Dear Readers,
I'm here to apologize for not giving a more fortunate ending for my pairing. But the truth of my intention was to never let them see each other again. I had found it futile to further the story if in reality I had already known the ending.
To be more precise, and since I owe it to people like you who patiently read my stories (yes there will be an epilogue or rather a second book) I will explain the experience.
Most of this was told by the side of Misako in the first part because they were together. They were physically at each other's side, symbolizing Kyoya's rather slow and lack of appreciation for Misako's presence. Only when she leaves does Kyoya's point-of-view strengthen.
Meaning he only loved her when he let her go.
Such chance encounters of our pasts are like this. A regret. The one that got away. The one that was never ours.
We move on, just like Kyoya and Misako.
But still think about our past.
To finish this letter I end you with a quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby."
"And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
Author.
