"Well this is certainly not what I had expected." Dai remarked as he looked at the place, how could a couple of students even afford such a house? "How do you kids even manage to pay for all this?"
"In our own interest I would rather not answer that." She smiled as she knew that it would only give away where they could be living, besides it was best to keep her mother and family out of this as much as she could.
"Can't say I blame you people, you are being pretty smart. Tell me are there any others in the house?"
The girls both giggled. "Why don't you come inside and find out."
Dai took what felt to him as the mother of all deep breaths; this was going to be it for him. Jumping straight into the lion's den as some would call it but for himself it felt rather exciting. "Well I guess there is no turning back is there?" He was getting pretty nervous.
It only got worse as Yuka opened the door for him.
"I do like how the place looks; it has a pleasant atmosphere to it." Sure it did feel old to him but that is what he liked about it, it made him nostalgic.
Further up ahead he could hear the voice of young man and he had already a pretty good idea on who that might be, he had been surprised to see Nozomi at Yuka's side when they came to meet him. Now he wondered if his hunch was right or not.
He met the boy's gaze; it seemed he was as surprised as he was upon seeing each other. "You?" They both breathed as their eyes met. "Well this day is full of surprises isn't it?." Dai did his best at a joke to take away some of the tension, guess the boy hadn't expected him.
"Well it seems we won't be needing an introduction now do we?" Kouta remarked after regaining his composure, to think he had met this man before on the street.
"Honestly I was a bit shocked when I saw the young lady that accompanied Yuka-san, to think that I just bumped into you kids by accident."
"Well." Kouta scratched the back of his head. "Shocked would be an understatement I guess, seriously I think my heart skipped a few beats back there."
"Kouta!" Yuka snapped as she gave him a rather heavy nudge in the side. "That is no way to greet our guest, besides why don't you make yourself useful and get us something to drink."
Letting out a soft moan. "My apologies, is there something you would like to drink?"
"Ah just some water or juice if you have it will be fine, I refuse to drink alcohol."
Nodding both Kouta and Nozomi left as they went into the kitchen. "Hirano-san would you be kind to sit down in the main room." She gestured for him take a seat. "I will go and inform the girls that you are here, I am certain they are just as nervous as you are."
"Ah yes Nana-san, I have been looking forward to continuing our talk from the last time with her." He placed a small notebook on the table. "Would you mind if I took notes for myself, I really would like to go through this information back at my place when it has had time to sink in but if you don't like then just say it. I don't want to damage the trust you have in me even with the others seeming to be a bit apprehensive of it."
"It is okay with me but you should ask the others as well." Yuka left as she went to look for the girls.
Dai nodded as he was left alone in the room, he pinched himself to make sure that he wasn't dreaming.
She looked at him with a certain form of disgust, the man had once been a high-ranking member of one of the nation's most profound elite fighting forces and now he was reduced to this. "You simply look terrible former agent Bando." She noticed what was left of his right arm, the prosthetic had been cleanly sliced off. The rest of his body didn't look to be in any better shape, cuts and bruises were all across him.
"Like I am going to let some bitch talk to me like that!" He coughed as he leaned against the wall. "I might have taken a beaten but I am still capable of dealing with the likes of you."
"You can relax agent, I am not here to fight you. Believe me I have studied your records and I do not believe that fighting against you would be in my favor even when you look as terrible as this I should add."
"Then what is it the hell you want, you came here to gloat!?"
"Not at all." She replied. "I am actually here to ask if you have considered the commanders offer, I would like to point out that he is not the kind of man that should be left waiting."
He growled in response. "Like hell if I could care, that man can go and stuff it as far as I'm concerned!" Holding up the ragged stump for her to see. "You assholes cost me my arm! My freaking eyes and you left me to rot out there! I have nothing in common with you people other than to see that horned bitch death!"
She smiled. "I take that is a yes?" Bemused she watched as he tossed something towards her feet, looking down she noticed that it was an odd looking crossbow. this wasn't what she had expected nor did it seems to match the man's psychological profile from what she had read before coming here.
"You are going to need that if you want to continue with this hunt for the other diclonius, I am only after Lucy! It works rather well on them I must admit."
She listened to what he had to say but some of it didn't make any sense. "Have you tested this weapon successfully yourself, if so why are you giving it to me?"
"My reasons are my own, now either take it or throw it in the ocean." In reality he no longer felt any need for it, it had been a dirty weapon to begin with, he much rather used his own equipment or even better his bare fists. "Take my advice and get yourself out of this conflict, it will cause only more pain and death for those of us involved."
She looked at it. "You are a curious man agent Bando, is there no way that would make you reconsider the commanders offer? You have only to gain from it."
"Take that piece of crap and tell your boss that he can shove it up his ass, if I'm going to kill that bitch I will do it for myself and not for some pencil pushing clown in a suit!" Turning away from the woman he no longer saw any need for going on with his fight, what was there left to fight for anymore. And yet he still longed for revenge, he couldn't go on with his life unless he settled this once and for all. "Your boss can go to hell as far as I'm concerned! I am done with cleaning up the mess that other people made in the first place! Sort it out yourselves you fucking idiots!"
"I will take my leave then, good luck with your recovery agent Bando. I will also relay your answer to the commander though I fear for the repercussions that will surely follow." Picking up the weapon she turned on the spot and left, the hut suddenly felt lonelier than ever.
"Don't expect me to be scared of some suit, even with one arm I know that I can take him." He growled as he remembered the man, the arrogant way with which he walked or talked. That guy thought he was better than other people. Probably the person he loathed the most after that horned woman, for another person he could at least afford a modicum of respect.
He was alone once more but this time it felt unpleasant for the first time in his life. Listening outside the only sounds that kept him company where those from the sea, he expected some rough weather coming their way. Looking again they would be in for one stormy night.
Yuka entered the kitchen in a hurry with a very disturbed expression on her face.
"Are you all right, you look like something has gone wrong?" Kouta asked as he noticed it.
"Mayu-chan and Nana-chan they are gone, I can't seem to find either of them at the moment. Where are they!?"
Kouta laughed which prompted another nudge from her. "Sorry I should have told you sooner, Mayu-chan went for a short walk with Wanta to clear her mind. I guess she felt bad about what happened, Nana-chan didn't want her to go on her own and so joined her."
"You are telling me they went out!?" Now she was the one in a shock. "Did they really have to go right before Hirano-san would come, tell me how long have they been gone?"
"Not too long Yuka-san." Nozomi answered her. "It seems that they left shortly before we came back to the Inn." Seeing the look in her eyes she turned her head down, not sure if she should have said that or not.
"Thank you Nozomi-chan." YUka turned her head back to face Kouta. "Why couldn't you just tell me that when we arrived here, I was scared you know?"
Kouta gave her a hug, knowing that it was wrong of him. "You're right, sorry about that but I completely forgot about it when I saw him."
She looked back. "Could you tell me what happened to Nyu-chan, she looks like she has been in a fight? I take it also that Saeko-chan got picked up him?"
Kouta simply nodded. "Nana-chan brought Nyu back, Dreachon-san followed shortly. He helped with treating her wounds before taken Saeko-chan with him, he was quite clear that he did not want her to be in danger. I don't expect to see either of them back soon, well not as long as our guest is here anyway."
She gently unwrapped his arms. "I guess I will then inform our guest that he can relax as well. Nozomi-chan be a dear and also grab something to eat, this is going to become a long night I fear."
Behind her she could hear Kouta sigh in agreement. Well at least it would provide her with a moment of rest as well, she still didn't know what was going on with these horned girls but for some reason they were being a handful to both Yuka and Kouta. Perhaps she would ask them what was going later this week when she could catch them alone.
"Nozomi-chan you can go first, there is something I need to talk about with Kouta.?" She could hear Yuka say as she approached him. Waiting until they were both alone she started.
"I think it would be best if we didn't explain to him where Dreachon-san came from."
Giving her the odd look. "You mean that we should keep quiet that he isn't exactly human either?"
Now she frowned. "Well how do you think that he is going to react to that!? She got closer to him. "We have kept that from most of the girls for good reason, if Hirano-san were to know of it as well who knows what could happen."
Kouta backed away. "Well I guess you have a point but what should we say when he asks about him, you know that is bound to happen at some point."
She shook her head. "We just tell him that he is from Europe or something, besides he looks good enough to pass off as one of those." She pointed for him to pack some of the refreshments as well. "Right now I think it is best if we kept some of the more awkward information from him, it is already getting way too complicated for me."
"Which is why we should tell him, he is a member of the government group and if anybody is able to tell us more it is him. You said it yourself Yuka that we should trust him."
She stopped as she listened to what he had to say, true she had said that indeed and it would be hypocritical of her not to heed her own words, still would it actually help their situation if agent Hirano knew what they had been told at the start of this mess.
"We should tell him gently, who knows how he will react." She remarked as she left the kitchen. Following her closely Kouta still had one final thing to say. "We will do it one step at a time, at least at a pace that we are comfortable with."
Coming into the room they could see that Nozomi had already taken her place as she was already involved in a little conversation of her own with agent Hirano.
"Well Hirano-san, I must apologize as it seems that the girls just went outside to get a fresh nose. Would it be too much of trouble if you were to wait for them to come back?"
Looking somewhat surprised at her request. "Not a problem, I'm not expected back until a couple of days. Besides I was starting to enjoy the conversation I'm having with your pupil, it seems we both share the same interest in opera." Yuka's eye twitched as she couldn't believe her ears. The normally rather shy Nozomi had gotten into a conversation with an unknown man just like that, it made her feel proud of her.
"Oh one more thing, please call me Dai. I am not so strict on etiquettes." Her eye twitched again, she hadn't been expecting this but it did make her feel more at ease.
They stopped talking as they could hear a strange sound coming from outside, it almost sounded like somebody was laughing. "I will go and have a look." Kouta mentioned as he got up but he was stopped as Yuka grabbed his arm. "Stay with our guest, I will go and have a look." She excused herself against Dai as she left the room, hoping that it were both Mayu and Nana coming back from their walk she opened the door.
She hadn't expected who was behind hit as she was knocked down by an over excited Saeko.
"Yuka-san, guess who allowed me to come back to home!" Picking herself up she looked over the girls shoulder, not a surprise to see him keeping an eye on her.
"Honestly you are the last person I was expecting to see this night." Watching as he stepped inside she could feel that he wasn't in the best of moods.
Saeko got up and wrapped her arms around his waist. "I am only here because she insisted on being here; it seems you have made an impression on her with your determination."
She looked at Saeko surprised that this little girl had been able to make him change his mind, she couldn't help but smile as she felt that her suspicions back than might be true.
"Well given the two of you are here would you care to come and enlighten our guest on how nice horned girls can actually be?" They both looked down on her now.
Noticing their gaze she began to slowly hide behind him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Guess they both came off a bit too much for her.
"Don't worry dear; there is a man inside who wants to know more about you." She went down on her knees as she did explain to Saeko a few things that she shouldn't talk about.
"Do you understand what I just told you?"
Nodding her head. "I do Yuka-san, I will be a good girl I promise." Getting up she braced herself for what could be a rather violent confrontation. She was glad to have at least Saeko in the house as now Dai could talk with one of them but right now she could really do without him. "Can I get the two of you something to drink?"
"I will have what she is having." Yuka wanted to turn when she was grabbed by the arm. "Just remember that I will keep a close eye on him, any threat to her and well you get the idea." She pulled her arm back as she knew exactly what he was hinting at.
"If you think that I will let you do such a stupid thing in my house then think again!" She snapped as she turned her head away from him, he could be so annoying, no outright aggravating at times.
Dai watched as the door opened, he had already heard voices and he expected to see Nana walking in. It would be nice to learn more from her and just as he turned around to greet her he stopped. This was not Nana standing there, it was another diclonius and as he looked closer he recognized her. "I am glad to see that you okay, can I ask what your name is?" He was actually feeling nervous about seeing this particular one.
She didn't say a word, was she scared of him. He recalled that she was in a terrible shape back then but seeing her like this did make him good of what he had done.
"Do you remember me?" He asked wondering what was keeping the girl from saying a thing. Trying to move closer he noticed that she moved away from him, guess she was scared of him after all. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Dai, what is yours?"
"You most certainly won't get the chance!" A heavy voice greeted him; right behind the girl another figure appeared. This one he recognized all too well much to his own discomfort, instantly the wound on his chest flared up in pain as their eyes met.
"Saeko, that is the name I chose for myself." She answered Dai, her attitude changed the moment he was next to her. He watched curiously as she followed his every move, she didn't sit down until he had chosen a place.
"That is a beautiful name for such a pretty girl like you." Just some words to break the ice or at least to make her feel a bit more at ease. She still hid herself behind the imposing form.
"Do I make you feel nervous?" An honest question but one that seemed to catch her attention.
Giving a short nod she said a few words. "You were with bad people, I don't like bad people."
Not so good to hear that she associated him still with the others, guess he would now need to proof that he wasn't a bad person. Well it did explain why she was being so apprehensive and cautious around him.
"I was back then but now I want to understand you and your fellow sisters. I think people are afraid of you because they don't know or understand you."
He noticed that from time to time she gave a questioning look at the person she was hiding after, almost as if she was asking him if it was okay for her to move on. "I don't understand, what do you mean with that?"
"He means that he now realizes that he was an idiot and he wants to make up for it." Dreachon let out a short insult. "It sure took you long enough to come to that conclusion."
Dai tried to bite back his anger. "I don't have to take that from a man who has kil-!" He was dragged off he feet and into the hallway but Yuka.
"Care to explain to me what that was about?" He asked as she led go of him. "Why did you interrupt me, you know that he is a killer right?"
Looking to make sure none of the others were listening. "Yes we know that but Nozomi-chan doesn't and I would prefer to keep her out of this. She is innocent and it would better if she knew as little as possible about the other people in this house." Dai wanted to say something but she stopped him. "Please don't think that it is easy for us or me, I was there and I have seen what happened but then those people were about to kill us."
"Maybe so but that still doesn't make it alright to kill."
Yuka shook her head. "I believe in that as well but I also like to live. Don't I deserve that as well, your colleagues would have seen otherwise."
Thinking back to agent Hata or the threats made by the commander he couldn't blame her, she was right in what she said but then so was he in a way. Life had always been sacred to him, that is how he had been raised.
"So please for my sake let it go, I will have words with him on the matter but right now he is concerned about Saeko-chan. I know that he made a promise to keep her safe and that he has already failed in that, I think he is scared of not being able to protect her."
Dai felt a bit confused by her answer. "I did not take him for a person, could you tell me perhaps then why she is constantly hiding behind him?"
Yuka smiled. "That is an odd tale but the short version of it is that she feels safe with him."
Now he was surprised. "Okay I will drop it for now."
"Mayu, I really think we should go back. Yuka-san should be home soon." Nana was starting to get very nervous as she and Mayu kept walking. "Do you really need to go and check on him now, didn't he say that he no longer wanted to see you?"
Mayu halted at hearing her words. "I know that." She cried as she thought about it. "But I can't live with myself knowing that I didn't make sure that he is alright."
"Even still we should go home, I have a bad feeling."
Mayu gave her a hug. "You don't have to come with me if you don't want to, I can go on my own."
She let out a soft sigh, Nana just couldn't. "I can't, not after you going with me to papa's grave." Nana hugged her back; at least holding her meant that she couldn't go any further. "I won't turn my back on my best friend."
"It means a lot to me hearing that." Gently letting go Mayu freed herself from Nana's hold, grabbing her hand they walked the last part together.
"Just promise me one thing Mayu, if he gets angry you will simply leave and go home right?"
Mayu nodded as they could already see the beach in the distance.
"Just one more thing Nana-san." Nana watched as she heard her name. "Let's promise to keep this from the others, they would only object to this."
"I understand but isn't that wrong, I mean they would get worried for a reason." She could see that Mayu was hesitant about answering her; even she must feel that it was wrong not to tell them about it but it also felt wrong to Mayu on not checking up on a friend.
"I know that but I can't just give up on a friend who has done so much for me in the past. Even if he no longer wants to see me I still want to make sure he is fine."
Nana knew what Mayu meant with that, after all didn't she feel the same about papa and what he had told her. Even with not being his real daughter she still wanted nothing more than to be with him. "Let's go see how Bando-san is doing then."
Mayu agreed but as they rounded the corner they bumped into a person.
"Well you are certainly the last person I had expected to see here, sadly for you that we had to meet here as you are my ticket to gaining access to the chief's inner circle." The woman mentioned as she pulled something from underneath her jacket. Both girls cried as they recognized the object she had in her hand. "How could you, that is just vile!" Nana snapped as she jumped in front of Mayu. "Mayu run home, I will make sure you can get away!"
With those words she got out her vectors and steadied herself.
Entering the room again Dai sat down, fortunately Yuka had explained some things to him which at least gave him some understanding on what went on between the people.
Looking at the girl that at the moment had his fullest attention, seeing her like this again confirmed what Yuka had been telling him. This girl couldn't possibly be a threat to anybody but then he had heard that diclonius could fake and pretend to be friendly only to violently strike at people once they dropped their guard.
"Saeko-chan, I can call you that can I?" Time for him to find out if she was genuine about being this shy, if she was there would be certain for her to react. Hearing her name coming from him had made her hide, making sure she kept this Dreachon person between herself and him at all times when she looked at him.
"Is it alright for me to call you that?" Was he glad he had taken those extra classes on psychology back then; her face was easy to read unlike most other people.
"I don't want to be called that by bad people." So she still thought of him as one of the bad people, guess it wasn't strange to consider that after what she had been through she was hesitant to trust people. perhaps this was going to be a bit more difficult than he had anticipated.
"But Yuka-san says you are a good person so you can call me Saeko-san." She smiled as said her own name, a warm smile he had to admit. "Will you be a good person from now on?"
He hadn't expected that question. "Well I certainly want to be, would that be okay with you?"
She warmed to his words and as he began to ask more and more rather simple questions Saeko became more open to the them, telling things about herself and her life she wouldn't normally tell.
To Dai it was interesting to hear and although he had hoped to talk to Nana again this diclonius certainly provided him with plenty of information even if some of it was more random in nature than useful, still her persona more than made up for that.
Until now the only behavior patterns he had seen where those samples provided by the DRI and always the diclonius had acted in the same way, each time they just screamed they wanted to kill. Did the DRI selected those examples on purpose as neither Nana nor Saeko displayed any kind of similar behavior, in contrast they were the very opposite.
He wondered what he could learn if those two were in the same room. How would they interact with each other? Why was it that these girls behaved so different, was it because they had a far more positive experience with normal humans? He could spend days in this house trying to find the answer to that, if he could just get more time.
Time went by faster than he paid attention to. "I want to thank you." Dai made a short bow to both Yuka, Kouta and to Saeko thanking them for this opportunity. "I had thought that with Nana-san's absence there wouldn't be much to learn but Saeko-san certainly has been very enlightening."
"We are sorry that she hasn't come back yet, honestly I don't know what is keeping her since they went for only a short walk." Yuka apologized as she felt in part responsible even though there was little she could have done about it.
Dai was quick to inform there was no need for them to feel sorry, he had in a different way gotten what he wanted to know even if things hadn't gone as they had planned. "Besides this night is still young and if you won't mind then I would like to stay a bit longer with your permission."
"I like this; you are a nice man to talk with." Saeko let out as she caught on what they were talking about. "Perhaps you and master, can get along with each other as well." Her usage of the word master seemed to invoke a short growl coming from him.
That was easier said than done Dai told himself, although he would respect Yuka's request there would be no way that he would give this man a chance after what he had done.
"Perhaps in time yes." He noticed how she didn't use a name to address him, why did she call him master, to him it sounded almost odd and it was even stranger that right after he did not seem to approve of it. Had he done something to her in the past.
Kouta got up. "I am going to grab something to eat for you then, we are going to need it anyway should Nana-san return." A chorus of laughs answered that remark.
The laughing stopped as they heard the voice of Mayu as she opened the door, she was screaming. "YUKA! KOUTA!" She pulled open the door to the room as she tried to catch her breath. "WE NEED TO HURRY; SOMEBODY HAS ATTACKED NANA-SAN!"
"What happened to Nana, where is she!?" Kouta was the first to reach her as he tried to make her come to her sense; to him she seemed to be in a state of shock. Behind him both Yuka and Nozomi watched with fear written all over their faces, no doubt Yuka was reliving what she had been through back then. "Just go back to start and tell us what happened one piece at a time."
"This is very important." Yuka remarked. "If something happened to her we need to know."
"You should give her some space." Dreachon remarked behind her. "She isn't going to tell much unless she manages to calm herself."
Still shaking Mayu sat down, grabbing the cup that was offered to her by Nozomi she gulped it all down. "Please don't be angry at me, it was my fault that this has happened."
They all looked at her. "What do you mean Mayu-chan, why are you responsible for this?"
"Because I wanted to go to the beach and make sure that Bando-san was okay." She looked at Dreachon, no doubt wondering what he had done to him.
"Don't tell me you went after that man, not after how he attacked Nyu-chan?" Kouta object but he was silenced quickly by both Yuka and Dreachon.
"When we almost got to the beach there was this woman we bumped into by accident but upon seeing us she grabbed a weapon and she threatened us. She said we were her ticket to gaining access to the chief inner circle." She started to cry again.
Dai sighed as he understood what had caused Nana to be so late, they had gotten attacked by somebody and from hearing what this girl was saying he could guess there were only two possible suspects and he had a pretty good hunch that Saseba was not involved. Behind him he could hear Dreachon talking with somebody else; no doubt he had his own suspects.
"Chief Kakuzawa, that must the person that that woman was referring to."
Yuka and Nozomi looked at each other. "Who is that, I don't think I have heard that name before." She looked at Kouta if he had the answer but he could only shake his head.
Dai answered them as he knew the man. "He is the authority on the diclonius issue and the chief director of the DRI, the location where your diclonius have come from." He could tell that they didn't like what they had heard. "If she has been captured by them then I have no doubt they will likely return her back to that island."
"Hirano is right." Dai hadn't expected to get support from him. "Dogo intercepted a transmission for an emergency flight towards the island with all due haste, they reported an important package." That confirmed it for them, Nana had been captured by the very enemy they had been trying to avoid. Kouta slammed his fists into the wall as he cursed.
"I am going to get her back!" He cursed again as he punched the wall again.
"That is not going to happen." Dai remarked. "Those people are armed and not to be taken lightly, besides you wouldn't be able to get there in the first place anyway."
Yuka got up. "We can't just give up on Nana-san!?"
"I'll go." They looked at him. "I can get there and bring her back."
Dai grabbed his shoulder. "You are not going alone, I know you have skill but you will need back-up if you go to that place." He looked at them. "I know you still don't fully trust me."
Taking a deep breath as what he was going to say next was equal to madness. "I will go going with you; I will help to bring her back."
"It was good of you to contact me; you have done well in finishing this loose end." He turned down the phone as he looked at the person still standing behind him.
"May I ask what loose end has been dealt with Kakuzawa-sama." She asked as her eyes kept focusing on the door. She was here for security reasons and it paid off to do her job properly.
"The silpelit that was let free by that fool Kurama, nr. 7 has been captured and is even as we speak being brought back to this facility." He chuckled as he mentioned the name. "To think that his selfish sacrifice has been in vain pleases me."
"What are you plans for her, surely she is of no further use to the Lebensborn project?"
He laughed at her request, always curious about what was going on. "I have no plans for her, as a mere silpelit she is useless. Perhaps I will hand her over to either dr. Nousou or Ritsuko, for all I care they can cut her into pieces." Leaning back in his chair he grabbed some documents.
"Who was the one that apprehended her in the first place, I don't think any of my people have managed that so far." Curious she wanted to know, she couldn't afford somebody to outshine her. She was head of the chiefs personal security guard and a member of his inner circle.
"You already know her." He remarked. "She came across nr. 7 within the city limits of Kamakura, taking matters into her own hands she successfully over-powered her."
"I am impressed." Yamada commented while she rolled her eyes, in reality she couldn't care any less. Diclonius weren't all that impressive once a person knew what they were capable of.
"You should also focus your attention to other more important matters, not the fate of a worthless silpelit that has no further use to our cause."
Making a small bow she gave her opinion on why it was important for her. "With all due respect Kakuzawa-sama, I am head of your personal security and given that we know that nr. 7 has had contact with Lucy before. It would be wise of us to heighten security with her being transported towards the institute. Carelessness at this time could costs us everything you have worked for so hard over these last years."
It gave him something to consider. "Are you suggesting now that Lucy or any other would stage an attack upon this facility, it is located on an island I should point out?"
"That certainly is true but it doesn't mean that it can't be attacked, it does limit their chances of approaching the facility but they still can. With your permission I would also advice for having the special cargo placed in the vault until we can be certain there is no risk."
"Perhaps it would be the best move to secure it, have it also prepared for transportation and Yamada make certain that nobody finds out about it."
"Of course. Should I inform on how the preparations are going with regards to the ship? I expect them to be completed by this time."
Handing her the other files he knew that she was right, the preparations on the ship should be completed at any moment though it was hard to say as the crew had strict instructions to maintain radio-silence in all but the most urgent situations. "The captain is aware that I am to be contacted upon their completion, which said they should start contacting me soon."
He was impatient for everyday was now a delay to his final ascension of becoming a god.
"They had better not screw up this task I have given them." He growled as resumed going through the files again, fortunately he had made certain that people loyal to him were in command and would make sure that every man and woman on board would do their utmost best in the work assigned to them. "Be certain that nothing will be left to chance."
"I will personally oversee the cargo's transportation and installation Kakuzawa-sama, with your permission I will make the arrangements for myself as well." She bowed as she left the office to make the preparations for the final transportation, she felt excited to know that the moment was almost upon them.
