Okay, so I was looking through some old folders of mine, and I found the last two chapters of this fanfiction, finished (the chapter after this is the last)
So, tonight is this chapter, and I will upload the final chapter tonight as well!
I want to thank those of you who have been patient enough to actually wait for the last two chapters of this; you are awesome!
Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater, I only own my abundant characters.
29: Tomorrow Comes Today
Three months later
I crossed my arms over my belly as I glared at Ryan. "Why didn't you tell me that you asked Liz out?" I asked. Ryan shrugged. "Didn't cross my mind." He said simply. "You guys have been dating for three months! It should have crossed your mind because you're dating one of my best friends!" I said, glaring daggers at Ryan. "Alissa, I'm sorry, I should have told you earlier." Liz said. I sighed. "Its fine, I just wish that I knew from the beginning." I said, sitting on the couch. I felt a sharp pain and felt myself visibly wince. "Are you alright?" Ryan quickly asked. "I…I don't know." I said. I felt another pain and Liz called Kid into the room. "Alissa, are you okay?" He asked. I looked at Kid. "I think that my water just broke."
-3rd Person POV-
Alice opened her eyes to see Soul sleeping in front of her. She felt snug, being wrapped in his arms, and she felt happy just being with him. It was about six years ago when she had met Soul and Maka; and they made her feel safe, protected and…loved. More than she had gotten since her family was killed, and she was glad for that. Alice leaned forward, gently touching Soul's bare chest with her forehead and leaving it here. She looked at his scar and was reminded of her own scars, that she was ashamed of, until she met Soul.
The moment that Alice was having was cut off when her cell phone started loudly ringing and Soul groaned as Alice wiggled out of his arms to find her phone. She cursed to herself as she searched the floor. "What time is it?" Soul asked with a yawn. Alice triumphantly held her phone up and answered it. "Hello? Oh hey Liz, what's up?" Alice asked. Soul sat up and rubbed his eyes as he watched Alice talking on the phone.
"What? Just twenty minutes ago? Okay, we'll head over there now. See you there." Alice said. She closed her phone and started to hurriedly gather her clothes. "What's up?" Soul asked. "Alissa's in labor. They want us to meet them at their house." Alice said, throwing some clothes at Soul. "Oh wow." Soul said, starting to pull his clothes on. "I take it you want us to take the motorcycle?" Soul asked. Alice smiled at him. "Is there any faster way?" She asked sweetly. Soul laughed as he stood, tugging on a pair of jeans. "I don't think so."
The two rushed out of their room into the living room and quickly tugged their sweaters on. "What's with the rush?" Connor asked. "Didn't you guys get the call? Alissa's in labor." Alice said quickly. Connor and Maka exchanged glances and Soul grabbed his keys. "Let's go Alice." He said as they ran out of the apartment. "Did you know that she was pregnant?" Connor asked. "Yeah, I thought that she was due next month."
"GRAHHH!" Alissa shouted, sweat on her forehead. The dresser floated into the air and Ryan ran over to it, trying to get it back down. "Alissa, please try to control your telepathy right now, or your brother is going to get crushed by our dresser." Kid said, holding onto Alissa's hand. Alissa grunted and the dresser landed. Liz dabbed at Alissa's forehead, wiping the sweat away. "Alissa, I can see the head. Push!" Mira commanded. Alissa let out a loud, long groan as she did so and she squeezed Kids' hand tighter.
"ASDFKLH $$#ASDFKL!"
Alice and Soul stopped outside of Kid and Alissa's bedroom. Liz groaned as she slumped against the wall, wiping her forehead. "At least she's conscious this time?" Alice offered. Liz chuckled. "Yeah. Who knew she could have the mouth of a sailor?" She said with a grin. Alice and Soul laughed before Liz's face turned serious. "I think that she might want you in there with her Alice." She said.
Alice nodded and opened the door. When she did, a pillow flew towards her and she ducked, it hitting Soul in the face instead. She giggled before running inside of the room and closing the door.
"Ow…" Soul mumbled, removing the pillow from his face. He sat down on the floor beside Liz, who slid onto the floor and joined him.
"How long has she been at it?" Soul asked. "Eh…about a couple of hours so far." Liz said. Soul whistled. "Man. The day Alice goes through this, I'm gonna need therapy." Soul said, leaning his head against the wall.
Liz giggled. "I doubt it'll be the same for her. It won't be as intense as a Shinigami birth." She said, smiling. "Thank god." Soul said dramatically, a smile on his face. He lifted his head off of the wall and looked at Liz, a soft smile on his face.
"Still. I…I'm kind of looking forward to when Alice and I start our own family."
The door to Alissa and Kids' room opened and Alice walked out, exhausted. Soul and Liz stood. "So what's up?" Liz asked. Alice smiled. "It's a boy." She said. Soul put his arm around Alice. "You want to go home?" He asked. Alice wordlessly nodded and Soul chuckled. "Alright, let's go.
-Alissa's POV-
I felt exhausted. Then again, I did just give birth, so it's only reasonable. I looked at Kid sitting next to me, holding our son. I smiled and leaned my head on Kid's shoulder, looking at our sleeping child.
"What are we gonna name him?" Kid asked. I closed my eyes. "Viktor." I said softly.
Kid looked at the baby, who looked back at him with brown eyes. On top of his head was a mess of short black hair. "Alright. Viktor it is."
Kid kissed my head and brushed a hand over Viktor's soft hair. "You know…he has your nose." Kid said. "Really? Well…I think that he might have your lips." I said, smiling. Kid smiled back at me, before Mitsuki crawled over towards us, wiggling in between us. She looked at Viktor with wide eyes and them back at me. "Who dis?" she asked. I smiled at her. "Mitsuki, that's your baby brother."
A grin spread on Mitsuki's face and she peeked at Viktor again. "Brudder!" she squeaked happily. I looked at Kid, who had a faint smile on his face. He looked at me and kissed my forehead.
"This is our family." I whispered. "Yeah." Kid said in agreement. "I'm glad that I moved here when I did." I said softly. Kid smiled. "I'm glad too."
