Luffyko jumped off the ship and looked into the town, "Woo-hoo! What a huge town!"

Nami grinned at the girl's excitement, "Lots of pirates stock up at this town before they head to the Grand Line. You can pretty much do whatever you want here."

Usopp ginned with excitement, "Alright! For my upcoming great adventure, I'm gunna need some really cool stuff!"

Sanji eyed the food in the area, "I'll bet there's lots of good food to check out here…and lot's of good woman!" He said with hearts in his eyes.

Zoro rolled his eyes then put his hand on his chin, "There is something I wanna buy…"

Nami turned towards the swordsman with a calculating girn, "Oh, and how are you going to do that? You're totally broke, aren't you?" She asked leaning in with a smirk.

Luffyko ignored them and looked forward, "Okay! I'm going to the execution platform! I want to see it! The place where the Pirate King died!"

Nami grabbed her before she took of running, "Hold up, we haven't decided a place to meet back up at."

Luffyko frowned as Nami told everyone where they were supposed to meet and when. She tried to take off only to have Nami hold her back, "But Nami!"

"Just wait and I will buy you food." Nami said and watched as the girl stood as still as possible and she gave some money to Zoro, "I normally charge a 600% interest, but since you've helped me and all that I will half that to 300% interest. Your welcome." She turned around ignoring Zoro glaring daggers into the back of her head and grabbed her captain's hand, "Come on Luffyko, you are coming with me." She led the girl into a clothing store and grabbed different articles of clothing and shoved the girl in the dressing room with the clothes. "Try those on and let me see. If you cooperate I will buy you all the food you could want."

"You got a deal!" Luffyko cried as she began to pull on some of the clothes. She looked at the strange shirt she had put on and frowned, "It feels like it's crushing me!" She complained as she walked out in the strange contraption and her shorts.

Nami hit her in the head, "Idiot! That's a sports bra! Why are you walking out here like that!"

"What they are covered?" Luffyko quickly covered her head when she saw Nami's reaction, "I'm sorry!"

Nami sighed and gave the girl a gentle pat on the head, "It's fine. In fact, this just might work out for you. Try on some more of the clothes and keep that in a special pile. What works we will buy, so you have something else to wear. After all, that's your only vest, and I'm tired of sewing it up every time you get in a fight." She watched as the girl sighed and then grabbed clothes for her, not bothering to try them on. She looked good in anything after all. She watched as her captain came out in different vests, pants, shoes, and dresses.

Luffyko frowned as she came out in another outfit, "Can't I stop now? I'm hungry."

Nami sighed and gave a small nod. She couldn't help but smile as the girl quickly changed her clothes. Nami took the clothes that she thought Luffyko could use and quickly paid for them with the 50% discount she convinced the man to give her. She turned to see Luffyko waiting for her and handed the bags to the girl, "Here you go Luffy."

Luffyko looked at her in surprise hearing the name that only a few others had called her, "You called me Luffy."

Nami gasped and put her hands over her mouth, "I'm so sorry, Luffyko! I didn't mean anything by it-" She paused when she saw Luffyko start to laugh, "Luffyko?"

"Luffy is fine, it makes me feel like we are blood sisters!"

Nami smiled and pulled the girl into a hug, "We are sisters. Now Luffy, how about some food!"

Luffyko grinned and nodded, "Let's go!" She followed Nami to a stand and bounced with excitement as Nami bought four turkey legs "You are going to eat two turkey legs? You can sure eat more than I thought Nami!"

Nami hit her in the head, "Idiot, one is yours. I know two won't satisfy you."

Luffyko felt tears come to her eyes, "You are the best sister ever!"

Nami rolled her eyes and watched as the girl devoured the one leg in seconds. "Here you go, now be careful. There are probably marines here, and you have a bounty now…and your gone." She sighed as she watched the girl disappear into the crowds, "Well time for some me shopping…maybe I can find Sanji to carry these bags…"

Luffyko finished the turkey legs and took another turn and found herself at the harbor, "Huh? How did I end up back at the harbor?" She saw a man standing with some other people and called out to them, "HEY!" She walked over casually and looked up at the tall man with strange white hair. He was smoking on two cigars as he looked down at her with no interest, "What luck! Can you tell me how to get the execution platform?"

Smoker looked at the small girl before him. She was clearly not with the pirates he had just defeated, and being such a small girl not with the Luffyko pirates. There is no way such a small girl could be a pirate, "Execution plaform?"

The girl nodded and scratched her head tilting her hat a little more, "Yeah, I think I'm lost."

"I've never seen your face before."

The girl gave him a grin, "Yeah! I just came here today. Man what a big city! It's totally different from Fuusha village."

Smoker looked at the girl, he couldn't understand why she wanted to go to the execution platform, "Why do you want to go to the platform?"

The girl looked forward, her hat blocking her face from his, "I want to see it. The place where the Pirate King died." She said as she looked up at him with determination. When he didn't respond she looked around him, "Hmm…you don't know? Whatever."

Smoker watched as she began to walk away, "Wait. Follow the smoke it will take you to the platform."

"Oh thanks!" She called out as she took off running. After a time she lost the smoke and found herself in a small ally away from everyone, "Man I'm beat. I was trying to get to the execution platform, but this doesn't look to be the right way at all. Oh well, I'm bound to run into it eventually." She walked down some stairs and saw a split in her path, "Now which way…This way or…" She turned and saw a sign that read 'Bar Gold Roger' "Gold Roger?" She quickly went down the stairs into a dark room with tables and chairs, although the chairs were flipped up on the bar. She could only find seating at the bar and a lone table where a man sat drinking. "Old man are you the owner? The sign out there says 'Gold Roger.' Is that the name of this place?"

"Get out." The small old man responded as he took another drink. "This isn't a place for kids. And we are closed right now."

"Out of business?"

The man glared at the girl, "We're not out of business! It's just after hours. Now get out!"

Luffyko ignored him and walked towards the nearby bar and sat down on a stool, "I was just curious about the name. I'm lost. I wanted to go see the execution platform. Can you tell me how to get there?" She looked over at the man and for the first time noticed the large skull that sat at his table, "What's that thing on the table? It's a skull, it's huge!"

The old man tried not to look at the young girl in his bar, "This is the skull of a man known as the 'Killer Giant,' a man who killed hundered's of pirates. He was a devil. But Gold Roger fought and killed him."

Luffyko began to wiggle in her seat, excited to hear about her idol, "Gold Roger did?!"

The old man grinned and threw his hands into the air, "It's a famous tale! He was a big, rough guy, with a big sword! The battle was decided pretty quickly." He said as he crossed his arms looking at the girl who was hanging on to his every word. He pointed to a hole in the skull, "This is the gash that killed him. But he was really something! His last words were: 'Roger, no one can touch you. I praise you as the eternal pirate.'"

Luffyko was shaking with excitement, "Awesome! Cool!"

"King of the Eric Pirates, the famous gunner Silver-Silver, the devilish Kung-Fu brothers, all were dangerous men. Yet before Roger, they were all scared little babies." He looked at the girl and hide his smile over her excitement, "Want to here more?"

"Yeah!"

"Nowadays, youngsters don't usually take an interest in this stuff. Especially, pretty young girls."

"I don't care, just tell me more!"

"Pesky kid. Gold Roger…back then…no, still today. He's the only pirate who truly didn't fear the dangers of the Grand Line. Because you see, the area known as the Grand Line, is the place where ships disappear and are never seen again. Navigation is said to be impossible. Because people are so scared of it, they seldom come close to that cursed ocean. Gold Roger came in and told me he was going there, because of everything people feared. Saying that, he cleared out all the alcohol in the bar and set off the next morning, as though, there was nothing to fear. Later on, when I heard he had conquered the Grand Line, I was so surprised; I even forgot my age for a bit! But now, everyone has passed on. Roger was executed at the gallows here in town twenty years ago. And from that day, everyone's been going around with the audacity to call themselves pirates. They even call this 'The Great Pirate Age!' It's all just a bunch of rubbish…cowards. Less and less people are daring to sail the Grand Line. And so, that is the reason this place will be closed down."

Luffyko just gave a silly giggle, "I'm going to the Grand Line." The man looked at her but could only see her hat, her eyes hidden, "He was cool, huh? Gold Roger. Pirates should try to be like him. That's why I went out to sea, to go to the Grand Line and find the One Piece. I'm going to be the Pirate King!"

The old man looked at her, her eyes looking straight at him, he almost yelled at her audacity then couldn't help but envision Gold Roger behind her. "Don't you mean the Pirate Queen? Besides that's a crazy thing to say. How could you say that, here of all places?"

"What? But I'm telling you the truth! I'm going to be the next Pirate King, just like Gold Roger."

The man smiled gently at the girl, "Girl, after having a customer like you, I feel like closing this shop a little later."

Luffyko looked up in surprise, "Don't do that for me."

The old man got up and moved towards the bar, "It's decided. There is nothing you can do to change my mind. It's been a long time since I've had a customer. Drink's on the house."

"I don't drink." Luffyko said as she watched the man go behind the counter.

The man laughed and then grabbed something else, "Is that so? Then how about this?" He poured out two glasses of milk and handed one to the slim girl. "Cheers to him, the Eternal Pirate King."

Luffyko turned around and took her class, "To the Eternal Pirate King!" She took her drink and then asked for directions. With directions in hand she took back to the streets and soon found herself surrounded by people again, "So this is Main Street. I wonder if Gold Roger ever walked along this Street?" Suddenly she stopped and looked up, the large execution platform before her. "There it is…" She looked up and tried to calm herself, she was so full of emotion, excited, saddened, inspired, and many others. How could she take this moment lightly, 'This is the place where the Pirate King was executed. The place where the greatest pirate who ever lived…died…the place of the beginning…' She couldn't look away from the platform and felt herself walking closer unconsciously, "The view that the Pirate King saw before he died…I want to see it too!" She nodded to herself and looked up at it, "Alright,! I'm climbin' it!" She began her climb, ignoring all of the people watching her. She scared herself when her hand slipped but easily recovered.

"Hey! Hey kid."

Luffyko frowned and turned around to look at the guy who spoke to her. She found herself looking at the white haired man again, "What? I'm kinda busy right now."

Smoker stared at the slim girl in disbelief, "Is it really you? The most wanted Criminal in East Blue?"

"I'm Luffyko, what's up?"

"I'm the Captain of the Marine Base here in Loguetown, Smoker. I'm here to arrest you." He said preparing to apprehend the young pirate.

Luffyko turned and looked at him with surprise, "Arrest me?" She provided him with a smirk then, "I refuse. I'm setting off for the Grand Line, so I can become the Pirate King!"

"Pirate King?" Smoker said, surprised that such a slim girl held such ambitions.

"So how could I get arrested?"

Smoker looked at the girl with her bounty and ambition he knew the best way to apprehend her, "Then defeat me. If you can't get past me, then you have no hope of entering the Grand Line. So it all depends on whether or not you have the courage to fight me."

Luffyko looked at him and smiled at the challenge, "So I got to beat you to go to the Grand Line, huh? Then I'll defeat you." She said with a confident smirk.

"Try it."

"Gum Gum…" She stretched herself and then got caught on the beams her legs were holding, causing her to stretch.

"So, she's a rubber human." Smoker commented as he watched her swing on the platform.

"Crap, my feet are stuck." Luffyko said with a frown as she held her hat on her head.

Smoker glared at her laidback nature and yelled at her, "Moron! What the hell are you doing?!" He couldn't help but think she was to innocent to be a pirate.

"I didn't mean to do that," Luffyko whined as she shot her body up to her feet trying to free them, "it's my feet" She pulled and suddenly she was flying off, "I'm free! Gum Gum Pistol!" She yelled throwing her punch at him, missing and crushing into the ground.

Smoker was behind her already, "Slow." He said as he punched her and then caught her with his foot sending her into the sky. 'You're worth 30 million Belly? I don't even have to use my Devil Fruit power with this. My fists are enough for this job.'

Luffyko caught herself on the execution platform and launched herself back at him, "Here I come!"

Smoker easily dodged and punched her in the face sending her into the platform only to come tumbling back down. He felt a little guilty using his strength against the slim girl and again questioned her ability and power. However, she wanted to challenge the Pirate King in his hometown. "I witnessed what happened here twenty years ago. He had the pride and ambition of the Pirate King, right down to his last moments. You said Pirate King? Don't make me laugh. You can't even get to the Grand Line." He saw her trying to get up and sighed, "It's useless, no matter how many times you stand up."

She stood up and surprised everyone with a large smile, "Well, how can I know if I haven't tried?" She prepared herself then, "Here I go! Gum Gum Whip!" She pulled back her leg and then whipped it at him only to have him again dodge it. Instead her leg wrapped around a fountain, "Crap! I think I missed!" She yelled as she got pulled into her attack and then shot out and away from the platform and Smoker. She finally crashed into the ground and sighed, "Man, I flew so far out of the way. Who was that guy, anyway? Well what should I do now?" She yawned then and pulled her hat over her eyes, "Guess I could always…take a nap." Within seconds she fell asleep, uncaring of the noisy townspeople checking to see if she still lived. Instead, she was dreaming of the town she was in, and the man who started it all Gold Roger.
