Hey! It's been like, what...many months? I don't even remember how long it been. I'm so sorry, writers block, school, and...life issues stopped me from writing this for a while. Thank you so much for ANYONE still reading this, it makes me so happy. I've had this written for a while now, and I've noticed that my writing has gotten a lot better, so next chapter, that's already been started, will hopefully have better writing for you guys :).

The day went by a lot like the morning did. It seemed like they hadn't even left the guild, if it wasn't for that empty piece that rested in Aurea's chest. She enjoyed Angele's home, and found out she had quite a large backyard with various plants (that were now at least a foot taller because of a certain little boy practicing his skills) and a large view of the home's surroundings. Surprisingly, Angele's house seemed to be in the middle of nowhere as green hills filled the horizon and a lone stream lay about a block away from the front door. She hadn't seen Angele much during the day, and assumed that she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, and was never where the mysterious girl was.
The sun had set a while ago, and all of Team Natsu began to sleep soundly as if they had forgotten everything that had happened a week before. Unfortunately, a small light mage was thrashing round her make-shift bed, shivers and fear striking through her sleeping form. She wasn't allowed a week of consciousness to get used to her own memories, and they were now mangling together in various horror-filled dreams. (Warning Dark images!) Images of her happily playing with her friends, only to see them bloody on the floor right after. Darkness surrounded her mind as she watched them 'die' as if the images were put on repeat. Every time she would try to stop (Okay, dark images that aren't important over) All were things she recognized from past and recent events, except for a single scene. A dark figure stood in the middle of a dark room, an unknown body covered in blood behind it. As the pitch-black figure turned, glowing red eyes could be seen, and a sadistic, white smile spread on the face of the figure. Strings of shadows swam behind it, as if strange arms or tentacles were sprouting from its back. It let out a small giggle, as if it found its dreamer's fear amusing, and the shadows shot towards Aurea's vision.
Aurea shot up from unconsciousness, breathing hard and her eyes were wide open. Sweat was beaded across her face, and she lost any ability to breathe for a few seconds. When she finally realized she was awake, and all of it was just a dream, she slowly closed her eyes again and slouched over. She coughed a bit before wiping the sweat off of her forehead and opening her now duo-colored eyes once more. She would've laid back down, but the swift beating of her heart told her that she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep for a while. She slowly slipped out of her 'bed' and stood up. She was in the same room she had woken up in before, but there were now two other women sleeping there with her. Turns out the girls had all been staying in this room, while the boys stayed in a second guest room. At first Aurea was sleeping in the bed, as she hadn't woken up, but now Lucy was peacefully curled up on the mattress. Aurea had refused to sleep on the bed anymore, as she had stayed there for an entire week, so Lucy and Erza flipped a coin to see who would be sleeping in the bed this time, and they would take turns after that. Aurea sighed happily as she look at her sleeping companions. She didn't want to bother their sleep, so she carefully slipped out of the room to clear her head. As she walked through the hall, she peered into the boy's guest room and giggled at their positions. Kai had stolen the bed, sleeping with a cute smile on his face, and Happy was curled up on his chest. The other two were sprawled out on the floor, as if they had passed out mid-fight. Not able to help herself, she crept into the room, jumping over the two men and jumping over to Kai and Happy. Without thinking, she placed her hands over her mouth, kissed them, and brought them away, blowing lightly on her palms. Golden sparks flew into the air and sailed around the room and landed on every living beings' closed eyes. They sailed out of the single room and spread to the other rooms as well, landing on Erza and Lucy's eyes, before sailing into Angele's eyes as well.
After that swift moment of magic, Aurea smiled once more and slinked out of the room, whispering a soft 'goodnight' before closing the door. She began walking through the house again, not making a sound as her feet softly led her to the backyard of Angele's home. Aurea opened the door silently and closed it with the same amount of noise before leaving the smooth hardwood floors and placing her bare feet on the soft grass. She felt relatively calm outside, below the glistening stars. It felt like there were hundreds of people watching over her, encased within the stars. She wasn't truly afraid of her dreams, though the last scene sent shivers through her spine. If anything, it made her determined to become stronger so she could protect her family, so nothing like would ever happen again. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, before letting it out and gazing up at the pattern of lights that adorned the sky. Even though one of her eyes was a different color, the stars still reflected off of her gem-like irises and made it seem like the galaxy was encased within her very being.
"What are you doing out here?" a voice asked, causing Aurea to jump a bit and turn around.
There, standing right outside the door, was Angele herself. Her pale skin shone in the moonlight and her dark hair resembled the night sky itself. Her deep, blue eyes shone with slight annoyance and curiosity, with a hint of concern for the young light mage. She was still wearing her usual cloak that hid her shoulders and back from view. Underneath she was wearing a nightgown very similar to the one Aurea was wearing, and her feet were bare as well.
"Oh, I'm sorry Miss Angele, did I wake you?" Aurea asked, brushing her hair away from her face.
"Not directly, no, and I thought I told you to stay away from magic for a day." She replied sternly.
It took a moment for Aurea to realize what she was talking about, but remembering earlier she giggled a bit, "I'm sorry, I wasn't really thinking when I did that. Besides…" she looked over Angele's shoulder at the clock inside the house, "It's 1:47, so it's technically the next day." She said sheepishly.
Angele sighed and hit Aurea lightly in the back of the head, "That doesn't count."
Aurea laughed in response before looking back at the sky. "The stars are beautiful tonight."
Angele nodded in response, "Yes, they are." She said, looking towards the sky as well.
"You know, sometimes I think I can hear them, like they're speaking to me. Is that strange?" Aurea said, turning towards Angele, who looked down at her in response, smiling lightly.
"No, I don't think it is. But all stars aside, you still haven't answered my question. What are you doing out here?" she asked sternly.
"Oh, well, to tell you the truth, I had a nightmare and I couldn't get back to sleep. The stars are comforting, so I decided to see them. Speaking of dreams, may I speak with you about my dreams, about why you were in my dreams?" Aurea replied, gazing into Angele's blue eyes.
"…Yes, I suppose would be as good a time as ever. But if you've had any other strange dreams, before seeing me, I mean, then I would ask you to please tell me about those as well, if you don't mind."
"Oh, alright." And with that, the two sat down, and Aurea explained all three of her dreams about the mysterious women. With every word, Angele seemed to get more confused, but more understanding at the same time. As Aurea spoke about the last dream, the one with Angele in it, Angele gained a distant look, as if she was remembering a slightly sad memory. Once Aurea finished explaining everything, Angele nodded and put her hand to her chin.
"I believe I may understand what's happening. Tell me, your eye and that pale piece of your hair, were they both gained after moments of magical significance?"
"Um, I guess so…what's going on?" Aurea replied, leaning closer to Angele in anticipation.
Angele only smiled sadly and shook her head, "Unfortunately, I cannot tell you that. What I can tell you, though, is that I believe I trust you even more now, than I did before." She said, gripping the edge of her cloak.
"Oh, alright." Aurea sighed sadly, looking a bit tired, "I wish I knew what was going on, but that's life, right? You never know where the road's gonna take you. But I'm glad you trust me. I trust you too, I don't think you'll do anything to hurt my friends, not after all you've done for us." She said, rubbing her golden eye sleepily.
It was only now that Angele noticed the golden specks sailing around the young girl, as if the stars had left the sky and decided to dance around her form. The movement was slow, as if it was to lull a child to sleep, which is exactly what it was doing. Aurea soon let out a yawn, and her body fell, lightly sailing onto Angele's leg as the lights continued to dance around the light mage's form. After a bit, Aurea's eyelids finally fell, and the golden specks sailed into the air as a spiral, before flying out of view. Angele stared at them in amazement, before looking back down to the young girl that seemed to have fallen asleep on her lap. Smiling a bit, Angele picked up the small girl, taking her inside, and just as she was about to close the door behind her, she heard a faint whisper come from the cargo she held in her arms.
"Thank you…Angele…" Aurea whispered, still in a deep sleep.
The girl smiled, and set Aurea down in her bed, not desiring to go all the way to the guest room. She tucked the young girl under the covers and brushed the hair out of her face before leaving the room. She closed the door with a silent 'sweet dreams', before leaving the girl to her slumber.
