It was just like any other nights in Norrisville as the ninja; protector of Norrisville goes out on patrol. So far, there has been no trouble emerging from the dark streets of the city. But just as things were peaceful, an alarm system went off from a distance. The ninja was patrolling the city from the rooftops, so when he heard the alarm going off from a distance, the ninja leaps from rooftop to rooftop to find the alarm's source. When he gets closer, the ninja noticed that the alarm came from a jewelry store. He jumps out from the rooftop, looks at the window and saw not one but four culprits.

The first culprit was a girl, no older than 13 years of age. Her reddish-brown hair is short and wavy, tied into a blue-violet fan-like bow, her skin is just as pale as the white snow but she lacks one thing – a nose where her Band-Aid is located. She wore a blue-violet shirt under a black leather jacket, blue jeans which reached down to her lower knees and a pair of black and violet sneakers. Her eyes were glowing red like the devil as she takes a handful of bracelets and stuffs them into her sack.

The second culprit was a young boy who flew towards the earrings section and scoops a handful of earrings and placed them in his sack. He wore a long, black lab-coat over a blue t-shirt, grey jeans, and a pair of red and white sneakers. He has a small clown-like nose, and wore a light bulb in the form of a hat, in which the ninja could see his brains. That's kinda creepy to see. Just like the noseless girl, his eyes were glowing red like the devil.

The third culprit was a young teenage boy who flew towards the necklace section and like the other two culprits; he took a handful of necklaces and stuffs them in his sack. His outfit is more exotic as he wore an Egyptian outfit. His skin is much darker than the others, but he has cat-like scars all over his face and body, a small brown beard and short, wavy brown hair. He too bears glowing red eyes.

The fourth and last culprit was different. He was a fat Chinese man who wore a maroon Chinese robe, a Chinese hat and a bow that ties around his braid. He is floating in the middle of the room, watching the other three culprits stealing the goods. Because his back was turned, the ninja couldn't see the Chinese culprit's eyes, but he can assumed that like the other three his eyes were glowing red.

The ninja had made a few calculations and theories that all four culprits are ghosts. Mainly because ghosts can fly and they somehow used their intangibility to get the jewels off of their display cases without setting off the alarm. He goes back up to the rooftop to think of a strategy to catch the ghostly culprits. As the ghostly culprits work away, the dark-skinned culprit turns around and looks directly at the Chinese culprit.

"You could've been more careful, Tai-Changa." the dark-skinned culprit told the Chinese culprit, Tai-Changa. "The alarm is off and we don't have enough time to steal everything in this joint."

"Forgive me for my clumsiness, Jaguar." Tai-Changa apologized to the dark-skinned culprit, Jaguar. "I do not know that my weight would be enough to turn the alarm off."

"Well, just watch what you're doing with your weight." The noseless girl said to Tai-Changa. "What's our boss going to say if we get caught and come back empty handed?"

"I do not think we should worry about him, Amelia." Jaguar assured the noseless girl, Amelia.

"Yeah, don't worry about him." The bulb-wearing culprit told Amelia. "If he gets angry, what are we to do about it?"

"Jim, this is no time to be inconsiderate." Tai-Changa told the bulb-wearing culprit, Jim. "We've got a job to do and we won't let the cops catch us."

"SMOKE BOMB!"

Jaguar, Amelia, Jim and Tai-Changa turned around and saw the ninja standing in the middle of the store. In his hands were ninja rings.

"The boss didn't say anything about ninjas!" Jim angrily yelled at Tai-Changa. "Now we're gonna have to pound him till he's horse meat!"

"That won't be necessary." The ninja said as he throws the rings directly at the culprits' sacks, each ring cutting the sacks open to let the stolen goods fall onto the floor. The culprits were angry.

"I got this one." Amelia said as she shoots out a blue-violet ghost ray at the ninja, causing the ninja to fall onto the display case. He had accidentally broken it to set the alarm off even more.

The ninja quickly gets up on his feet and threw tripping balls at Amelia, causing her to fall onto the floor. Jaguar delivers a punch at the ninja which in turn caused the ninja to fall onto Tai-Changa who captures him. Jim uses the time to charge up his neon-green ghost ray and proceeds to aim it at the ninja, but the ninja ducks out of the way and the ghost ray knocks Tai-Changa out cold instead.

"Tai-Changa, I'm so sorry!" Jim cried as he and Jaguar lifted Tai-Changa's body.

Then the sound of police sirens grew near. Jaguar, Jim and Amelia gasped in horror.

"No time to get the goods." Jaguar told his teammates. "The police are near."

The ninja watched as the four culprits turn intangible and flew up through the ceiling, leaving the ninja alone with the stolen goods lying on the floor. The police would be here any minute. Without thinking, the ninja throws a smoke bomb and disappeared into thin air. As soon as he was gone, two policemen, both robo-apes, have arrived on scene. All they found were the stolen goods lying on the floor.

"Thieves." One of the robo-apes said.

"They're too careless to handle all the stolen goods." The other one said.

"Wanna take them and blame it on the ninja?" The first one asked.

"You're under arrest." The second one replied in frustration.

"Aww."

Meanwhile at the Buttowski residence on the same night, Cindy is in her normal outfit, quietly sneaking into the one of the guest rooms without setting off the alarm or making a loud ruckus along the way. The guest room seems nice and in perfect order, though something … or someone seemed off. Sleeping in the guest bed was a 9-year old girl who had puffy blonde hair tied in a ponytail while her bangs are curled away. She had a small nose. She wore a small crown on her hair and a pair of pearl earrings. She wore a pink pajama and a purple sleep mask that covers her eyes.

That's right Brianna. Cindy thought as she sneaks up to where the little girl, Brianna is sleeping. Get some beauty sleep while I get my allowance money back from you, you little thief.

As Brianna slept away, Cindy saw her purple and aqua wallet with a skull on it lying on the drawer beside Brianna's bed. Without letting Brianna know, Cindy quickly swipes her wallet away from the drawer, and proceeds to make her escape. Before she can do so, Brianna woke up, taking off her sleep mask to reveal a pair of angry blue eyes.

"Why you …" Brianna was about to scream out of fury when Cindy makes her escape by running out through the door.

Cindy, with her wallet in her hands, runs through the upstairs hallways, avoiding a sleepwalking Brad in the process, with Brianna chasing after her. She got to the stairs and makes her way down the stairs, but Brianna trips over Kick's skateboard and came rolling down like a boulder. Cindy ran faster to avoid getting trampled by Brianna and by the time she reached to the end of the stairs, she got out of Brianna's way and sprints towards the kitchen.

"No fair!" Brianna cried. "Your legs are longer than mine!"

Brianna resumes chasing Cindy whom the latter made a grab for the ceiling fan before the former could get to her. The fan goes around once and then Cindy lets go of the fan and proceeds to run towards the garage. She saw her escape through the garage door and outside is Sierra standing on the sidewalk with a motorcycle parked in the driveway. However, Brianna arrives in the scene and activates the closing button which causes the garage door to come down slowly. Cindy ran as fast as possible and makes it outside alive, but accidentally left her wallet behind. The garage door is almost at the bottom and Cindy grabbed her wallet quicker than Brianna slamming into the now closed garage door.

"Start the bike, Sierra!" Cindy cried as Sierra hops onto the motorcycle and starts the engine.

Cindy jumps onto the bike and Sierra proceeds to drive off into the road from their left. Cindy waves Brianna goodbye as Brianna runs outside to the neighbor's lawn and shows incoherently.

"Adios, cuz!" Cindy cried as she puts her wallet inside her pockets. "Guess you won't need this in the morning!"

"Come back here!" Brianna shouted as Cindy and Sierra drive away to who know where. "I need that money to buy a limited platinum Teena Sometimes poster!"

Now out of Brianna's sight, Cindy and Sierra head off to what seems to be a train station that is located in the outskirts of town. At the train station, they saw circus tents and equipment being set up and a ticket booth where there's a line. Sierra parks her bike near the fence and she and Cindy get in line.

"Gee, what a line." Sierra muttered as the line grew shorter within minutes. "So why are we here again?"

"To get us and the gang the tickets needed to see the new circus that pulled into town." Cindy replied as she pulls out her iPhone and shows Sierra something.

It was an image of a purple and red circus and in front of it was a very tall and somewhat-aging man who is has long grey hair flowing down to his waistline. He had dark hazel eyes, big heavy eyebrows, and a crooked nose. He wore a black and purple tuxedo and a red shawl wrapped around him and is holding a golden staff with a blood-red crystal ball on top. Above the image were these words,

Jericho's Circus of Terror!

"Gotta admit that was pretty scary." Sierra said to Cindy as the girls are now in front of the line.

Cindy pulls out her wallet. "Yep. I'm planning on cutting first period to watch the opening ceremony tomorrow. Wanna come?"

"No, I rather wait for the opening night which is after tomorrow." Sierra kindly declined. "But since you're cutting first period and I got first period free, maybe I could disguise myself as you so that the teachers won't suspect you skipping school."

Cindy smiled at Sierra's plan as she pays the clerk four tickets. "But you're taller than me. Won't that plan work on Randy since I'm around his height?"

"Yeah, but he doesn't have first period free." Sierra explained. "How will he pull this one off if he doesn't have first period free and the teachers would soon suspect that he's cutting first period as well?"

"Y'know what? You're absolutely right about that." Cindy replied as she and Sierra head off to Sierra's motorcycle and ride off to home. "So we're good with the plan?"

"Yep." Sierra replied. "We put our plan in motion first thing in the morning."

Unbeknownst to them and everyone else in the train station, Jaguar, Jim, Amelia and Tai-Changa flew inside one of the circus trains.

The next morning at the Buttowski residence, Cindy is sleeping soundly in her bedroom. Unbeknownst to her, a shaft of light hits her face, causing Cindy to wake up and saw Hilda and Brianna in her room.

"Time to get up, Cindy." Hilda greeted the usual morning greetings to Cindy. "Today's a great day in this house."

Cindy groans and wraps pillow around her head. She glares at Brianna. "What's so great about this day, mom? It's kinda bad enough that Brianna's living with us for a week."

"Hello! I have a beauty pageant to compete this Saturday, remember?!" Brianna yelled at Cindy.

Cindy pretends to ignore that as she drifts back into sleep. "But it's good enough that Kick's staying as well."

Brianna is obviously pissed off. "Hello! Pay attention to me!"

Hilda just rolls her eyes as she escorts the bratty girl out of Cindy's room. "Give her some privacy, Brianna. She needs to get ready for school."

As Hilda and Brianna are out of the room, Cindy lets out a smirk.

()()()()()

In the kitchen, the entire Buttowski family is having breakfast while watching the morning news. Kick, Brad and Bobby are having a food fight, Lina is reading a book, Brianna is obviously bragging as usual with Honey complementing on her, Harold is opening letters while Cindy and her parents are eating breakfast.

"Up next, is your teenage daughter moody?" The woman on TV said. "Is her outlook on life blacker than her eyeliner?"

Cindy blinks and glances at both her parents and Honey and Harold. Her parents and Harold raised an eyebrow while Honey glares suspiciously at her. Brianna did the same to Cindy, but with a much more sinister look.

"Take an active interest in your child." The woman on TV continued. "Know who her friends are. Learn to recognize a bad influence when it walks in your door."

As Brad proclaim victorious after being Kick and Bobby for a plate of pancakes, the door opens, knocking Brad out cold, revealing Randy who is holding a CD.

"Hey Cindy!" Randy cried. "I got that Lady Gaga CD that you wanted."

Honey and Brianna glared at Randy, despite the latter not knowing them.

"What? Have you heard "My Mom Reeks"? That cut rocks."

Honey and Brianna glared at him even more. Kick and Bobby smirked as they give each other a bro fist.

"Nice one." Kick complimented on Randy.

On TV, a red spiral is shown and a very tall and somewhat-aging man who is has long grey hair flowing down to his waistline. He had dark hazel eyes, big heavy eyebrows, and a crooked nose. He wore a black and purple tuxedo and a red shawl wrapped around him and is holding a golden staff with a blood-red crystal ball on top.

"I … am Jericho, ringmaster of the Circus of Terror, where your nightmares come alive!" the man, Jericho said on TV as a skeleton with a circus afro is shown juggling skulls.

Next up was the clown who looked rather gloomy and scary. He howls with demented laughter as he shows off his sharp teeth. "Circus of Terror, where the clowns never smile."

At last, a heavily pierced woman in an iron mask is show. "Circus of Terror, come and get your freak on, with real freaks."

Jericho is seen again on TV, this time holding his staff. "Circus of Terror! Coming to Norrisville!"

Jericho wields his staff in which the red crystal on his staff glows. "Cross over … to the dark side."

Now Cindy here was also watching the commercial, but now she's in some sort of trance. The color of her eyes changed from aqua blue to glowing red eyes. "Cross over to the dark side."

Hilda however turns off the TV. "Now there's some evil mind pollution that this family won't be seeing anytime soon."

Cindy blinks as she snaps out of her trance, her eyes returning to normal. "What? But we already bought our tickets."

Both Honey and Hilda raised an eyebrow. Cindy exasperated. "We'll be fine. It's just harmless entertainment, right Randy?"

"Yeah." Randy replied nervously as he and Cindy walk out through the door. Kick decided to go outside and do some stunts.

Seconds later, Brad came to his senses and let out a wicked grin. "Cross over to the dark side."

Honey and Harold, plus Hilda and James looked concerned. Brad notices this and lets out a frown.

"I'm just kidding, lighten up!"

Outside the Buttowski residence, Randy and Cindy are standing in front of the house. Randy seems concerned.

"What the juice happened to you back there?" Randy asked Cindy with deep concern.

Cindy rubs her head. "Sorry, must've got a little spacey. I was up a bit late last night to buy the tickets for the four of us to see the Circus of Terror. It's going to be the straight-up cheese!"

"You do realize that Howard went to Hawaii with his family for a few weeks, right?" Randy said.

Cindy smacks her head. "Damn, I forgot!" She looks at the fourth ticket. "What am I supposed to do with the fourth ticket?"

Randy had an idea. "Why not give it to your cousin Kick? I'm sure he would like to see it."

Cindy smirked. "Randy, that's a great idea. I'll give it to him tonight."

Cindy puts the tickets back inside her pockets and proceeds to walk to her left.

"Where are you going? School's this way." Randy asked Cindy as he points right.

"The Circus of Terror pulled into town last night." Cindy smirked confidently. "I'm cutting first period to watch the opening ceremony at the train station."

"Cindy."

"Take it easy. Sierra's got first period free." Cindy smirked again. "She's covering for me."

In the girls' washroom at Norrisville High, Sierra is dressed in Cindy's clothes, finishing the final touches to her Cindy costume. When finished, she looks at herself in the mirror, her Cindy wig shaking a little because of her afro tucked underneath.

"This is so wrong." Sierra said to herself with a smirk as she exits the washroom. "But I dig it."

Cindy then runs off, leaving Randy alone on the sidewalk.

"Don't blame me if you get caught!" Randy yelled at Cindy who is later out of his sight.

Seconds later, Randy sees Jim running past him with a heavy sack of stolen money. Randy lets out a disapproving look as he grabs the ninja mask from his pockets.

"Speaking of getting caught …" He looks up and sees Jaguar, Amelia and Tai-Changa, also carrying sacks of stolen money, flying in the air with Jim catching up to them. "It's ninja time!"

Randy hides behind one of the trash cans, puts the mask on and immediately turns into the ninja. He uses his scarf to get himself up onto the rooftops as he proceeds to chase Jim, Jaguar, Amelia and Tai-Changa. Jim took notice of the ninja chasing after them, and he was pissed off. "Aw biscuits. The ninja's back!"

"Let's lose him!" Jaguar commanded as he and the others fly further away from the ninja.

"NINJA AIR FIST!" The ninja yelled as he uses his air fist to knock a sack out of Jim's hands. "One down, three to go."

Unfortunately for the ninja, the sack of stolen money lands on a police cruiser with a robo-ape as its driver. It caused the cruiser to swerve into a fire hydrant.

"Curse you, ninja!" the robo-ape yelled at the ninja.

"Oh boy." The ninja groaned as he continues to chase Jim, Jaguar, Amelia and Tai-Changa through town.

The culprits phased through a Circus of Terror billboard. The ninja eventually jumps onto the building that the billboard is located and runs to the edge where he did not see Jim, Jaguar, Amelia or Tai-Changa, but the Circus of Terror's equipment and tents already finished being set up by the train station in the outskirts of town. This must be the opening ceremony that Cindy was talking about earlier. Then the ninja saw a huge crowd of teenagers and young adults swarming the place – all of them ranging from goths to punks.

"Great." The ninja grumbled. "The crooks got away, I'm late for school and … I've never seen so many goths out in broad daylight."

In response, the goths open up black umbrellas to hide themselves from the sunlight.

"Well, look who decided to cut first period to watch the opening ceremony." Said a familiar voice.

The ninja looks down to the ground and saw Cindy looking up to him with a smirk on her face. The ninja jumps down and lands beside Cindy. "What? I'm not cutting school."

The sound of metal marching is heard from nearby. A robo-ape is coming.

"Oh yeah, you're an upstanding citizen." Cindy smirked at the ninja. "Need to hide from a robo-ape?"

"No." the ninja replied as he jumps behind a bunch of iron drums and takes off the mask, turning him back into Randy. He and Cindy decided to act natural as a robo-ape goes by.

"Come back here, ninja!" the robo-ape cried as he runs past Randy and Cindy.

With the robo-ape gone, Randy and Cindy join in with the crowd who are now standing by the train. One train car opens with a drop-down ramp and Jericho himself slowly steps out of the shadows. He is a very tall and somewhat-aging man who is has long grey hair flowing down to his waistline. He had dark hazel eyes, big heavy eyebrows, and a crooked nose. He wore a black and purple tuxedo and a red shawl wrapped around him and is holding a golden staff with a blood-red crystal ball on top.

"Hello, fellow outcasts!" Jericho greets the crowd. "I'm Jericho, your master of ceremony! Are you ready to smile, relax, and forget all your troubles amid the pleasant diversions of the circus?"

"NO!" the crowd cried.

Jericho smiled as he walks amid the crowd. "Then you've come to the right place! Prepare to be disturbed and appalled by a small sample of the bizarre and abnormal world of the Circus of Terror! MWA HA HA HA HA!"

Jericho gestures back to the train car. With him inside, an arrow, tied to a rope, launches across from the car and embeds into a pole. A young red-haired girl, no older than 13 emerges, crawling on the rope like an insect, the crowd gasps. A young African-American teenage boy, balancing on a ball, rolls out while juggling swords. An obese Chinese man within an iron, spiked wheel follows, and a young boy in a skeleton suit emerges last. The crowd cheers and Cindy finds her gaze landing on Jericho's staff, becoming hypnotized again. The color of her eyes changed from aqua blue to glowing red eyes again.

"You weren't kidding about this, Cindy." Randy cried in excitement. "This is the straight-up cheese!"

Unbeknownst to the crowd, a rather large crowd of parents and concerned adults have gathered beside them, all of them in protest. In front of them were Honey and Hilda leading the protest, both of them holding a megaphone.

"Parents of Norrisville! We urge you to boycott this morbid assault on the morals of our children!" Hilda yelled over the megaphone.

The crowd of goths and punks booed at the protesters. Randy is panicking inside as he tries nudging Cindy to get her attention. "Cindy, we gotta get out of here. You're mom's gonna freak if she sees us."

But Cindy, still hypnotized by Jericho's staff, didn't respond.

Jericho leaps upon a crate above the crowd. "Now don't let the ranting of the closed-minded norms beat you down, my friends. Show them your true colors! And by colors, I mean all dark and black. Make them see you for who you are!"

"Make them see us for who we are." Cindy said in a trance as her eyes now turned red. She waves her arms as if she wants attention. "Hey everyone! Over here! We're Cindy Buttowski and Randy Cunningham! We cut school and we're proud of it!"

The crowd of goths and punks cheer as Cindy poses proudly. Randy was shocked and a bit embarrassed. A goth boy walks towards the two teens and sprays black paint on Cindy's lavender hoodie and then on Randy's t-shirt and hoodie. "You're one of us now."

Both Honey and Hilda were shocked, though Hilda was shocked the most. "Cindy?"

Randy facepalms.

Later at Norrisville High, Cindy, Randy and their mothers (Honey included) are in Principal Slimovitz's office.

"Now some might call this little act of rebellion a cry for attention, but I like to call it a cry for detention." Principal Slimoviz told the mothers as he chuckles. "Isn't that clever?"

"Nice going, Cindy." Randy angrily whispers to Cindy. "Maybe I should have cried 'Hey! It's the ninja's girlfriend!'"

"Sorry." Cindy apologized as she rubs her head. "I don't know what came over me back there."

However, Randy noticed Hanasaku giving him a frown. "Randy, why would you do such a thing?"

"Honestly, I don't know why I would that." Randy confessed.

"Well next time, think before you act." Hanasaku said in a firm tone as she waves her arms. Unfortunately for her, she had her spell book in one of her hands and she accidentally smacked Honey in the face with the spell book.

"Obviously, the apple doesn't fall very far from the boring, unfeminine, geeky tree." Honey said in anger as she glares at Hanasaku while feeling her bruised face.

Hanasaku was pissed off. "YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH BOOKWORMS?"

"Yes, yes I do." Honey hissed again as she and Hanasaku exchange deathly glares.

Hilda decided to break the two mothers up. "Now ladies, there's no need to fight in front of our kids. What would they say if they saw it?"

Honey and Hanasaku grumbled as they look away from each other, but Honey isn't done yet, so she glares at Cindy while pointing at Randy. "Cindy, I'm no mother but I forbid you from seeing this boy or any of your other troubled friends."

"What?" Cindy cried. "But my friends are perfectly normal!"

Unfortunately for Cindy, Mr. Bannister slams the door open and in walks an embarrassed Sierra in her Cindy outfit, except the wig is in her hands and her strawberry-blonde afro is shown. She lets out a sheepish smile. Principal Slimovitz facepalms.

"This is so wrong."

Later that night at the Circus of Terror fairgrounds, mainly the big top, Jericho is in the center of the ring in the empty circus tent.

"Slaves! Center ring!" Jericho ordered.

The four performers from earlier that day came out from the shadows and approach Jericho. A young red-haired girl, no older than 13 closed her eyes as her skin melts away, revealing Amelia underneath the disguise. She opens her eyes to reveal glowing red eyes. A young African-American teenage boy also closed his eyes as his body starts showing glowing green scars and his juggling outfit dissolves, revealing Jaguar in disguise. His eyes were now glowing red. An obese Chinese man within an iron, spiked wheel closed his eyes and lets his body glow green and when the glow dimmed down, Tai-Changa is in his place, no longer strapped into an iron, spiked wheel. His eyes were glowing red. Lastly, a young boy in a skeleton suit unzips the suit and out came Jim who is sweating like a dog while his eyes glowed red.

"Man, it's hot in this suit." Jim cried. "How much longer are we going to wear the disguises?"

"Silence, Jimmy! There's no complaining in this operation!" Jericho barked at Jim as he raised his staff. "Not as long as you're in my control!"

"Yes master." Jim answered in a trance.

Jericho smirked as he looks at the others. "Now, my great grandfather has been controlling the weak-minded ghosts, no matter how powerful they are, with this staff for years. Untold power and all he could ever think to do with them was to entertain the masses! But I've found a much more profitable use for you minions. Much more than he could ever think of, not that he cared about it anyway."

Amelia brings out a treasure chest and shows Jericho a chest full of stolen goods. Jericho then looks at the red orb that is glowing and shows him the face of another ghost. Cindy Buttowski.

Jericho grins evilly. "As soon as the newest member of our cast joins us, this entire town will be mine for the taking."

The next day at Norrisville High, Randy, Cindy and Sierra are in the detention room. Cindy is holding a Circus of Terror ticket in her hands.

"I wanted to experience something horrific and unimaginable." Cindy said as she sighs. "This isn't what I had in mind."

Cindy, Randy and Sierra watch Mr. Bannister clipping his toenails. Both of them let out a disgusted look. Does Mr. Bannister ever take care of his feet?

"We can always go the circus tomorrow." Randy tries to cheer Cindy up. "That is, assuming we're not grounded and your aunt Honey-"

"Cousin. She's my first cousin once removed."

"Okay, assuming that your cousin Honey let me within 200-feet of you."

Sierra however is reading a book, but really she's watching something from her McFistPad behind the pages. She lets out a smirk. "Guess we'll have to settle for the live web-cast of opening night."

Jericho appears on Sierra's McFistPad. "Creatures of the night, unleash your dark side at the Circus of Terror!"

"Unleash your dark side at the Circus of Terror." Cindy said in a trance as her eyes glowed red again. She got up from her seat and proceeds to walk towards the door in a trance.

Before she could exit, Mr. Bannister jumps in front of Cindy who is still in a trance. "And just where do you think you're going, missy?"

Instead of a direct answer like Mr. Bannister wanted, Cindy's eyes turned blood red. She smiles as she leaps into Mr. Bannister, overshadowing him in the process.

"Unleash your dark side at the Circus of Terror." Mr. Bannister said with Cindy's voice as he walks into the janitor's closet. Few seconds later, Cindy phases out and locks the janitor's closet, locking Mr. Bannister inside.

"WHAT IN BLOODY HELL IS THIS!?" Mr. Bannister screamed as he bangs on the door. "LET ME OUT, LET ME OUT!"

Randy and Sierra are shocked at what Cindy had done to Mr. Bannister, and she used her ghost powers to do so. What seems new to them is that Cindy is floating a feet away from the floor, still in a trance.

"What the juice was that, Cindy?" Randy cried at Cindy with concern. "We're in too much trouble as it is."

Cindy, still in a trance, gives Randy a wicked smirk, her eyes glowing red a little. "No such thing as too much trouble. Unleash your dark side at the Circus of Terror."

And with that, Cindy phases through the ceiling, leaving Randy and Sierra alone in the library. Randy lets out a determined yet concerned look. "We better follow her."

"But won't that mean skipping detention and going to the circus?" Sierra asked Randy with concern.

Randy pulls out his ninja mask. "Yeah, but it's the irony of this chapter."

He puts on the mask and turns into the ninja. Then he grabs Sierra by the arm and they run out of the library, not noticing Mr. Bannister being locked up inside the janitor's closet.

The day is at dusk and at the Circus of Terror fairgrounds, mainly the big top, Jericho is in the center of the ring in a tent full of thrilling audiences. The audience cheered as the spotlight shines on Jericho.

"Please welcome a performer who puts the death in death-defying acts." Jericho announced as he gestures to the high wire where the spotlight shines on a hooded figure wielding a scythe. "The Grim Reaper herself!"

The performer glides across the wire, causing gasps of shock. She then balances on the blade, gratefully thankful that the blade did not cut her hand. The audience cheers at her stunt.

Outside the big top, Sierra and the ninja are standing near the Cast Only entrance.

"To cover more ground and find Cindy faster, we need to split up." The ninja said to Sierra.

"Right." Sierra said as she proceeds to leave. "You go that way and I'll go this way."

The ninja nodded as he enters the Cast Only entrance while Sierra leaves to a different path. Inside the tent, the ninja could see hundreds of torture devices and much more gruesome props. What kind of circus is the Circus of Terror?

I gotta find Cindy. The ninja thought as he searches through his surroundings. While looking, he saw four people that he'd never expect to see in the big top.

Jaguar, Amelia, Jim and Tai-Changa flying inside and throwing sacks of stolen goods onto the ground, and then going back outside. What are they doing here at this time of hour? Do they somehow have connections with Jericho and his circus? Before the ninja could think of anything else, he heard footsteps coming closer, Jericho's footsteps. Panicking, the ninja hid behind one of the torture devices and takes off his mask, turning back into Randy. He got out of hiding, right before Jericho enters the scene. When Jericho arrived, he was confused and a bit annoyed to see Randy inside the Cast Only part of the big top.

"What are you doing back here?" Jericho asked Randy.

Jericho. This is so cool. Randy thought excitedly. Focus on why you are here, Cunningham. This is no time for games.

"Uhm …." Randy tries to answer Jericho's question. "I'm looking for a friend of mine who's acting kinda weird and all."

Jericho smiled. "Oh, that narrows it down to, oh, everyone in this tent!"

Randy watches Jericho laugh at his own reaction when all of a sudden, the hooded performer with a scythe approaches. Jericho became annoyed at her presence. "What are you doing, nitwit? Get back out there and do your encore!"

Instead of answering Jericho, the performer pulls back her hood and, much to Randy's surprise, she is revealed to be Cindy who is no longer in a trance and her eyes returned to normal.

"Randy?" Cindy asked.

"What's that? Was that free will?" Jericho cried in anger as he held his staff higher. "Obey me, ghost girl!"

Much to Randy's horror, Cindy returns to being in a trance as her eyes glowed red again. So Jericho's the one controlling Cindy all along. "You're controlling her?"

Jericho looks at the hypnotized Cindy. "Get him."

Cindy did as she was told as she shoots out a ghost ray at Randy which knocks him unconscious. With Randy unconscious, Cindy drags him away with Jericho following her.

Meanwhile, among the massive audiences, Kick and Bobby are watching the show while talking to one another.

"So how's life been in Mellowbrook?" Bobby asked Kick.

"The usual. Doing stunts, hanging out with my friends, etc." Kick replied. "What about you? How's life been doing in here?"

"Pretty cool. Weird, but still cool." Bobby noticed Kick feeling uncomfortable. "What's wrong? Don't you like the Circus of Terror?"

"Oh it's not that, Bobby. Have you ever noticed that some of our family members are starting to disappear without a trance?"

"Kinda. But I wouldn't worry about it. We're ghosts, remember."

"I don't know. Something is wrong, I can feel it."

Bobby spots Jericho in the center ring as the spotlight shines on the ringmaster. "Oh, Jericho's about to start with the next act!"

"Please welcome a brand new vic-talent to the high wire in his first and final performance." Jericho announced as he gestures to the high wire where the spotlight shines on what looks like a teenage boy being perched precariously on the wire with a blindfold on and is tied up in ropes. It took Bobby a few seconds to realize who the blindfolded person is. Randy Cunningham.

"Is that Randy on the high wire?" Bobby asked. "That is so cool."

Kick seems concerned as he looks at what Bobby is looking at. "I don't think this is cool. Someone with no experience on the high wire could seriously get hurt."

Behind the blindfolded Randy, Cindy, still hypnotized, uses the scythe to slice Randy's blindfold off. Randy blinks once before looking down. The high height almost made Randy lose his balance.

Somewhere in the big top, Sierra runs in from the entrance and stood outside the center ring where she saw Randy perching on the high wire whilst being tied up. "Randy?"

"Cindy, listen, you don't want to do this!" Randy tries to warn Cindy as he tries to struggle free from the ropes. "You're being controlled!"

But all Cindy did was raise her scythe and at a high speed cuts the wire with an evil laugh, causing the bounded Randy to fall. Fortunately for Randy, Cindy breaks out of her trance, her eyes returned to normal, and leaps down to catch a falling Randy before he hits the ground. The crowd cheers as Cindy and Randy landed in the center ring, Randy now free from the ropes that were let loose upon falling earlier. Cindy clutches her head in pain.

"Cindy, don't scare me like that." Randy said to Cindy.

In respond, Cindy's eyes turned red, being controlled yet again. "How should I scare you?"

Cindy backs off as Jericho angrily approaches Randy. He gives Randy a glare.

"Consider that a warning, m'boy." Jericho warned Randy as he walks off with the hypnotized Cindy following him.

Randy just stood there, not sure what to do next when Sierra ran up to him, looking worried.

"Randy, you nearly gave me a heart-attack." Sierra told Randy. "Can we take some time off from enjoying the circus and actually look for Cindy?"

"That was Cindy, under the hood." Randy replied. "Jericho's controlling her with some kind of crystal ball!"

Randy and Sierra proceed to run out of the big top. Randy lets out a very determined look. "We gotta find something to save Cindy."

Unfortunately for Randy and Sierra, they run right into a mob of parents, still being led by Hilda and Honey. Hilda and Honey are surprised.

"Shouldn't you kids be in detention?" Honey questions Randy and Sierra with a suspicious glare.

"Uhm ..." Sierra tries to come up with an answer. "Mr. Bannister let us out?"

()()()()()

At Norrisville High ...

"LET ME OUT!" Mr. Bannister cried from the janitor's closet.

()()()()()

"Say," Hilda began to speak. "Isn't Cindy supposed to be with you kids?"

"Not according to this restraining order she's not." Honey corrected Hilda as she shows her the restraining order.

"Well she's not here and she's not a school." Hilda grew worried. "So where is she?"

Somewhere in downtown Norrisville, the museum alarm goes off as Jaguar, Amelia, Jim and Tai-Change phased out through the building, each carrying various paintings. Cindy also phases out through the building, decked in royal jewelry. Her outfit seems different - instead of her usual outfit, Cindy wore a black tank top, black leggings, a skull belt, a pair of black leather combat boots, a black headband and a black armband on her left arm. Cindy didn't know it but for the first time in since 3 years ago she is flying like a true ghost.

"Ecto-asses in gear, shoobs!" Cindy yelled as she fires ecto blasts at the asses of Jim, Amelia, Jaguar and Tai-Changa, causing the four of them to cry out in pain as they fly off. She follows. "The party's just getting started!"

As Cindy and the other four fly off with the stolen goods, police cars started to chase them. Cindy was annoyed, but had a wicked grin on her face.

"Oh please!" Cindy fires her ecto blasts at every single police cars, causing them to form a collision on the streets as Cindy and the other four ghosts make their escape.

TV News ...

"In the wake of parental protest, Circus of Terror ringmaster Jericho had this challenge to his critics." the news reporter said as a video of Jericho pops up.

"I invite to you to attend a free performance for parents, police and concerned authority figure." Jericho said to the angry mob. "See the show and see for yourself that we're harmless entertainment."

The video disappears and went back to the reporter. "In other news, police got a break in in the recent rash of mysterious burglaries as security cam footage revealed the ghostly culprits."

A video footage pops up as it shows footage of Jim, Amelia, Jaguar, Tai-Changa and Cindy stealing money. Cindy sees the camera and blasts it. The footage disappears and went back to the reporter as it shows the viewers a picture of Mr. Bannister with 'Missing' at the bottom of the picture.

"And finally, have you seen this tough-as-nails teacher? He was last sighted in the Norrisville High school library."

The TV is switched off from Randy's room as Randy is sitting on the chair near his computer where it then shows Sierra on screen.

"Randy, did you catch the news? We gotta do something to save Cindy!" Sierra cried at Randy from the computer screen.

"How ironic is it that we're stuck under house arrest while our parents go to a free Circus of Terror show?" Randy replied in frustration.

"Only slightly less ironic that maybe Cindy's mom and her first cousin were right about it being evil."

Randy pulls out his mask. "Looks like we're on our own for this. Meet me at the train station in 30 minutes. Got an escape plan?"

"Already got one." Sierra replied as she shows Randy a rope of bed sheets tied together from the computer. "Why would you ask me that?"

"Mom conjured up a spell from one of her spell books to summon a dragon to make sure I don't escape house arrest." Randy explained.

Outside Randy's room, a green Japanese dragon is guarding the door. He is seen playing solitaire.

()()()()()

"What about you?" Randy asked Sierra. "What did your mom do to make sure you don't escape house arrest?"

"Despite the divorce, she got Dad to secure my house, with help from his red ninja goons." Sierra replied. "Lucky for me, they're idiots."

Then the computer screen went off as Randy creates a dummy version of himself. When finished, he puts the decoy under the blankets, puts the mask on and goes ninja. He sprints out through the window and landed on a tree branch. When the coast is clear, the ninja continues on sprinting to his destination - the train station.

Inside the Circus of Terror big top, almost the entire population of Norrisville are sitting and waiting for the show to start. The entire Buttowski family, except Cindy, was one of the audiences. Honey is seen writing something on her clipboard.

"I'm keeping a detailed list of anything I find crude, obnoxious and out-of-place."

Not paying attention to what was going on, Honey didn't notice Bobby eating popcorn and drinking soda in a crude manner until he accidentally spits some all over her and Brianna. Both women are annoyed and disgusted by Bobby's manners.

"Ack! My hair is ruined!" Brianna cried like a spoiled brat. "Is Bobby on the list, mom?"

"Right now, he is the list." Honey replied angrily while glaring at Bobby.

Meanwhile at the Circus of Terror fairgrounds, mainly the train station, the ninja snoops around to find something until he spots a red glow coming from the train's caboose. As he was about to find a way to sneak in, a shadow emerges and falls on him. The ninja gasped and hides under the caboose.

"Ninja?" a feminine voice cried. It sounded like Sierra.

"Sierra?" the ninja asked as he gets out of hiding and saw Sierra standing in front of him. "I thought you were Jericho for a second."

"I didn't know I would scare you like that." Sierra apologized. "Shouldn't have sneak up on you like that."

"It's cool."

The ninja and Sierra jump on the train and go in through the top hatch in the caboose. The ninja jumps down gracefully and quietly, followed by a loud, screaming Sierra falling flat on her face. Sierra lets out a sheepish smile. "Sorry."

The ninja help Sierra up and they both look at their surroundings. Piles of gold, money, jewelry, painting and all sorts of stolen goods are stored in the caboose.

"Ninja, do you think that maybe Jericho's the one behind all those ghostly burglaries?" Sierra asked the ninja.

The ninja, somehow, agrees. "Jericho must've used his staff to control Cindy and the four other ghosts I encountered earlier. He somehow got them to do all the evil things he wanted them to do against their own free will."

"Now if I were Jericho's staff, where would I be stashed to?"

The ninja and Sierra look around and at the center of the pile, they saw Jericho's staff.

"There it is!" the ninja cried as he and Sierra tried to make a grab for it. "Let's grab it and—"

Suddenly, the ninja and Sierra are blasted out of the caboose and they landed on the railroad. They saw Cindy, still hypnotized, flying out of the caboose with Jericho, smiling so sinister, following her. The train whistle sounds as the train pulls away from the ninja and Sierra. The ninja and Sierra proceed to chase after the train.

"Cindy! No!" the ninja cried.

Jericho lets out an evil sneer towards the ninja and Sierra. "Yes, please scream. It's a shame that anyone who might help you is too busy enjoying my free show. HAAAH!"

Back at the big top, Tai-Changa phases through the top where the audience stare at him with either shocked or surprised looks on their faces. Then, Tai-Changa started to chant and before anyone knew it, Tai-Changa had chanted a summoning spell. He had summoned a horde of evil spirits to terrorize the audience. The ones who are aware of Tai-Changa's motivations are Kick, Bobby and, surprisingly, Hanasaku.

"Tai-Changa!" Kick and Bobby cried.

"Demons!" Hanasaku cried as she pulls out her spell book.

Honey and Harold ran away from the crowd and made it to the exit. Harold pulls back the tent flaps in an attempt to leave, but come against a brick wall. "We're trapped!"

Honey then writes something on her clipboard. "Okay, that's crude, obnoxious and out-of-place."

Outside, the ninja and Sierra look down upon the train from an overpass.

"We have to jump." The ninja told Sierra.

Sierra was shocked. "What? I can't jump in this height."

"And I can't abandon Cindy."

The ninja and Sierra hold hands as they jump together on the train. They landed on the train safely, but they fall on their stomachs.

"Plus, we'll never hear the end of it if Cindy's folks learn they're right about Jericho being evil."

()()()()()

Back at the big top, the evil spirits continue to terrorize the audience. Kick and Bobby tried to get Tai-Changa to his senses, but to no avail. That only left Hanasaku to deal with both the evil spirits and Tai-Changa alone.

"Stand back, everyone!" Hanasaku cried as she opens up her spell book and begins chanting out a spell.

The audience watch as the book glows and aimed its golden beams at every single evil spirit in the tent, vaporizing them. Tai-Changa was about to scream when somehow, his glowing red eyes disappear and his eyes returned to normal, after the glow did an impact on him. He blinks a few times before kneeling on the ground after receiving a bad headache. Bobby and Kick rush to Tai-Changa's side while Hanasaku walks up to Honey and Harold.

"I ask you once again." Hanasaku spoke politely. "YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH BOOKWORMS?!"

Honey and Harold grin nervously and hold their hands up.

Back at the train, the ninja and Sierra run along the train cars towards the front.

Inside, Jericho is counting his money with Jim, Amelia, Jaguar and Cindy circling him. Then, they heard footsteps – the ones that belong to the ninja and Sierra.

"What are you waiting for?" Jericho demanded Jim, Amelia, Jaguar and Cindy. "GO!"

Jaguar, Amelia and Jim phase up in front of the ninja and Sierra. The ninja and Sierra were about to make a run for it to the back, but Cindy phases up behind him. The ninja and Sierra are surrounded.

"Cindy, it's us, ninja and Sierra!" the ninja tried to talk some sense into Cindy. "Your best friends, remember?"

Cindy, with evil red eyes, stares at the ninja and Sierra for what seems to be a complete 10 seconds. Then, Cindy blinks, her eyes returned to normal. "Ninja? Sierra? I … I…"

The ninja and Sierra smile hopefully. Cindy is returning to normal.

"I …" Cindy tries to speak but her eyes turned red, being controlled yet again. "… am a ghost. I have no friends."

So close. It seems that Jericho had gotten Cindy back under his control by standing behind Jim, Amelia and Jaguar. The ninja and Sierra gasped upon seeing him.

"Don't waste your breath, children." Jericho warned the ninja and Sierra. "She's under my control now."

()()()()()

Back at the big top, the audience congratulates Hanasaku for saving them from Tai-Changa's evil spirits. Even Tai-Changa thanked Hanasaku for freeing him from what seems to be a terrible nightmare.

"We owe you a debt of gratitude." Honey thanked Hanasaku. "And an apology."

"No time." Hanasaku replied. "We need to bust out of this tent."

"Leave it to me." Tai-Changa suggested as he blasted a huge hole on the brick wall with his ecto-blasts. The crowd cheers as they make a run for it.

Back at the top of the train, the ninja and Sierra have to fight against Jim, Amelia, Jaguar, Jericho and Cindy.

"Don't just stand there!" Jericho yelled at Jim, Amelia, Jaguar and Cindy. "Finish them!"

The train approaches some scaffolding. This gives Sierra an idea.

"Maybe you should try holding that thing a little higher." Sierra suggested.

Jericho takes Sierra's advice and raises his staff, but it got knocked out of his grasp as the train passes under the scaffolding. Sierra makes a grab for the staff, but misses and it lands in Cindy's hands. Both the ninja and Sierra are relieved.

"Way to go, Cindy! Sierra cried as she walks up to Cindy and raises her hand. "High five!"

Cindy did what Sierra said, but she knocks Sierra away with a ghostly blast. Sierra takes a step backwards and is grabbed by Jaguar and Jim. Sierra gulped. Jericho is very pleased.

"Very good, doll." Jericho praised Cindy. "Now, bring me my staff."

Cindy looks uncertainly at the staff. This was the ninja's cue to knock some sense into her.

"Fight it, Cindy!" The ninja cried. "Jericho's not holding the staff anymore, you are!"

Jericho grabs the ninja and throws him aside, causing him to nearly fall off of the train. "Silence!"

Jericho looks at Cindy again. "Obey me, ghost girl! Give me my staff."

Cindy looks uncertain again.

"I saw you up on that high wire, you were fighting him the whole time!" the ninja cried at Cindy again. "Fight him now, Cindy! You're not just a ghost! Fight him!"

Cindy groans as she holds her head. "Quiet! All of you! I need to think!"

"Stop him!" Jericho yelled at Amelia. "Now!"

Unbeknownst to them, the train crosses onto a bridge, with a huge gorge below. The ninja is still determined to free Cindy from Jericho's spell.

"Well, it's the staff or your friends, Cindy, your choice!" The ninja backs away from Amelia who is approaching him. The ninja accidentally backs off the train and falls. "I didn't mean that to be so literal!"

Sierra watched in horror as the ninja falls to the gorge below, screaming in the process. "Ninja! No!"

"Ninja?" Cindy asked herself. Her eyes widen in fear as she realized that the ninja is falling. "Randy!"

Cindy jumps after the ninja, not realizing that she is flying. She lets go of Jericho's staff as she races after the ninja. She catches him just in time, but the ninja was unconscious, and brings him back up while Jericho's staff smashes on the ground below, breaking the spell at last. While in the air, Cindy's eyes finally returned to normal. At the same time, the ninja regained consciousness and noticed that Cindy is free from Jericho's spell.

"Cindy, are you okay?" the ninja asked Cindy.

"I … I think so." Cindy replied. "It's all a blur. I did something bad, didn't I?"

"Nothing you can't fix." So everything's back to normal … or is it? The ninja had noticed that Cindy is flying. "You do realize you're flying, right?"

Cindy looks at herself. The ninja was right, she is flying. She lets out a sinking feeling due to fact that she's unable to fly since three years ago.

"I just realized something" Cindy spoke as she and the ninja began to fall again. "I CAN'T FLY!"

Before either one of them makes it to the ground, the ninja uses his scarf to grab the bridge while at the same time grabs Cindy to safety. They swing up toward the train where they landed on top of one of the train cars and saw Sierra still being held hostage by Jim and Jaguar.

"Uh ... can you guys convince those guys to let go of me?" Sierra asked the ninja and Cindy as she is referring to Jaguar and Jim. "Feels kinda weird after a few minutes."

Before the ninja and Cindy could make a move, Jim and Jaguar's glowing red eyes disappear and their eyes returned to normal. Amelia's eyes did the same as well as all three of them blink once and look at their surroundings. They're also free from Jericho's spell at last.

"H-huh?" Amelia was the first to speak. "Where are we?"

"Are we free?" Jim asked hopefully. "Finally free?"

Cindy eyed Jericho with an evil smirk. "Only one way to find out."

Jericho looks frightened. The ghosts that he once had complete control over had finally turned on him. Jericho closes his eyes as Jim, Jaguar, Amelia and Cindy gang up on the aging ringmaster, grab him and they all phase into the train. Inside the train, Jericho is shaking in fear and surprise when he saw Cindy, Jim, Jaguar and Amelia standing in front of them, like a gang. All Jericho did was brush it aside and look at them with a sneer, looking like he's trying to be brave.

"So I no longer have control of you, huh? What are you going to do to an aging ringmaster like me?"

"Well, you wanted a big haul right?" Cindy asked Jericho as she blasted the sacks full of gold and money above Jericho, causing them to fall on him. "Try this on for size!"

Jericho groaned from underneath the pile of sacks. "Oh that's smart."

The train finally pulls to a stop in front of dozens of police cruisers that have blocked the track. This was the ninja's cue to smoke-bomb out of here and turn back into Randy without anyone noticing it. The door of the caboose got kicked open where Cindy, Jim, Jaguar, Amelia and Jericho saw James and a few policemen approaching inside. Cindy is panicking from the inside.

"It's not what it looks like, dad." Cindy tries to explain the whole situation. "We were-"

"Being controlled by an evil ringmaster to do bad things against your own will? I know." James replied calmly as he points at a sheepish Jericho. "We're just here to arrest that guy for being the mastermind behind all those ghostly burglaries."

A couple of policemen pulled Jericho out of a pile of sacks and hauled him away to a police cruiser. James, Cindy, Jim, Jaguar, Amelia, Randy and Sierra were reunited with Hilda, Honey, Brianna, Kick, Bobby, Hanasaku and Tai-Changa who is somehow relieved that Jim, Jaguar and Amelia are alright.

"Well, we better get going." Amelia told everyone as she, Jim, Jaguar and Tai-Changa fly off to parts unknown.

"Take care, cousins." Kick bid farewell.

"Nice work, kids." Hanasaku congratulates Randy, Cindy and Sierra. "You caught that criminal red-handed."

"I'm just happy that you're all safe." Honey cried.

"More than safe, they're heroes." James replied.

"We're so proud of you." Hilda spoke kindly.

At the Buttowski residence …

"BUT YOU'RE ALL STILL GROUNDED!" Hilda, Honey, and Hanasaku yelled at Randy, Cindy and Sierra who are all in the library, being forced to study.

"Grounded, shmounded!" Bobby cried as he points as Cindy. "This is cruel and unusual punishment!"

To prove Bobby's point, Cindy is seen wearing girly clothes that girly girls like Brianna would wear – pink blouse, a pair of jeans and pink boots. "I know, but it was the only way I could convince Honey to lift her restraining order on Randy."

"Well at least Jericho's in custody and all the stolen goods are returned to their rightful place." Randy added.

"Yep." Sierra said. "Everything's back to normal."

Sierra blinks once. There's something in her mind that won't leave her alone. What could it be?

"Guys." Sierra said. "Do you have a feeling that we're forgetting something?"

Randy and Cindy look at each other before shrugging.

"Well whatever it is that we forgot, it's long gone by now." Randy said to Sierra.

Extra Scene:

Back at Norrisville High, Mr. Bannister is still locked up in the janitor's closet.

"For the love of Christ, is anybody out there?!" Mr. Bannister cried. "This is so wrong!"

Just as things couldn't get any worse, the janitor opens the door and pushes mop in before locking Mr. Bannister up again. "See ya Monday."

With the janitor gone and him being locked up again, Mr. Bannister jumps on the door and tries to pull it open, and then continues banging on it.
