The morning after, Brogan woke up, her cheek resting against Adam's chest. She blinked a couple of times, adjusting to the light, and she scrunched her face up. She slowly moved up her head up, seeing that Adam was still asleep. She smiled to herself, and she snuggled into him more. She sighed contently, and she thought of last night; making her smile more. All of a sudden, his arms were tightening around her waist, and then she felt him kiss the top of her head softly.
"Mornin'." He mumbled tiredly.
Brogan smiled,
"Mornin'." She replied quietly.
Adam brushed Brogan's fringe away from her face,
"Sleep well?"
She nodded,
"Yeah, did you?"
"I slept great." He replied.
Brogan looked up at him, and the two shared a smile.
Adam stroked the bottom of Brogan's back gently,
"You excited for our date tonight?"
She nodded,
"Very."
"I enjoy your talkativeness on a mornin'." Adam quipped sarcastically.
Brogan rolled her eyes playfully, smiling at him, and she nudged her foot gently against his.
Adam chuckled quietly, and then he sighed with contentment, before he leaned down, pecking Brogan's lips gently.
"Didn't we leave Kirsty and Tom at the club?" Brogan asked.
Adam nodded, running a hand through his hair,
"Yeah, they din't wanna leave."
"Ah okay." Brogan let out a laugh.
"Don't worry. Tom will of gotten Kirsty home." Adam reassured her.
Brogan nodded,
"Of course."

"So how are the lovebirds this morning?" Tom asked, as the four of them sat in the café an hour later.
Adam smiled, wrapping his free hand around Brogan's waist,
"We're great. And how are the other lovebirds?" He smirked.
Kirsty let out a nervous laugh,
"We're alright."
Brogan winked at Kirsty, who just let out a quiet laugh to her.
"What time did ya get in then?" Adam asked, before taking a sip of his orange juice.
"Uh…" Tom looked at Kirsty. "Around 2ish?"
Kirsty nodded,
"Yeah, around that time."
"Not too bad then." Brogan commented.

"What picture?" Brogan asked quietly.
Adam smirked at her, giving her a wink, keeping his mouth shut.
"One of these days, I swear." Brogan mumbled.
He tipped his head back and laughed at her reply.
Two teenage girls made their way over to the table, causing the four of them to look their way.
"Hi! Oh my god, we are huge fans of you in Happy Valley!" One of the girls fangirled.
Adam smiled,
"Hiya, thanks so much."
"We was just wondering if we could take a picture with you please?"
Brogan smiled to herself, and both Kirsty and Tom glanced at her, to see her reaction.
"Yeah sure." Adam replied, standing up.
Brogan opened her mouth to speak, but Tom cut her off,
"I'll take it for ya." He offered, standing up also.
"Thanks!" The first girl replied.
After the photos were taken, Tom gave the girls their phones back, and he sat back down.
"Just because you're his girlfriend, doesn't instantly make ya the photographer for all his fans." Tom said quietly, so the girls couldn't overhear him.
Adam heard, but he pretended not to, as he spoke to the girls.
Brogan smiled and rolled her eyes playfully,
"I really don't mind." She replied truthfully. "I used to be one of those girls."
Kirsty smiled at Brogan.
"Yeah, but doesn't mean you 'ave to take one, alright?" Tom told her.
She nodded,
"I know."
"Is it weird for you when this happens?" Kirsty asked.
Brogan smiled,
"Nah. It makes me proud that my boyfriend is getting the attention he deserves."
Adam smiled to himself, trying to cover it up with a cough, and then he said goodbye to the girls and sat down again. Brogan smiled at him, and before she could speak, he cupped her face and kissed her lips passionately once.
Brogan was taken back by his actions,
"Wh-wha' was that for?" She asked.
Adam grinned at her, brushing her hair from her face,
"I 'eard wha' y' said. About bein' proud."
Brogan smiled,
"Well, ah meant it."
"An' he's right, y'know? Jus' cause you're me girlfriend, an' you're wi' me sometimes when this happens, dun't mean that you have to take pictures."
Tom flashed a triumphant smile,
"See?" He said smugly.
Brogan rolled her eyes at Tom,
"Shush, you."
Tom and Kirsty laughed, causing Brogan to shake her head at the two of them.
"Brogan? Are you still wearing that dress for tonight?" Kirsty asked.
She bit her lip,
"I dunno…" She trailed off.
"Still unconvinced?" Kirsty laughed.
Brogan nodded and she laughed.
"If it's okay with the guys, shall we go shopping for an hour or so?"
Adam nodded,
"S'alright wi' me."
"Yeah, me too." Tom smiled.

"Y'know what? Screw it. I'm wearing the dress I brought." Brogan announced, collapsing onto her bed.
Kirsty laughed, and she sat on the bed,
"I think that's a good idea."
"Mmm." Brogan giggled.
"Are you excited?"
Brogan grinned,
"So excited."

He wore a white, long-sleeved buttoned down shirt, black trousers and dress shoes. He felt nervous, as he walked out of Tom and Kirsty's hotel room. Adam and Brogan had decided not to let them see each other until they left for the date. Just for fun. He knocked on his and Brogan's hotel room door, and he waited anxiously.
Kirsty opened the door a few seconds later, and she smiled at him,
"Hiya." She greeted him brightly.
Adam smiled at her,
"Hello."
"She'll be two minutes. She's just having a final look."
He nodded,
"Okay."
Brogan stared at herself in the mirror, and she swallowed slowly. What if she was dressed too formal? What if Adam had just worn smart jeans and shirt? She took a deep breath, pulling at the bottom of her dress, and she smiled, her heart racing. Turning around, Brogan moved around the door, and she smiled at Adam. Her heart had stopped for a moment, she was sure of it. He looked so… speechless.
"Wow." Adam breathed out.
Brogan blushed deeply, looking down at his feet.
Adam smiled to himself, taking Brogan's hand, and he pulled her into him.
"Come on, you." He murmured in her ear.
The two left the hotel room, leaving Kirsty to walk into her own room, and they walked over to the lift; and Adam pressed the button.
"Brogan, y' look…" He trailed off, trying to find the right word. "Stunning."
She blushed again, and smiled shyly at him,
"Thanks. You look very handsome." She commented.

"Thank you." Brogan said softly, as Adam pulled out her chair.
The two sat down, and the waiter handed them both a menu.
"And what can I get you both to drink?" The waiter asked.
"Uh… Can I get a bottle of rosé, please?" Adam asked.
The waiter smiled and nodded, walking away.
"The menu looks nice." Brogan commented, as her eyes scanned over the menu.
Adam nodded in agreement,
"Yeah, it does. Thank god, too. I'm starvin'."
Brogan laughed,
"Yeah, me too."
"Seen anything you fancy?"
"Uh… maybe the sirloin steak?"
"Ooh, that sounds nice." Adam said, looking for the steak menu.

The pair had finishing eating, and they were now sitting finishing their bottle of wine.
"Have you enjoyed your weekend?" Adam asked.
Brogan smiled,
"It's been amazing. Thank you."
"You're very welcome." Adam smiled. "I hate when the weekend comes to an end."
Brogan nodded,
"Yeah, me too. It sucks."
"We won't leave it so long this time."
She nodded again in agreement.
Adam held his glass out in the middle,
"To an amazing weekend."
Brogan smiled,
"To an amazing weekend."
They both clinked their glasses together, and then they took a sip.
