-Carol-

Carol woke up yawning. She walked into the dining area and grabbed a bowl of oatmeal thanking the Woodbury woman that served her. Her name was Marie and she was a nice old lady that smiled at everyone and always told them really pointless stories. But whoever she was telling a story to stopped and listened because she was the nicest lady in the prison. She was always thinking about others. Carol listened to her small story about bears then moved to an empty table and began eating. As she was eating Jen and Dave joined her. It had been about a week since they got back to the prison and Carol has been thankful everyday that she was safer than she was the couple days she was outside the prison fences.

Carol only went on the run to see what the world has become and after seeing the mess it was in she knew she wouldn't want to get stuck out there again.

"So you talk to Daryl yet?" Jen asked leaning towards Carol.

"No" Carol replied coldly, "I haven't spoken to him since last week…" Carol felt bad for sounding so cold but she couldn't help it. Her relationship with Daryl only got worse after they got back to the prison. Daryl felt that he needed to make space in between himself and Carol and Carol had no idea what to think. She was so confused over Daryl's confession and that he is taking blame for her memory loss. She knew it couldn't have been Daryl's fault and after having a chat with Hershel about it she learned that it wasn't Daryl's fault at all. She had simply ran into the tombs after getting pissed off and Daryl being Daryl had followed her farther into the tombs and the next thing walkers were everywhere and as she was running away tripped and fell. She didn't want to bombard Hershel with a million questions but what he said didn't really add up for Daryl thinking the whole memory loss mess was his fault but she simply thanked the old man and continued on with that days activities.

Daryl was growing on her quickly, she was going to miss his grouchy attitude and his heart of gold but Something in her gut was telling her to just give Daryl some space even though she wanted to talk to him about this. She went from constantly being around Daryl for four consecutive days to not seeing him at all for a whole week and it made her feel a little disappointed.

"Have you seen Maggie around?" Jen said changing the subject.

Carol shook her head, "No why?"

"She was thinking of taking you out to go find the truck you and Daryl left last week."

Carol nodded as much as she really didn't want to go outside the prison fences she knew that the supplies in that truck were needed at the prison. Whatever they collected in the first truck had been enough to support most of the fences but more was needed to re enforce a little bit of the gates. With winter rolling in faster than expected they were going to need to stock up on food and construction supplies.

"I guess I can talk to her later but I don't really want to go." Carol smiled, "I just… feel really secure right now and don't want to ruin it by going back to that place."

"I can understand that" Jen said, "After staying here for a week I don't think I will ever want to leave! I can't thank you and Daryl enough for taking us in."

Carol's smile widened, "Thanks honey." She replied sweetly, "You don't know who you can trust now-a-days but I made the right call in trusting you."

Carol got up saying good bye to Jen and Dave before heading over to the library where Maggie was probably organizing this so called rescue mission to retrieve their abandon supplies. As she neared the library she could hear voices but when she walked in she frowned upon seeing Daryl for the first time since he yelled at her outside their empty graves. She looked into his eyes and he was obviously avoiding her stare.

She turned to Maggie, "Jen tells me you are planning a run to go get that truck?"

Maggie smiled, "Ya actually I was just planning that out right now! I was wondering if you and Daryl could take one of the cars and lead me and Glenn to where you left the truck."

"Now way" Carol and Daryl both said in unison. They turned their faces to look at each other before turning back to Maggie.

"Can't one of us just go why do we both have to go?" Carol asked noticing that Daryl was staring at her. She didn't want to look over at him but also didn't like the feeling she was getting from not looking at him.

"One a'us is good enough" Daryl said quietly.

"No, we need both of you" Maggie said frowning, "What of one of you guys doesn't quite remember where you left it?"

Carol frowned; Maggie wanted her and Daryl alone in a small car for about three hours alone, just them? Not going to happen, Carol thought.

"Please" Maggie begged, "Stop acting like babies. You two obviously have issues right now but can't you just forget them for a couple hours until we get the truck back?"

Carol finally looked over to Daryl and nodded at him. He caught her nod and nodded back.

"Fine" He growled.

"I guess" Carol shrugged. Maybe they could talk about what got him so mad and why he thought it was his fault she had memory loss. Carol smiled maybe she could fix things between them.

"Okay, meet us by the fences tomorrow morning."

-Prison-

Carol and Daryl both nodded then exited the library one after the other walking in separate directions.

"What's with them?" Glenn asked staring at Maggie.

"I'm not exactly sure but some of the Woodbury folks told me that they got into a pretty heated argument last week and haven't spoken since…" Maggie went and sat down in a library chair, "They just don't see it…"

"See what?" Glenn said innocently.

Maggie rolled her eyes at him, "That they love each other! I seriously think you have been living under a rock!" she giggled.

"Even if they were we can't really do anything about it." He said getting ready to leave. Glenn moved over to Maggie and grabbed her hand pulling her up. After she got up he didn't remove his hand loving the way hers felt entwined with his.

Maggie's smile widened, "Oh but I already did."

Glenn stopped and smirked at his wife, "What did you do?"

"You don't really believe we need both of them to track down that busted truck do you?"

Suddenly it all clicked for Glenn. Maggie planned to take them out to find that truck so they could fix whatever problems Daryl and Carol had with each other. This way they would technically be stuck with each other in one of the small cars for most of the day so they could talk things over and maybe resolve whatever is going on between them. Knowing Carol she will try and fix whatever was going on with them even if Daryl resists. It was the perfect plan.

"Oh! You are a genius!" Glenn pulled Maggie's hand towards him self and gave her a quick kiss, "I have to go on watch. Catch ya later?"

Maggie smiled, "See ya, walker bait" She let go of his hand and walked towards the kitchen.

-Carol-

Carol didn't understand why they needed both of them to go get the trucks. She was nervous to leave the prison again but also excited to be with Daryl. Maybe she could fix things between them. She walked towards her cell when she suddenly heard laughing coming from the other direction then the same voices calling her name.

"Carol!" Carol turned around just as Mika hugged her tightly. Lizzie rolled her eyes and stood farther away from them.

"Hey girls" Carol said, "I haven't seen you guys in a couple days. How is everything going?" After Carol got back Lizzie and Mika were really happy to see her. They ran up to her, hugging her with tears in their eyes. Carol hugged them back and they took an hour the next day to catch up and spend some time together. But lately the girls were busy but so was Carol. Marie loved to hang out with the girls so she took it upon herself to take care of them when Carol was "gone". Lizzie and Mika loved her stories and warmed right up to her pretty quickly. They spent the last week sleeping in Marie's cell and Carol didn't mind but she did miss the two girls rooming with her.

"I'm okay" Lizzie said, "It's getting pretty cold outside and staying inside will be boring."

"Ya but we can draw lots of cool pictures to hang up." Mika said. Lizzie nodded. "We are just going to see if Carl wants to play with us."

"Okay have fun." Carol smiled waving to the two girls. It was good to see them alive and happy. The girls left Carol alone and headed out to find Carl.
