Enjoy~!
-Third POV-
Mori sat patiently, trying not to get irritated as Jiro continued to smirk at them from his spot next to his elder relative. Honey was doing his best to ignore him and carried on looking around.
"Well, I'll just get straight to the point," Kui said, "Jiroku wants your companies aligned with his."
Mori's eyes widened in shock, like hell he was going to do that! Honey looked up at Mori with a small frown. Mori cleared his throat, "I'm sorry, what exactly would that do?"
The Haninozuka and Morinozuka's companies had never been aligned or placed with another except for each other every now and then. Jiro rolled his eyes at Mori's question.
"It would put a merger between the Kiyamura families and the Haninozuka and Morinozuka, which would make us allies and we would work together. We would also get a fair share of the profits from yours, since you would be placed under our family name.
Mori shook his head at them, "I'm afraid we will have to refuse to do such a thing."
"And why?" Kui stared at Mori in disbelief.
"Because," Mori started, "We will not subject to putting our companies under the hands of a smaller name to benefit them and be stuck working under you when we have more wealth and power than you do."
Jiro glared at Mori, "I want your companies under my name."
"You can't have them, I'm, we're, not giving them to you. Ever. That's all I have to say on the matter."
"What if we cut you a deal?"
Mori said nothing. Kui cleared his throat now and smiled at the two guests.
"What if... We were to merger under your companies?" Kui offered.
"Grandpa, no!" Jiro hissed, not wanting that whatsoever. He looked at the two martial artists, "You come under our name or you'll have a new enemy."
Mori rose, as did Honey, "We have no choice but to be enemies then," Mori glared at the young heir, "We will not work under you."
The two then left the room, closing the door loudly. Jiro ground his teeth together in anger and Kui just shook his head sadly.
Mori said nothing the whole ride to his house. Honey would look up at him every now and then to see a mixture of anger and annoyance.
"Relax, Takashi," Honey mumbled, "It's over now. They made their decision and you did a great job standing up for our families. You also did fantastic at not punching Jiroku in the jaw like I wanted to do."
Mori couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "Thanks, Mitsukuni."
Honey smiled brightly at his cousin, "We're almost back to the house! Then we can see..." He trailed off, remembering that Haruhi wasn't there.
Mori looked out the window, "We get to go home and sleep, Mitsukuni. It's going to be after eleven when we finally get there."
Honey nodded, missing Haruhi. He looked up at Mori, his face was emotionless. He honestly didn't know if he missed Haruhi or not, she had only been gone a day so far but that had been a whole day without hearing a word from her. He continued to look up at Mori, he also wondered if he was mad at her. Honey didn't think he was but it could be possible.
"We're here," Mori stated before climbing out and getting away from his cousin's stare.
Honey yawned as he climbed out, walking with Mori up to the entrance and inside. Mori didn't see any sign of his parents and decided he would just talk to them tomorrow. It was Monday so he knew his father would be home. The two parted ways once they got to the right hallway. Honey went in the door across from Mori's while Mori slowly opened his door. He closed it and turned around to face his room while stretching. Tonight had definitely been exhausting to him. He removed his shirt and pants, throwing them in his hamper. His eyes looked to his bed and he stopped dead in his tracks.
His grey eyes stared at the beautiful brunette who was peacefully sleeping in his bed. His lips upturned a bit to form a small smile and he continued walking over, climbing into the bed next to her. He wrapped his strong arms around her waist and pulled her to him, holding her softly as he fell asleep. He knew tonight's rest would definitely be a nice one.
Well hey there. I figured I'd post a small chapter today. Please review and let me know what you guys think about what Jiro wanted, do you think he's done and is going to leave them alone? What about the twins and what they mentioned with the Kiyamuras? :) Either way I hope you enjoyed this small little chapter.
Pleaseeeee review so I know if you guys are liking it still!
