desserts arrived. Callen had piña colada fudge and Sara had chocolate cake.

Everything had been really delicious. Callen paid for everything before they left the restaurant. Callen hadn't drank much wine so he was still capable in driving home. Before going home they dropped by Zac and Marisa's place to pick up Nick.

Tess opened the door once there was a knock. She saw Nick's parents standing there.

"Hey guys, did you have a nice evening?"

"Oh yes it was just perfect," Callen replied.

"How did Nick do?" Sara wanted to know.

"He's a very sweet boy. He and Hannah stayed up for a little bit before going to sleep. They were both asleep within minutes and Nick only woke up once with a dirty diaper.

"That's good."

"I'll just go up to get him and then we'll be on our way," Callen said.

Callen went upstairs to get Nick while Sara got Nick's stuff.

"Thank you for watching him," Sara told Tess after Callen had walked out with a sleeping Nick in his arms.

"No problem. He's a sweet boy."

Once everything was in the car Callen drove them home. Nick stirred a bit when Sara picked him up again. Sara rocked him back to sleep as she walked to his room. She gave him a soft kiss on his head before putting Nick into his crib.

Sara walked back into the living room.

"G, I'm just gonna get a hot bubble bath, care to join me?"

Callen didn't have to be told twice. "Of course."

Callen already locked up before he followed Sara into the bathroom. Sara was just getting into the bath. She sat up so that Callen could slide in behind her. Once Callen was seating Sara let herself fall back against his chest and Callen wrapped his arms around her.

"I love you Sara," Callen whispered into Sara's ear.

"And I love you Gabi."

Sara turned her head back so she could give Callen a kiss. They sat there in the tub for a while before Callen started kissing Sara's neck.

"Hmmmm G," Sara moaned.

Callen continued kissing her neck as his hand went into the water in between Sara's legs. Sara jolted when she felt Callen's hand where she wanted it. Too soon for her liking Sara reached her high point already. She turned around so she sat on Callen's lap. She kissed Callen deeply as she moved down on him. Doing it in the water was just so good. Once they had finished they got out and dried themselves off. Before Sara had a chance to get dressed. Callen picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.

"G," Sara giggled as Callen walked to the bedroom.

Callen placed Sara down on the bed and they continued making loving for a few hours before falling asleep in each other's arms.

….

Their dessert arrived. It was a shared dish. It was so delicious. Once they were finished Zac paid the bill. The hostess called them a cab.

"Venice beach," Zac told the cab driver once they got in.

"We're not going home yet?" Marisa asked surprised.

"Nope, the evening is not over yet."

Once they were at the beach Zac paid the cab driver before they got out. Zac took Marisa's hand and pulled her towards the beach.

"Just a second Zac," Marisa spoke before they walked onto the sand.

Marisa took her shoes off before they walked onto the sand. The view was beautiful by the moonlight. A littler further in the distance Marisa saw a bit of light on the sand.

"What's that?" Marisa asked surprised.

"Part two of our evening."

They walked closer. Marisa saw some small lanterns in the sand and a blanket on the ground with a basket next to it. As they got closer Marisa felt someone watching them.
