I hope you enjoy this chapter!
Previously: All five us were immediately taken downstairs into a basement and bound to chairs. I thought it was odd that they had exactly five chairs. Were they following us? Were they working for the Strigoi?
Mason and Shane were both still unconscious and Eddie was a little loopy. Christian was cooperating as much as he could, same with me. We didn't need to give them an excuse to injure us further. We all needed our strength if we were going to get out of here alive.
I remember when I was five, I had almost been taken by one of Abe's enemies. Pavel and Mack both sat me down and told me that the moment I was bound just to cooperate until I was in a position to fight. I would only fight when I knew that I could get out and I had a shot. That lesson had stuck with me and had gotten me out of more situations than I could count. It would get me out of this one. It had to.
"Not a peep!" the ring leader hissed after we were all bound to the chairs. "The boss will be down soon."
"Figures we would get caught," Christian said softly. I could barely hear him. "You think they are working for Strigoi?"
I went to respond when the door opened and a slow clap started. "Well, look at the little Moroi! Guess he is smart! And I thought the blood whore was the one who was the brains," a Strigoi with black hair said as he looked at all of us. "Let me guess, you must be an Ozera!"
"What do you want?" I hissed out to the Strigoi standing in front of us.
"Now, now, dear," the Strigoi taunted. "Where are our manners? We haven't been properly introduced!"
"Fuck you asshole!" I snapped.
"Now, now Rosemarie," the Strigoi said to me. "Is that anyway to treat me?"
I gasped. How did he know my name? "How? How do you know my name?"
"I know many things about you," he came to stand in front of me. He was taunting me, he just wanted to get a rise out of me.
"Like what?" I hissed, glaring at him. I needed a plan to get us out of here, but Mason and Shane were still unconscious. Until the two of them were conscious, we wouldn't be able to get out of here. We needed them awake and abled body to get their own asses out of here.
The Strigoi leaned forward and brushed his nose up my neck. My heart rate skyrocketed and unfortunately I wanted him to bite me. I wanted the rush of endorphins that it was going to offer me. I didn't think I would miss the bite from Lissa, but I did. And in this moment I felt ashamed and desperate. I craved the bite. I felt almost wantonly, waiting for him to bite me. Waiting for him to drink from me. My head turned giving him more access to my throat, my heart racing as my body longed for it.
I bit my lip to stop the moan from escaping from my mouth, but unfortunately it did.
"I know that you want to be bitten right now," I felt his hot breath on my neck as his nose skimmed the column of my throat.
"No," I stuttered out. I desperately wished my voice sounded stronger, but more than that, I wished that he was wrong.
"I know you are lying," the Strigoi whispered out. "I also know that you would do anything to protect your best friend Vasilisa."
"What do you want from us?" I snapped out the moment he backed away from me. Focus, Rose.
"Straight to the point," the Strigoi said shaking his head. "No, hello Isaiah, how are you? Would you like something to drink?"
"You sick bastard!" I shrieked. "Just tell us what you want!"
I was pissed that he had made me look like a desperate blood whore in front of Shane and Mason. Not to mention, Eddie and Christian. I hated that he was right, and that I did want to be bitten. The feeling of longing deep with me and he just proved to himself that I did want it.
"I would love for all of you to be dead, but unfortunately that can't happen yet," Isaiah said, shrugging his shoulder.
"I am done with the bullshit!" I grumbled. "Just tell us."
"I want the awaken the Ozera," Isaiah grinned at me. "And then have him kill all of you, but perhaps not you Rosemarie."
"Fuck you!" Christian hissed.
"What do you want from me?" I glared at Isaiah, ignoring Christian. I shuddered as I saw the slow cruel smile cross his face. I knew his plans are going to be dark and cruel, but I didn't know how cruel.
"Perhaps I will keep you as my blood whore for a while," Isaiah told me. I shuddered at the implication. My stomach churning at the thought of what he wanted to do to me. I didn't realize that Strigoi might fancy blood whores as well.
"Over my dead body!"
"That can be arranged dear," he grinned at me again, but this time much more sadistically than before. "Perhaps a few hours without food or water or blood will change your mind."
"Nothing is going to change our minds," I growled.
Isaiah ignored me looking around the room, probably sizing us up. I wondered what he saw, a bunch of Novices in over their heads? Dhampirs who didn't really understand the world? A Moroi being protected by friends? A group of high schoolers who got themselves into a bad situation? His next meal? A blood whore? What did he see when he looked at us?
"Mr. Ozera," Isaiah began after surveying the room.
"I refuse to turn!" Christian interrupted. Isaiah walked towards him. "I won't do it!"
"Hmmmm, Lucas and Moria's boy?" Isaiah questioned Christian. I saw the color leave his face. "I helped turn them, they always wanted you to join them. Such a pity your parents were lost at such a young age."
"Fuck you!" Christian yelled at Isaiah.
"Oh, you have fire! I hope you turn willingly," Isaiah grinned. "Now before I go, I feel a little thirsty."
Isaiah walked toward Shane who was coming out of unconsciousness from the blow to the head. Isaiah titled his head back and bit into Shane's neck. My eyes were drawn to them. I watched as Shane became loopy from the endorphins. I could feel myself longing for the bite. The shame I felt earlier was returning and I just wanted to get us out of here.
"I will be back," Isaiah told us after he released Shane. "Think about your options."
"What are we going to do?" Eddie asked after a few minutes.
"Shut up!" One of the humans from earlier said as he came in the room.
I leaned my head back against the wall, closing my eyes. I am hoping that I can get a hold of Adrian. He could send messages to the others. And maybe we could come up with a plan.
"You are coming to St. Vlads?" I exclaimed as Dimitri told me the news.
"Yes, I am," Dimitri grinned at me. "Abe has about fifty Guardians on loan because you go there, and he's putting me over there too."
I squealed and jumped on top of him, I was so excited. We were currently sitting on my bed in Russia. Spring break was coming to a close. I was really worried about how I was going to be able to go back to St. Vlads now that Dimitri and I had sex. It seemed like we were so much closer now, and that our relationship had gone to another level. It was difficult for me to be away from him when he just went home for the night, I wasn't sure how I was going to spend months away from him at a time when I was at school. But now, he was coming to St. Vlads.
"I am so excited!" I giggled as I hugged him. More tackled him actually. The two of us fall down onto my bed so I was laying on top of him slightly. I loved being close to him. Dimitri always made me feel so safe and loved.
"I thought you would be," Dimitri grinned at me. "I'm going to be mentoring you when we are there too."
"Really?" I asked him excited. All last summer Dimitri had been teaching me how to fight, because of that I went in to my freshmen year at the top of my class. But now I wasn't being challenged like I should be.
"Yeah, we can train in the mornings and the afternoon," he smiled at me. "Guardian Petrov told me she will make sure it happens."
"Does this also mean I can spend a few nights with you?" I asked him looking up at him from beneath my lashes.
"Oh milaya," Dimitri moaned out. "I really hope you do."
"You know, we are all alone today," I told him as I leaned my chest against his.
Dimitri coughed as he looked at me, his hands settling on my hips. "Are we? I didn't realize that." That was such a lie, he totally knew that we were going to be all alone today, Dimitri wasn't an idiot, and his unassuming act was just a little overdone.
"We are," I bit my lip and smiled shyly at him. "Dad is gone, he's at a business meeting until tomorrow. Which means . . ."
"That Pavel and about fifteen Guardians are with them," Dimitri continued.
"Uh huh, and its Friday," I pushed him down on my bed so I was hovering over him.
"So the majority of Guardians not on duty are training and getting ready for the weekly evaluation tomorrow," Dimitri groaned as I straddled his lap. I could feel his cock hardening. He so knew that we were alone, and he was getting exited at the prospect of what would happened
"Exactly," I leant down and kissed his lips softly. "You were scheduled to Guard me."
"Yes," Dimitri leaned up and captured my lips in his.
"The rest of the Guardians are patrolling the grounds," I told him, my lips resting against his. "So that means?"
"We are all alone," Dimitri responded his hands moving from my hips to cup my butt.
"Until tomorrow morning," I grinned and lightly rubbed myself on the growing bulge below me. Dimitri growled as I moved against him.
Within seconds Dimitri had flipped me and was hovering above me.
"Awe fuck!" I groaned as the chair I was sitting in was kicked.
"Oops!'" Isaiah sneered at me. "Elena, isn't she a pretty little thing?"
I noticed then that there was a female Strigoi in the room too. From what I gathered she was Elena. And she did not look happy to see me.
"I guess so," Elena flipped her hair out of her face. I could see she was green with envy because Isaiah called me pretty. Not to mention royally pissed at me because of it. Not my fault that Isaiah thought I was pretty, bitch.
"Look bitch," I said to Elena. "I just want to get the fuck out of here. So don't give me your bitchy ass attitude."
"You are just a little blood whore," Elena hissed at me. "Your fate is going to be worse than death."
I sneered at her.
Probably not the wisest thing to do because I didn't even see her hand raise to strike me. I got backhanded. Ouch! That hurt like a bitch. But I was hoping that someone would release some information on the house and how many Strigoi there were.
"Tisk tisk, Elena," Isaiah scolded. "I don't want to ruin her pretty little face."
Elena glared at me but didn't do anything else.
"Bitch," I mumbled. But thankfully this time both Elena and Isaiah ignored me.
"Now, have you had a chance to think about my proposal?" Isaiah turned toward Christian.
"Not happening!" Christian hissed out. I could see that Christian was more than just pissed, he was hurt. Christian spent a lot of time trying to distance himself from what happened with his parents. The fact that a Strigoi wanted him to follow in his parents footsteps, upset him greatly. Christian didn't want to be like that.
"Oh trust me it will," Isaiah grinned sadistically at Christian. "After all you are going to crave blood soon, and all you need to do is pick one of the dhampirs. Just try to stay away from the girl, I want her. But if you must, you must."
"Not going to happen!" Christian exclaimed. "People are looking for us! I am a royal, they will find us!"
"I am afraid they won't," Isaiah sighed softly with fake sympathy. "You see, there was a Guardian scouting party here a few days ago."
"So?" I mumbled. My face hurt from Elena's hit, but he was giving us information. And frankly, we needed to get all the information we could.
"So," Isaiah dragged the word out. "They deemed Spokane Strigoi free! They won't know where you are."
I shook my head knowing that wasn't true. Isaiah just wanted to scare us. And from the look on Christian's and Eddie's faces he was succeeding. Shane was super out of it from the bite still and Mason was sitting next to me so I couldn't see his face
"We will get out of here," Mason said. It was the first time I heard him speak since the stand off. I hope his head was okay.
"I would like to see you try," Isaiah laughed. "Elena, don't you think he looks good enough to eat?"
"Among other things," Elena moaned out. Uh oh looks like someone was trying to make the other jealous. It was obvious to a woman that Elena didn't want Mason but she was trying to get Isaiah worked up. She was still pissed that Isaiah called me pretty. Too bad for her, Isaiah didn't seem to care. Elena looked to be a relationship of convince for him, he didn't really care about her.
"I seem to be a little thirsty," Isaiah speculated. "I think I need another fix."
Isaiah went over to Shane and sunk his teeth into Shane's neck. I again was faced with a feel of longing. I craved the bite in away that I didn't know was possible. My eyes focused on Isaiah's mouth as it was attached to Shane's neck, like he knew I was watching Isaiah looked up at me making eye contact the entire time he drank. It looked almost like a weird flirting exercise, maybe to Strigoi it was. His eyes never left me, as I watched him drink. My body craving the drug induced high that came from the bite.
"Tasty," Isaiah said as he pulled back. Shane's face totally blissed out.
"Come now, Isaiah," Elena said. "I want to go have some fun before we go looking for more humans."
"Don't do anything rash," Isaiah said to us as the two of them left the room.
"Guess no one is coming after us," Mason groaned.
"We have to be able to find away out of here," I said softly.
"Ugh," Eddie groaned. "Think they will allow me to go pee?"
"I guess you can ask the humans when they get back," I said shrugging the best I could.
Actually it would be good if they did. We would be able to find out a little bit about where we were being held.
I needed to find a way to get out of these zip ties. It would be easier if they were handcuffs, Guardian training taught you how to get out of handcuffs. I could have easily gotten out of them, but zip ties were almost impossible to get out of.
"We need a plan," Christian said softly. "And fast."
"I know," I told him. "Already on it, Adrian!"
"Brilliant!" Christian said to me as he and Eddie realized as what I meant.
"What?" Mason looked confused.
"Just, do what you are told okay?" I said to Mason. "I will figure something out."
"Okay," Mason nodded as the humans walked in.
"Hey man!" Eddie exclaimed to the humans.
"Shut the fuck up!" One of the humans shouted coming toward Eddie.
"I got to take a piss! Is that allowed?" Eddie asked ignoring the yelling.
"Fine! But you need to wait a minute," the human turned to the other one lowering his voice. "Call for back up, I will take him to the bathroom when they get here."
The other nodded and swiftly stepped outside. With in a couple minutes two more humans were inside the room.
"Finally!" Eddie exclaimed. "I am going to burst!"
The first one undid some of Eddie's bonds and roughly pulled him toward the bathroom. I noticed that there was a gun pressed to Eddie's back.
A few minutes later Eddie returned and was rebound to the chair.
"Thank god," Eddie said after a few minutes. "I feel so much better."
"Shut it!" One of the humans said.
"Hey, how long have we been here?" I asked them I needed to know if they had started looking for us yet. I wanted to be able to sleep when Adrian would try to Dreamwalk. It wouldn't be helpful to be asleep when he wasn't looking.
"Almost a day," the newest human told me immediately.
"John!" The first one snapped, giving who I assumed John was a scathing look.
Okay, about a day. They probably were starting to look for us now. I made eye contact with both Eddie and Christian, hoping they understood what I was going to do. I leaned back and closed my eyes, willing sleep to come.
"Little Dhampir!" Adrian exclaimed.
I heard him before I saw him, he was walking towards me. I looked around and noticed we were in at the academy.
"Adrian!" I sighed in relief. "Thank god!" I ran towards him and hugged the life out of him.
"Where are you?" Adrian asked me, the worry clear in his voice.
"In Spokane," I told him. "I need you to do a few things for me!"
"Anything!" Adrian said to me pulling away from our hug.
"I need you to tell Dimitri that we have been captured by Strigoi," I explained to Adrian what happened and how we had been outnumbered when they threatened Christian. And that we were in a neighborhood about forty minutes away from Spokane. Including the numbers I saw on the house when we walked in. 666 — the Strigoi had a sense of humor it seemed.
"I will tell him, Little Dhampir," Adrian told me. "But what happens if we can't get you out of there fast enough?"
"I am trying to come up with a plan, but the humans that are standing guard won't let us talk to each other," I began. "Which leads me to my next point, can you possibly Dreamwalk multiple people at the same time?"
"I have never tried," Adrian told me. "But I can try it. If not, what do you want me to do?"
"I would say if you can't," I thought about it, who would be the most helpful? "Dreamwalk Eddie first!"
"Why Eddie?" Adrian gave me a weird look. "Christian is a fire starter."
"True, but Eddie had to use the bathroom so he was able to scope out the layout partially," I explained to Adrian.
"Okay," Adrian nodded. "I will go to Eddie first and then who he tells me to go to after that."
"How worried is he?" I asked Adrian. I just wanted to go home and be in Dimitri's arms.
"He is going out of his mind," he said to me. "He almost flipped shit when you weren't at the bus station."
"I figured he would," I closed my eyes, scrubbing my face with my hand. "I just want to be home."
"Oh Rose!" Adrian wrapped his arm around me as my eyes filled with tears.
It became too much to handle. I had to be strong and get us out of here, but unfortunately I didn't have a chance to freak out. When in reality I was scared out of my mind. Isaiah was much more terrifying than I expected a Strigoi to be. And his threats of what he would do to me made me tremble, he never said anything but the way he looked at me gave me a pretty good idea what he meant.
"I need to get us out of here," I mumbled after a few minutes.
"You will get out of there!" Adrian said to me. "I promise you, they are on the way!"
"Tell Dimitri that I love him," I told Adrian my voice somber.
"Rose, what's wrong?" Adrian asked me. Him calling me by my name meant that he was being super serious.
"I don't know," I shrugged. "I just have this feeling."
"What kind of feeling?" Adrian asked me looking a little confused.
"I just have a weird feeling," I mumbled. "I just think something bad is going to happen. I understand Mack now, the day he died he said he just had a feeling."
"Your aura is really dark all of a sudden," Adrian told me as he gave me a weird look. "Something is going on with your aura."
"What do you mean?" I asked him, hoping that steered him off the subject of my bad feeling.
"I don't know," Adrian speculated. "I am not sure what's happening with it, but I noticed it since I got back. I am going to do some research on it."
"When they find us you can do all the research you want," I grinned at him.
"Don't worry, Little Dhampir," Adrian winked at me. "I will make sure you are home before that happens."
"Thank you," I smiled him. "Now go!"
He pulled me into a hug and then a few minutes later the dream faded away.
I woke up almost instantly after that. I was trying to figure out how to tell Eddie to try to sleep so Adrian could dreamwalk but I wasn't coming up with anything. I needed it to be subtle so the humans wouldn't get suspicious, but obvious enough that he understood what I meant.
A little later I noticed the humans talking to themselves. It seemed like a good opportunity to try to get Eddie's attention. They were all distracted.
"Eddie, you look a little tired," I said softly. Eddie locked eyes with me, raising one eyebrow. Damn, wish I could do that.
After a couple minutes of thinking, I noticed recognition in his eyes and Christian's. I saw Eddie lay his head back and close his eyes. I watched for a few moments and noticed his breathing even out, and a light snore pick up. He was definitely out. Hopefully Adrian would get to him soon.
I decided to slip into Lissa's head and see what was happening with her. And if she had any news. If anything it was going to distract me.
"Are they okay?" Lissa asked Dimitri.
"From what Adrian told me, they are all fine," Dimitri explained.
"What's the plan? I have been so worried," Lissa wrung her hands as she walked around her dorm room.
I could feel her panic. She had found a note from Christian taped to her door when she came back from the ball. He had apologized leaving early sighting food poising. But the next day when she couldn't find him, her worry had increased. Later when she found out that I had gone missing she feared the worst.
"Abe and his resources are searching for the house," Dimitri told her. "The moment he has the location we are all heading straight there."
"And Christian is okay?" She asked him.
"The Strigoi gave him the option to turn, but he has to do so willingly," he said to her. "It seems that right now, everyone will be fine for the foreseeable future. They are taunting them, but not hurting them."
"He would never turn."
"We know that," he said placing a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. "Right now though, we just need a little more time. It seems like because they want him to turn that he is actually buying us time."
"I am just so worried!" She exclaimed throwing herself down on the bed.
"Lissa, I know this is difficult," Dimitri started. "You know, I am worried too."
"You are?" Lissa looked up at him. Dimitri seemed so calm and put together. It was hard for Lissa to think that he worried or that he was nervous.
"I am worried out of my mind," he told her. "All I can think about it is how Rose is. I want to make sure she is okay. I want her to know I love her and that I am thinking about her."
"Thanks Dimitri," Lissa smiled at him. "That makes me feel better."
"I am going to do everything in my power to get them back," Dimitri said to her before leaving her room.
Hearing that Dimitri was worried and that he was doing everything he could to find me and Christian made her feel a lot better. Sometimes she felt as if the Guardians truly didn't understand what she was going through. She was so scared. There hadn't been any dead animals in a while and she was expecting one to happen soon, but with Christian and me missing it made her nervous to be alone.
She wanted everyone to come back soon. The fear that she could loose more people close to her was almost crippling.
"Kiz," Abe shouted through the house. "I'm home. I was thinking that we could go for a late breakfast." His shouts rudely awakening myself and Dimitri.
Dimitri was Guarding me yesterday and then stayed over last night to keep me company while Abe was away on business. We decided since it was late and we were alone that we would take the time to have some alone time. We had just started a physical relationship earlier in the week. Since then, it seemed like we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. The two of us had made love all afternoon the day before, and long into the evening. Sometime in the early morning we had fallen asleep in a naked pile.
"Shit," I mumbled as I realized that Abe was probably going to head to my room soon. Dimitri looked at me wide eyed.
"What do we do?" Dimitri asked me. If Abe saw us we would be busted, he probably knew we were having sex. But I didn't want him to see it.
"Uh, thats great Baba!" I called down. "I am going to hop in the shower!"
"Before you do," I heard Abe's voice get louder. Shit he must be walking towards the room. "I have something for you! I thought you might want to wear it."
"Crap, crap, crap!" I exclaimed trying to untangle myself from Dimitri's arms. The two of us seemed to be working against each other on accident.
"Oh fuck!" I heard Dimitri groan as he fell off my bed with a loud thump.
"Kiz? You okay?" Abe called out. He sounded like he was on the stairs. We had about a minute and a half.
"Yeah, I just tripped over my shoes!" I called as I tried to find clothes to put on.
"I can't find my shirt!" Dimitri exclaimed looking around my room. He was currently only wearing his jeans, the button still undone along with his belt.
"You know," Abe said as he walked through the house. "You should have come with me, you could have gone shopping. There was a flea market in town. I know how much you love those."
I could hear Abe putting things away in the master bedroom on the other end of the hall, he was toying with us. I just knew it.
I slipped on a pair of panties and the first shirt I saw, it happened to be Dimitri's. "Roza!" Dimitri whisper yelled.
I struggled to take it off, but right as the shirt was coming over my head the bedroom door opened.
"Belikov," Abe's voice rang out. "Should I count down?"
"No, Sir," Dimitri said as he jumped over my bed and made a bee line for the window. Abe was systematically blocking the door.
"Wait!" I exclaimed realizing there were probably Guardians below waiting for Dimitri. Unfortunately I was too late, Dimitri was already in the tree. I noticed he looked down as I yelled, coming to the same conclusion as I had.
"Little girl, fix your shirt," Abe said to me as he walked by.
I adjusted Dimitri's shirt that was almost showing my breasts to the world. Abe stood in front of the window staring at the trapped man. Dimitri couldn't go down because of the Guardians and he couldn't come back into the room because Abe was standing by the window.
"Mr. Mazur, Sir," Dimitri stuttered. "I assure you, I did nothing wrong."
"You slept with my daughter," Abe stated giving Dimitri a slow, dark smile.
"Yes, Sir," Dimitri replied. Honesty was always a good idea with Abe "But I promise you, I didn't take advantage. I asked her constantly if she wanted to, and told her to tell me to stop if she got uncomfortable."
"Is that so?" Abe asked quizzically. He was staring Dimitri down.
"Yes, Mr. Mazur," he told Abe. "And while I know this looks very bad, I want you to know, I love your daughter. I love her so much and I would do anything for her. I would die for her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her."
"Hmmmm," Abe seemed to relish making Dimitri squirm. "If you feel that strongly about her, why did you not wait until you were married?"
"I . . . I . . ." Dimitri stuttered, not being able to come up with a response.
Abe burst out laughing suddenly. Dimitri looked terrified, so was I. Did Abe finally loose his marbles? Was he going to kill Dimitri? No he wouldn't kill him, would he? Oh god, maybe he really was crazy? I knew people always said he was crazy, but now I was seeing it for the first time.
"Daddy, I love him!" I exclaimed suddenly.
"Oh Kiz! I knew the moment you two had sex," Abe told us after his laughing episode was over. "Dimitri, my boy, get inside."
Dimitri hesitantly climbed back into the room. He seemed very unsure of Abe right now, which probably was a good thing. Too many people trusted Abe immediately, it was what got them killed. Abe liked to give people a false sense of security right before he took them out.
"Are you mad?" I asked him softly.
"No, I am not mad," Abe shrugged. "I figured you would have sex with someone eventually."
"Uh, okay," I was super confused. Abe clearly had lost his marbles.
"Besides, Dimitri and I have had some very interesting chats, haven't we?"
"Yes, Sir," Dimitri coughed out. He looked even more uncomfortable now than he did earlier. What did Abe say to him?
"We know exactly what will happen if he hurts you," Abe grinned sadistically. "Isn't that right?"
"I would never hurt her," Dimitri stated confidently.
"Then we have nothing to worry about!" Abe exclaimed rubbing his hands together. "Now, Kiz! I have presents!"
"Hello!" Isaiah said as he waltzed into the room. It had been a few days since we first got here. My guess was three, but it was hard to tell. There were no windows here and it was difficult to get a sense of time from the human guards. The only indication was how hungry and thirsty we all were.
And as of right now we didn't have a plan. Well, Adrian hadn't visited my dreams since the first time so if a plan was forming I wasn't privy to it.
"Bastard," I mumbled.
"Did you all miss me?" Isaiah asked us. Isaiah typically dropped by every few hours but he had been gone for what felt like a day this last time.
"You sick fuck," I mumbled. I was hungry, thirsty, and crabby. I was in no mood to play his games today.
"Oh now, pretty little blood whore," Isaiah came and soon in front of me. He leaned in and skimmed his nose up the column of my throat like he did the first time. "If you wanted a bite, all you had to do was ask."
"Fuck you!" I exclaimed and spitting in his face.
"Such a shame," Isaiah pulled back and whipped my spittle off his face. "You know you would make an excellent Strigoi. But alas, we only need you to find the Princess."
"What?" I asked in shock. I saw Christian's posture go ridged.
"Do you really believe that you can protect her?" Isaiah asked me. "You couldn't protect her from her parents dying. And you couldn't protect her from the dead animals."
"How did you know that?" I stuttered out. He knew about the dead animals, how did he know that? Did he know who put them there?
"I am the mastermind behind them," Isaiah grinned before laughing maniacally. "Did you think it was a coincidence that you were captured? Or that you are still alive?"
Did you see that coming? Lots happening! :P
I hope you enjoyed it! :) There will be a lot happening in the next two chapters :P Hang in there, it is going to be a wild ride!
Not all recommended stories this week are VA or Twilight! Some are Disney :) I have started reading some Disney Fanfiction and I have really enjoyed it so I thought I would drop them here :)
