"Hello, Ms Pike." Juliet greeted Sun politely when she finally arrived.

Surprisingly, they did manage to get there on time though Juliet couldn't understand how. The only thing that made sense was that time was different here but it was too unreal to be true, right?!

"Dr. Shephard. Thank you for coming." Sun let her in while Jin watched closely just to the side of her. "is it okay for Jin to join us?"

"Considering he's the father of course it is." Juliet smiled at them warmly.

Honestly, she couldn't imagine one Kwon without the other and she was so happy to see them being together at last. Of course Juliet had already met them in the hospital. She was even going to be the one telling them good news but it was only now when it really hit her. Because then they were not friends but just patients, one of many.

"I'm sorry for leaving the hospital before receiving the results." Sun started politely.

The awkwardness was palpable. Juliet guessed it was not only because of the doubts about her but also because of the sensation that such formalities had no sense in this world, the same as her keep working.

"Not a problem. Your results are fine. You don't need to stay in the hospital. However the reason you got there in the first place is a completely different matter."

She could sense that the Kwons were feeling even tenser at this point. But she had to go through with it like they had agreed with James.

"I was asked about your address by a police officer that claimed to visit you in the hospital. I invited him to join us here. Considered, it'd be better for me to monitor you during that talk."

They were very subtle about that but she could see the glances they exchanged and the relief.

"We already told the officer that we didn't want the investigation. What matters is that she is alright and with me and we don't want to waste any more time." Jin answered.

"And you aren't afraid of those criminals?" Juliet asked with surprise. It wasn't the best thing to say and she knew the feeling of not belonging here anymore and thus not caring too much about things but still.

"It's all over and we'd prefer to move on as soon as possible." Sun said matter-of-factly.

"As you wish. Then I guess you just need to say that to the officer and we'll let you to yourself. He should be here at any minute."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. However this time it was Jin who went to open it leaving Sun with Juliet. They could hear the men talking quietly outside of the room.

"Maybe you have any questions?" Juliet suggested not knowing what else to say.

"No, I think I know what will come." Sun answered immediately.

"Hello, Ms. Pike. I take it, you don't want any investigation?" James announced entering the room.

Juliet smiled inwardly. It was so like him to avoid any formalities and went straight to the reason of his visit.

"You're right. All we want is to leave the incident in the past and move on." Sun said carefully choosing the words or at least that was how Juliet felt about her wording.

"I'm not sure it's that easy but if that's what you want." James answered in the same double meaning manner.

"As if you don't want to move on." Jin muttered to himself surprising Juliet. She expected James to be the one cracking and admitting the truth not the quiet Korean man.

"What?" Jin looked at them. "We could dance around each other the whole evening. But why waste time when it's so obvious that they remember. And after our meeting in the hospital he knew that we got our memories back too."

For a whole minute there was silence and then James laughed and hugged Jin.

"You still don't get the whole beauty of jokes, Jinbo."

"And you still need to work on your poker face. You are too happy now for me to believe you don't remember Juliet." Jin spat back with a huge smile.

"Well, now that all cats are out of the bag, I'm so happy to see you two together." Juliet said mostly to Sun because Jin was too deep in conversation with James.

"I don't understand how or why. All I know that I got second chance to have family with Jin and I can't be more grateful for that." Sun whispered quietly.

"I know the feeling" Juliet nodded. "And I don't let anything take him away from me again."

She glanced at James lovingly and as always as if using some sixth sense he looked back at her with tenderness before turning back to Jin and their discussion.
